ONE CHURCH LEICESTER: CLOSURE OF SIX DEGREES COFFEE HOUSE

One Church is an Assemblies of God (AG) Church in Leicester which has tangible links to the false teachings of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) having close ties with false prophet Simon Braker and other "prophetic" influences.1  Like many NAR churches, their somewhat "cool" image conceals a much darker agenda.

The AG is the world's largest Pentecostal denomination representing 65 million people. The AG has published a number of papers officially rejecting several key NAR teachings. Despite this, many individual pastors and leaders, including the Hinds, regularly flout these guidelines and introduce all kinds of aberrant NAR doctrines into their churches.

AG: "The New Testament does not make provisions for establishing the prophet in a hierarchical governing structure of the church; in fact, the content of prophecy itself should always be tested by and responsible to the superior authority of Scripture. However, the church should long for authentic prophecy with a message, which is relevant to contemporary needs and subject to the authority of Scripture."2

ONE Church: "After 8 wonderful years, we are announcing that 6 Degrees will be closing their doors this Easter. The shop was set up in 2016 as a social enterprise to bring profits to Open Hands & bless the community around Leicestershire through their compassion ministries. Throughout this journey, 6 degrees has fulfilled these aims and been a huge blessing on London Road. Over this last season, 6 Degrees has continued to be a blessing but has faced challenges in turning a profit. It’s now time to gracefully conclude this chapter and celebrate the wonderful journey it has been. Our heartfelt gratitude and prayers go out to our dedicated staff and volunteers as they transition to new opportunities.."

Six Degrees Coffee House is one of the most macabre stories I have ever reported on! Six Degrees was opened in 2016 by Trinity Life Church Leicester (now ONE Church). The profits from Six Degrees apparently go to the work of Open Hands Trust which was founded on lottery money in 2006! Not only was TLC's application for lottery funding unbiblical, it also went specifically against Assemblies of God guidelines. The most infamous thing about 6 Degrees was its ungodly signage which sported the number 666 for a considerable period of time.

The latest in a long line of bad decisions undertaken by the Hinds is their acceptance of an alleged prophecy to find "a watchtower at a high place" in order to hear from God! (Matthew 18:20). The location they chose for this heathenish act was Holyhead Mountain on Anglesey with its strong Druidic connections. Mark and avoid these false teachers/prophets. (Romans 16:17).  their glory is in their shame.. (Philippians 3:19).

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men. (2 Timothy 3:1-9).

ONE CHURCH LEICESTER: VISION SUNDAY 12 NOVEMBER 2023 AND MORE ABOUT OPEN HANDS

ONE CHURCH VISION SUNDAY 12 NOVEMBER 2023 "We build through our encounter of faith".... (143) One Church Together - VISION SUNDAY | 12th November 2023, 11.15am - YouTube

The visiting speaker at the above meeting was "Reverend" Dominic Yeo from Singapore. Yeo was introduced by David Hind as The General Superintendent of The Assemblies of God of Singapore, and the Secretary of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship. Yeo is also the Chairman of the Asia Pacific Assemblies of God Fellowship and an Executive Committee Member of the Pentecostal World Fellowship. 1  These titles and positions sound very impressive, but they are irrelevant to God. (Luke 14:11; 2 Corinthians 10:17; Acts 10:34).

The alleged "vision" of ONE Church for 2023/4 is "strengthening", although it appears to me that it majors on even more requirements to give money from their already berated congregation. 2  In typical NAR style, Yeo announced a "watershed moment - a moment that will literally change your life.."  Yeo's unbalanced message was experience-based and anti-biblical. Yeo: "The only way to build is through a divine encounter with Him.. Bible study does not increase our knowledge, it increases only an academic knowledge but not an existential knowledge, do you understand? It's not an experience, but in the experience of God you know something more about God.."  (1:21 mark) This wicked teaching is in direct contradiction to the scriptures. (1 John 4:1; Hebrews 4:12; Psalm 119:15-16, 47-48,105; Proverbs 3:1-2; Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:14-17; Matthew 22:29 etc.) The antidote to false doctrine is the scriptures! Many NAR leaders actively discourage their followers from studying the scriptures because it suits their purposes to keep their followers biblically ignorant so that they do not have the know-how or discernment to test the spirits. False prophecy is a particular feature of the end times, and unless we test the spirits as the scriptures command, we will be deceived. The scriptures emphasize the primary responsibility of pastors/elders to protect their congregation from false teaching and other harmful influences. Those leaders who fail in this respect and propagate false doctrines will reap destruction! (2 Peter 2:1-3; Jude 1:3-16).

Keep watch over yourselves and the entire flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood. I know that after my departure, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number, men will rise up and distort the truth to draw away disciples after them. Therefore be alert and remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears. (Acts 20:28-31).

Yeo: "Pastor David is one of the most infectious people I've known in my life he's extremely excited and he's jumping all the time yeah.." (1:11:50 mark)

I have previously commented that David Hind's bizarre behaviour borders on the manic. Someone who jumps around all the time in an agitated manner and uses exaggerated hand movements should generate questions about their stability. (1 Timothy 3:1-3; 2 Timothy 1:7; Galatians 5:22-23).

David Hind false prophet!

About eighteen months ago Hind employed the infamous NAR mantra "imminent revival". Needless to say this "prophecy" was not fulfilled. (Jeremiah 5:13). Susan Hind also claims to be "prophetic", and ONE Church has resident NAR "prophet" Simon Braker within their ranks. This makes ONE Church a lethal place to attend!

David Hind (1st May 2022): "This is a fulfillment season, an outbreak season."  Over a year later, according to David Hind, we are still on the cusp of revival. This is the typical mantra of false prophets who constantly repeat that we are on the cusp of something enormous, but that "something" never happens - NAR buzzwords: revival, breakthrough, outbreak, awakening etc.

* End-time revival or apostasy? The revival mantra of the false prophets has no biblical foundation whatsoever. No prophecy of an end-time revival exists in the New Testament. The New Testament prophesies rampant spiritual deception, apostasy, false prophets, lying signs and wonders, birth pains.. and ultimately worldwide spiritual deception under the Antichrist. (Revelation 13:14). We should be very wary of those who consistently prophesy "revival" or "awakening". False prophets tickle itching ears and tell us what we want to hear, not what we need to hear. (2 Timothy 4:3). 3

Yeo's typical NAR narrative complete with buzzwords

"..it is very important as your church is at a threshold, and I sense this. I'm going to say this prophetically. You and Leicester church is standing on a threshold, and depending on how this scale of eternity flip, you either step into your destiny, or you fall off your destiny, and that is going to be through an encounter with Christ that will enlarge, that will deepen your faith in Him.. that will build through revelation.. out of conviction comes manifestation.." (1:22 mark)

Do we need a divine encounter?

Yeo: "..the only way to build together is number one you must build through the encounter of faith you can only build the king you see the kingdom of God cannot be built by our hands but it must be built through the encounter of faith and that's why Jesus turns to the disciples and ask them this question - 'Who do people 1say that I am?'  You see because when he started off 'Who do people say I am', and they gave all the different answers, and then he turns around and say 'Who do you', see it's always a place of encounter. God does not want you to know him in your past and not to know him in the present. A lot of people will tell you 'I'm a Christian' and then when you dig more about their relationship with Jesus you find that they have none at all. They had a one-time experience and then for the rest of their life they never had a daily Encounter With Jesus.." (1:17 mark). Yeo's command of the English language is terrible. His listeners have the double challenge of incoherent theology delivered in very poor English.

Seeking a dramatic life-changing "encounter" with God on a daily basis will end in disappointment. Christians are not promised daily earth-shattering "encounters". True Christians can be assured of God's presence as we put our trust in Him, as we pray, as we study His word and as we walk in obedience. There may be times when we are more conscious of His presence than others, but we rely on truth not on experience! God has told us through His Word: I will always be with us to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:20; Matthew 18:20). Yeo is actually suggesting that those who hear this message should put their faith in this particular "vision" contrived by Hind and the leaders of ONE Church. Our faith is not in a contrived "vision", our faith is in Jesus Christ! (2 Corinthians 5:7).  There is much more I could say about Yeo's "sermon", but hopefully I have made my point.

Open Hands

ONE Church's biblical illiteracy is graphically demonstrated on their Open Hands website. They quote Matthew 25:35-36 out of context in an attempt to justify the existence of Open Hands at the expense of the gospel. 4

The above verses apply to needy believers, not to unbelievers. If they had bothered to read beyond verse 36 to verse 40 the context is obvious:

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. 4  Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ (Matthew 25:35-40).

Bengel's Gnomen: "Matthew 25:35. Ἐδώκατέ, κ.τ.λ., ye have given, etc.[1100]) Of all good and bad actions, those will be especially mentioned which have been performed to the saints, which presuppose faith and love towards Jesus Christ and His brethren, and involve confession of His name, which are most frequent, and remarkable, and conspicuous; and then, from the manifest glory of the Lord, the dignity of His brethren, and the character of good and evil actions towards them, will be manifest; cf. ch. Matthew 10:40-41."

Gill: "..for this was done by them, not as the effect of mere humanity to the poor in general, but as an instance of affection to Christ's poor; and was done for his sake, and because they belonged to him, were preachers of his Gospel, and professors of his name; and therefore was considered as if done to himself personally:" 5

Open Hands has shifted from lottery funding to government grants

The scandal of TLC's leadership (now ONE Church Leicester) and their godless application for lottery funding in 2013 has been documented by me in previous posts. TLC had no qualms about throwing Jesus Christ under the bus for filthy lucre! (1 Timothy 3:3). I have addressed the ethical implications of TLC's lottery funding in a previous post. 6   At that time, David Hind and his cohorts pursued their greedy agenda under the unholy influence of TLC's former Director and Trustee, Adam Simmonds, who was Northamptonshire PCC from 2012-2016. I have often wondered whether TLC's application for lottery funding would have been successful if Simmonds had not been Director of TLC at that time!

Big Lottery Fund: “Lottery distributors' rules make a distinction between religious activities and the community projects churches run. They say: "The project outcomes are key, rather than the non-project activities and ethos of the organization. Crucially, the activities undertaken with lottery money cannot promote religion or belief." 7

Open Hands received £34.50k income from government grants at the end of December 2022: "Income from government grants N/A £33.64k N/A N/A £34.50k"

It appears that very similar, if not identical, constraints regarding the promotion of religious activities apply to faith-based bodies receiving government grants. Gov.uk: "There is no law against funding faith-based bodies, nor is there any Government policy discouraging this. Whilst it should be transparent that in most cases funds will not primarily be used to promote the specifically religious activities of the funded body, there is a difference between solely religious activity and wider faith based work for the common good. Often faith-based bodies are best placed to deliver services." 9

The above stipulation should be enough to dissuade any bona fide church from applying for government grants. Entering into ungodly contracts with secular government departments and agreeing to their conditions is to yoke oneself to them. (2 Corinthians 6:14). By agreeing to abide by the stipulation not to promote specific religious activities runs counter to the scriptures which prioritize sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! (1 Corinthians 9:16).

I do not have to be a prophet to say that there will be consequences for these actions.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20).

And Saul said to Samuel, “I have obeyed the voice of the LORD. I have gone on the mission on which the LORD sent me. (1 Samuel 15:20).

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 7:21; cf. Ephesians 5:7).

Paul and his companions were ready to suffer hardship, poverty, and ill-treatment for the sake of the gospel. This is a very far cry from ONE Church's obsession with money and their false NAR gospel, the contrast is woefully obvious.

And now, behold, I am going to Jerusalem, constrained by the Spirit, not knowing what will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that imprisonment and afflictions await me. But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. And now, behold, I know that none of you among whom I have gone about proclaiming the kingdom will see my face again. Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all, for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God. Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood. I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. (Acts 20:22-30).

And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness. (Acts 4:29-31).

No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. (Matthew 6:24).

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14).

Holly Pivec: "NAR teachings and practices have divided families, split churches, stunted the spiritual growth of believers, and left countless Christians disillusioned by promises of healing and miraculous power that haven’t panned out. They’ve also damaged the church’s witness to a watching world." 10

SIMON BRAKER: NAR ONSLAUGHT AT ONE CHURCH LEICESTER

I find it unsurprising that false prophet Simon Braker is now attending ONE Church in Leicester (formerly Trinity Life Church). Braker was previously an Associate Minister at Holy Trinity Church, Leicester (CofE). It appears that "Apostle" John McGinley has also left Holy Trinity, although I am not familiar with the details of their departure.

Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. (1 Corinthians 12:4-11).

Is everyone meant to function in the prophetic?

Paul asks the Corinthians a rhetorical question. "Are all prophets etc." (1 Corinthians 12:27-31). It is not the case that all Christians are entitled to function in the prophetic at their own whim, rather the gifts of the Holy Spirit are distributed according to God's will. (Hebrews 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:11). Paul encourages Christians to earnestly desire the higher gifts, but it is God's prerogative who actually receives them.

Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? But earnestly desire the higher gifts. (1 Corinthians 12:27-31).

What does prophetic mean?

Braker: "How many of you believe you are called to reveal Jesus.. that's what prophetic means. Being prophetic is simply revealing Jesus, and that is what we are called to do."

Braker goes on to quote Ephesians 4:11 and refers to the alleged 5-fold ministry

Although I do believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the 5-fold ministry is something I reject outright due to the inescapable fact the canon of scripture is complete and cannot be changed. (2 Timothy 3:16; Deuteronomy 4:2,12:32; Proverbs 30:6; Revelation 22:18-19). Alleged apostles and prophets often claim that their "revelations" supersede the scriptures, thus they usurp the authority of the bible and invalidate any attempt to test the spirits. (1 John 4:1). Those who claim apostolic governance i.e. those who claim to function in the same capacity and claim the same authority as the first-century apostles, should be rejected. Three distinct criteria for the office of "apostle" are defined in the New Testament: An apostle must have been an eyewitness to the post-resurrection appearances of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 9:1); he was chosen by the Holy Spirit (Acts 9:15); and he ministered miraculous signs and wonders (Acts 2:43; 2 Corinthians 12:12). Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me. (1 Corinthians 15:7-8).
Paul refers to prophecy as a gift, not an office. (1 Corinthians 12:10, 14:1; Romans 12: 6 cf. Acts 13:1). Interestingly the Old Testament prophets stood outside the hierarchical system of governance. (Jeremiah 1:6-7; Amos 1:1 etc.)

Before attempting to dabble in the prophetic under the guidance of Simon Braker, it is essential to note that God takes false prophets/prophecy very very seriously. False prophets are repeatedly condemned both in the Old and New Testament. (Matthew 7:15, 24:11,24; 2 Peter 2:1; 1 John 4:1; Jeremiah 5:31; Ezekiel 22:28; Lamentations 2:14 etc.) In the Old Testament false prophets were put to death! (Deuteronomy 13:1-5). We don't put false prophets to death these days, but nevertheless, we are warned to avoid them.

Below is an excerpt from Braker's performance at Revival Night Ministry on the 14th October 2017 at Living Waters Foursquare Church London: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQxeq42b-34&t=879s This video has been removed but I did manage to record most of what Braker said:

Braker announced almost straight away that he had been "drunk" for two weeks.. he described himself as "..an experience addict.. I want as many experiences as I can get'"...
Braker: "The way you enter the world is through a push.. if that is the way we enter the natural world, then why would we believe that that would not be the way that we breakthrough into the spiritual world.." I don't want to insult anyone, but have to wonder if Braker's audience was a bit dense. The way we enter the natural world is not through our own efforts or 'push' at all! (John 15:5).
Braker: "It is time for the fire to start burning again, and the sound of the fire is in this room... the sound of heaven is in the room.." (the sound of heaven?)
Braker proceeded to call out the young guitarist who was leading the worship. "This is what I heard the Lord say while you were leading worship.. 'Stop singing inside the lines of other people's songs.' I tell you, when you were leading prophetically you were releasing the sound of the nation... you have got the tuning fork, you know how to match the sound of the lands to heaven... God is going to use you to build the bridge.. every move of the spirit has got its own sound.. (really!!) So I speak to your spirit and I say release the sound.. Jesus wreck him, mess him up, do something.. etc. etc." The young man by now was doubled up and started laughing hysterically along with the congregation.. This is what I refer to as 'puffing up' i.e. giving individuals false ideas about their supposed influential 'destiny'. Braker then got the whole worship team to stand up and announced: "A sound is going to be released".
Braker: "John the Baptist was drunk from conception." (verse?)
Braker: "The colour of grace is green.." (verse?)
The whole bizarre scene continued for some time with various rantings and personal prophecies in the first person of the Lord. The meeting concluded with Braker claiming to see an angel: "..the angel of the Lord's presence.." Thus ended the Simon Braker show!
{1}

If alarm bells are not ringing after reading the above then there is something very wrong. If you want to be worked up to a frenzy with false prophetic words and experiences, then, by all means, follow Simon Braker. However, if you want to follow the Lord, then Braker is someone to mark and avoid. (Romans 16:17). How very sad it is that the Hinds have opened their doors to the New Apostolic Reformation. This is yet another bad choice to add to their catalogue of unbiblical choices. It is a terrible irony that those who should be protecting the sheep are actually wolves supporting other wolves, but there is nothing new under the sun. (Jeremiah 23:1 cf. Ecclesiastes 1:9).

Follow the money!

"This year we are excited to start monthly Prophetic Mentoring days 9:30 AM-8 PM 9:30 AM-4 PM We will focus on dynamic teaching training and equipping 5:30-8 pm Worship and Prophetic ministry. Each week we will be joined by key international speakers." {2}

Holly Pivec: "Unfortunately, a number of churches today are not teaching their young people about the solid basis for their Christian faith. Rather, they promote novel teachings and practices that do not have the support of Scripture. Many of these churches are led by the so-called 'apostles' and 'prophets' of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), including the most prominent NAR church today—Bethel Church in Redding, California. NAR teachings and practices have divided families, split churches, stunted the spiritual growth of believers, and left countless Christians disillusioned by promises of healing and miraculous power that haven’t panned out. They’ve also damaged the church’s witness to a watching world. I’ve devoted much of my efforts to warning people about this dangerous movement that has made inroads into thousands of churches across the United States and around the world." {3}

ONE CHURCH LEICESTER (FORMERLY TRINITY LIFE CHURCH): DAVID AND SUSAN HIND NARCIGESIS

 (171) One Church Message | David & Susan Hind (4th June 2023) - YouTube

After this I looked and saw a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had previously heard speak to me like a trumpet was saying, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after these things. At once I was in the Spirit, and I saw a throne standing in heaven, with someone seated on it. ” (Revelation 4:1- 2).

Context is king!

The Book of Revelation is concerned with a series of prophetic visions of apocalyptic events. Revelation 4:1-2 is a momentous event for John who is about to enter, and then enters, the very throne room of God through an open door

Does anyone dare reinvent these verses to suit their own interpretation? Yes, actually David and Susan Hind do! A classic Charismatic/Pentecostal/NAR tactic is to rip specific verses of scripture out of context in isolation and put their own spin on them, effectively misapplying them to some invented scenario of their own making. I have heard this practice described as narcigesis, which is a combination of narcissism and eisegesis. When presumptuous false teachers ignore the context of specific verses and crowbar them into their own small selfish ambitions and projects, they are in rebellion and are deeply offensive to the Lord. These false teachers do not rightly divide the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15). Warnings are given throughout the scriptures not to alter God's word in any way. (Deuteronomy 4:2, 12:32; Proverbs 30:6). However in the book of Revelation, the revelation of Jesus Christ, a specific warning is given to potential scripture twisters.

This is the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants what must soon come to pass. He made it known by sending His angel to His servant John, who testifies to everything he saw. This is the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear and obey what is written in it, because the time is near. (Revelation 1:1-3).

The warning at the end of the book of Revelation.

I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. (Revelation 22:18-19).

Same old same old

What follows Hind's "prophetic word" is the same old hype we have heard from him previously. This time Hind attempts to convince us that they have "an open door, a prophetic word (Revelation 22:18-19), and a God plan".  I lost count of the number of times Hind repeated the phrase "open door" during this manipulative presentation. The apparent success of TLC/ONE Church is questionable in spiritual terms. ONE Church is comparable to the infamous monster, Hillsong Church, or more locally, Jesus Army aka Jesus Fellowship (by the way approved by the Hinds'), and also the "shipwreck" All Nations Church (previously at 10 Frog Island). These supposed successful churches are often lethal places where inestimable damage is done to vulnerable people. Success in material terms is not a sign that ONE Church is enjoying the favour of God. In fact, it may be a sign that God has actually given them over to apostasy. I have recorded the catalogue of ungodly decisions made by Hind and his cohorts in previous posts, not least how they managed to obtain lottery funding and worm their way into worldly influence through Adam Simmonds, former Director of Trinity Life Church and disgraced Northamptonshire PCC from 2012-2016. {1} This latest hype from the Hinds' confirms their continued pattern of ungodliness and throws up a number of additional red flags.

* The folly of employing new "Worship Director" Ashtyn Michael. How they love their titles! (Matthew 23:5-12; 2 Corinthians 5:12). Hind wants to introduce "a new breed of worship leaders", and Ashtyn Michael will be moving from London to become their new Worship Director in August. Michael was previously part of the infamous Holy Trinity Brompton's worship team from September 2016 to January 2018. HTB is the source of the controversial Alpha Course and the so-called "Toronto Blessing" in the UK. In 1998 HTB was accused of using "cult methods", and the Alpha Initiative was accused of creating "a Mickey Mouse religion which is cheap, graceless and addictive". {2} After leaving HTB Michael briefly became a Junior Chef at TGI Fridays. {3} After his one-month stint as a Junior Chef, Michael moved to Leicester in September 2019 to be part of the staff team at Chroma Church (formerly Leicester City Vineyard). This position doesn't seem to have lasted very long either as he appears to have scuttled back to London during the pandemic. {4} It would be interesting to know what salary ONE Church will be paying their new Worship Director, but I think we are unlikely to find out since they do not divulge embarrassing details like individual staff salaries.

* The folly of endorsing false NAR prophet Simon Braker who spoke at their "Encounter Night" the previous Sunday, May 28th. Braker prophesied:  "As you step back into your physical space, know that it is a prophetic gateway. You will walk into increased levels of influence and anointing and His glory. For God has found you faithful in this last season and He has seen your persistence and your refusal to give up, and His word to you is 'ONE Church arise and shine'". (31:00 mark)  I would advise my readers to do some research on the New Apostolic Reformation of which Braker is very much a part. (See Further Links).

* Susan Hind's alleged "prophetic" aeroplane dream: "I saw a vision of a classic silver aeroplane and many people from ONE Church getting on it, and in the dream, I got up and declared 'There is a seat for everyone on the plane.'"

Four months to harvest?  Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest. (John 4:35). More manipulation of the scriptures from Dominic Yeo (AOG Singapore) who feeds into the Hinds' delusional mindset. {5} On the strength of this verse, Yeo believes that there are four months to harvest. (31:00 mark)

The folly of prophecy training. It is pure lunacy to attempt to train anyone in the prophetic. At these sessions, self-professed gurus in the prophetic teach people to replace the Holy Spirit with their own imagination. (Ezekiel 13:3; Jeremiah 23:16).

* Female pastors. Hind alone was allegedly invited to join TLC (although the way this was handled by Brian Niblock was very strange to say the least). Now, sixteen years later, ONE Church, formerly Trinity Life Church, are paying wages to no less than four members of the Hind family, and the biblical precept that a woman should not have authority over a man is completely ignored. (1 Timothy 2:12). The information given on The Charity Commission's website is that no member of staff at ONE Church earns more than £60,000. I therefore surmise that the Hinds' are at the upper end of the pay scale, and that their combined annual salaries amount to somewhere in the region of just under £120,000. The Hinds' standard of living is probably far higher than most attendees who contribute sacrificially to ONE Church.

Charities report - 22.1 (charitycommission.gov.uk)

* David Hind's bizarre motivational presentations. According to Debretts, hand gestures make you look more charismatic: "..sweeping expansive hand gestures convey the idea that you are talking about a large idea or concept." {6} When hand gestures are overdone (as they are in Hind's case), they can actually have a negative effect on an audience because they look rehearsed. It is worth noting that overzealous or exaggerated hand gestures are not only cringeworthy to witness, particularly when coupled with a teenage hairstyle, but they can also suggest that the speaker is insincere. {7} In my view Hind's bizarre motivational presentations exude superficiality and are an indication of someone who is trying very hard to sell a bill of goods. (2 Peter 3:16).

* David Hind (1st May 2022): "This is a fulfillment season, an outbreak season.Over a year later, according to David Hind, we are still on the cusp of revival.

For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. (Matthew 24:24).

I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; (Acts 20:29).

Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction.. (2 Thessalonians 2:3).

Now the Spirit expressly states that in later times some will abandon the faith to follow deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons.. (1 Timothy 4:1).

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. (2 Peter 2:1).

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1).

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ (Matthew 7:21-23).

ONE CHURCH LEICESTER: VISION SUNDAY ~ SPIRITUAL MANIPULATON ON STEROIDS!

(16) One Church Together LIVESTREAM - VISION SUNDAY | 13th November 2022, 11.30am - YouTube

The leadership of One Church Leicester (formerly Trinity Life Church) spent over two hours relentlessly touting for money during their recent Vision Sunday eventNew Apostolic Reformation false prophet Simon Braker was in attendance declaring "a new mantle" upon One Church, namely "the mantle of generosity". The prosperity gospel was not far behind. Braker: ".. in the spiritual atmosphere I keep seeing this word written over everyone 'generosity, generosity, generosity', and there is a new mantle coming on this church today.. and the Lord says to you, don't expect delay in heaven's response, because as soon as you act, heaven acts straight away, so expect the immediate and the suddenlies in your finances, in your family, in your prayers, everything you are believing for."  (37:20 mark) This is spiritual manipulation on steroids! Disturbingly David Hind was rocking to and fro during Braker's alleged word from the Lord. I really do feel sorry for those who have been taken in by these so-called "apostles and prophets". Those people who endured over two solid hours of intense pressure on the 13th of November almost certainly felt compelled to give. (2 Corinthians 9:7). I believe that berating people for over two hours with false promises of recompense "from heaven" probably falls within the guidelines of "misleading or excessive requests for donations". {1}

Brian Niblock, the previous pastor of Trinity Life Church, did exactly the same thing when I attended some years ago. It was suggested by Niblock that we even donate our jewellery in order to contribute to the expansion of the modest church building in Highfields. I was a newish Christian at that time and I did put jewellery into the offering. This is something I now deeply regret, not just because I lost my jewellery, but because such a suggestion should never have been made to impressionable believers. The improvements and expansions became more and more ambitious, eventually resulting in a white elephant; a state-of-the-art building that is no longer required in an area of chronic poverty. All the sacrifices made by believers went into the TLC money pit and the incessant appeals for money became increasingly wearisome. The crunch came for me when David Hind became the pastor of TLC. At that time the Lord made it very clear to me that TLC was no biblical church.

I regard the building at Frog Island as a very dark place spiritually. It was previously All Nations Church Leicester (ANCL). This "church" was responsible for heavily promoting the so-called "Toronto blessing" and Todd Bentley's Lakeland deception in Leicester. ANCL's failure and subsequent merger with TLC is the catastrophic result.

What is evidenced within the Pentecostal/Charismatic NAR movent is their very low view of the scriptures. They insert their own interpretations rather than relying on sound principles of biblical exegesis to guide them. This results in many false doctrines and practices such as the false prosperity gospel, Word-Faith theology, over-emphasis on money and buildings, distorted authority models, the ordination of women pastors and many other things. We see all this being manifested at One Church at such a time as this when globalism is ramping up and perilous times are almost upon us.

In my last post about One Church in May 2022, I noted various prophecies read aloud by Hind concerning the false hope of imminent revival. Six months later these so-called prophecies have not been fulfilled.

Hind: "He has an amazing plan for One Church. We believe we are about to grow, plant out, see hundreds of people finding Jesus, being baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit. We are expectant of a move of God and a fresh demonstration of His healing power."  {1}

(2 Timothy 3:1-8).

ONE CHURCH LEICESTER (FORMERLY TRINITY LIFE CHURCH) DAVID HIND WANNABE MEGACHURCH PASTOR

 (13) One Church Online | 1st May 2022 - YouTube

The fall of the megachurch

Thus says the Lord GOD, Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require my sheep at their hand and put a stop to their feeding the sheep. No longer shall the shepherds feed themselves. I will rescue my sheep from their mouths, that they may not be food for them. (Ezekiel 34:10 cf. 2 Peter 2:1).

Over the last few years, we have seen a number of megachurches fall due to false leaders that are not submitted to Jesus Christ. Two blatant examples are Mark Driscoll of Mars Hill Church, and more recently, Carl Lentz and Brian Houston of Hillsong Church. I have recently become aware of the shocking allegations against Stovall Weems and his wife Kerri at Celebration Church, one of the biggest churches in the Jacksonville area of the US. The ungodly leadership of many megachurches has not been without significant damage to the witness of Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 2:2). Many poorer members of megachurch congregations are exploited and are expected to support the extravagant lifestyles of these wolves. Finally, people are beginning to wake up to pastors who feed themselves instead of the flock. (Ezekiel 34:1-10; Hosea 4:7). The downward spiral of the apparently unstoppable megachurch model is a powerful example of how God brings false teachers to nothing. (Psalm 37:7).

The rise of "hipster" pastors, is, in reality, a sad collection of entitled middle-aged narcissists who find their identity, not in Jesus Christ, but in the outward appearance of skinny jeans, chic websites, hip worship bands and cool coffee shops. Megachurches have always been about image and youth as against sound doctrine, in depth bible study and true discipleship. (2 Corinthians 5:12, Isaiah 16:7). Unhappily, David Hind fits the superficial profile of a wannabe megachurch pastor complete with spiked hair and skinny jeans, albeit that he is in his mid 50s.

Hind has changed his multisite definition from "campus" to "site", no doubt because the campus model has come to have a very bad reputation.

One Church ~ The "merger" between Trinity Life Church and All Nations Church in Leicester.

The new One Church website informs us that All Nations Church Leicester (ANCL) has been through a "shipwreck".  {1} ANCL was heavily involved in the fake "Toronto Blessing" during the 1990's, they aggressively promoted tithing, and they participated in the diabolical New Apostolic Reformation. (See Further Links)  It was inevitable that the ANCL blight would eventually become a shipwreck, their false Word Faith model having been based on doctrines of demons. (1 Timothy 4:1 cf. Luke 3:9,17). The present concern is that the equally apostate Hinds have not been slow to take advantage of the ANCL "shipwreck"  and have moved in lock stock and barrel. Hind is keen to tell us that this is not a "takeover" but a "marriage".

Hind's description as a "leader of leaders" is one of the most pretentious statements I have come across. {2} An essential qualification for church elders/leaders is to be able to teach sound doctrine and to rightly divide the word of truth. ( Titus 1:9;1 Timothy 3:2; 2 Timothy 2:15). Hind does not qualify as a leader, much less a "leader of leaders"

David Hind's "vision" for Leicester.

The error of appropriating Old Testament promises specifically made to Israel

Hind claims that the Lord has "clearly spoken to us at this time" and he refers to the many "prophecies" they have allegedly received for Leicester over the last ten years. Hind: "People from many parts of the world have spoken of what God is about to do here. We believe He is going to bless this city. God speaking to the Israelites in Jeremiah spoke about what the city was to become, and I want to just appropriate that verse to us as a city.."

And this city shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth who shall hear of all the good that I do for them. They shall fear and tremble because of all the good and all the prosperity I provide for it. (Jeremiah 33:9).

Jeremiah 33:6-18 is a prophecy about Millennial Jerusalem and the future restoration of national Israel. The context of Jeremiah 33:6-9 concerns the Lord's eternal covenant with Israel and millennial blessings. The appropriation of a single verse of scripture from Old Testament prophecy completely out of context is highly irresponsible, it violates every method of sound hermeneutics and it goes beyond what it written. (Proverbs 30:6; 1 Corinthians 4:6). Since the New Testament does not accommodate Hind's agenda, the only way he can justify his "vision" is by using inappropriate Old Testament scriptures out of context. The commission given to the church by Jesus Christ is to preach the true gospel and make disciples as outlined in Matthew 28:16-20. God gives the growth. (1 Corinthians 3:6-7). Church leaders should not be building empires or seeking to expand their numbers by ungodly methods and unholy alliances, for example: ecumenism, tithing, soliciting funding from government grants and the National Lottery Community Fund. (Jeremiah 2:13) ..what fellowship has light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14). ..it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. (Romans 9:16-18).

There is no example of a multisite church in the New Testament. The clear scriptural model is that of Paul and Barnabus, whose practice was to plant new churches, to appoint leaders with prayer and fasting, and to release them into the care of the Lord: And when they had appointed elders for them in every church, with prayer and fasting they committed them to the Lord in whom they had believed. (Acts 14:23 cf. 2 Timothy 2:2; Titus 1:5).

Hind: "We believe there is a harvest coming.. God has amazing plans for Leicester and we are to remain expectant.. God has an amazing plan for One Church.. My dear friend Martin who leads a brilliant church in Coventry.. prophetically recently said to our staff..  He has decided to bless us, expand us and move us to another level... "

Hind's "appropriation" of further Old Testament passages of scripture:

* Deuteronomy 1 ~ This chapter concerns Israel's possession of the land of Canaan.
* Ezekiel 37 ~ ..these bones are the whole house of Israel. (Ezekiel 37:11).
* Ezekiel 47 ~ is a millennial passage and concerns the millennial river under Gods temple.
* Isaiah 54-55 ~ concerns the future blessings of Zion during the millennium

None of the above passages are applicable to the New Testament church. These speculations are extremely concerning and cannot possibly warrant serious consideration. Repetitive statements that "This is God's will", manic presentations complete with unnatural hand gestures and exaggerated body language do not impress God and will not make "revival" happen! For the first time today, it struck me that Hind's behaviour should provoke our genuine concern about his spiritual and mental condition.

In their own words..

The gospel was not preached at all by Hind during this message; rather, it was a graphic demonstration of the usual hype we have heard repeatedly from false megachurch leaders and wannabes.

Hind: "He has an amazing plan for One Church. We believe we are about to grow, plant out, see hundreds of people finding Jesus, being baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit. We are expectant of a move of God and a fresh demonstration of His healing power."

Hind also read aloud various "prophecies" received from members of his congregation:

Simon at One Church: "I saw a giant sword that was wide and long. Its handle was studded with many gemstones, and as I looked at the sword I saw that within it there were many smaller swords of different sizes and shapes. And I saw written down the blade of many blades 'One Church".. and I heard the Lord say 'Your willingness to steward  the many small swords has now opened the way for you to steward the big. And I heard Him say 'The significance of the big is found because of the empowerment of the many'. And I saw a network of works birthed that reached beyond the borders of the UK, and I also saw blades you had not forged added into the large blade. And I saw one sword was rooted in Leicester, yet its reach went far beyond. Then as I watched I saw many broken swords. They came and were re-forged and fixed. They came and walked alongside for a time then they went out again, and I heard the Lord say 'You will be known as a house of healing and a house of restoration.' I saw leaders, churches, ministries and businesses coming and being restored and I saw people streaming to the building. They came in rags, but were sent away re-dressed. And I heard the Lord say 'There are words you have held for many years that have been on hold that will now begin to come into manifestation. This is a fulfilment season, an outbreak season.'"  (33:00 mark)

Mary an elder at One Church: "I sensed the Lord was speaking to us from Psalm 84.. I sensed that we should not settle but that we should fix our hearts on the pilgrimage. As we do this, we will find strength in Him and know His blessing together.."

Susan Hind: "Susan wanted to say.. from Joshua 3:3 where Joshua said to the people 'Purify yourselves for tomorrow the Lord will do great wonders among you.. God is doing a new thing and we have not been this way before.."

I will not comment on the above, except to say that Hind et al have now openly committed themselves to an early fulfilment of the long awaited prophecies of revival in Leicester. Lets see if genuine revival comes to pass in the near future shall we?

End time revival or apostasy?

The revival mantra of the false prophets has no biblical foundation whatsoever. No prophecy of an end time revival exists in the New Testament. The New Testament prophesies rampant spiritual deception, apostasy, false prophets, lying signs and wonders, birth pains.. and ultimately worldwide spiritual deception under the Antichrist. (Revelation 13:14). We should be very wary of those who prophesy "revival" or "awakening". False prophets tickle itching ears and tell us what we want to hear, not what we need to hear. (2 Timothy 4:3).

For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. (Matthew 7:14-15)

TLC (One Church) still manage to include 666 in their coffee shop photos, despite having replaced the third 6 with 108. The historic connection between TLC and 666 is bizarre and highly disturbing.

TRINITY LIFE CHURCH LEICESTER: HEROES OR VILLAINS?

TLC Online | 24th October, 11am - YouTube

Listening to Susan Hind teach on Nehemiah 4 at Trinity Life Church in Leicester (Assemblies of God), reminded me of their previous pastor, Brian Niblock and his admiration for Smith Wigglesworth. It makes me wonder if any of these teachers really do their due diligence in researching their supposed "heroes of the faith". Some years after I left TLC I did some research on Smith Wigglesworth, and the results were horrifying. {1}

Susan Hind's heroes apparently include Freemason Billy Graham and his mentor and close associate Raymond Edman who was a missionary in Ecuador for a time. Susan related the story of Edman's alleged miraculous healing from typhoid. Edman went on to become the fourth President of Wheaton College in Illinois in 1940, a position he held until he became chancellor in 1965. {2} Raymond Edman was a personal friend of Billy Graham and often worked with him on his crusades. Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones was not so easily diverted from the gospel, and he went to great efforts to reason with Billy Graham about his compromise with Roman Catholics and liberals. However, after a long discussion, he failed to convince Graham that inclusivism with false churches was sinful. The outcome was that Martyn Lloyd-Jones refused to endorse or share a platform with Billy Graham. Apart from Graham's obvious disloyalty to the gospel, the seed sown was almost guaranteed to be snatched away by the false churches he sent responders to! (Matthew 13:19 cf. 2 Corinthians 11:3).

"In 1963 Billy Graham asked Dr Lloyd-Jones to chair the first World Congress on Evangelism (eventually held in Berlin in 1966; predecessor to Lausanne). Dr Lloyd-Jones told Billy Graham that if he would stop having liberals and Roman Catholics on his platform and drop the invitation system he would support and chair the Congress.
Billy Graham would not change his views, and Dr Lloyd-Jones declined to endorse or commend or work with him. No doubt the meeting between them was courteously conducted (it lasted three hours) but the outcome was a firm application of secondary separation.
Dr Lloyd-Jones adopted the same attitude to Billy Graham's London crusades. He took the view, and stated it publicly, that to have visible unity with those who are opposed to essential matters of salvation was sinful. (He also believed the invitation system was a source of mass-delusion and harm to churches.)
Despite Billy Graham's high standing with most British evangelicals, the enthusiastic support he received from the secular media, the fact that his name was a household word, and despite the significant place in world evangelicalism that he was offering to Dr Lloyd-Jones, the latter stood by his biblical principle, and declined all the overtures. He would not commend or work with Dr Billy Graham. This is true loyalty to God’s Word, and protectiveness of one’s congregation."
{3}

Billy Graham showed his true colours in 1997 during his interview with Robert Schuller when he denied the gospel and said that all people are saved whether or not they have heard the gospel. Those who insist on portraying Billy Graham as a "hero of the faith" sugar coat the real issues and are dishonest.

Billy Graham: "..whether they come from the Muslim world, or the Buddhist world, or the Christian world or the non-believing world, they are members of the Body of Christ because they've been called by God. They may not even know the name of Jesus but they know in their hearts that they need something that they don't have, and they turn to the only light that they have, and I think that they are saved, and that they're going to be with us in heaven." {4}

What foundation are TLC building on?

No one who is truly saved should have anything to do with the false gospel of Roman Catholicism. (John 4:24). The very first injunction to church leaders is to hold the line doctrinally and to protect believers from spiritual deception. All the nice sounding advice and all the pep talks in the world from Susan Hind do not alter the fact that the primary obligation of leaders is to teach sound doctrine - this is the foundation of the church. TLC are not particular about associating with false teachers, and their ungodly actions are a contradiction and an offence to the gospel of Jesus Christ. The bizarre episode of their Coffee House and its association with 666 is still something that I find inexplicable! Without sound doctrine, TLC are wasting their time trying to build anything of real value. TLC is a superficial church that has been badly let down by its leaders. (Matthew 5:13).

if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do? (Psalm 11:3-4).

Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers. (1 Timothy 4:16).

We will not be persecuted by a Sanballat, a Tobiah or "Arabs Ammonites and Ashdodites" if the temple we are building is devoid of sound doctrine. (Nehemiah 4:7).

According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.(1 Corinthians 3:10-15).

TRINITY LIFE CHURCH LEICESTER: PRAY FOR CHANGE

I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. (Acts 20:29-30).

In this short video we see David and Susan Hind of Trinity Life Church Leicester (Assemblies of God) with the same old "revival" mantra that we have heard repeated year on year from charismatic and Pentecostal leaders. They never question why their "revival" mantra never comes to anything.

Susan Hind begins the mantra by quoting the first part of Jeremiah 33:9, which she says, over the years, many people have prayed "over our city". TLC are not particular about accurately quoting the scriptures, and what Susan Hind says does not come from any bible translation that I know of. The ESV translation is below:

And this city shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth who shall hear of all the good that I do for them. They shall fear and tremble because of all the good and all the prosperity I provide for it. (Jeremiah 9:33).

Susan Hind: "Right now the eyes of the world are on Leicester and Leicestershire... so what about if God was about to break in to our city and county?"

David Hind continues with the words from the song "Change" by Bright City:

We can see a change coming
Our God is here to save
We can see a change coming
The streets are filled with praise
We can see a change coming
The church will take her place
We can see a change coming
Revival’s on its way
{1}

David Hind: "God is at work here in Leicestershire."  Hind should be fearful about praying Matthew 6:10: Your kingdom come, your will be done.. He continues: "..and for the name of Jesus to be honored.. Jesus take your place here in Leicestershire." These words are very likely to come back to bite him. God will not bless the false shepherds of the ecumenical movement ~ they will be held accountable. (Ezekiel 34:2-5).

THE QUESTION IS: WILL THEY CHANGE?
In general, the "professing church" seem oblivious to the fact that the present situation may in fact be a judgement from God, not only upon our godless nation, but also upon mainstream apostate "Christian" denominations. These false teachers go through the same old "revival" routine, never mentioning the blood of Jesus or repentance, and never warning the body of Christ about the impending crisis that will come upon the whole world in the shape of the Antichrist. (1 John 2:18).

This is what they do: They take a verse of scripture out of context and make it applicable to their own delusion. In this case Susan Hind inaccurately quotes half a verse of scripture that actually applies to Israel's future restoration.

I have hidden My face from this city because of all its wickedness. Nevertheless, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal its people and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth. I will restore Judah and Israel from captivity and will rebuild them as in former times. And I will cleanse them from all the iniquity they have committed against Me, and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against Me. (Jeremiah 33:5-8).

The entire context of Jeremiah 33 concerns Israel's iniquity and the promise of her final future restoration when Jesus Christ, the Messiah whom they rejected, returns. The time of "cleansing" refers to “the time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7) during the great tribulation. Surviving Israel will trust in their Messiah and be grafted back into their own olive tree (Romans 11:24). The apostle Paul writes: And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”; “and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.” (Romans 11:26-27 cf. Zechariah 12:10, 13:1, 14:4; Matthew 23:39; Acts 3:19-22).

The Hinds attempt to shoe horn Jeremiah 33:9 into some magical "revival" can be found nowhere in the scriptures. At the same time, they choose to ignore essential prophetic material specifically applicable to the last days, warnings that believers urgently need to hear:

As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age? And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains. (Matthew 24:3-8)

Avoid such people.. while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. (2 Timothy 3:1-5,13).

And someone said to him, “Lord, will those who are saved be few?” And he said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. (Luke 13:23-24).

The Ticking TLC Time Bomb

Since David Hind's controversial appointment at TLC in 2007, many things have taken root that are contrary to the scriptures. The leadership at TLC have a troubling "carry on regardless" mindset, ignoring both the scriptures and the genuine concerns of godly believers.

  • LOTTERY FUNDING = UNGODLY APPROVAL OF GAMBLING
  • PREACHING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST IS PROHIBITED AT OPEN HANDS AS A CONDITION OF RECEIVING BIG LOTTERY FUNDING
  • TLC MUST DEMONSTRABLY BELIEVE AND ABIDE BY UNBIBLICAL SECULAR EQUALITY VALUES AS A CONDITION OF SECURING LOTTERY FUNDING
  • THEOCRACY: UNBIBLICAL TOP HEAVY LEADERSHIP (ACTS 15:22)
  • NEPOTISM: SENIOR FAMILIAL APPOINTMENTS
  • ROCK MUSIC VERSUS WORSHIP
  • CHURCH GROWTH BASED ON THE MEGA CHURCH CAMPUS MODEL
  • VIOLATION OF THE SCRIPTRUAL BLUEPRINT FOR AUTONOMOUS CONGREGATIONS (ACTS 14:23)
  • HOST TO FALSE TEACHER/PROPHET MARK STIBBE IN 2011
  • VALIDATION OF ARCH DECEIVER AND NECROMANCER BENNY HINN IN 2014
  • INVOLVEMENT WITH ECUMENICAL CHURCHES TOGETHER IN 2014

  • ADAM SIMMONDS ILLEGAL REMOVAL OF TWO OF MY POSTS IN FEBRUARY 2014
  • BLATANT SATANIC 666 DISPLAY AT OPEN HANDS 6 DEGREES COFFEE HOUSE

David Hind's early compromise with ecumenism continues to be an issue as he participates with more than 100 churches in the ecumenical event ~ Praying For Leicestershire. {2} True believers should "mark and avoid" those leaders/churches that have taken part in this event, some of whom are named below:

Mark Pasimupindu - Church For All Nations International
Josh Gardiner - Associate Pastor KingsGate Community Church
Andrew Upton - Knighton Free Church
Elaine Sutherland - Vicar Holy Trinity Church
John McGinley - Associate Vicar Holy Trinity Church/New Wine leader
Martyn Snow - Bishop of Leicester
David Hind - Trinity Life Church
Susan Hind - Trinity Life Church
Odeh Akatu - Trinity Life Church
Rachel Bhanu - Chroma Church

I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. (Romans 16:17).
