DAVID NATHAN THROWN UNDER THE BUS BY JACOB PRASCH MORIEL MINISTRIES!

David Nathan (Bread of Life Ministries) has recently been ousted from his position of South African Administrator of Moriel Ministries in the most callous and unchristian manner! The reasons given by Jacob Prasch and his associate Marco Quintana (Moriel USA) are based on what can only be described as various pretexts.

Prasch: "* David's teaching on this video that 'no one will be Born Again after the rapture' is directly contradictory to Revelation 14:6. The Gospel being preached via angelic agency from midheaven at that time of God's wrath being released concurrent with the rapture is defined in that text as a Gospel that is 'Eternal' (eugalion aonion eugalesai). The Gospel of repentance, faith, and salvation will be preached and it is an 'eternal' message of salvation. Eternity is an all-encompassing term in both Greek and English and includes the Millennium. David Nathan's forceful assertions in this regard and the teaching of the plain meaning of text are mutually exclusive. " The full text can be read on the following link: https://www.facebook.com/MorielTV/

As always with Prasch, the devil is quite literally in the detail! God's wrath is not "concurrent" with the rapture! Revelation 7:9-13 refers to the rapture: ..a great multitude from every nation coming out of the great tribulation. This event is followed by opening of the seventh seal: When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. (Revelation 8:1). There is therefore a definite pause between the rapture of the church and the outpouring of God's wrath. In other words, the events are consecutive but asynchronous. The "eternal gospel" given by the angel is preached immediately prior to the rapture of the church, not during the Day of the Lord (the period of God's wrath). The first angel of Revelation 14:7 said: "The hour of his judgement has come.." (has come = ἦλθεν prophetic aorist) i.e. judgement is at hand/impending/imminent. Those who take the mark of the beast will not be saved. (Revelation 14:10-11 cf. Daniel 7:9-10, Daniel 7:14, Daniel 7:26-27; Revelation 11:15). The eternal gospel proclaimed by the angel in Revelation 14:6 is the final appeal to unbelievers before the wrath of God is executed on the beast and on those who worship him. As such there will be NO TESTIMONY/GOSPEL available to people during the Day of the Lord. As Prasch points out, the gospel is "eternal". However, it appears that this particular group of people have utterly rejected the eternal unalterable truth of the gospel, and that their opportunity to receive eternal salvation has come to an end. This is further confirmed in Revelation 16, the passage that refers specifically to the bowls of wrath:

The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory. (Revelation 16:8-9).

The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguish and cursed the God of heaven for their pain and sores. They did not repent of their deeds. (Revelation 16:10-11).

The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts. (Revelation 9:20-21).

"The rest of mankind" seems to be an inclusive statement that does not allow for exceptions.

Revelation 14:6-20:

6Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people. 7And he said with a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.”
8Another angel, a second, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who made all nations drink the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality.”
9And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10he also will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”
12Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.
13And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”
14Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.” 16So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was reaped.
17Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. 18And another angel came out from the altar, the angel who has authority over the fire, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, “Put in your sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe.” 19So the angel swung his sickle across the earth and gathered the grape harvest of the earth and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as a horse’s bridle, for 1,600 stadia.

Revelation 14:14-16 Pictures the Rapture

Alan Kurschner: "When Christ comes again, there are several events that will happen in conjunction with His second coming. One of them is the resurrection of the righteous dead, along with the translation of all living saints. Many people refer to this as the rapture of the church. These believers will not have to experience death because they will receive their incorruptible bodies in a moment in the twinkling of an eye, see I Corinthians 15:51-55. Many people believe that I Thessalonians 4:13-18 is the only passage that speaks of the rapture of the church. This is not true. There are several and Revelation 14:14-16 is one of them. The word 'rapture' does not appear there, but neither does it appear in I Thessalonians 4:13-18.. {1}

Alan Kurschner believes that both Gentiles and Jews will populate the millennial kingdom. He argues that the sheep/goats judgement suggests a remnant of Gentiles. (Matthew 25:31-46). {2} It is difficult to know who these Gentiles are, given that it appears none will repent during the period of God's wrath (?) The argument that the people who give glory to God after the great earthquake in Revelation 11 will also populate the millennium is tenuous. As previously stated, the two witnesses are raised from the dead before the wrath of God is poured out and the great earthquake occurs at the very same hour. It follows that if these people are saved at that point in time, they will be included in the rapture (?) (Revelation 11:11-13).

I have had no previous affinity with David Nathan due to his association with Prasch/Moriel, and I now consider his teaching, as far as possible, from an unbiased perspective. I find that I can agree with David Nathan up to the point where the scriptures indicate that people will not be saved after the rapture of the church during the period of God's wrath. His theory that there will be no salvation during the millennial reign is difficult however and it does undermine the gospel. To be fair, David Nathan was at pains to repeat more than once in his video concerning the millennium that that this is his theory. {3}

How does David Nathan's millennium theory compare with the wild speculations of Jacob Prasch, who teaches his dangerous speculations about the rapture, "intra-seal", as fact? Intra-seal is entirely unreliable and full of errors!

Jacob Prasch seems to have backtracked somewhat - he is very good at changing the goalposts and taking down his previous videos! Apparently the period of the tribulation is not seven years as he previously insisted, he now says it is 3.5 years! {4}.

Prasch teaches that there will be no conviction of sin and no more grace during the entire seventieth week of Daniel! He also states that the Holy Spirit will be taken from the world, but not from believers, and that the gospel will not be preached during this entire seven year period. {5} How can this possibly be the case when the scriptures teach that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin (John 16:8), and that sinners are actually saved through grace? (Ephesians 2:8). Incidentally, this version of intra-seal contradicts what Prasch wrote in his book Shadows of the Beast page 450 in which he states that grace will come to an end during the "Day of the Lord". {6}

Below is one of Prasch's verbatim rants explaining what happens during the first 3.5 years of his fictional seven year tribulation:

The First 3 1/2 Years Of Tribulation-James Jacob Prasch-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_qwUKA5oUs

"During this three and a half year period, the two witnesses, one of them obviously, if not both, of them, in the spirit of Elijah will be operating. It is going to be very different however from what it is now. Grace has come to an end.. It will not be a period of grace, and the church as such will not exist, believers will, but not the church. It will also be a time of increasing pressure on the church with persecution.. It is not the wrath of God but the tribulation of Satan. This time of three and a half years is the thlipsis, the tribulation..  The first three and a half years will be ?? when the Antichrist will be manifested and the elect will know who he is. The faithful church will know who he is and know what to do about him. The two witnesses will become active at this time... that is what is going to be taking place during this period..  He (the Holy Spirit) will cease restraining the power of Satan.. The gospel as we know it will not be preached at that time. What will be preached is the gospel of the kingdom.. {7}

There are multiple problems with the above eisegesis!

*The Book of Revelation gives us precise information regarding the death of the two witnesses and the time period they will minister. (Revelation 11:1-14). The two witnesses die and are resurrected during the second woe i.e. after the sixth trumpet is blown (Revelation 11:14). This confirms that they will prophesy for 1,260 days during the second half of the 70th week. Their death occurs just before the seventh trumpet is blown i.e. just prior to the Day of the Lord when the bowls of God's wrath will be released. (Revelation 9:12-13; 11:7). Prasch teaches the two witnesses arrival during the first half of the 70th week with "the gospel of the kingdom". This directly contradicts the timing of the two witnesses arrival as recorded in the scriptures. The gospel of the kingdom is the gospel of Jesus Christ.. there are not two gospels! Prasch's alternative gospel, supposedly given by the two witnesses at the wrong time is completely defective! (2 Corinthians 11:4).
*The Antichrist will be a political figure, but he will be incognito until the mid point of the week when he is "revealed". (2 Thessalonians 2:3).
*The tribulation begins after the Antichrist is revealed i.e. the beginning of the second half of the week.
*The "restrainer" of 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 is not identified in the scriptures. The idea that the "restrainer" is the Holy Spirit originated with John Nelson Darby. However there are good reasons to believe that the "restrainer" is in fact the Archangel Michael.

*Various scriptures talk about "the word of their testimony" i.e. the testimony of believers. What precisely is "the word of their testimony" IF IT IS NOT THE GOSPEL?

And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. (Revelation 12:11).

And when the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony they had upheld. (Revelation  6:9; cf. Revelation 7:9-14).

Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. (Revelation 20:4).

It is extremely suspicious that Moriel has thrown David Nathan under the bus for "serious doctrinal reasons", even more so since Prasch endorses ecumenical "prophet" David Noakes. Noakes will be a joint speaker with Prasch at Moriel's Scottish Conference! Jacob Prasch & David Noakes Moriel Conference 2018! Ecumenism by Stealth? {8}

The fruit of Moriel Ministries

Below are some comments from the Moriel TV Facebook post. I understand that some of them have now been deleted!

*This is just as I feared, the fruit from Jacob Prasch/Moriel Ministries is confusion and discouragement! I believe that this exposure is a judgement upon Jacob Prasch and I am praying that the tide will finally turn and that believers will stop looking to men. All things work together for good...… God will bring good out of this awful situation.

*there are now many followers who now are having trouble discerning truth from either side...

*I already came out of churches who were into NAR and all the crazy stuff and thought I found a safe place from heresy and false teachings. This is all so troublesome and discouraging to me.

*This was all because we trusted Moriel. We have held them in too high of regard I suppose. This makes me want to not even listen to anyone, maybe just old teachings from David Wilkerson. I know we are supposed to be good Bereans and search for ourselves but the word says we are given teachers, apostles, pastors, and evangelist for the building up of the Saints. It’s scriptural. And yet in this season of spiritual famine and the sea of hirelings not even the pastors of the remnant church are above reproach

*A panel discussion would have been so helpful, and if they put it out on video I think this whole fiasco could have been avoided. As you said there is so much confusion, many don’t even know where to start wading through countless videos and statements. And why all of a sudden? It makes people not want to trust either ministry. Heartbreaking

*Moriel TV: I was introduced to David Nathan, so to speak, by you and have grown to love both of your ministries. I thought I was in a safe environment where I could learn from sound bible teachers and now this has all come up and brought me much confusion and disappointment. I am more disappointed in Moriel Ministries than anyone else because I would have thought you prayerfully sought the Lord and checked out David Nathan before inviting him to be part of your ministry. Now that I've grown to love David Nathan you tell me some of his teaching is heretical after I already recommended him to my family and friends. Just makes me want to stay away from all bible teachers completely and never recommend any ministry again as I don't know who is correct anymore. This all is very hurtful and damaging to the Body of Christ of which I am only one small member.
*Another concern that I have is the Admin of Moriel because many have said that they were blocked from Moriel TV after voicing their concern about this particular issue. Are we really sure that it was Jacob who wrote that post or instructed the brother doing the Admin to write the response and block some folks challenging their message?
{9}

David Nathan addresses Prasch as a "brother" in his response below. In contrast, I am in some doubt about Prasch's spiritual condition due to his revisions to the book of Revelation (Revelation 22:18-19), his various false teachings, his habit of verbally abusing anyone who questions him and various other questionable things that I am aware of. As such my posts about Prasch/Moriel are from a very different perspective to that of David Nathan. They are specifically aimed at exposing a very dangerous false teacher, all the more so because he has hoodwinked a significant part of the remnant church. (Ephesians 5:11).

David Nathan 3 September at 12:37

"Dear Jacob, David and Marco It is my prayerful desire to respond to your letter of dismissal and numerous posts on social media both by yourselves, Moriel personnel and supporters in a way that both honours our Lord and holds true to the conduct required of believers whilst adequately addressing your numerous accusations regarding my doctrine. With the exception of my understanding regarding salvation during messthe Millennium, not once have any of you or for that matter any Moriel administrator, ever expressed concern regarding my doctrine. On the contrary, you have repeatedly asked me to minister either at your conferences Jacob or in the case of Marco, at Community Church of Devore, not to mention the very positive feedback I received from both Margaret Godwin and Pierre Mosley regarding my ministry. Just a week prior to your letter dismissing me from Moriel, Jacob was inviting me to speak with him at the Moriel Northern Conference in March next year. If there were any concerns with my doctrine, they would have had to have surfaced that week as at no time in my entire association with Moriel had any concern ever been expressed with the exception of the issue regarding the Millennium and that only very recently. Owing to the fact that Moriel holds itself to the highest integrity of obedience to the Word and conducting itself in accordance with it, I am intrigued as to why none of you approached me with your concerns and afforded me the opportunity to address them before making a public judgement which has not only shown me up in an extremely negative light but more importantly has brought much confusion to the brethren. Since you have brought this out into the public domain and have not followed the biblical pattern of first going to your brother or in the case of a heretic, as some are now calling me, admonish me twice before rejecting me (Titus 3:10), you have left me no choice but to respond in public. For sake of brevity I respectively ask you to allow me to address the three of you as a collective. No disrespect is intended at all. Salvation During The Millennium Reign In your letter you write that I had agreed to amend my teaching on this subject, then posted that I agreed to retract it completely. Neither of these statements are accurate or correct. When I met with Jacob and David Lister in Los Angeles together with my wife Jacqui, I agreed to clarify my position on the Millennium. I was and am most willing and open to correction if I am shown where I am wrong scripturally. This was what I agreed to and still very much still agree to. I then asked you, Jacob, to explain to me how you understand this subject as I am very open and willing to be corrected. Your response was less than two minutes long. You made two points. Firstly, you likened the salvation of the Bride to a Midrash of the three stages of the ancient Jewish marriage. You saw the time between the Marriage Feast of the Lamb (Revelation 19:7-9) and the New Jerusalem descending from Heaven (Revelation 21:9-10) as corresponding to the time between the betrothed couple celebrating their marriage at a wedding feast/banquet and the actual consummation of their marriage. Thus you reasoned that the Millennium Reign corresponds to this time period in which men can be saved as we currently are and become part of the Bride together with us. Secondly you said that on the night Jesus made the New Covenant that He said that this is the eternal covenant made in His blood, therefore the covenant cannot end even into the Millennium. I diligently searched the scriptures and could not find any place where He said this or anything similar to what you had said. Perhaps you never realised what you had just said, but both Jacqui and I heard it clearly but even so I will gladly give you the benefit of the doubt, as I too have on occasion not quoted scripture 100% accurately without consciously realising it. Yet the only mention of the covenant being everlasting in the New Covenant is in Hebrews 13:20 and applies specifically in its context to us in this age. With your response to my question, I began to ponder very prayerfully my position and even brought the topic up a few weeks later with Marco when we were together in Canada. Both Chris and Jane from Canada recall very vividly while we all sat at their dining room table that I asked them all, including Marco and Rebecca for their understanding on the subject as I was wanting to get clarity before I responded. Neither Marco nor anyone else disagreed with how I saw things even though I was asking for their critique of my view and any input that would help me see things from Jacob’s point of view. Nothing was forthcoming, so I continued to study the subject which is why I had not yet responded. Added to this, I have been ministering extensively since the initial meeting in May and had not gotten round to what I thought was an expounding of my understanding of a rather secondary issue in light of the fact that it has no outworking on any believers salvation or relationship with the Lord in this age. I am still very willing to change my views if you are graciously able to help me understand the following dilemmas I have with this subject, apart from the ones that you are now very familiar with. No disrespect or contrariness is intended but a sincere desire to learn if I am indeed wrong in my understanding. In Ezekiel 44:5-9 it is written, “5And the Lord said to me, "Son of man, mark well, see with your eyes and hear with your ears, all that I say to you concerning all the ordinances of the house of the Lord and all its laws. Mark well who may enter the house and all who go out from the sanctuary. 6"Now say to the rebellious, to the house of Israel, 'Thus says the Lord God: "O house of Israel, let Us have no more of all your abominations. 7When you brought in foreigners, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in My sanctuary to defile it—My house—and when you offered My food, the fat and the blood, then they broke My covenant because of all your abominations. 8And you have not kept charge of My holy things, but you have set others to keep charge of My sanctuary for you." 9Thus says the Lord God: "No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart or uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter My sanctuary, including any foreigner who is among the children of Israel.” It is clear in the above text that those who are not circumcised in their flesh may not enter the Temple during the Millennium, yet we know from the New Testament that circumcision is not necessary for the Gentiles (1 Corinthians 7:19; Galatians 5:6; Galatians 6:15; Colossians 3:11 etc. etc.). - Why then, if folk are born again according to the New Covenant in the Millennium, do they need to be circumcised according to the Old at this time? In Ezekiel 44:10-13 it is written, “And the Levites who went far from Me, when Israel went astray, who strayed away from Me after their idols, they shall bear their iniquity. 11 Yet they shall be ministers in My sanctuary, as gatekeepers of the house and ministers of the house; they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister to them. 12 Because they ministered to them before their idols and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity, therefore I have raised My hand in an oath against them," says the Lord GOD, "that they shall bear their iniquity. 13 And they shall not come near Me to minister to Me as priest, nor come near any of My holy things, nor into the Most Holy Place; but they shall bear their shame and their abominations which they have committed.” The above passage indicates that the Levites who went astray would never be restored back to the Lord and are forbidden to minister before Him as priests in the Millennium whilst continuing to bear their shame. Yet under the New Covenant our sins are blotted out (Acts 3:19) and remembered no more (Hebrews 8:12 and Hebrews 10:17). - Why are the memory of these sins then still retained by the Lord? - If they are priests under the New Covenant at this time, why are they forbidden to minister before the Lord as it seems to contradict 1 Peter 2:4-5 and 9-10? It is further written in Ezekiel 44:23, “And they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the unholy, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.” - Why, if folk are born again, do they need to be taught to differentiate between the clean and the unclean, if they are not under Law but under the covenant of grace? Further, it is written in Ezekiel 45:15-17, “15And one lamb shall be given from a flock of two hundred, from the rich pastures of Israel. These shall be for grain offerings, burnt offerings, and peace offerings, to make atonement for them," says the Lord God. 16"All the people of the land shall give this offering for the prince in Israel. 17Then it shall be the prince's part to give burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings, at the feasts, the New Moons, the Sabbaths, and at all the appointed seasons of the house of Israel. He shall prepare the sin offering, the grain offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offerings to make atonement for the house of Israel…." - Why does the Lord command that atonement be made for the house of Israel if they are saved by grace and these sacrifices are only memorials and are not meant to atone? -Why are they not forgiven as we are, through the blood of Jesus and just atoned for? -Why does the Lord say that the sacrifices are for atonement and nowhere in all scripture as far as I am aware is there any reference to them being merely memorials in the Millennium? My last question comes from Ezekiel 46:1-3, Thus says the Lord God: "The gateway of the inner court that faces toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the Sabbath it shall be opened, and on the day of the New Moon it shall be opened. 2 The prince shall enter by way of the vestibule of the gateway from the outside, and stand by the gatepost. The priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings. He shall worship at the threshold of the gate. Then he shall go out, but the gate shall not be shut until evening. 3 Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the entrance to this gateway before the LORD on the Sabbaths and the New Moons. I understand that the eastern gate of the temple is holy to the Lord for it is through this gate that He enters the Temple. Under the Old Covenant access to the inner courts of the Temple were restricted to the Levites. Yet under the New Covenant we are encouraged to come boldly into the Holy of Holies through the blood of Jesus (Hebrews 10:19-22) because the veil has been torn. (Matthew 27:51; Hebrew 9:8-9) -Why in Millennium are believers restricted from entering into the Lord’s presence except on the Sabbath and Holy Days? -It appears that those in the Millennium are subject to restrictions that we are not under. Why the difference if we are both under the same New Covenant and as you affirm are part of the same Bride? Why do they seemingly not enjoy the same benefits we do if we are both under the same covenant? Your insights and answers will be most welcome as this is all I have sought. Standing on a Rhema The next few allegations that have been made all come from a course outline that accompany a series titled Foundation Principles Course or the newer series titled Elementary Principles. It saddened me when I realized that none of you bothered to take the time to even listen to any of these teachings before making your damning accusations and drawing your tainted conclusions before making them public without first ever expressing any concerns to me directly. Had you followed the biblical instruction and come to me first you might never have made some of these allegations. The word “rhema” according to Thayers Greek dictionary is defined as, “that which is or has been uttered by the living voice, thing spoken, word”. Vines defines rhema, “denotes "that which is spoken, what is uttered in speech or writing" Hence the context it was used in was that which is spoken to you by God or shown you as you seek Him for wisdom and guidance. Nowhere in the teaching do I ever suggest nor have I ever suggested or intimated that a word give you by God is equal to scripture. This is an assumption that you have made by reading a bullet point summary of a teaching without listening to the content. You then go on to make a false assumption that I propagate the error of seeking a new word to supersede the written word. I have never suggested or taught anything like this, on the contrary I have stood against this very thing. Yet you made this assumption and made it public without any attempt to verify my position or even listen to the teaching. I challenge you to listen to the teaching for yourselves and you will see for yourselves that you have falsely accused me of teaching something that I never did or have ever done. Below is the link and you can start listening from the 29th minute. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egFkJawXhCk For the sake of that which is noble and right in the sight of our Lord I hope that you will do what is honourable and listen then judge whether or not you have brought a false accusation against a brother. Laying on of Hands Again it is clear that you have not listened to this teaching as you make this accusation and I quote directly, “This very similar to the transferring of anointing found in erroneous charsamania teachings. Exodus 30 teaches us that the anointing cannot be transferred.” And, “Neither can we, (on the basis of Exodus chapter 30 and the absence of exegetical warrant in the New Testament) sanction David's understanding of "laying on of hands",…” Three times in just one of many places in the teaching, one after the other I repeat the very thing that you have written, “you cannot transfer the anointing”. Yet you accuse me of teaching what I have not taught and indeed teach against and then make a false accusation publically. Again I invite you to listen to the actual teaching and then you judge whether I have taught what you accuse me of or not and you then decide if you have acted with integrity or not. Here is the link to the teaching, https://www.youtube.com/watch… The Baptism of the Holy Spirit On this I do not offer a defence but an acknowledgement that I have the same understanding on this subject as Dr Martin Lloyd-Jones, David Pawson and practically every Pentecostal theologian and minister has had with very, very few exceptions. I have listened to Jacobs teaching that he did in November 2017 at Ainsdale on the subject and feel that it is inconsistent with his own testimony. In the teaching he says that at salvation you receive the Holy Spirit objectively but at some point it then becomes a subjective experience. I have no problem in theory with this. He cites his own experience in being saved through a cult and then struggling with backsliding for two years before being filled with the Spirit. What made the objective become subjective if not that the Holy Spirit came upon him to empower him to stand. How does this differ from what I teach? You then take issue with the fact that I wrote that the most obvious signs in the scriptures that someone was filled with the Spirit was that they prophesied and spoke with tongues. I never said it was the only sign but the obvious signs. If you had listened to the actual teaching you would have heard me emphasise over and over again that tongues are not the only sign and that folk can be filled with the Spirit and not speak in tongues. But again you preferred to issue a judgement without seeking to confirm that your accusations were correct. Here is the link to the teaching if you are wanting to know what I actually teach and believe, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhJwHV-Y2ik Being Slain in the Spirit Your entire objection is that and I quote you, “And in these quotes, there is no distinction between “falling” as a physical act, and the actual Greek terms used to denote instances of worship…” Again you make accusations and assumptions from a very brief bullet point summary on a lengthy teaching without listening to the actual teaching itself and then arrive at a presupposition of what I actually believe and teach. Charles Wesley, Jonathan Edwards, George Whitefield, Francis Asbury, Charles Finney, George Fox and Dr Martin Lloyd-Jones and a multitude of conservative non-charismatic ministers have since the 1700’s from time to time witnessed something akin to being slain in the Spirit. In my teaching I expose the demonic, the hypnotic counterfeit and the genuine as witnessed by those in scripture. This subject is covered in the last quarter of the teaching on the Laying on of Hands, https://www.youtube.com/watch… Dominion Theology – God Has to Ask Permission to Intervene in This World I take the blame for this as I had in the past not explained my position clearly enough in course notes that I had written many years ago. I did a teaching expounding my understanding on this as I am 100% against dominion theology. I welcome your comments on my actual and not perceived views so that if my understanding is incorrect I may receive correction. Here is the teaching that explains my understanding, I will amend the notes to more clearly reflect this and I thank you for bringing it to my attention, https://www.youtube.com/watch… In Summary As a brother and a fellow minister I would have appreciated the opportunity to be corrected if I was indeed in error privately before taking this into the public domain. Unfortunately you have chosen to handle this both unwisely and unbiblically and as a result many have been hurt and confused by all this. I seek not to defend my reputation for I have none nor care for one but I seek the wellbeing of the flock who are easily unsettled in these turbulent times. In an instant whether willingly or unwillingly you have undermined everything I have ever taught by your many allegations. To say that somethings I teach are good and the rest bad only leaves people with the question, what is truth and what is error? That you have caused relationships to be severed by your accusations and my family both saved and unsaved to be severely affected by your accusations is something that I hope you will reflect on and hopefully learn from. Despite my immense disappointment with the many unfounded accusations you have made and the way you have acted I assure you of my continual love for you all and wish you nothing but God’s grace and goodness upon you, your families and your respective ministries. Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; David Nathan Bread of Life Ministries."

JACOB PRASCH & DAVID NOAKES MORIEL CONFERENCE 2018! ECUMENISM BY STEALTH?

Beware of Moriel Ministries Scottish Conference at Gartmore House from Friday-Sunday, 2-4th of November 2018. The speakers are Jacob Prasch and ecumenist David Noakes. {1} Noakes is endorsed by Prasch as a valid prophetic voice! {2}

David Noakes is involved with the ecumenical pro-Israel monastic order, the Sisterhood of Mary! There is very little specific information about the Sisterhood's precise beliefs on their website. However, Wikipedia gives the following information: "The Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary is an ecumenical, Lutheran based, religious order." {3} The ecumenical movement is the enemy of Jesus Christ! Israel does not need ecumenism, it needs the true gospel!

The Sisterhood was founded by two German women, Klara Schlink and Erika Madauss, aka Mother Basilea and Mother Martyria in 1947:

https://www.kanaan.org/
"..the Evangelical Sisters of Mary continued the trend of expanded women’s involvement in the German churches, the sisterhood did not defer to the leadership of any ecclesial body, male or otherwise. The group set a further precedent by pursuing a contemplative life, rather than an active life of social service in the community, as many had expected them to do. Like many groups after World War II, the sisters embodied a greater openness to alternate forms of Christian practice. Rejecting nearly five centuries of Protestant prejudice against monasticism, the Sisters embraced poverty, celibacy, and communal, cloistered life. {4}

David Noakes ministers through the Issachar Ministries Trust. He has been heavily involved with his ecumenical friend Clifford Hill and Issachar Ministries for many years. Issachar Ministries, Prophetic Word Ministries (PWM), CandM Ministries, the Centre for Contemporary Ministry (CMM) and Harvest Vision are quite a complex web of inter-connected organisations based at Moggerhanger Hall in Bedfordshire which is ecumenical. Noakes is also an advisor to Issachar Ministries which previously operated under the umbrella of PWM, and he was a director of Harvest Vision (also ecumenical) until 30th November 2000. {5} Miguel Hayworth of UK Apologetics Library has exposed the ecumenical connections of Hill and Noakes in detail. He warns: "..we need to bring this to light put into question the ministry of Clifford Hill and David Noakes and not accept at face value of CCM, ISSACHAR Ministries, Moggerhanger House, etc." {6} Another of Clifford Hill's "friends" is former Archbishop and Druid, Rowan Williams.

Clifford and Monica Hill with former Archbishop and Druid Rowan Williams

Clifford Hill founded and edited the so called "Christian magazine", Prophecy Today in 1985. He is currently PT's Editor in Chief. In common with Noakes, Hill claims to be "..one of the most respected, influential prophetic voices in the UK." {7}

David Noakes is well known in certain circles for his first person prophecies. This is very disconcerting for those of us who have come out of charismania! Jacob Prasch does not indulge himself in first person prophecies as far as I am aware. Nevertheless, he does make various authoritative statements that completely lack scriptural basis and context. Prasch's intra-seal rapture theory is a prime example of his blatant eisegesis. His teaching that the Holy Spirit is the "restrainer" of 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 is purely speculative. Furthermore, his unequivocal assertion that the Holy Spirit is absent during the 70th week of Daniel and his further assertion there is no conviction of sin during this seven year period is unconscionable! The list of errors contained within intra-seal is nothing less than spectacular as demonstrated in my publication and my previous posts on the subject. {8} Since Prasch insists that his intra-seal teachings are scriptural, this puts him on a par with these dubious first person "prophets" Noakes and Hill!

David Noakes is also connected to the ecumenical Maranatha Community through its co-leader Linda Stalley. The Maranatha Community was founded in 1981 by a Methodist lay preacher and RC priest for the express purposes of UNITY! {8}

Jacob Prasch recently re-published the following shocking article by Jackie Alnor endorsing Freemason Billy Graham. {9} Moriel have now removed their link to this article:
"So in spite of our 20-20 hindsight in believing Billy Graham made the wrong call for the purity of the Church of Jesus Christ, he still deserves the honor of going down in history as the greatest evangelist of all time. That cannot be taken from him. Rest in eternal peace, Billy!!" https://www.moriel.org/articles-and-news/7029-the-legacy-of-billy-graham.html

Prasch's insistence that his former friend Chuck Smith, founder of Calvary Chapel, was not ecumenical is complete nonsense. Smith was provably ecumenical as I have demonstrated in a previous post. {10}

The above information should be a huge red flag for true believers in Jesus Christ who follow the teachings of Jacob Prasch. Unless these believers are prepared to test the spirits, they are likely to become ensnared by Prasch and his ecumenical associates. (1 John 4:4).

Below is what I believe to be the last "prophetic word" given by David Noakes. It is probably about time for him to bring another first person prophecy.. who knows, maybe it will happen at the Moriel Conference in Scotland! I strongly advise believers to avoid Noakes and the Moriel Conference altogether! I now repeat my previous question that no one at Moriel is prepared to answer: Can a true prophet of God be ecumenical?

David Noakes Prophetic Word East Grinstead 17the June 2017

"Beloved, you are living in momentous days. These are truly the days of a turning point in the affairs of your nation. It is a time of my appointing. I have allowed you to go your own way but I have never let go of you.

It must be very "humbling" to imagine oneself a prophet to a nation and to speak for God in the first person!

There are many voices in your midst which are full of pessimism and I understand that if you look upon your circumstances, pessimism is often the outcome. But I want you to perceive as I perceive.

The prophet Jeremiah was the ultimate pessimist wasn't he?

Beloved, when there is turmoil and upheaval, do not look upon it with dismay; do not look upon it with foreboding; do not look upon it with fear. But look upon it with eyes turned to me with a questioning heart: a heart questioning what your God is doing in the midst of it. For beloved, all these things taking place are under my hand. I have brought about a remarkable work in your nation in recent times. This is not accidental, nor is it sudden, but has come about at my appointed time.

I do not have accidents; I do not have coincidences; I do not have sudden unexpected events. I have appointed events, at appointed times, and I am the one who is seated in the heavens and does whatever He pleases. Do not lose heart, because I am in charge. My hand is on your nation and I have not given up my purposes for you.

I have blessed your nation in the past and truly you have been faithless but beloved, I have remained faithful. Your enemy has done much to sow lies, to sow false doctrine, to try to bring down all that is good and all that is of God. But I have kept for myself a remnant. My Word remains true for all time and all eternity and I will fulfil my purposes.

This is a time of turmoil and upheaval because your adversary is in great rage and great fear. He is in great consternation that I will use your nation to tear his purposes apart. But that is exactly what I intend to do. I intend to bring his purposes crashing down. There will be turmoil and upheaval; there will be blood in the streets; there will be anxiety amongst those who do not know that God is in charge and do not understand what I am doing.

Beloved, there cannot be victory in war without war taking place, and war is indeed taking place, because I have joined battle. I have joined battle against the forces of darkness which desire to bring your nation to nothing and I have declared I will not have it so. My purposes for you are from all eternity. I have known exactly what I will do at this time. I have known exactly what I will do in the future and I purpose to glorify my name through your nation once again.

There is not one denomination in the UK that is not tainted with ecumenism. The scriptures say specifically that there will be a falling away, and that things will get progressively worse as the end approaches, not better. (2 Thessalonians 2:3; Matthew 24). God called Israel for His glory. (Isaiah 49:3; Jeremiah 13:11). I have not seen these words applied to another nation specifically.

Therefore do not be disheartened. Do you think of yourself as being just a little flock? Truly there is only a small remnant who hold fast to My word. But beloved, continue to hold fast to my word and pray that the purposes that I have begun to reveal will come to fruition and fulfilment, and I will visit you afresh with my Spirit.

I will visit you afresh with my Spirit that you may be empowered: Not for your glory, but for Mine. Not to build empires but to build my Church. I desire also to visit you with my Spirit that you may be instruments in my hand to go into the fields which are ripe for harvest, and bring in a harvest; for there is a harvest waiting to be brought in.

There are many in fear and trepidation and utter confusion, and I want you to be a people who know their God and do exploits. I want you to be a people of compassion; not of judgement; not of condemnation. Judgement is mine, I will repay. But I ask you to be a people of love and concern; of compassion for the lost, and of deep desire that the truth should be brought to many who will understand it and be saved. For surely there are those whom you think are your enemies, who are longing for truth.

Prophecies about a fresh move of the Spirit and revival are usually typical of false prophets within the charismatic movement. A fresh move of the Spirit cannot come about via ecumenism!

Do not be down-hearted, therefore. Do not be dispirited. Yes, I know all too well that you are surrounded by those who wish you ill. Beloved, do not heed them but look to your God who wishes you well. Look to your God who wishes them well. I desire a people who are willing to bless their enemies and to do good to those who speak evil about them.

As you do this they will see your light. Many will reject, but many will see the light in the darkness and will desire the only light they can see. For all their plans and schemes will have fallen to the ground and then they will turn to the only truth.

Do not give up therefore. Hold fast. Hold fast to Me. Hold fast to My Word. Hold fast in love and unity, to one another. Be loyal and faithful to each other. Forgive each other all offences and stand together, that as one you may show the character of your Lord and Saviour. Beloved, understand that I have not given up, and I say to you: do not give up either, but look to Me and hope in Me that I will do what I have planned."

Interestingly, Moriel indulged Noakes as early as 1997, and again in 2015:

THE HEXAGRAM DECEPTION: The Star of Saturn Revealed

YOU MAY BE A RAPTURE REDNECK.... BY DAVE MACPHERSON

     (1) If you think that Antichrist is the sister of somebody's mother.

     (2) If "posttrib" to you is the time after the Chicago Tribune arrives.

     (3) If you guess that LaHaye is something that's made while LaSun is shining.

     (4) If you're sure that Plymouth Brethren would excommunicate anyone driving a Ford or Chevy.

     (5) If you don't believe that Thomas Ice is a substance that can slow down and freeze a thinking brain.

     (6) If you think someone is stuttering if he says "666."

     (7) If "partial rapture" is what you say you feel when your denture fits.

     (8) If you think Grant Jeffrey doesn't go way back in time.

     (9) If you assume that the Early Fathers were folks who were never late to meetings.

     (10) If you reckon that the apocalypse are part of the dragon's mouth.

     (11) If you imagine that Scofield's notes are never flat.

     (12) If you think that R-A-P-T-U-R-E is the way to spell "relief."

     (13) If you're sure that the King James Translation was when King James was raptured away.

     (14) If you don't believe that Hal Lindsey wanted a rapture view that he could bank on.

     (15) If you don't know that a "fig"ment of someone's imagination can cause "date"-setting.

     (16) If you can't admit that Dallas The-Illogical Seminary was long famous for Walvoord-to-Walvoord carpeting.

     (17) If you conclude that "The Rapture Plot" is where the pretrib rapture will be buried.

     (18) If you think that an amill is someone who says "Ah!" whenever mill discussion is proposed.

     (19) If you don't know that Margaret Macdonald's partial rapturism had her saying: "SOME of the saints know they'll be in heaven when the rapture happens because they aren't all here!"

     (20) But even a rapture redneck knows that just because some don't want to be left doesn't mean they're right!

     Incidentally, Cyrus Redneck has just come up with the very best argument for pretribulationism. He says that the letters in "rapture" can be found in "pretribulationism" but not in "midtribulationism," "posttribulationism," "prewrathism," or "partial rapturism"!

WAS CHUCK SMITH ECUMENICAL? JACOB PRASCH

Was Chuck Smith Ecumenical? James Jacob Prasch -Live Via Skype
The above video is yet another example of Jacob Prasch's extraordinary duplicity.

Prasch continues to muddy the waters by endorsing his former friend, founder of Calvary Chapel, Chuck Smith.

Prasch: "Never once did he (Chuck Smith) endorse the ecumenical movement or the Roman Catholic Church."

This statement is blatantly false!!!

Chuck Smith did in fact make the unequivocal assertion that Roman Catholics are Christians! In his book, Answers For Today (1993), he made the following ecumenical statement:

"We should realize that we're all part of the Body of Christ and that there aren't any real divisions in the Body. We're all one. What a glorious day when we discover that God loves the Baptists! -- And the Presbyterians, and the Methodists, and the Catholics. We're all His and we all belong to Him. We see the whole Body of Christ, and we begin to strive together rather than striving against one another"
(p157). (Emphasis mine).

Pastors Perspective with Chuck Smith and Don Stewart:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nc9bNm62SCU

Above.. Once again Chuck Smith states unequivocally that Roman Catholics are Christians: "I had a cousin who was a mother superior in the Catholic Church and she was just a wonderful Christian. I loved her and we had great conversations together and I didn't try to convert her from Catholicism, nor did she try to convert me into becoming a Catholic.. it is just we both recognise that we had the same Lord and the same faith and so forth.." He goes on to say that the differences between Christians and Catholics are not that great - his conclusion: "Catholics are basically Christians too."

Prasch's prevarications about Chuck Smith's inclusivism: "Because so many of the people in Calvary Chapel, who were coming to Calvary Chapel and who were getting saved were from Roman Catholic backgrounds. Chuck took a pastoral approach evangelistically, not wanting to alienate Catholics, so he was reserved about his criticism of Roman Catholic doctrine, theology, beliefs, practices and so forth. He was not one to speak against it, he thought, rightly or wrongly, that it would be counterproductive to seeing Roman Catholics get saved given the fact that so many people in Calvary Chapels were from Roman Catholic backgrounds."

Chuck Smith's inclusive approach was both unscriptural and ecumenical! Roman Catholicism is the very antithesis of true Christianity and only a deceiver would make such statements. In my experience, those who come out of Roman Catholicism are all the more eager to avoid it! They do not seek to be entangled by it again! (2 Peter 2:20).

ALL Calvary Chapel pastors deferred to the powerful personality of Chuck Smith rather than the scriptures, never mind about the fact that he falsely speculated that the rapture would occur before the end of 1981 at least three times! {1} The pre-trib rapture is of course a key doctrine of Calvary Chapel.

Apart from Smith's embarrassing rapture predictions, he appeared on TBN on many occasions. Chuck Smith and others like him, such as Greg Laurie and Chuck Missler, were/are tainted by association with this apostate organisation. (2 John 9-11). In fact TBN continues to promote Chuck Smith. {2} Paul Crouch referred to Smith as a "dear friend" after his death. {3} Smith was also a "good friend" of Rick Warren!!! The very thought of forming friendships with deceivers like Paul Crouch and Rick Warren should be abhorrent to any true believer!

.. have nothing to do with the deeds of darkness or those who promote false doctrines. What fellowship does light have with darkness? (Ephesians :5:11; 2 Corinthians 6:14). If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, (2 John 1:10). What precisely were Chuck Smith's motives in cultivating friendships with such wicked men apart from leading many believers astray?

Not only was Chuck Smith both ecumenical and a false prophet, he continued to sanction the ministry of his close associate Don Stewart after his adultery. Don Stewart left his wife and two teenage daughters for no good reason and married another woman in 2011. (Matthew 19:19). {4} Smith and Stewart had a long association going back to the early days of Calvary Chapel at Costa Mesa, and they jointly hosted Pastors Perspective for a number of years. Don Stewart continues a high profile ministry in association with Calvary Chapel despite being an adulterer! He is another false teacher who relentlessly promotes the pre-trib rapture deception.

Clearly Chuck Smith had no reservations whatsoever about ditching the scriptures whenever it was convenient!

Jacob Prasch recently re-published the following ill-conceived article by Jackie Alnor endorsing Freemason Billy Graham. {5} Moriel Ministries have now removed their link to this article:

"So in spite of our 20-20 hindsight in believing Billy Graham made the wrong call for the purity of the Church of Jesus Christ, he still deserves the honor of going down in history as the greatest evangelist of all time. That cannot be taken from him. Rest in eternal peace, Billy!!" https://www.moriel.org/articles-and-news/7029-the-legacy-of-billy-graham.html

Prasch's close association with "ecumenical prophet" David Noakes and his accomplice, false prophet, Clifford Hill (Moggerhanger Park), is also highly questionable. David Noakes will be  a speaker at the Moriel Scottish Conference in Aberfoyle (Friday - Sunday 2nd-4th November 2018). {6}

Jacob Prasch's infamous intra-seal rapture theory has thoroughly baffled many believers. Although he tries to pass off intra-seal as a credible variation on the pre-wrath position, do not be fooled! I have not heard one pre-wrath teacher support intra-seal, although Prasch likes to brag that they have things in common! The silence from the pre-wrath camp is deafening! Intra-seal is an unoriginal piece of eisegesis that supports the unscriptural view of the Holy Spirit as taught by John Nelson Darby and the pre-trib camp. Prasch's assertion that the Holy Spirit is the "restrainer" of 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 is purely speculative. Furthermore, Prasch's assertion that the Holy Spirit is absent during the 70th week of Daniel and his further assertion there is no conviction of sin during this seven year period is unconscionable! The list of errors contained within intra-seal is nothing less than spectacular as demonstrated in my publication and my previous posts on the subject. {7} Prasch has much in common with Darby and his "chaotic" doctrine. BW Newton speculated that Darby may have been sent to Oxford to watch the evangelical movement on behalf of popery. He added that he had not read a line of Darby's writings that a papist might not use. {8} We can easily re-assign Professor Hertzog's observations regarding Darby to Jacob Prasch: "..he (Darby) displayed a haughty imperious, peremptory and ungovernable spirit in public.. Especially he (Darby) the rashness of his assertions, often contradictory; by the vagueness of his expressions; and by his wretched stratagem of jumping off from one subject to another." {8} This perfectly sums up Prasch and intra-seal! Beware of this man!

Was Chuck Smith Ecumenical? Most definitely YES!

A more relevant question: Was Chuck Smith a Jesuit infiltrator and why does Jacob Prasch tell such blatant lies?

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1-6).

Prasch's
endorsement of Chuck Smith is an insult to our intelligence. (Jeremiah 9:5).

WALVOORD'S POSTTRIB VARIETIES - PLUS ! BY DAVE MACPHERSON

          (The late Dr. John Walvoord was long known as a leading pretrib rapture scholar as well as the president of Dallas Theological Seminary. Since he is still frequently quoted, readers may be interested in this short piece that I put together some 17 years ago:)
          Since 1976 John Walvoord, in The Blessed Hope and the Tribulation and The Rapture Question: Revised (hereafter BH and RQR) and on the Internet, has seen four "distinct" (BH, p. 21) and "contradictory" (RQR, p. 144) schools of thought within the posttrib view.
          (Later I'll show that within Walvoord's own pretrib view the crucial timing of the rapture has had incredible variety along with fluctuating Scriptural bases!)
          Walvoord focuses on what he says are "major tenets" of the various posttrib views. He asserts that posttribs are either "classic" or "semiclassic" or "futurist" or "dispensational." But he himself undermines his labels, showing that his distinctions are not all that different!
          Walvoord states that major beliefs of "classic" posttribs include "any day" imminency, a nonliteral tribulation, and a literal millennium (BH, pp. 22, 29; RQR, p. 136). Amazingly, he finds the same three views in the "semiclassic" category!
          Re the semiclassic group, he also notes some who see a future tribulation (BH, p. 36; RQR, p. 139). In fact, he finds the same futurism in three of the four groups - even though only one is labeled "futurist"!
          Walvoord comments that his third ("futurist") group is noted for belief in a literal future tribulation (BH, p. 18; RQR, p. 142) and a literal millennium (BH, p. 57; RQR, p. 142), adding that it doesn't embrace "any day" imminency (BH, p. 19; RQR, p. 132).
          But his fourth ("dispensational") group has the same non-imminency! Moreover, tribulational futurism is found in all groups except the first one, and he admits that a literal millennium is in all four groups!
          Walvoord's muddying up of posttrib waters covers up an important fact: that for 1800 years Christians, though disagreeing on tribulational and millennial matters, never even dreamed of separating the rapture from the final advent and giving the rapture a "favored coming status"!
          The real varieties are found in pretrib history and not only in peripheral items but also in its timing of the rapture (its lifeblood)!
          In 1829 a British group known as the Irvingites, inspired by Lev. 23's order of feasts, stretched the rapture forward and created a tiny, indeterminate gap between "stages" - in a posttrib setting.
          During the early 1830's other Britishers began seeing a rapture before the 1260 tribulation days of Rev. 12; some based this rapture on Rev. 11's "witnesses" while others based it on Rev. 12's "man child."
          Many have credited John Darby, Plymouth Brethren leader, with the pretrib view. His first clear pretrib basis, in 1839, was the same "man child."
          But Edward Irving (initially inspired by pretrib originator Margaret Macdonald's short handwritten account of her early 1830 "discovery") had begun using the same symbol for the same purpose eight years earlier in The Morning Watch, a journal Darby well knew and often cited!
          By the 1870's pretribs had finally stretched their rudimental tribulational gap into a seven-year-long gap featuring a variety of bases: Rev. 3's "Philadelphia," Rev. 4's "John," or the blank space between Rev. 3 and Rev. 4!!
          The entire tell-all documentation on pretrib's origin and early development is in my recent book The Rapture Plot (300 pgs., 400+ footnotes, 6 appendices, bibliog., index), obtainable at online bookstores including Armageddon Books.
          The Rapture Plot  also reveals, for the first time, how one 19th century British group cleverly stole the pretrib rapture idea away from another group by means of document changes, plagiarism, etc. - unparalleled revisionism covered up for more than a century!

TRINITY LIFE CHURCH LEICESTER: FESTERING ECUMENISM AND APOSTASY!

The Second Beast: Revelation 13:11-18

11Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon. 12It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed. 13It performs great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in front of people, 14and by the signs that it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast it deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. 16Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.

If you attend a mainstream church, it is highly unlikely that they will give any in depth teaching from the book of Revelation. The above passage refers to the "second beast", i.e. the harbinger of the first beast, the Antichrist. (Revelation 13:1-11). It is probable that the image of the beast is the “abomination that causes desolation” in the rebuilt third Jerusalem temple. (Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:15). Historically many theologians recognise that the second beast will be a "religious" figure due to his identification as the false prophet. (Revelation 16:13; 19:20; 20:10). Many antichrists have already come, but the scriptures are specific that there will be a final figure, the Man of Sin. Paul gives this “man of sin” various names, or descriptors, which could only be applicable to an individual human being. (1 John 2:18). The Roman Catholic Church deceptively teach that both Jesus Christ and the sacraments are necessary for salvation. (2 Corinthians 11:4). This is a denial of the gospel that proclaims Jesus Christ alone as the saviour of the world. (Proverbs 30:6; Deuteronomy 4:2; Revelation 22:18). Indeed the RCC do have a form of godliness, but they deny the power of the true gospel. (2 Timothy 3:5). It is critical to recognise that the ecumenical movement being promoted by the RCC is a deceptive shift from the true gospel of Jesus Christ to the false gospel of the coming Antichrist, the coming one world religion and the New World Order. The word "antichrist", from anti and christos, is either one who puts himself in the place of, or is the enemy (opponent) of the Messiah. In fact both these definitions apply to the Antichrist.

Trinity Life Church Leicester

TLC: "We love God, love people and are passionate about Jesus, discipleship, compassion, mission and you." {1} TLC claims to be "all about Jesus", but are they really? They further claim that "the Bible is the Word of God." {2}

The above statements show TLC to be utter hypocrites. Anyone making such serious professions of faith should shun ALL connection with the ecumenical movement, and yet there are a number of instances where TLC have knowingly partnered with this wicked movement. (2 Corinthians 6:14).

“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?" (Luke 6:46).

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.." (John 14:15).

A Tree and Its Fruit
15“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.

I Never Knew You
21“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’.’ (Matthew 7:15-23).

Just as many Jewish leaders were not prepared for Jesus' first coming and put obstacles in the way of true faith, many within organised Christendom will not be prepared for His second coming. (Luke 18:8).

TLC is spreading like a cancer throughout Leicestershire via its unbiblical of expansion of satellite churches. (2 Timothy 2:17). They presently have seven campuses; the latest addition, launching in September, will be TLC Birstall. {3} There is no example of a multisite church in the New Testament. The clear scriptural model is that of Paul and Barnabus, whose practice was to plant new churches, to appoint leaders with prayer and fasting, and to release them into the care of the Lord: And when they had appointed elders for them in every church, with prayer and fasting they committed them to the Lord in whom they had believed. (Acts 14:23 cf. 2 Timothy 2:2; Titus 1:5).
Open Hands Trust

The latest example of TLC's descent into ungodliness can be found at their infamous 6 Degrees Coffee House which is the enterprise of the Open Hands Trust. I have written about this subject previously. {4} The Open Hands Trust was established in 2006 by Trinity Life Church.

Open Hands: "..with a heart to help those most vulnerable and disadvantaged in society, welcoming any in need through the doors of our Compassion Centre and inspiring hope for the future.
Our strap line ‘Compassion in Action’ expresses our belief in being active at all times with compassion, offering hope in every situation through providing food, clothing, furniture, skills training, mentoring, advice and a listening ear. The charity runs the majority of its services out of its Compassion Centre in Highfields (Leicester), which receives over 200 visits each week, but also runs an OFSTED approved preschool in two areas of the city and a thriving and profitable subsidiary company, ‘6 Degrees Coffee House’, in order to support the charity’s good work." {5}

We should bear in mind that the Antichrist will be a great philanthropist. (John 12:4-5). There is of course only one hope for the future. (Ephesians 4:4). Open Hands do not offer the gospel alongside their various charitable works. In fact by their own actions, Open Hands effectively bound the gospel in 2013, due to the contract they entered into with their sponsors, the Big Lottery Fund. (2 Timothy 2:9; 1 Corinthians 9:16). The Big Lottery Fund regulations state: "Crucially, the activities undertaken with lottery money cannot promote religion or belief." {6} I have addressed the ethical implications of TLC's lottery funding in a previous post. {7}

Among the active directors of the Open Hands Trust are David and Susan Hind, the senior leaders of TLC, Brian Niblock, former pastor and now an elder at TLC, and Colin Jewitt, who is a Director of both TLC and Open Hands. {8}

Open Hands partners: Trinity Life Church Leicester, Knighton Free Church, St Wilfrid's Church Kibworth (CofE), New Life Church Fleckney, Leicester Jesus Centre (formerly Jesus Army), KingsGate Community Church Leicester, Living Rock (Midlands), St Christopher's Church Leicester (CofE), Abundant Pentecostal Church Leicester, Avenue Road Community Church Glen Parva and The Oak Centre Braunstone.

I do not know where all the above churches stand regarding their relationship with Jesus Christ and I cannot comment on all of them. However I can speak about what I do know.
  • The Church of England is openly and rabidly ecumenical. TLC's ecumenical links clearly continue to fester!
  • I attended Knighton Free Church (KFC) for a very brief period of time a few years ago as a last ditch attempt to find true biblical fellowship in an organised church. However, it quickly became apparent that KFC had links with the CofE.. as demonstrated by their occasional guest speakers from St Mary's Church Knighton participation in their services. During my brief time at KFC, their minister, Andrew Upton, introduced the aberrant teachings of Bill Hybels, the now disgraced megachurch pastor, {9} and one of the ignominious signatories of the interfaith response to "A Common Word Between Us and You" (2007). I sent Andrew Upton ten pages of information about this Islamic/Christian document as he appeared to know nothing at all about it! {10} To seal KFC's fate as far as my involvement was concerned, the leader of the home group I attended denied the existence of eternal punishment. I did mention to him that if you deny eternal punishment, then you must also deny eternal salvation, since the same word, αἰώνιος, applies to both situations. (Matthew 25:46). During a very distressing meeting with Andrew Upton and his assistant, they decided that I had the problem! After they recommended the teachings of Calvinist heretic John Piper, it soon became clear to me that it would be sheer madness to remain! (Ephesians 5:11; 2 John 1:9-11). I now strongly suspect that KFC is a Calvinist church.
  • Leicester Jesus Centre is the abusive cult formerly known as Jesus Army which has been in the media of late.
  • The Oak Centre is the Braunstone branch of TLC.

TLC's idolatry of the Royal Family is completely out of sync with the scriptures! 6 Degrees Coffee House recently celebrated the Royal Wedding. I have nothing personal against Meghan Markle or the Royal Family, but they do not follow biblical Christianity. In God's eyes we are all sinners and I do hope and pray that they will repent and be saved. (Romans 3:23-24). Meghan Markle divorced her first husband, Trevor Engelson, in 2013, on the grounds of irretrievable breakdown. TLC's celebration of this wedding is a significant departure from the biblical principles they have historically defended. In biblical terms, remarriage is absolutely prohibited except by reason of sexual immorality. (Matthew 5:32; 19:9 1 Corinthians 7:9-10 cf. Malachi 2:16). John the Baptist reproved Herod Antipas for his illicit (adulterous) marriage to his brothers wife. (Mark 6:18; Leviticus 18:16, 20:21). For TLC to support such an event gives their approval to divorce and remarriage and it is a slap in the face to Jesus Christ. (James 4:4). Apart from that, the Royal Family are undeniably entrenched in the occult, their "religion" being more akin to Freemasonry than biblical Christianity. Queen Elizabeth II is the Grand Patroness of Freemasonry. Their obvious connection with the Druids and with various secret societies speaks for itself. {11}

I wrote previously that Open Hands' 6 Degrees Coffee House is completely saturated in the number of the beast, 666. (Revelation 13:18). In fact TLC seem unable to shake off this wicked number to this very day. We might have sighed a sigh of relief that TLC have at last changed the three sixes on the front of their building, but nevertheless they cannot resist putting the third six somewhere or other, or multiples thereof in various forms. In fact the very logo itself comprises of six outer sixes and the yin yang coffee beans! This wicked logo is an abomination and the antithesis of Jesus Christ and the scriptures.

It is a well known fact that Satanists use backwards numbers and letters!

How many multiples of 666 are there above?

The fallacy of 6 degrees of separation may be the academic equivalent of an urban myth according to scientists.

Harry..  masonic hidden hand signal - devil's horns.
I am reliably informed that if you visit 6 Degrees Coffee House (I do not recommend it), you would not realise that it has anything to do with Christianity at all. When TLC have finished celebrating ecumenism, false prophets and doctrines, trivia, quiz nights, myths, comedy nights, clothes swish and illicit marriages, perhaps they will give a little time to considering the Word of God! (2 Timothy 3:1-5).
