JACOB PRASCH AND THE RAPTURE RENEGADES!

For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14).

Jacob Prasch Commentary on J.D Farag April 21 2017
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JX7jfJXvaM
Prasch's argument that those of us who believe in the rapture should stand together is based on defective fleshly reasoning and it is unscriptural. Should we stand together with false teachers who persistently put the body of Christ in peril by peddling this false doctrine knowing its flaws full well?  I believe that we should attempt to reason with those who have been indoctrinated by pre-trib lies of course, but, the pre-trib leadership is corrupt to the core, as Prasch himself demonstrates in the above video! The scriptures say that we should watch our lives and doctrine closely, and that we should persevere in them. (1 Timothy 4:16).  BOTH of these vital ingredients are missing from the pre-trib leadership camp! Prasch repeated the same old material about various dishonest pre-trib leaders: The fact that Thomas Ice is an unaccredited "doctor" of nothing and his defective hermeneutic is very well known. The fact that Tim LaHaye and his cronies supported Sun Myung Moon (Moonies), who claimed to be the Messiah, the Lord of the Second Advent, is also well documented:  "Moon was actually crowned Messiah and Savior of Earth on March 23, 2004 at the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington D.C, where scores of Christian leaders as well as several U.S. Senators and Representatives met for this very blasphemous occasion. Southern Baptist leaders were on hand, as were Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) President Paul Crouch, Reverend Jerry Falwell, Rev. Robert Schuller, Kenneth Copeland, Pat Boone and many others. Moon claims Jesus failed on his mission to earth but Moon has not." {1} The pre-trib circus would be laughable if it were not so incredibly dangerous!

John MacArthur's lie that it will be possible for people to take the mark of the beast and to repent and be saved is also well documented. MacArchur and Jimmy DeYoung speak as though the Jews who will be saved during the great tribulation will take the mark of the beast. This argument is completely asinine; the Jews will flee from the persecution of the Antichrist (probably to Petra?) for the final 3.5 years of the 70th week of Daniel. (Matthew 24:15-16; Revelation 12:14). The Antichrist will not be able to touch them; they will definitely NOT take the mark of the beast! (Revelation 12:15-16). A number of Gentiles will also be saved (e.g. Revelation 11:13), but there is no indication that they will have taken the mark of the beast! The beast (Antichrist) will be allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. (Revelation 13:5). It is during the great tribulation that the three angels will deliver their message to those who dwell on the earth:

Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people. And he said with a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.” Another angel, a second, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who made all nations drink the wine of the passiona of her sexual immorality.” And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.” (Revelation 14:6-11).

MacArthurs teaching goes directly against the teaching of the book of Revelation. Why would the first angel proclaim the gospel, and why would the third angel warn people against taking the mark of the beast if they had already taken it? His arguments are not only nonsensical, they are irresponsible in the extreme! MacArthur not only risks his own salvation, but also the salvation of others - it doesn't get much worse!

Adding or taking away from the scriptures is a very dangerous occupation:

I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, (Revelation 22:18 cf. Revelation 22:7; Proverbs 30:6; Deuteronomy 4:2 ).

The root of pretribulationism appears to be the love of money. Like Darby, there are those who are determined to make a name for themselves and a good living at the expense of the body of Christ. (Genesis 11:4).

.....those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. (1 Timothy 6:8-10 cf. Proverbs 15:27; Matthew 6:19; Matthew 13:22; 1 Timothy 3:3).

Everything that Prasch says about these pre-trib teachers is correct;  BUT, AND IT IS A HUGE BUT, there are too many anomalies connected with Prasch himself. Prasch is very selective about the false teachers he chooses to attack, as demonstrated by his support of ecumenical "prophets" David Noakes and Clifford Hill of ISSACHAR Ministries who are in partnership with interfaith/ecumenical Hope Together. Hill endorses the Roman Catholic Church and the Anglicans as being representative of true Christianity!!! {2} Are ISSACHAR Ministries and those associated with them any better than the pre-trib camp?

THE INTRA-SEAL OFFENCE!

Prasch's unscriptural teachings:

Prasch has pronounced unequivocally that the Restrainer is the Holy Spirit.
The age of grace comes to an end during the 70th week of Daniel.
The Holy Spirit will be absent from the world during the 70th week.
The gospel will not be preached during the 70th week.
The Restrainer will be taken out of the way for the full 7 year period (the 70th week of Daniel).
Jesus' post ascension appearances to his disciples was a period of darkness.
The church will be powerless during the great tribulation.
The number ten is indicative of testing, based exclusively on only four verses of scripture. (Daniel 1:12-15).

Prasch claims to have definitive answers to the above eschatological topics and more, but his own hermeneutic is just as flawed and dangerous as that of Thomas Ice and John MacArthur!!! If we deny God's grace during the 70th week of Daniel, then we deny salvation to many precious souls that God wants to reach with the gospel during that time! Intra-seal is a denial of the gospel itself and the presence of God during the 70th week of Daniel!!! Please refer to my previous posts where I have tackled Prasch's Intra-seal doctrine extensively.

It is essential to study the scriptures for ourselves rather than rely on these renegades for truth, and that statement includes the machinations of Jacob Prasch!

Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie! (Psalm 40:4).

  1. Prasch's unbiblical theory does indeed contain elements of false pre-trib eschatology. Is his flawed teaching any better?
Regarding the flight to Pella in your excellent piece, I would believe that the Jews that run there would already be Christians/Messianic believers? Unbelieving Jews would hardly take any notice of the warnings of Jesus! But no doubt at THAT time only by virtue of God's grace ALONE through His "everlasting gospel" some might wake-up like the thief on the cross?
How vitally important is God's grace!
    God bless.

  2. My understanding is that the Antichrist will break his seven year covenant at the half way point at the event known as the "abomination of desolation" and begin his persecution. He will put an end to sacrifice and offering.(Daniel 9:27; Daniel 11:31. One third of the Jews will be saved (Zechariah 13:8), which is a sizeable number. Will the Jews be given revelation that Jesus is the Messiah at that particular time and repent? Very few Jews are messianic - there would not be enough I think to account for the numbers involved? Just a few thoughts. God bless.

  3. No, I don't think the people that flee Jerusalem they will all be believers. At the end of the tribulation when Jesus appears this remnant will be those that look upon the one they have pierced and mourn. Not something believers would do is it?

Good article, Treena. I didn't know that about Moon. How sickening. It's really disturbing to see how error leads to error and people who promote it seem to be attracted to one another like iron filings to a magnet.

  4. Many of them were involved with Moon in one way or another...
A good article to read on the Council for National Policy (CNP) and Moons influence: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_for_National_Policy
It is absolutely disgusting, and yet people still follow these deceivers and believe their lies!
    God bless.

  5. Treena, in light of an old saying I will say this: with "friends" that certain teachers have, who needs enemies? I am pleased with the depth of knowledge you have when it comes to who's who and what's what in the fascinating, and often troubling, world of Bible prophecy. May you have many more years of rooting out the disseminators of dangerous doctrine!

  7. I quote B.W.Newton (the leader of the Open Brethren who was at the helm in the initial opposition to Darby's (Exclusive Brethren) new doctrine).

    On Matthew 24.16-19; he writes.

These verses are applicable only to those servants of Christ who may at that time be dwelling in Jerusalem, or in Judea when the climax of blasphemous idolatry is reached. The claims of duty may have detained them there up to that moment. They may perhaps, have been sent there by the Lord to preach the Gospel of His grace. But after the idol of Antichrist has been placed in the Temple, all the servants of Christ are not merely allowed, but are COMMANDED to depart, and to depart INSTANTLY; because the unequalled season of tribulation in Israel (the like to which has never been) will INSTANTLY begin. Then Antichrist , as the scourge of God against Israel will act in the full terror of that power which God will have commissioned him to put forth against them. "I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets." Isaiah 10.6. Moreover direct judgments from the hand of God will fall both on Israel, and on their mighty persecutor. The setting up of "the abomination of desolation," therefore, will be a sign well understood by all "the understanding ones." It will clearly indicate to them that the season of unequalled tribulation has begun.
As being in the midst of Jews who will as rigidly as ever be observing their Sabbath, i.e. the SEVENTH day, the servants of Christ are commanded to pray that their flight may not be on that day: for they would be as much hindered in their flight by the Jews observing it, as if they were keeping it themselves. This mention of the Sabbath shows how entirely the old features of Jewish character will remain attached to that nation when they return in unbelief to Jerusalem. The servants of Christ are commanded to pray that their flight may not be in the winter; for then the mountains in which they are to find their refuge would be a rude and inclement shelter. All these directions about things comparatively trivial, prove that the Lord has not forgotten to be gracious, and that He will continue to the end to count the hairs of the head of His people. They will also remember that ages before, a similar commandment had been given to certain of their brethren in similar circumstances-that they, their brethren, had acted on it, and had found the Lord faithful. A Pella had been provided; and this will be an encouragement to THEM." (Capitals in the original were italics).

Monopode makes an excellent point in respect of Zechariah 12.10. But, the Jews resident in Jerusalem at THAT time compared to those in the "house of David" world wide would be very, very small? This is the remnant that you mention in Zechariah 13.8-9.

    God bless.

  8. My understanding is that Matthew 24:16 refers to ethnic Israel Colin. The area referred to is Judea, it is not limited to Jerusalem... It is thought that many Jewish visitors will be in that geographic area to celebrate the Passover at that particular time... esp if we believe that the third temple will be in existence. Mt 24 also ties in with Paul's teaching:

Romans 11:1.. I ask then, did God reject His people (ethnic Israel)? Certainly not! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.
Romans 11:12.. Now if their trespass means riches for the world, and if their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full inclusion(as a national entity) mean?”
Romans 11:15.. For if their rejection means the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?
Romans 11:25.. A hardening in part has come to (ethnic) Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.
Romans 11:26-31.. And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,
“The Deliverer will come from Zion,
    he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”;
27“and this will be my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.”
28As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. 29For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. 30For just as you were at one time disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience, 31so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may now receive mercy.

We are in danger of replacement theology if we take the view that ethnic Israel will perish... The context is clearly "Jacob" i.e. ethnic Israel. Paul makes a clear distinction between Jews and Gentiles. God bless

    ReplyDelete
  9. Very good! Clearly replacement theology is satanic, but trying to understand exactly how things will pan out is altogether another matter! I think that is why they call it Bible study! Re-jigging my brain! Who would disagree with what Paul is saying?

Clearly the third temple WILL be in existence, and no doubt many unbelieving Jews/Israelite's will be flocking to THAT place when it is up and running, only God knows the number. But, unbelieving Jews/Israelite's will NOT heed the Lord's words at any time prior to Zech 14.4!
When Jesus comes back (Zechariah 14.4) the remnant will NO DOUBT be saved (wherever they may be in Jerusalem/Judea). "Whoso readeth let him understand" Matt 24.15, it must be that when many of the saved remnant SEE the "abomination stand in the holy place" (which is NOT holy!-the ground is, but not the building!) then many unbelieving Jews present will take flight anyway, not realizing they are fulfilling the Lord's word?!
I have been to Israel/Jerusalem, but I certainly wouldn't want to be there at that time! Maybe there will be some Christian voyeurs tempting 'fate' at the time in question?
Certainly the 'Jewish problem' baffles many, for all Jews are Israelite's, but not all Israelite's are Jews, but God knows who they all are!

    God bless.

  10. I imagine that many Jews will be drawn to the third temple at that time, especially since they will believe the lie that the Man of Sin is their Messiah. They will be led into Satan's trap, but the Lord will provide a way of escape for the remnant. God bless you Colin.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Actually, the Lord DOESN'T "provide a way of escape for the remnant"! He CONVERTS them!

"None Of The Wicked Shall Understand"

It is sometimes objected that those who will flee in that coming day will be the Jewish remnant who are to be spared to be the nucleus of the forgiven nation; BUT THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE,for that remnant will be refined by going through the very fires of this great tribulation in Judea, and cannot, therefore, be the company commanded to escape from it by fleeing to the mountains.
The Old Testament Scriptures give much teaching about the spared remnant of Israel, e.g. Zech 13.9. "I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried": cp. Ezek. 22.17-22.
Those who are spared alive of the nation will be converted and forgiven by the Lord at His appearing when "they shall look unto Him whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourneth for his only son". Till then they are not believers on the Lord Jesus and could not use Christ's prophetic word. The people who flee from Jerusalem will be Christians, whereas the spared ones of the nation who suffer in Judea will not be converted until the Lord comes....

  12. This is my understanding Colin:

Revelation 12:6 refers to the woman i.e. Israel. Also Revelation 12:14-16.

The woman’s flight into the wilderness for 1,260 days refers to the Great Tribulation. Twelve hundred, sixty days is 42 months i.e. 3.5 years. Halfway through the 70th week, the Beast (the Antichrist) will set an image of himself up in the temple that will be built in Jerusalem which is the abomination that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24:15 and Mark 13:14. When the Beast does this, he breaks the peace pact he had made with Israel, and the nation has to flee for safety—possibly to Petra (also see Matthew 24; Daniel 9:27). This escape of the Jews is pictured as the woman fleeing into the wilderness.

"Behold, a day of the LORD is coming, when the spoil taken from you will be divided in the midst of you. For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses plundered and the women ravished; half of the city shall go into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle." (Zechariah 14:1-3)

I do not think that the Jews who flee will be the believing remnant as some say, not, at least at that point... those who are protected from the wrath of the Antichrist will not be raptured - they will remain in their bodies and populate the millennium.

Immediately after the coming of the Messiah there will be a period of extended mourning in Israel when they will repent: “In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem… And the land shall mourn, every family by itself… In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness. It shall be in that day, says the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they shall no longer be remembered” (Zechariah 12:11–13:2).

    God bless

  13. Thank you Treena for your honest scholarship. It is so important to include the scripture from Zachariah, it is really impossible to discuss the unfolding of the end times events without it. I agree with you that the Holy Spirit most certainly will not be "absent" during the time of tribulation; the hardships incurred upon the human race will be such that many will fall at the feet of Messiah for His mercy; that includes people who consider themselves Christians, but were never truly disciples of Jesus.

I have read your other post regarding the sad, senseless blabbering of Jacob Prasch.
There most certainly will be a true revival come upon the church, however, God's Spirit will not rest upon those congregations that hatefully disrespect women by believing the woman needs to be "managed", subjugated, and diminished by men. So very much to say about that! Blessings to you.
