In ...JP's motives are very unclear to me Colin. In one respect, he goes against the clear teaching of scripture as you say in your comment above... This MAY mean that it is a deliberate attempt to muddy the waters for believers as we approach the 70th week. In another respect he may have just lost his grip for some reason? It is not for me to judge the man.. but the fact remains that his eschatology does not add up and we should avoid it. God bless. That is a called-out people that "hear My voice"; they are ONE and the SAME! despite JP's best efforts to have us believe otherwise. The "faithful people" can be none other than the "elect of God".

The church WILL be here right up to the precise moment of the Return of our Lord! Then grace will surely end and God's wrath/judgments will be unleashed on the world.

Satan CANNOT go beyond what God in Christ permits him to do.

I am still very unclear about JP's motives on this unbiblical teaching, if indeed, he has any?

God bless.

colinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07132820921599851331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4103925900569325548.post-1856581504963498592016-08-07T12:06:08.530-07:002016-08-07T12:06:08.530-07:00I agree with you Pat... it is convoluted and uncle...I agree with you Pat... it is convoluted and unclear. I think he is trying to back up his own model of trying to match the pre-Pentecost church with the believers during great tribulation prior to the rapture. According to JP, the faithful believers during the great tribulation will not be a functioning church as such.. there will be "no grace" to preach the gospel - although Luke 21:15 and other scriptures lead me to believe otherwise. When he talks about "the church" I think he means the harlot church... but that is just my guess. I doubt we will get an explanation even if we ask, such is the arrogance of this man!

God is not the author of confusion..

God bless Treena Gisbornhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16783721039030779975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4103925900569325548.post-90267055200257314232016-08-07T03:34:41.126-07:002016-08-07T03:34:41.126-07:00I have questions. When Prasch says “The church wil...I have questions. When Prasch says “The church will have become so worldly and so corrupted, persecution becomes a necessary evil to sort out the faithful bride from the harlot church..... this will be the last chance for the bride to get ready... Don't confuse 'why are we here' with 'why is the church here'; the church will be finished, it will face dissolution; the church will not be here, just the faithful people who are in it will be here waiting to be rescued. God will leave them here for purposes of preparing them for the coming of Jesus.”

The persecution he says becomes necessary to sort out the faithful bride….so who’s doing the persecuting? Satan or God? Sounds like he is indicating God is?

Don’t confuse why are we here, with why is the church here?....How can we separate ourselves from the body? Or how can Christ separate His body?

How can the church not be here yet faithful people are? And if God is leaving them for purposes of preparing them for the coming of Jesus…..isn’t he coming for His bride? If the faithful are here “waiting” and “preparing” isn’t that the bride…the church?

Not sure how anyone could read this and not be confused by what he says. Would love some feedback on this. Thanks, blessings

Pathttps://wordpress.com/menoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4103925900569325548.post-7696626314286641652016-08-01T05:40:24.295-07:002016-08-01T05:40:24.295-07:00You make some excellent points Colin once again. T...You make some excellent points Colin once again. Thank you. It is a very foolish man who goes beyond what is written, particularly so when it comes to the gospel. We should remember that the identity of the restrainer is a secondary question, if it were primary, then I believe that we would know for sure, and that the Lord would have ensured that it was clear in the scriptures! I believe much confusion has been wrought on the body of Christ in regards to its standing with Israel and law & grace: The Church IS a called out people from the world/nations; comprising of Jews and the Gentiles; but God has NOT yet finished with Israel, the land, and her unbelieving people, until the time of the end! (Zechariah 12.10). Surely, as Gentile believers we ARE a "holy people", but NOT "THE holy people"!

As Gentile believers, should we not speak as Ruth the Moabitess did? "Thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God" Ruth 1.16. Nevertheless; in the gospels, the "holy people" spoken of by Daniel the prophet were THE people God in Christ came to save; that is,"His people from their sins" Matthew 1.21. (Those names written in the Lamb's book of life (Jews & of course Gentiles!)).

The Saviour commanded the twelve "Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not." Matthew 10.5. Salvation was ONLY to be preached to the entire world AFTER (Matthew 28.19-20-the Great Commission so-called) the prophesied national rejection of Israel. The chief priests, scribes and elders even mocked God in Christ in Matthew 27.41-43 saying if He is God's Son, then He will save Him from this hour! The accredited leaders of Israel were blinded to the veritable fact that the Cross was the greatest victory ever!

I quote from good old Bunyan's "The Groans of a Lost Soul."

Like Baalam, who said, "I cannot go beyond the word of the Lord." (Numb xxii 18), so long as he had something of the word of the Lord with authority, severity, and power on his heart; but at another time he could teach Balak to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel. Rev. ii.14.
Because the CARNAL PRIESTS DO TICKLE THE EARS OF THEIR HEARERS WITH VAIN PHILOSOPHY AND DECEIT (italics in original); and thereby harden their hearts against the simplicity of the gospel and word of God. Which things the apostle admonished those that have a mind to close in with Christ (Col ii.18.), saying "Beware lest any man (be he what he will) spoil you, through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after rudiments of the world, and not after Christ....I say unto you that you have sinned against God and beguiled your hearers, when God shall in the judgment day lay the cause of the damnation of many thousands of souls to your charge, and say, He will require their blood at your hands.

James 3.1.

God bless.

colinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07132820921599851331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4103925900569325548.post-3844770606189746682016-07-28T12:38:44.664-07:002016-07-28T12:38:44.664-07:00I agree Anonymous.. it is a presumptuous teaching....I agree Anonymous.. it is a presumptuous teaching.
