JESUS ARMY: SEXUAL, PHYSICAL, FINANCIAL AND SPIRITUAL ABUSE ALLEGATIONS!

The Northampton Chronicle & Echo
By Paul Lynch 18 September 2017

SPECIAL REPORT: Alleged victim of historic abuse reveals traumatic childhood growing up in Jesus Army

Ex Jesus Army member Philippa Muller believes there must be a public inquiry into allegations of historical abuse at the religious sect.
Ex Jesus Army member Philippa Muller believes there must be a public inquiry into
allegations of historical abuse at the religious sect.
A former Jesus Army member who claims to have been molested as a child in the 1980s believes a full public inquiry must be held to give voice to damaged ex-members.
Philippa Muller, who has agreed to waive her right to anonymity to tell her story, spent her early life in Woking, Surrey, with her parents and three siblings, but sold up everything they owned to join Noel Stanton’s Jesus Army movement in the 1980s.

Noel Stanton in the 1980s. The founder of the Jesus Army, who died in 2009, is alleged to have abused members sexually and financially.

Noel Stanton in the 1980s. The founder of the Jesus Army, who died in 2009, is alleged to have abused members sexually and financially.

The firebrand preacher formed the evangelist movement in 1969 at Bugbrooke Chapel, before expanding it to a series of communal houses, a farm, and later a network of businesses ranging from a bakery to a solicitors’ firm.
Philippa’s family used to go to a free church in their area and her brother was baptised there. But sometime in the mid-1980s her mother and father befriended a couple who were part of a growing Baptist movement in Northamptonshire. They were Jesus Army members seeking out new recruits for the sect and Philppa’s parents, inspired by the idea of a rural community devoted to Christianity, settled to join them. Her father, who worked for the Ministry of Defence, dropped everything and within months they had moved north to live at Bugbrooke.
The family took up residence in a communal house, Shalom, shared by around 15 other people when Philippa was just five.
Her childhood was “idyllic” in a lot of ways at the time, she said, filled with long walks and picnics, a sense of belonging.

Noel Stanton.

Noel Stanton.

“It was free in many senses,” she said. “I remember being allowed to help in lambing season, we had a big a garden that we enjoyed.
“My parents were really good at maintaining a sense of normality as well.”
But the regime operated by head pastor Stanton was strict – and breaking the rules often led to consequences.
She remembers, as a child, drawing underneath the chairs in Bugbrooke chapel during worship and scribbling crude nude drawings on the paper.
When the doodles were discovered, she was hauled into a quiet room with a fireplace – so a community elder could cast demons from her.
“You couldn’t talk about anything to do with your body, it would be seen as indecent to do so, she said. “All the women wore skirts and you weren’t supposed to show your ears, it was seen as sinful.”
Members were also expected to renounce all material possessions under Stanton’s teachings.
Clothing was communal, birthdays were replaced with ‘honouring days’, households were judged in league table type format with the worst performers being ‘visited’ by a ‘fire’ team who would renew zeal for the cause.
Gradually Philippa remembers separating from the outside world and took on the lingo that had developed in the community.
Outsiders were known as ‘worldlings’, those not towing the line were known as ‘backsliders’.
Soon her older sister and brother were moved into different households as the natural family was seen as secondary to the spiritual family, she said.
Her parents were convinced to sell up their home and plough their wealth into a common fund. Discipline made life tough for children, she said - but even tougher for girls. Then, as she moved into her teenage years, the restrictive regime began to take its toll.
“I remember having to ask permission to revise for my GCSE exams, because of the continuous routine of meetings throughout the week. Education was not encouraged, it was seen as the way to material wealth, which was evil.”
Later she went on to study business at Northampton College while trying to fit her revision exam around a seven-day roster of meetings and activities that included a three-hour Sunday worship held by Stanton.
A recording sent to the Chronicle & Echo from a 1990s ITV broadcast saw Stanton preaching about inherent “sin” in the “genitals” at Cornhill Manor, a regular topic of his firebrand sermons.
She believes the leader - who called on members to take a vow of celibacy and has since been the speculation of sexual abuse claims – saw women as a threat to the Godly path of the males in the community. “You could never talk about anything to do with your body with anyone, it would be seen as indecent to do so”, she said. “Women and girls were there to serve only, serve the elders and the men in the community.
“Women had to wear ankle length skirts for modesty and you weren’t even supposed to show your ears, it was seen as sinful.”
“I grew up assuming there was something wrong with me, I could never attain redemption because I was born of Eve, and I cast sin into the world by making Adam eat the apple from the tree of life.
“Where can you go from such a negative starting point?”
It meant that when two teenage boys molested her at a young age, she never reported it. Philippa felt no one would believe her.
“We didn’t have a voice to question,” she added.
When Philippa was still a teenager, she saw something that would change the course of her life.
She saw a fellow Jesus Army being molested by an elder, who was later jailed for the sexual abuse.
During the trial she was ostracised from the community to the extent she had to sit through a sermon by Stanton in which he talked about ridding the sect of ‘liars’.
She knew the sermon was about her.
The ordeal left her with little choice to leave the Jesus Army aged 18 and without a penny to her name.
Philippa, now 38, says her time in the religious sect has left her scarred.
She said: “We helped the needy - bringing the homeless alcoholics and drug addicts back into our homes, with no regard for the safeguarding of our own.
“I remember lying in bed at night and worrying about the drug addicts who were sharing my dormitory bedroom. I was 10 years old.”
“Bad things were done there in an environment that was meant to be Christian and Godly,” she added.
“But those things were allowed to happen because there was no safeguarding in place.
“We operated outside of society.
“We were drawing in people, then encouraging them to behave in a way that was so ungodly.
“There are a lot of damaged people out there that need to be acknowledged.”
Philippa believes an independent public inquiry is the only recourse for others left scarred from their ordeals.
In 2015 a safeguarding report into Jesus Army by the Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service (CCPAS) looked only at the sect’s current safeguarding practices and did not consider allegations of past abuse.
But Philippa believes that inquiry must be held by an entirely independent body, not a Christian organisation.
“The abuse wasn’t just sexual, it was physical, it was financial, it was spiritual” she said. “I spent my entire upbringing based on one man’s interpretation of the bible.”

GLOBAL LEGACY ALL NATIONS CHURCH LEICESTER JANUARY 2018!

All Nations Church Frog Island Leicester UK are hosting a Global Legacy Conference on the 5th and 6th of January 2018. It is rather grandly described as: "2018's gathering of leaders from across the UK and Europe". {1} Global Legacy is an offshoot of the infamous Bethel Church Redding which engages in all kinds of vile abominations. (Ezekiel 8:9). Bethel/Jesus Culture and associates such as John Crowder, Heidi Baker, Cindy Jacobs, Todd Bentley etc. are utterly immersed in occult activities and demonic manifestations. Bethel bases its alleged "ministry" on subjective spiritual experiences rather than the teachings of Jesus Christ and his apostles! Christians should shun lying "signs" ..fake gold dust, diamonds, angel feathers, grave sucking, spiritual drunkenness, portals, visualisation, spirit-travel, fire-tunnels, angel-orbs, glory clouds, impartations and so on. ..an evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign. (Matthew 6:4; 12:39). Bill Johnson's wife, grave sucker and occult diviner, Beni, even claims to wake up angels with "prophetic toys". {2}

Jesus Christ specifically warned about the appearance of "false christs" and "false prophets" in the last days. (Matthew 24:24). In fact the Antichrist himself will eventually appear with spectacular counterfeit signs and wonders: The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders.. (2 Thessalonians 2:9).

Are Trinity Life Church Leicester about to engage in yet another scandalous departure from the scriptures? In his "vision for 2018", David Hind announced that Trinity Life Church (TLC) are to hold a "Father Heart Conference" in the near future. I do hope that this event is not connected with Paul Manwaring and Global Legacy, but since TLC do not know their right hand from their left, I am not holding my breath! (Jonah 4:11).

TLC's previous attempt at hosting a Father Heart Conference took place in 2011. This event was supported by Holy Trinity Church and Knighton Free Church. That particular conference was led by false teacher/prophet Mark Stibbe, a former associate of the infamous Todd Bentley of fake "Toronto Blessing" renown! Stibbe also promoted the "Third Wave" false teaching at St Andrews Church Chorleywood for a number of years. In 2012 Stibbe gave up his alleged "ministry" due to a "moral failure". {3}

Martin60: "I found Stibbe vastly disappointing BEFORE his fall from grace and that compounded it. I saw him speak in Leicester, where he'd been effusively welcomed by our vicar, where he listed all his major blessings; wife, kids, family, home, career, success (which included describing his jet setting lecture tour of America) and actually said, "If it's on, it's in.". In other words, everything he prayed for, he got.. In a room full of poor, broken people.. Then he threw it all away for another woman.." {4}

Holy Trinity Church Leicester is already fully committed to SOZO, another Bethel abomination. Both Holy Trinity and Leicester City Vineyard Church are also contaminated by the New Wine deception. {5}

I am requesting prayers from discerning Christians that church leaders will find some integrity and protect their flocks by shunning events connected with the false revival of Global Legacy and the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR). (John 10:11-15). Please pray that believers do not get drawn into further counterfeit "Christian" events as they have done in the past.

Below: The leaven spreading throughout Johnson's Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM). Grave sucking at Bethel: Necromancy "Christian style". These pictures are more like scenes from some sick horror movie rather than anything remotely connected to Jesus Christ! (Luke 24:5).

If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, ‘Let us go after other gods,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us serve them,’ you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For the Lord your God is testing you, to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him. (Deuteronomy 13:1-4).

Below is an excerpt from a recent post I wrote about Paul Manwaring/Global Legacy:

Paul Manwaring is on the senior leadership team at Bethel church, Redding, CA, with specific responsibility for Global Legacy, a ministry of Bethel that promotes "worldwide revival".

"Global Legacy is a relational network that connects, encourages, and equips revival leaders worldwide. We expand God’s kingdom by helping to build relationships between revival leaders, ministries, and organizations around the globe, and to equip them to transform their spheres of influence.." {1}

Global Legacy was spawned out of Bethel Church as a result of a "prophetic word" from their Senior Pastor, the infamous NAR cult leader and alleged "apostle" Bill Johnson. Manwaring, who is British, returned to live in the UK in December 2016 in order to oversee the aims of Global Legacy in Europe. Global Legacy is cross denominational and has no doctrinal statement. Critically, Manwaring teaches that there should be no secular / sacred divide.

Manwaring: “My passion is that the church equips the Saints to do Kingdom. It’s time for reformation in every sphere, to erase the secular/sacred divide and marry the natural with the supernatural. ‘Awakening Europe’ is an incredible new movement.."  {2}
Manwaring refers of course to the false doctrine of Dominion theology aka Dominionism, Kingdom Now, Christian Reconstructionism, Theonomy which is based on a perversion of Genesis 1:28. Dominionists believe that before Christ physically returns to the earth, Christians must implement societal change and “take dominion” of the secular world in order to transform it into the Kingdom of God. Global Legacy is part of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) and supports the "vision" to create cultural transformation via the seven mountain mandate: Media, Education, Economy, Government, Religion, Arts, and Family.

Dominion theology is NOT the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The mantra of dominionists is based on Matthew 6:10:
Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Dominionists blatantly invert the scriptures. The world cannot be redeemed.. quite the reverse in fact. Jesus was very specific in teaching that His kingdom is NOT of this world. (John 18:36 cf. Colossians 3:2; James 4:4; 1 John 2:15-17; John 15:18-21; Hebrews 11:16). The world will be in the grip of terrible rebellion and widespread religious deception when Jesus returns:

Christians are not called to transform the systems of this world from within, but rather to bear witness and to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. (Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8). ..apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5). Christians do not belong to the world, they are those who are chosen out of the world. (John 15:19;17:6). The only way dominionists can justify their ungodly agenda is to deny the scriptures in favour of "direct revelation" from God through various false "apostles" and "prophets" whom they claim have superseded Jesus' original apostles. (Acts 2:42). Are these false teachers greater than Jesus Christ? (Luke 4:18).
Bill Johnson's "off the map" approach denies the Reformation principle of sola scriptura and leaves his followers vulnerable to "every wind of doctrine". (Ephesians 4:14). These false apostles and prophets have dispossessed many believers of the precautionary mechanism to test the spirits. (1 John 4:1 cf. 1 Corinthians 12:10; 1 Thessalonians 5:2; 2 Timothy 2:15; Isaiah 9:16).

By their acquiescence and support of such events, local church leaders are exposing their congregations to very serious deception and apostasy. There will undoubtedly be terrible consequences, both for them personally and their congregations:

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. (2 Peter 2:1).

PRETRIB RAPTURE: A STAGED EVENT! BY DAVE MACPHERSON

     Can pretrib rapturists find support for their view in the stages of a Jewish wedding, as some assert?
     Every encyclopedia I checked (including the Jewish Encyclopedia) states that there are two stages in such a wedding: the "kiddushin" (betrothal) and the "nissuin" (marriage).
     Although some pretrib leaders find proof for their rapture view in Jewish wedding stages, there is widespread disagreement among them over how many stages there are.
     In his book "The End Times Passover"Joe Ortiz refers to John Walvoord's book "The Rapture Question" which accepts R. C. H. Lenski's view that a Hebrew marriage has three stages.
     Charles Monk sees 5 "customs" (stages).
     Arnold Fruchtenbaum has found 6 "steps" (stages) that Thomas Ice has appropriated.
     The ReturnToGod.com site observes 12 "steps" (stages).
     Not to be outdone, Renald Showers actually sees 17 "customs" (stages).
     (Think of all the work to boil down 17 or even 5 stages into a two-stage second coming!)
     An internet blog titled "For the Love of Truth" is representative of not a few that reveal that it's dangerous as well as unscriptural to base a pretrib rapture outlook on Jewish traditions. In an article titled "Jewish Wedding and Rapture" the same blog has some startling information:
     It says: "Jewish Wedding traditions being discussed are the rabbinic teachings found within the Talmud and Kabbalah." (Not only are these sources occultic and anti-Biblical but the Talmud is filled with lies and blasphemy about Jesus that are as irrational as they are totally evil!)
     It reveals that certain pretrib leaders "have taken snippets of the various Jewish wedding traditions" and "rearranged and reinvented the content and events and then made the declaration that the Jewish wedding tradition is really the story of Christ and the rapture...."
     It also states that "the seven blessings [during the ceremony] obviously have nothing to do with Jesus Christ or His return," adding that "Nowhere does the Bible tell us to interpret scripture by looking to man's traditions."
     Incidentally, it's well-known that pretrib rapture defenders claim that certain Bible passages are on "church" ground while other passages are on "Jewish" ground and that we should always maintain the Darby-approved "church/Israel separation" principle. However, with impunity they can jettison that principle in the twinkling of an eye if they need support for their 187-year-old novelty from occultic Jewish traditions or from Lev. 23's Jewish feasts!
     Since far too many pretrib leaders seem to be "stagestruck," and since their love affair with stages has rubbed off on me, I hereby share a personal "revelation" I've had lately that I've titled "The Seven-Stage Coming (I Thess. 4)" which proves that pretribs should be looking for a seven-stage coming and not just a measly two-stage coming:
     1 - The Lord descends.
     2 - The shout.
     3 - The archangel's voice.
     4 - The trumpet of God.
     5 - The dead rise.
     6 - The caught up (rapture).
     7 - The meeting in the air.
     Yes, seven stages. And isn't 7 supposed to be a perfect number?
     Something else. Have you noticed the unnatural language pretribs like to use? If a friend visits me, goes away for a month, and then comes back and visits me again, he never says: "I'm back for the SECOND stage of my one visit." But pretribs use wording like this when they place SEVERAL YEARS between their two stages!
     During their short history pretrib promoters have disagreed on many things in addition to the number of stages in a Jewish wedding. They have also disagreed on which Jewish feast is symbolic of a pretrib rapture, and disagreed on which symbol in the book of Revelation is the best "pretrib" symbol.
     (For 30 years Darby's basis for a pretrib rapture was Rev. 12:5's "man child" that is caught up - a verse that is presently being discussed around the world in connection with a hoped-for rapture this coming Sep. 23rd!)
     For 300 pages of the most accurate documentation anywhere on the long covered up but now revealed history of the pretrib rapture view, I invite you to obtain my book "The Rapture Plot" at Armageddon Books and other online stores. Google "Scholars Weigh My Research" to see how eminent scholars have evaluated my discoveries.
     Finally, it's apparent that pretrib teachers are experts in arithmetic - the MULTIPLYING of stages which has caused a lot of DIVIDING among Christians!

THE MOODY ERWIN LUTZER BY DAVE MACPHERSON

      Pastor Erwin Lutzer at the famous Moody Church in Chicago is an outstanding preacher. But he can be moody at times - rapture moody.
     Take July 29, 2012 for example. His "Moody Church Hour" sermon that day on "Philadelphia" (one of Revelation's seven churches) included the following:
     "It is His coming, the rapture, that would keep the church from the hour of trial [a.k.a. the great tribulation] that is coming upon the whole earth. And isn't it interesting? He does not say 'I will keep you through the hour of trial but rather I will keep you out of - that's what the text [Rev. 3:10] says - I will keep you out of the hour of trial that is coming upon the whole earth.
     "There is of course a disagreement as to whether or not we will go through the tribulation, or whether or not we will be raptured ahead of time, and we don't know all the details until it happens. But wouldn't it be wonderful if when we are going up in the sky we could look at all of those posttribbers and say with a smile 'I told you it was so'? Wouldn't that be wonderful to be able to do that?"
     The congregation immediately applauded.
     Note that Lutzer twice used the word "wonderful" when asking his audience how wonderful it would be to use spiteful pride against the only "rapture" view found in all theology books and organized churches before the year 1830: the posttribulation view!
     On the "Moody Church Hour" web site the same day (July 29) Lutzer wrote that "great benefit was derived from John Stott's book WHAT CHRIST THINKS OF THE CHURCH when these messages [on Revelation's seven churches] were prepared."
     Incredibly, the Stott that Lutzer leaned on disagrees completely with Lutzer. The same Stott book, p. 104, says this: "He would not spare them from the suffering [Rev. 3:10]; but He would uphold them in it."
     It would be wonderful if Erwin Lutzer would visit Google and type in "Famous Rapture Watchers" and "Famous Rapture Watchers (Addendum)." Not only would he spot the very same Stott quote, but in the same summaries he would also discover that all of the greatest Greek New Testament scholars of all time have uniformly viewed Rev. 3:10 (the most important "proof text" for pretribbers) as teaching "preservation through" and not "escaping beforehand"! ("Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty" is another informative Google article.)
     One wonders what will have to happen to change the Moody pastor's mood.

GREATEST HEBREW-CHRISTIAN SCHOLARS NOT PRETRIB! BY DAVE MACPHERSON

     Jews as well as Christians can cover up facts about the money-making pretrib rapture.
     I have in mind Dr. Michael Rydelnik, a widely heard voice on the Moody Radio Network who calls himself either a Hebrew-Christian or a Jewish-Christian - take your choice.
     Rydelnik just returned from another trip to Israel and couldn't wait to use his melodious radio voice to keep his listeners in their expectant state of rapturous stupor.
     In order to help shore up the worldwide collapsing of the pillar of sand known as pretrib he started off by daring to say that when the tribulation starts, the "day of the Lord" will also be happening!
     Rydelnik thus covered up the fact that neither J. N. Darby nor C. I. Scofield (D. L. Moody's colleague!) dared to stretch forward the posttrib "day of the Lord" and hook it up with their previously-stretched-forward pretrib rapture - evidence that Christian Zionists like Rydelnik can sharply disagree with earlier Zionists!
     Scofield, for example, states in his Rev. 19 notes that the same "day" is preceded by the "cosmical disturbances (Joel 2.1-12; Mt. 24.29; Acts 2.19, 20; Rev. 6.12-17)." (In Rydelnik's case, the future posttrib sun/moon darkening has been preceded by his own scholarship darkening.)
     There are historical persons that Rydelnik and other modern pretrib rapture Zionists love to cover up: eminent Hebrew-Christian scholars of the past, all of whom were NOT pretrib!
     While names like Biesenthal, Caspari, Delitzsch, Neander, Rabinowitz, and Schereschewsky are practically unknown by most Christians, the names of Baron, Edersheim, and Saphir are much more recognizable.
     David Baron ("The Visions and Prophecies of Zechariah," p. 323) wrote that Paul "spoke of 'the blessed hope and the appearing of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ' (Tit. ii.13), for then the hope as regards the church, and Israel, and the world, will be fully realised."
     Alfred Edersheim, who expected only one future coming of Christ for judgment, stated in "The Life and Times of Jesus the Messiah," Vol. II, pp. 451-2: "We shall best succeed, not by going out of the world, but by being watchful in it."
     Adolph Saphir ("The Epistle to the Hebrews," pp. 95-6) spoke of "the advent of the Messiah, which is yet in the future, to which both the believing synagogue and the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ are looking, when He is to be manifested in great power, and to be acknowledged as King of the whole earth."
     Nowadays the Mideast is constantly in the news. Some feel that Israel can do no wrong while others are convinced that Israel can do nothing right. There are pretrib teachers who even believe that Israel has a special "covenant" with God apart from the Gospel.
     And Christians are learning at the same time that a person can disagree with Mideast policies without being viewed as anti-Semitic or hateful.
     Finally, Google "Pretrib Rapture: A Staged Event," "Pretrib Rapture Stealth" and "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty."

"ISRAEL ARE NOT THE CHILDREN OF GOD" SAYS JACOB PRASCH OF MORIEL MINISTRIES!

I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Do not withhold; bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the end of the earth.. (Isaiah 43:6).

2017 09 03 Jacob Prasch "The Broken Cistern"
https://livestream.com/ColumbusBibleProphecyConf/events/3775374/videos/162253277

Jacob Prasch: "Most Christians don't get this: The Jews are the people of God, believers are the children of God. The Jews can be a child, but most of them are not, they are the people of God."

When bible teachers make statements like: "You do not understand", without actually teaching any specifics, they raise a red flag!

I am not quite sure why Prasch makes this particular statement, other than the fact that it may diminish his hearers understanding of God's relationship to Israel at the present time. It is very remiss that he should make throw away comments about God's relationship to Israel without explanation. It is no light matter to superimpose ones own views onto the scriptures, but he does keep doing it! A little leaven leavens the whole lump. (Matthew 13:33; 1 Corinthians 5:6; Galatians 5:9).

The sonship of Israel permeates the bible, and yet Prasch dares to redefine it!
Israel are referred to as God's sons/children in the following Old Testament verses:
Exodus 4:22; Deuteronomy 14:1; Hosea 11:1; 31:20; Psalm 82:6; Psalm 73:15.
Thus says the LORD, Israel is my firstborn son. (Exodus 4:22 cf. Romans 9:4).
Jesus Christ's sojourn in Egypt is given as a parallel and ultimate fulfilment of the Exodus led by Moses: Out of Israel I called my Son. (Matthew 2:15; Hosea 11:1).
Isaiah 43:6 in particular defines the Jews returning to the land of Israel as "sons and daughters". There are various reasons why this verse refers to the eschatological recovery of the Jewish people a second time. (Isaiah 11:11-12). The first "regathering" of the Jews occurred when they returned from the Babylonian and Assyrian exile. (Isaiah 10:20-27; 44:26-45:8). {1}
Note: "rebellious/faithless children" (Isaiah 30:1,9; 57:4; Jeremiah 3:14-22).

God is specifically called the Father of the nation of Israel in Deuteronomy 32:6; Isaiah 63:16, 64:8; Jeremiah 3:4,19, 31:9; Malachi 1:6, 2:10.
Do you thus repay the LORD, you foolish and senseless people? Is not he your father, who created you, who made you and established you? (Deuteronomy 32:6). The King James version has: ..is not he thy father that hath bought thee? The Hebrew verb is qanah  (kaw-naw') = to erect, i.e. create; by extension, to procure, especially by purchase (causatively, sell); by implication to own. {2}
Elliott's Commentary: "The first line is an exclamatory question. A question and an exclamation have the same name in the Rabbinical writings. 'Hath gotten' in the third line is the same expression which Eve used (in Genesis 4:1) at the birth of Cain, and occurs also in that magnificent saying in the history of Wisdom, Proverbs 8:22, “'The Lord begat me (as) the beginning of his way.'” {3}

Israel are also referred to historically as  the sons/children of Abraham, the children of Israel, the Daughter Zion, God’s chosen people..

The Pharisees who were hostile to Jesus took their position as God's children as read : We have one Father—even God. (John 8:41). Jesus did not correct them in terms of their concept of "sonship", but rather, He questioned their true loyalties: “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. (John 8:42). Consequently, they were rejected as "children of God," and identified by Jesus as: "children of your father the devil". (John 8:44). For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel.. (Romans 9:6).

Was the prodigal son any less a son even though he was as good as "dead" so to speak? ..for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found. (Luke 15:11-24). I would not presume to apply the parable of the prodigal son only to the Jews, but there is much in it that equates with the present position of the Jewish remnant yet to be saved. For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? (Romans 11:15).

Israel's relationship with God has been temporarily suspended, although from God's eternal standpoint, it seems evident that He does regard them as "sons".  Even in wordly terms, an estranged relation is still a relation.. for instance, an estranged wife is still a "wife". Israel's temporary estrangement is a controversial subject for those Zionists who blindly accept everything about the modern state of Israel, especially those who insist that Jews do not need the gospel. At its core, this lie of the devil, has, I believe, sprung from the Vatican's distortion of Romans 11:28-29: "In concrete terms this means that the Catholic Church neither conducts nor supports any specific institutional mission work directed towards Jews." {4}

The Jewish people, for the most part, are presently intensely hostile to their true Messiah and are being gathered in unbelief; they have "no breath in them". (Ezekiel 37:7-8). I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land. (THEN) I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleanness, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 36:24-26). Verse 25: The KJV and the NAS begins "Then".

Under the Law of Return, Jews have the right to make Aliyah; that is, they have the right to live in Israel and to gain Israeli citizenship no matter what political, religious or personal views they may hold. However an exclusion applies! Messianic Jews are denied Israeli citizenship if they answer in the affirmative to the question: “Have you ever been a Messianic Jew or have you ever believed in Yeshua as Messiah?” Furthermore, it is possible for a Gentile to convert to Judaism, but such a conversion absolutely necessitates the awful sin of denying Jesus Christ. Ivanka Trump, a former Presbyterian, underwent the process converting to Orthodox Judaism in 2009, presumably as a condition of her marriage to Jewish husband Jared Kushner. (Matthew 10:33). "She describes her conversion as an 'amazing and beautiful journey which her father supported 'from day one', adding that he has "tremendous respect" for the Jewish religion." {5} For those who class Donald Trump as a Christian, it is simply unspeakable that a true Christian would support their own child in denying Jesus Christ!

The establishment of the State of Israel on May 14th 1948 was a major prophetic event. Scripturally there is a future prophetic purpose for Israel, and they are loved on account of the patriarchs: As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. (Romans 11:28-29 cf. Romans 9:5).

Gill's Exposition: "..but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes; as many of them as belong to the election of grace, are beloved of God; and will appear to be so, when they are called by grace, as they will be, for the confirming of the promises concerning their future restoration made unto their fathers; not one of which shall ever fall to the ground, or they be deprived of any gifts and blessings of grace, which God has purposed for them, or promised to them.." {6}

But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree, do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you. Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off. And even they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again. For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree. (Romans 11:17-24).

I ask, then, has God rejected (his) people (λαὸν)? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin. has not rejected (his) people whom he foreknew.(Romans 11:1-2).

A number of scriptures refer to the Jews temporary estrangement in terms of future of reconciliation.. They will be "my people":

But I will save them from all the backslidings in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God... reiterated in v 27.  (Ezekiel 11:20, 27).
And I will be their God, and they will be My people. (Hebrews 8:10).
I will give them a heart to know that I am the LORD, and they shall be my people and I will be their God, for they shall return to me with their whole heart. (Jeremiah 24:7).

In the New Testament, believers are identified in identical terms as the Jews i.e. as both "children/sons" and "the people of God".

Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. (1 Peter 2:10).

“Those who were not my people I will call ‘my people,’ and her who was not beloved I will call ‘beloved.’” (Romans 9:25).

"The 'olive-tree, wild by nature' ( Romans 11:24 ), is the shoot or cutting of the good olive-tree which, left ungrafted, grows up to be a 'wild olive.' In Romans 11:17 Paul refers to the practice of grafting shoots of the wild olive into a 'good"'olive which has become unfruitful. By such a process the sap of the good olive, by pervading the branch which is 'graffed in,' makes it a good branch, bearing good olives. Thus the Gentiles, being a 'wild olive,' but now 'graffed in,' yield fruit, but only through the sap of the tree into which they have been grafted. This is a process 'contrary to nature' ( 11:24 ). {7}

As demonstrated above, both the Old and New Testament applies the term "children of God", "sons of God" and "people of God", to both Jews and Christians. Arguments, or in this case "opinions" from the silence of the scriptures are usually tenuous. God has not changed his mind about Israel's sonship: For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed. (Malachi 3:6). ..with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. (James 1:17 cf. Romans 11:29). Perhaps Jacob Prasch would explain what he means exactly by "Jews are the people of God, believers are the children of God", so that we can examine the scriptures to see if these things are so? (Acts 17:11).

Many concerns about Prasch's Intra-Seal rapture theory also remain outstanding. Perhaps he would also address the various questions I have raised on this subject? {8} The question of his endorsement of ecumenical "prophets" David Noakes and Clifford Hill has never been addressed either! {9}.

I find a very weak mind-set amongst those who are resolved to "follow" Jacob Prasch irrespective of the scriptures. It reminds me of the unquestioning but misplaced trust of those unfortunate Christians who follow the more obvious false teachers. There are some Christians who continue to support Prasch despite serious concerns about his extra-biblical teachings. They are unwilling to test the spirits or to question anything he teaches. (1 John 4:1 cf. 2 Corinthians 11:4). Exactly the same rule applies to Jacob Prasch as to any other teacher. If what he says does not line up with the scriptures, then he is a false teacher.. unless of course he can prove otherwise?

But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ. (2 Corinthians 11:3 cf. Genesis 3:1).

PRETRIB RAPTURE DIEHARDS! BY DAVE MACPHERSON

       Since the 1970's stunning new data has been surfacing about the pretribulation rapture's long-covered-up beginnings in the 1800's. In recent years several persons associated with Dallas Theological Seminary (which has long been pretribized) have reportedly gone to Britain to check on my research sources and then write books opposing my claims. In 1990 an Ohio pastor told me that Dr. _____ _____, the most qualified DTS prof, traveled there and came back and wrote nothing! The pastor added that he and some others had a good laugh. But change was coming. In 1993 Chuck Swindoll, who became DTS president after John Walvoord, stated: "I'm not sure we're going to make dispensationalism [the chief attraction of which is a pretrib rapture] a part of our marquee as we talk about our school." When asked if the word "dispensationalism" would disappear, he answered: "It may and perhaps it should" ("Christianity Today," Oct. 25, 1993)! But a few diehards (with the stubbornness of Iraqi insurgents and New Orleans looters) keep on milking their cash cow while continuing to cover up and twist the following historical facts about their latter-day, cult-like belief:
     1825: British preacher Edward Irving revealed that he had been teaching some of dispensationalism's key aspects as early as late 1825. (John Darby-exalter R. A. Huebner has never even claimed to find any original prophetic idea in Darby before late 1826!)
     1827-1830: Darby was still posttrib during these years. His 1827 paper had him waiting for only the posttrib "restitution of all things." After discussing in 1828 the "unity" of the church, he looked for only the Rev. 19 coming in 1829 and 1830.
     1830: During the spring a young woman in Scotland, Margaret Macdonald, declared that she had discovered in the Bible what had never been seen by others: a rapture of "church" members described as a "pre-Antichrist" (or pretrib) event. Her words: "one taken and the other left" before "THE WICKED [Antichrist] be revealed." She was a partial rapturist seeing only part of the "church" raptured and the rest of the "church" left on earth. When she wrote that the "trial of the Church is from Antichrist," she meant the part of the church not included in her pretrib rapture. Leading partial rapturists including Pember and Govett have always applied the word "church" to the ones "left behind." Robert Norton, Irvingite historian and on-scene witness of Margaret's utterances, wrote that Margaret was the "first" to privately teach pretrib. (For more on her, Google "Margaret Macdonald's Rapture Chart" and "Margaret Macdonald's Main Point.")
     A September article in "The Morning Watch" (Irvingite journal) saw the "Philadelphia" church raptured before a "period of great tribulation" and the "Laodicea" church left on earth. Huebner's "Precious Truths" claimed that Philadelphia was seen raptured before only the "seventh vial" and not before "the great tribulation" even though the article writer added twice on following pages that this "period" was indeed "the great tribulation"! In the previous (June) issue the same writer had seen Philadelphia on earth until the final posttrib advent. In between these two issues, TMW writers had visited Margaret who explained her new "revelation" which was soon reflected on TMW pages without giving her credit!
     In December a published article by Darby was still defending the posttrib view!
     1833: British lawyer Robert Baxter, an ex-Irvingite, wrote that the pretrib "delusion first appeared in Scotland" before it began to be taught in London the following year.
     1834: A Darby letter referred to the new pretrib rapture view, stated that "the thoughts are new," and advocated the subtle introduction of it by writing "it would not be well to have it so clear"! Darby also called it the "new wine." Others who knew that pretrib was then a new view included other Plymouth Brethren, Irvingites, Margaret, and later 19th century historians such as Margaret Oliphant who referred to "a new revelation" in 1830 in western Scotland where Margaret Macdonald lived.
     1837: Years after Darby supposedly had derived a distinction (or separation) between the "church" and "Israel," his 1837 article saw the church "going in with Him to the marriage, to wit, with Jerusalem and the Jews"!
     1839: The first year Darby was clearly pretrib. His pretrib basis then (and during the next three decades) was Rev. 12:5's "man child" that is "caught up." But this "new" Darby teaching was actually a plagiarism of Edward Irving who had been using this verse for the same (pretrib) purpose since 1831! (For more on Darby, Google "Edward Irving vs. John Darby" and "Pretrib Was New in the 1830s.")
     1843: In a letter written from Switzerland, Darby referred to "the dissemination of truth and blessing...thus spreading on the right hand and on the left, without knowing whence it came or how it sprung up all of a sudden...." Here he gloated that others didn't know "whence" pretrib came or that he had advocated the subtle sneaking of the new pretrib view into existing groups (see "1834" above)!
     1853: Darby's book "The Irrationalism of Infidelity" recalled his visit to Margaret Macdonald and her brothers in mid-1830. He remembered 23 minor details but carefully omitted the most important one: Margaret's teaching of a coming of Christ that would exempt believers from the great tribulation "judgments"----a detail that all others who visited her and then wrote accounts could easily remember! (It's obvious that Todd Strandberg's mother didn't soap his mouth enough because even though he knows better after the airing of "Open Letter to Todd Strandberg" on the internet, his falsehood-packed "Margaret MacDonald Who?" article on his "Rapture Ready" site continues to pollute minds by stating that I "have never been able to prove that Darby had ever heard of MacDonald or her vision"!)
     1855: An article by eminent Brethren scholar S. P. Tregelles tied "Judaisers" to pretrib. But in an 1864 book he tied "Irving's Church" to pretrib. Both Huebner and Walvoord claimed that Tregelles contradicted himself, and Huebner charged Tregelles with "untruth and slander." But even William Kelly, Darby's editor, saw no contradiction and wrote, concerning "Judaising," that "nowhere is this so patent as in Irvingism"!
     1861: Robert Norton, medical doctor and Irvingite, wrote that the "true origin" of pretrib had been "hidden and misrepresented." (This was about the time that Kelly was working towards the goal of elevating Darby and giving the false impression that Darby should be credited with the pretrib view.) Several pages later, in the same book, Norton revealed Margaret as the true originator of pretrib.
     1863: In his "Five Letters" leading Brethren scholar Tregelles wrote that some Brethren had been unscrupulously issuing tracts by the thousands in which they changed the "words and doctrines" of "the Reformers and others" to give the impression that those ancient writers had actually been teaching the novel doctrines that some Darbyist Brethren were then circulating in the 1800's!
     1864: Brethren scholar Tregelles charged fellow Brethren with changing even the words in ancient hymns: "Sometimes from a hymn being altered, writers appear to set forth a secret rapture of which they had never heard, or against which they have protested." I should add that in an 1865 letter Darby asked his editor to preserve the newer (pretrib) hymns and "correct the others," that is, the older (posttrib) ones!
     1860's: From the 1860's to the 1880's William Kelly, editor of Darby's works, was busy putting together some volumes known as "The Collected Writings of J. N. Darby." Opposition to Darbyism had been increasing and Kelly was determined to fight it and continue to exalt Darby. His goal was to present a Darby that was prophetically "mature" long before he actually matured. He achieved this dishonesty with misleading words in brackets inside sentences in Darby's early works, and with footnotes that he "borrowed" from Darby's much later works when he was obviously more developed! Darby even gave this deviousness his blessing. In an 1865 letter to Kelly he wrote: "I should think that some of the Notes would require some revising....Even the sermons contain things I should not accept...." Kelly even flaunted his shameful manipulation in a footnote to Darby's 1830 article; the note said that "it was not worth while either suppressing or changing it."
     Interestingly, since the Irvingites were clear (and clearly first) when it came to public pretrib teaching, they didn't need later "fixers" to dishonestly correct their original statements!
     1872: In an article in "The Princeton Review," Thomas Croskery of Ireland listed beliefs of the Plymouth Brethren including these: "That the moral law is of no use at all to believers" and "that believers have nothing to do in the way of keeping themselves from sin for God must look to them if He will...." He said that "Mr. Darby" pursues his opponents"with a virulence that has no parallel in the history of religious controversy."
     1877: A medical doctor, James Carson, wrote that "the Darbyites have managed to cloak their opinions by using language in a Jesuitical sense...." He added: "Unless a person makes himself properly acquainted with the opinions" of Darbyites and argues "with the utmost precision on every point...it is impossible to manage such wily and slippery customers."
     1879: A later work by Thomas Croskery declared that "Brethrenite doctrine...clearly tends to immorality." He then quoted Darby's editor, William Kelly, who stated: "I am no longer, as a Christian man, having to do with the responsibility that attaches to mortal man, but am passed now into a new state, even while I am in the world." Rev. Frederick Whitfield spoke of "the flagrant immoralities among the Plymouth Brethren" while James Grant commented: "Darbyism is the most selfish religious system with which I am acquainted."
     1880: William Reid's work on Brethrenism revealed that "no other sect was, perhaps, ever so fruitful of divisions" and referred to "the novel doctrines propounded by some of its leaders." He quoted Lord Congleton, a leading Brethren member, who asked: "Have you tried these Brethren
----the Darbyites?....They are false in what they say of their brethren, they are false in doctrine, and they are false in their walk."
     And Henry Craik, a colleague of George Muller, was also quoted: "The truth is, Brethrenism as such, is broken to pieces. By pretending to be wiser, holier, more spiritual, more enlightened, than all other Christians; by rash and unprofitable intrusions into things not revealed; by making mysticism and eccentricity the test of spiritual life and depth; by preferring a dreamy and imaginative theology to the solid food of the Word of God...." (Leading Brethren scholar Harold Rowdon's 1967 book "The Origins of the Brethren," p. 253, quoted earlier Brethren member Lord Congleton who was "disgusted with...the falseness" of Darby's narratives. Rowdon also quoted a historian of the Brethren, W. B. Neatby, who wrote that "the time-honoured method of single combat" was as good a method as any "to elicit the truth" from Darby!)
     1880's: In 1880, a year after his Christian conversion, C. I. Scofield was in the St. Louis jail for forgery because he'd stolen his mother-in-law's life savings in a real estate scam. In 1883 his first wife divorced him (for desertion) and he remarried three months later. Although he had no formal theological training, he began putting a non-conferred "D.D." after his name in the 1890's. In 1899, when he preached D. L. Moody's funeral sermon, he still owed thousands of dollars that he had stolen from acquaintances 20 years earlier. (In 1921 he advised his daughter, who then had financial problems, to pray to an ancient Catholic saint; at the same time his Scofield Bible, p. 1346, was predicting a future reign of "apostate Christendom, headed up under the Papacy"!)
     1889: Aware that for 60 years the leading historians----whether Brethren or Irvingite----had been crediting someone in Irving's circle (and not Darby's circle!) with the pretrib rapture, Darby's editor William Kelly embarked on a sinister plan to discredit the Irvingites (and their female inspiration) and belatedly (and falsely) give credit for pretrib to Darby. He achieved this in 1889-1890 in a series of articles in his own British journal while analyzing the Irvingites in a supposedly fair and honest manner. Let's see a few of the many examples of his clever dishonesty:
     When quoting early Irvingites like Baxter and Norton, Kelly would consistently skip over their clear pretrib teaching but quote just before and after it! And he was a change artist. When Irvingites would write about their pretrib "rapture," Kelly loved to water it down into only their belief in the "Second Coming"! If the Irvingites expressed their belief in an imminent pretrib catching up, Kelly revised it into their "constantly to be expected Lord"! When Irving's followers hoped to escape, by rapture, the coming "tribulation," their "tribulation" was changed by Kelly into only "corrupt or apostate evils"! My 300-page book "The Rapture Plot" has 16 pages (!) of glaring specimens of short quotes exhibiting Kelly's shameful revisions of Irvingite doctrine!
     1918: A prophetic book by E. P. Cachemaille discussed the pretrib origin, tied it to the 1830's, then added: "There has since been much scheming to give the doctrine a reputable origin, scheming by those who did not know the original facts, not being contemporaries of Dr. Tregelles."
     1942: Noted prophecy teacher H. A. Ironside, who had a Brethren background, dared to assert, minus evidence, that what early Brethren taught re the rapture was "so contrary" to what the Irvingites had been teaching, adding that no links had existed between the two groups!
     1960: After mentioning that the claim that Darby originated pretrib "is certainly open to question," evangelical scholar Clarence Bass wrote: "More probably, however, its origin can be traced through the Irvingite movement." But he failed to elaborate, evidently aware that he would be opening a can of you-know-what!
     1973: Darby worshiper R. A. Huebner wrote that "The Irvingites (1828-1834) never held the pretribulation rapture or any 'any-moment' views." He was aware that many couldn't know how close he had repeatedly come to clear pretrib teaching by Irvingites and then had covered up everything while using the same devious tactics his inspiration William Kelly had used a century earlier while analyzing the same Irvingites!
     My "Plot" book has a 31-page chapter of many quotes from the earliest Irvingites showing that they repeatedly and clearly taught pretrib as well as imminence. For example, in 1832 the Irvingite journal said that "some" will be "left in the great tribulation...after the translation of the saints." We've already seen clear pretribism in the Sep., 1830 issue of the Irvingite journal. It's bad enough that Huebner (who never attended seminary, college, or even Bible school) has mind-poisoned his tiny circle of Darby-idolizers, but disastrous that pretrib leaders like Walvoord, Ryrie, LaHaye, and Ice were apparently "too busy" to check Huebner's sources and later on too proud to admit they'd been taken in by him!
     The parallels between Huebner and his two inspirations, Darby and Kelly, are astounding. Like them, he easily applies "demon" to opponents and their beliefs. Like them, he exaggerates and even purposely muddies up Darby's earliest pretrib development and Darby's later reminiscences. And like them, he can deftly dance around pretrib "cobras" in Irvingism (and its female inspiration) without getting bitten! In his 1973 book, Huebner had 95 copying errors when quoting others including pretrib leaders! (For more shocks on the internet, type in "Humbug Huebner.")
     1989: Thomas Ice, one of the biggest pretrib diehards, doesn't have favorites when he discusses the pretrib origin; he can use deviousness as well as sloppiness. When he reproduced Margaret's short "revelation" account he somehow left out 49 words! As if his carelessness wasn't bad enough, his reproduction also included four distinctive errors that Hal Lindsey had made in his own reproduction of it in 1983----what Ice chose to do instead of going to the original 19th century sources! (See my internet piece "Thomas Ice - Hired Gun" if you are shockproof.)
     1990: A year after his "rapture" of 49 words from Margaret's handwritten "revelation" account, Ice was elevated all the way up to Dallas Seminary's journal which published his article on pretrib history. In it he had some copying errors when quoting John Bray, Huebner, and Walvoord. Even worse, when he quoted the same Margaret Macdonald account, he skipped right over what he knew was her main point (a catching up of church members just before the Antichrist is revealed) even though he quoted shortly before and after it! And when quoting present-day Brethren scholar Harold Rowdon, he used an ellipsis to cover up Rowdon's evidence in his 1967 book that Irvingite development preceded  Darby's!
     1991: After many objective, no-axe-to-grind scholars had publicly endorsed my research (which emphasized Margaret, the Irvingites, and 1830), R. A. Huebner, aware of the same objective scholarship and determined to negate it, came out with a book in which he claimed to find Darby teaching pretrib in 1827----that is, three years before Margaret etc. But halfway through his book (which had more than 250 copying errors!), he admitted that his 1827 "proof" could refer to something completely different! Nevertheless, diehard Thomas Ice, after admitting to me that he was indeed aware of Huebner's change, continues to declare publicly that Huebner's 1991 book "proves" that Darby was pretrib as early as 1827!
     1992: When Tim LaHaye's "No Fear of the Storm" reproduced Margaret's short account, he "left behind" 49 words----the same 49 words that Ice had left out in 1989! In the same book LaHaye made 84 other copying errors when discussing pretrib beginnings! Although he had a whole chapter focusing on my origin research, un-scholar LaHaye didn't list any of my books in footnotes or bibliography which kept readers from being able to find out what I had actually written! And LaHaye based his analysis on inaccurate secondhand  sources and also made many copying errors when quoting them.
     For many years Tim and Beverly LaHaye's "conservative" organizations have raked in millions of dollars while telling folks to vote for only "moral" political candidates, and while appearing to be very pro-family and anti-gay. What they haven't revealed is that their son Lee LaHaye has long been the Chief Financial Officer of Concerned Women for America and that Lee is openly gay ! Can we be sure that "Left Behind" Tim isn't just as hypocritical with his pro-pretrib stance? (If you're man or woman enough, warm up your computer and type in "Pretrib Hypocrisy," "LaHaye's Temperament," "Tim LaHaye's gay son," "God to Same-Sexers: Hurry Up," and "Thieves' Marketing"----for starters!)
     2005: In the August "Pre-Trib Perspectives" Thomas Ice again had the audacity to claim that the late Prof. Paul Alexander saw a "pretribulational translation" in Pseudo-Ephraem's now famous Medieval sermon. But Ice has known since 1995 that Alexander's 1985 book has textual as well as outline summaries of P-E's chronological order of endtime events----both summaries showing only one final coming of Christ that follows the great tribulation and not even a hint of a pretrib coming in either summary! Is it possible that Ice knows more than the professor whose book somehow inspired one of the desperate pretrib diehards? As Eph. 4:14 puts it, Ice knows how to "lie in wait to deceive." And lie and lie!
     (See my internet papers "Deceiving and Being Deceived" and "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty" and discover the calculated dishonesty in the Pseudo-Ephraem and Morgan Edwards claims plus other dishonesty including massive plagiarism in some of today's leading pretrib diehards! Type in my name and see all of my internet items. Since Thomas Ice is associated with the Pre-Trib Research Center which has its own site, you may feel inspired to write him and ask him some blunt questions, and even send him a copy of this paper.)
     PS - You can win $1000.00 if you can prove that I have ever covered up or watered down any crucial aspect of pretrib rapture history! If you would like to obtain my book "The Rapture Plot" which has all of the facts of the long-covered-up-but-now-revealed history of the 187-year-old pretrib rapture view, you can order it from online bookstores like Armageddon Books.
