PRETRIB RAPTURE: MARK HITCHCOCK'S FAKE DISCOVERY AND ENDORSEMENT OF JIMMY EVANS!

Ancient Evidence for a Pre-Trib Rapture | Marking the End Times

Mark Hitchcock: "Today, I unveil compelling historical evidence that challenges one of the most common objections to the pre-Tribulation Rapture—that it was never taught before 1830. Through examining newly discovered writings from Irenaeus, a second-century church father who learned from those who knew the apostles, we find clear support for a pre-Tribulation Rapture view. Along with subscriber-exclusive answers to crucial questions about salvation, judgment, and end-times prophecy, this teaching provides both historical and biblical evidence for Christ's imminent return. In this episode's Q&A session, I answer questions about core theological issues such as clarifying salvation by grace versus the Judgment Seat of Christ, exploring Isaiah 17's prophecy regarding Damascus and Syria, understanding where raptured Christians will dwell, and whether any unbelievers will survive the Great Tribulation."

According to Hitchcock the first pretrib source before Darby was discovered in the 1990s. He is referring to Pseudo-Ephraem which has been debunked as a pretib document many times. Pseudo-Ephraem teaches that Christians will escape the tribulation through death not rapture. I have added a link below in which researcher and writer Dave MacPherson debunks this false claim.

Mark Hitchcock's muddled quotation from Irenaeus

Irenaeus (c.120–c.202)

And they [the ten kings who shall arise] shall lay Babylon waste, and burn her with fire, and shall give their kingdom to the beast, and put the Church to flight. (Against Heresies, V, 26, 1) And therefore, when in the end the Church shall be suddenly caught up from this, it is said, “There shall be tribulation such as has not been since the beginning, neither shall be.” For this is the last contest of the righteous, in which, when they overcome they are crowned with incorruption. (Against Heresies, V, 29, 1) It is therefore more certain, and less hazardous, to await the fulfillment of the prophecy [Antichrist], than to be making surmises, and casting about for any names that may present themselves, inasmuch as many names can be found possessing the number mentioned; and the same question will, after all, remain unsolved. . . . But he indicates the number of the name now, that when this man [Antichrist] comes we may avoid him, being aware who he is. (Against Heresies, V, 30, 3, 4) For all these and other words were unquestionably spoken in reference to the resurrection of the just, which takes place after the coming of Antichrist . . . . [A]nd [with respect to] those whom the Lord shall find in the flesh, awaiting Him from heaven, and who have suffered tribulation, as well as escaped the hands of the Wicked one. (Against Heresies, V, 35, 1)1

This document is a proof text for the prewrath rapture. Hitchcock reads a small section of Irenaeus out of context. He then goes on to admit: "..in another place Irenaeus goes on to indicate that the church will be on earth during the tribulation so there seems to be a contradiction."  Evidence that the pretib doctrine began in the 18th century with cult leader John Nelson Darby remains despite ongoing fruitless efforts of the pretrib camp to deny it.

Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered (episunagōgēs) together to him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4).

* episunagōgēs = gathering together: in context, the rapture at the Lord's coming.

Jimmy Evans is disqualified!

Mark Hitchcock's endorsement of Jimmy Evans as an "expert" is beyond comprehension! I thought that endorsing Jimmy Evans would be below even the pretrib camp but apparently not!

Having been publicly exposed and disgraced as an abuser and a false marriage counselor, Jimmy Evans is "transitioning" out of XO Marriage and intends to devote himself to endtimes.com. full time. God help his viewers!

The Roys Report: "Daystar cancels prophecy program as Evans launches his..
The Roys Report (TRR) has also learned that Daystar abruptly canceled a long-running prophecy program on its network in July 2022. Days after the cancelation, Evans ran five, on-demand specials on Daystar titled almost identically to the canceled ministry.
On a recording of a May 2023 meeting between Evans, Joni, Doug, Jonathan, and Suzy, Joni states that she began talking to Evans about her relationship with Doug Weiss when these scheduling changes were taking place—July 2022.
The ministry whose show Daystar canceled was called Endtime Ministries, and the ministry website is endtime.com. Endtime Ministries was founded in 1986 by Irvin Baxter and had run a program on Daystar since 2009, called “End of the Age.”
The specials Evans ran on Daystar’s app and YouTube channel were entitled 'End Times' and the website for Evans’ new prophecy ministry is endtimes.com.
Endtime Ministries CEO Vince Stegall told TRR that the abrupt cancelation of his show and launching of Evans’ show was deeply disappointing and puzzling to his ministry. He said it also was confusing to viewers.
'We were getting calls, shortly after we were off, from the television audience,' Stegall said. 'And they wanted to know what happened to our host and why there’s this new guy named Jimmy on there . . .
'We still get emails and calls trying to figure out why our website is so different. It’s pretty confusing when you just add an ‘s.’

According to Endtime CEO Vince Stegall, Daystar claimed it cancelled 'End of the Age' because of a drop in viewership, following the death of founder Irvin Baxter. But Stegall said his buyer, who negotiated Endtime’s contract with Daystar, said that wasn’t true.Vince Stegall (Photo: Facebook)
'Our buyer has access to the software for TV ratings and he provided a lengthy explanation including (r)ating showing End of the Age is in the top 15 shows on Daystar every week,' Stegall wrote in a 2022 newsletter to supporters. '(A)nd our DVR numbers are generally 20-23% whereas the average for the rest of Daystar is 10%.
'In short, our buyer said, ‘This is clearly not a viewership issue and I can provide anything you need to make that argument.’ So there is obviously more to this than they are sharing.'
Jonathan Lamb told TRR that Daystar canceling a show mid-year is 'unheard of,' unless there’s a scandal or the ministry can’t pay the network fees.
However, Stegall said Endtime Ministries had no scandal and was current on its payments.."2

It appears that Joni Lamb and Jimmy Evans hoped that their unethical move against Endtime Ministries would fly under the radar. (Numbers 32:23). However, some viewers questioned the puzzling change of presenter, not realizing that Endtime Ministries and Endtimes Ministries are two different ministries entirely! This devious name change and the usurpation of Endtime Ministries' time slot on Daystar is unworthy of a reputable man of God. As contemptible as this is, it gets even worse! Evans has introduced a critical shift in doctrine during this timeslot. Endtime Ministries taught what is referred to as the posttrib rapture view.1 Although the posttrib rapture view has some problems, it does not hold out false hope to believers of escaping the great tribulation. Evans' underhand switch from the posttrib view taught by Endtime Ministries to pretrib no doubt appeals to "itching ears". (2 Timothy 4:3). As many have observed, the false NAR Word-Faith prosperity teachers incessantly aired on Daystar are adept at giving false hope to believers. Within the biblical context, false hope refers to misplaced trust or confidence in things, people, or circumstances that ultimately cannot deliver what they promise. The Bible warns against placing hope in anything other than God, as such hope is deceptive and leads to disappointment and spiritual peril. (Jeremiah 23:16). The danger of pretrib teaching is the possibility that many will fall away during the great tribulation due to what they will regard as the "failed" prophecy of Jesus' return before the 70th week of Daniel. (Matthew 24:10-15 cf. Daniel 9:27).

Jimmy Evans is much more than a spiritual abuser to Jonathan and Suzy Lamb with his claim that "Joni is the voice of God"; he is much more than a dishonorable man who has no qualms about cutting in on another ministry and pulling a fast one for his own advantage; he is much more than a dangerous false teacher who has led believers into adulterous marriages; Jimmy Evans is a full-blown wolf who is so corrupt that he has no qualms about endangering the faith of his hearers! Evans fruit testifies against him! Mark and avoid this man. (Romans 16:17-18).

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits. (Matthew 7:15-20).

These are hidden reefs at your love feasts, as they feast with you without fear, shepherds feeding themselves; waterless clouds, swept along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, uprooted; wild waves of the sea, casting up the foam of their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved forever. (1Jude:12-13).

MICHAEL GRANT'S QUESTION: WHY ARE "GOOD" TEACHERS STAYING AT DAYSTAR?

Michael Grant: "According to Protestia Joyce Meyer and other false teachers like Jesse Duplantis have already left Daystar yet men like Hibbs, Ray Comfort, David Jeremiah, Michael Youseff and others are staying? Why? Watch as I explain why Joyce is leaving and what it might take for others to leave so that Daystar Television Network implodes once and for all."

Birds of a feather flock together!

Michael Grant is the pastor of Moore's Corner Church which is an independent Non-Denominational Church in Leverett MA.1 Michael Grant asks a very pertinent question, but it comes with the assumption that teachers like Jack Hibbs, Ray Comfort, David Jeremiah, and Michael Youseff are "good" teachers. I will attempt to answer his question in this post. It is my contention that no self-respecting bible teacher should air their programmes on TBN and Daystar. If you dig below the surface, many apparently credible ministries have red flags. The rare exceptions on Daystar with sound doctrine show no wisdom by associating with apostates. (1 Corinthians 15:33). I know very little about Michael Youseff and I will not discuss him in this post. However, there are tangible red flags concerning David Jeremiah, Jack Hibbs, and Prophecy Watchers.

Jack Hibbs shocking endorsement of NAR "apostolic leader" Che Ahn: "Pastor Che Ahn-Invited by Pastor Jack Hibbs and Spoke at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills—"2  Hibbs has no problem appearing on Table Talk with Joni Lamb! At best Hibbs is very short-sighted and unwise. At worst, and this is my suspicion, Hibbs is closet NAR.

David Jeremiah: On March 12th, 2015 David Jeremiah interviewed Roman Catholic New Age heretics Roman Downey and Mark Burnett on stage at Shadow Mountain Community Church.3
David Jeremiah helped to draft and was a signatory of the ecumenical document: Evangelicals and Catholics Together in 1994.4
For more information about David Jeremiah's various compromises see the following links:

Prophecy Watchers: There are probably financial reasons and contractual obligations that preclude an easy exit from Daystar for some ministries. It appears that Prophecy Watchers hosts Mondo Gonzalez and Gary Stearman have a more complex relationship with TBN and Daystar than other ministries, although they are not giving much away. Prophecy Watchers are tainted in their own right and give a platform to false teachers such as Jonathan Cahn who claims to be "prophetic", "Reverend" Donna Howell, Nephilim "expert" LA Marzulli, "prophecy expert" and speculator Bill Salus, and recently disgraced spiritual abuser Jimmy Evans who has given up marriage counseling in order to teach eschatology. Like many false ministries, Prophecy Watchers constantly peddle their merchandise. (2 Corinthians 2:17). Berean Research observed in 2016: "Prophecy Watchers are morphing into a mixed apocalyptic bag".5

In 2019 Gary Stearman and Bob Ulrich announced, "A New Day is Dawning at Prophecy Watchers..  A grand opening of the former TBN Broadcasting Studios and headquarters in Oklahoma. Prophecy Watchers certainly seem to enjoy the favour of Daystar. Whether they have the favour of God is another question! (Proverbs 3:3-4). The Roys Report: Curiously, Prophecy Watchers stated on a video entitled, “Laying Out a Fleece and a Daystar Miracle!” that it had canceled its previous contract with Daystar due to lack of finances sometime before July 25, 2022. But shortly after doing that, Daystar called Prophecy Watchers and offered it a better time slot than it had previously at a reduced rate, said Prophecy Watchers COO Bob Ulrich.
TRR reached out to Daystar and asked why the network would cancel a full-paying customer, like Endtime Ministries, and replace it with Prophecy Watchers at a reduced rate. Daystar did not respond to our question."6

Ray Comfort  ~ In 2008 Ray Comfort was challenged about speaking at a conference with Word-Faith prosperity teachers. Ray Comfort's reply (below) is very troubling. (Proverbs 3:5). In the Old Testament, individual disobedience threatened the entire community; the commandment of God was that the individual was subject to the penalty of death in order to preserve the purity of the entire nation. (Deuteronomy 13:1-18). The consequences of not heeding the commandments outlined in the Torah was that Israel would suffer the curses outlined in Deuteronomy 28:1-68. In the New Testament, the scriptural imperative is to mark and avoid false teachers. (Romans 16:17-18 cf. 1 Corinthians 5:11; 2 Thessalonians 3:6). The consequence of disobeying this imperative is to put the body of Christ at risk of defilement. (Matthew 24:11; 1 Corinthians 5:13; 2 Corinthians 11:4). Furthermore to enter into contractual obligations with false teachers is to be yoked together with them and keeps greedy money preachers and false prophets afloat. (2 Corinthians 6:14).

Ray Comfort: "I have never turned down any request to speak because I thought that the church’s doctrine was unbiblical. In fact, they are the invitations I have gladly accepted because I know that false conversions are the fruit of their heretical doctrines. Unsaved people sit in pews in the millions in this country because they have never heard the biblical gospel–and I have to say with Paul, 'How will they hear without a preacher?'
What I have been doing for all these years has been below the radar screen of public scrutiny, until recently. Suddenly the spotlights are on and I am targeted (and fired at) as one that is endorsing false doctrine.
I am not and have never been a prosperity preacher. I think it is a great error to say that Jesus was rich, etc., or to come to Him for wealth. I preach the simple gospel of Jesus Christ crucified for the sin of the world. That is the heart and soul of my preaching and teaching."
May I implore you, dear friend–what would you do? Imagine you were invited to speak at an event or church where false teaching has created false converts. You know that a thousand people will hear a true Gospel presentation from your lips. Would you turn down the invitation?7

The majority of teachers associated with Daystar promote the pretribulation rapture. Just as the prosperity gospel holds out false hope to believers, the pretrib rapture also holds out false hope to believers. (Mathew 24:21). The reality is that this doctrine is likely to devastate many believers in the final generation. The critical concern of those who reject the pretrib rapture is the prospect that many believers will "fall away" during the great tribulation due to lack of preparation and the shock that the promised "pretrib rapture" has failed their expectations. (Matthew 24:10). It is not a good idea to base eschatology on the teachings of cult leader John Nelson Darby and fictional "Left Behind" theology. Some argue that eschatology is an in-house secondary issue that we should not be overly concerned about. While it is possible to be saved without a clear understanding of eschatology, in my view this is a critical subject. Jesus' explicit warning about the end of the age is: See that no one leads you astray. (Matthew 24:4 cf. 2 Thessalonians 2:3). Since one-third of the bible concerns prophecy, believers are responsible for studying the scriptures and testing the spirits. (2 Timothy 2:15; 1 John 4:1).

LANCE WALLNAU GASLIGHTING: THE DAYSTAR SCANDAL

Lance Wallnau Addresses Daystar Scandal

The Roys Report: "Televangelist Lance Wallnau doesn't mention why he's pulling his program from scandal-ridden Daystar TV. Instead, he posts a video Jan. 5, 2025, attributing the uproar over the scandal at Daystar to a 'spirit of strife.' And chastises people commenting on the situation, saying they likely are just acting out of their own unresolved issues."

False prophet and teacher Lance Wallnau is an influential leader in the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) and a proponent of Seven Mountain Dominionism. Wallnau is a self-described Christian nationalist who supports the absurd claim that Donald Trump's presidency is "walking us through the Cyrus prophecy of Isaiah 45.” See the links at the end of this post for more information about Dominion Theology.

Wallnau seeks to suppress the sins of Daystar and other apostate ministries and cloak them in darkness, hence his negligible attempt to silence their critics. (John 3:20; Romans 1:18); Proverbs 28:11). Wallnau accuses those speaking out against Daystar as "meddlers with a spirit of strife". When I heard this accusation it reminded me of King Ahab's accusation against Elijah: When Ahab saw Elijah, Ahab said to him, “Is it you, you troubler of Israel?” And he answered, “I have not troubled Israel, but you have, and your father’s house, because you have abandoned the commandments of the Lord and followed the Baals. (1 Kings 18:17-18).

Wallnau: "Don't get into a spirit of strife. You are not called to be a commentator on everything that is happening..  I don't know when the Body of Christ decided it has the authority to meddle with everyone else's business.."

Actually, believers have a mandate to judge false teachers and to bring sin into the light.

But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.” (1 Corinthians 5:11-13 cf. Deuteronomy 17:7,21:21).

Bible Hub: "The Greek word used here is 'ἐξάρατε' (exarate), which means to remove or drive out. This is a strong directive, indicating the seriousness with which the church should handle sin within its community. The act of expulsion is not merely punitive but is intended to protect the church's integrity and encourage repentance and restoration. Historically, this practice was rooted in the Jewish tradition of maintaining community purity, and Paul adapts it to the Christian context to preserve the sanctity of the church."1

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,
“Awake, O sleeper,
and arise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.” (Ephesians 5:6-13).

Bible Hub: "The Greek word for 'expose' is 'ἐλέγχετε' (elegchete), which means to reprove, rebuke, or bring to light. This is not merely a call to criticize but to reveal the truth and offer correction."2

Wallnau distorts Luke 12:13-15 in an absurd attempt to support his warped argument. He accuses Daystar's retractors of having wrong motives. Does Wallnau have authority to judge someone else's motives?

Someone in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.” But he said to him, “Man, who made me a judge or arbitrator over you?” And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” (Luke 12:13-15).

Jesus' response to the questioner was one of grave censure and indignation. (ἄνθρωπε, man! The word is sternly repressive. Comp. Romans 2:1.).3 It was not Jesus' mission to involve himself in temporal disputes. Interfering in such a matter would have opened the floodgates and given the impression of temporal authority. Jesus' kingdom was not of this world. (John 18:36). Wallnau expands on Jesus' response and goes on to second guess the motives of those calling out false ministries by accusing them of having a problem with authority. By the way, covetousness is something NAR money preachers know all about!

Wallnau second guesses Jesus: "'Who gave me jurisdiction over your family dispute? Did my father do
it? You're bringing your problem to me and making me obligated to fix it, rather beware of covetousness.' ..He went right to the root issue in that person which was: if you're not walking sanctified and you're not walking clean, and if you've got a problem with authority.. Let me tell you something, and this is going to it's going to go down like a rat sandwich, but I've ministered for 40 years and a whole lot of people that have issues with church actually have issues in themselves, like 'church authorities is abusive'. Ask them, 'What was your relationship like with your mom and dad?' 'My father my father' then know you find out. People tend, if they don't really do a meticulous job of cleaning out their own closet, they tend to find the other person's closet a fascination. So it's not to say there aren't a whole lot of righteous Christians that are being led by God to do what they're doing. I don't even judge people that get involved with these things. There are preachers that are preaching on these scandals.. I will assume that they are hearing God, but that doesn't mean I'm obligated to have to have a commentary on every one of the seven scandals.. God loves us enough to not deal with us according to our sins, and so we have to have a little bit more of an evangelist heart in the church and beware of strife, its a spirit.."

Wallnau's response is pure gaslighting and scripture twisting. The sin issues connected with Daystar, Gateway Church, IHOP, and the other false ministries being exposed are off-the-chart depraved behavior and sexual abuse on a level that defiles the church and brings the gospel into disrepute. (2 Peter 2:2). True believers should not accept self-appointed leaders who claim authority when their fruit is rotten and they blatantly abuse their alleged position. (Matthew 7:15-20; 2 Peter 2:1; Jude 1:4; Acts 20:29-30; 1 Timothy 4:1-2; Romans 16:17-18).

The "I've ministered for forty years" line.. This bluster was also flaunted by Jimmy Evans and Joni Lamb as an intimidation tactic against Jonathan and Suzy Lamb.4 For this boast to mean anything, we would expect them to rightly interpret the scriptures. (2 Timothy 2:15; Galatians 6:3). Since this is not the case, their forty-plus years in "ministry" are meaningless.

He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. (Psalm 103:10 cf. 2 Corinthians 5:19). Wallnau is right, God does not deal with us as our sins deserve. However, this promise is conditional upon repentance. (Acts 3:19). I have seen no repentance from these wolves. (1 John 1:9; Hebrews 8:12). Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains. (John 9:41; 1 John 1:8-10).

JIMMY EVANS DEVIOUS SWITCHEROO TO THE PRETRIB RAPTURE ON DAYSTAR

Jimmy Evans Announces He’s Leaving XO Marriage, After Daystar Backlash

Having been publicly exposed and disgraced as a false marriage counselor, Jimmy Evans is "transitioning" out of XO Marriage and intends to devote himself to endtimes.com. full time. God help his viewers!

Evans' switcheroo from the posttrib view taught by Endtime Ministries to pretrib no doubt appeals to "itching ears". (Jeremiah 23:16).2 The danger of pretrib teaching is the possibility that many will fall away during the great tribulation due to what they will regard as the "failed" prophecy of Jesus' return before the 70th week of Daniel. (Matthew 24:10-15 cf. Daniel 9:27).

The pre-trib rapture is based on the teaching of cult leader John Nelson Darby and fictional "Left Behind" eschatology. This view has been effectively debunked by a number of trustworthy bible teachers.

Jesus cautioned his disciples: Remember, I have told you ahead of time" (Mattew 24:25).

Paul cautioned believers: Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered (episunagōgēs) together to him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.

Jimmy Evans is much more than a despicable bully to Jonathan and Suzy Lamb with his claim that "Joni is the voice of God"; he is much more than a dishonorable man who has no qualms about cutting in on another ministry and pulling a fast one for his own advantage; he is much more than a dangerous false teacher who has led believers into adulterous marriages; Jimmy Evans is a full-blown wolf who is so corrupt that he has no qualms about endangering the faith of his hearers! Evans fruit testifies against him! Mark and avoid this man. (Romans 16:17-18).

JIMMY EVANS DISQUALIFIED: FALSE TEACHING ON MANY LEVELS

Signs of the Very End Times | Tipping Point with Jimmy Evans

Following his disgraceful behaviour towards Jonathan and Suzie Lamb and his false claim that Joni Lamb is "the voice of God", one would think that Jimmy Evans would publicly apologize for his disgusting behaviour and quietly withdraw. Like other false teachers, Evans doesn't care about the damage he does to the body of Christ. How many adulterous marriages has Jimmy Evans caused with his false teaching that divorce and remarriage are permitted for any of his contrived and unbiblical "four A's" -~ abuse, addiction, adultery, or abandonment? This is a very serious charge. Even after being publicly disgraced and exposed, Evans continues to churn out false teachings regardless of the consequences. Evans seems confident that he is going to heaven, but I fear he will be one of the many false teachers to whom Jesus says "I never knew you" unless he repents(Matthew 7:16-23).

Not only is Evans in grave error about divorce and remarriage and Joni Lamb being the "voice of God", it should not surprise anyone that he is also wrong about the rapture. No verse in the bible teaches a pretrib rapture. Evans' pretrib teaching is inaccurate in several key specifics. (1 John 4:1).

I will mention two of the various issues in the above video from the Tipping Point Prophecy Conference 2024.

Mark Biltz's blood moon astrology nonsense has nothing to do with Joel 2:31-32. Biltz is a Hebrew Roots teacher which is a major red flag. The expression "blood moon" gained popularity in 2013 when false teachers Mark Biltz and John Hagee announced the upcoming lunar tetrad (April 14 and October 8, 2014; April 8 and September 28, 2015) in apocalyptic terms. Needless to say, nothing apocalyptic happened in 2015.

The blood moon will not be an isolated phenomenon, rather it will be one of a "cluster" of cosmic disturbances that will occur after the great tribulation of the Antichrist.1

Immediately after the tribulation of those days: ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’ (Matthew 24:19).

But in those days, after that tribulation: ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; / the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’ (Mark 13:24-25).

And I watched as the Lamb opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black like sackcloth of goat hair, and the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars of the sky fell to the earth like unripe figs dropping from a tree shaken by a great wind. The sky receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved from its place. Then the kings of the earth, the nobles, the commanders, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and free man hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. And they said to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the One seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb. For the great day of Their wrath has come, and who is able to withstand it?” (Revelation 6:12-17).

The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes. (Joel 2:31-32 cf. Acts 2:20).

See also Luke 21:25; Isaiah 13:10,34:4; Ezekiel 32:7-8; Amos 5:20; Zephaniah 1:15; Malachi 4:5.

Furthermore, there is no evidence that Ezekiel 37-38 is the Gog Magog prophecy. This prophecy occurs in Revelation 20:28 which is set in a millennial timeframe.

Pretrib "prophecy experts" often speculate about Russia and the "end times". However, claims of a Russian connection with Gog/Magog in Ezekiel 37 and 38 are hotly debated by expositors. The majority of Hebrew scholars reject the translation of rosh as a proper noun. Gog and Magog are mentioned jointly in the scriptures. The Table of Nations in Genesis 10 identifies Magog as a people group who are among the descendants of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. (Genesis 10:2). In Ezekiel 39 Gog is identified as an individual: the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.. from the uttermost parts of the north. (Ezekiel 39:1-2). Critics are divided as to the people and country intended under these names. The Scythians, the Goths, the Persians and several other nations have been identified as Magog by various scholars. A number of modern bible versions interpret Ezekiel 39:1 as prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal. (e.g. NSAB, NKJV, ASV). Apart from similarities in the names, evidence to support the view that Rosh refers to Russia, or that Meshech and Tubal refer to the Russian cities Moscow and Tobolsk is problematic.

We seem to be in a teachable moment at the present time and I hope it will not be wasted. There is a unique opportunity for believers to test and reject false teachers on many levels. (1 John 4:1).

Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. (Ephesians 5:11).

DAYSTAR: AMANDA GRACE "PROPHET" THE VULTURES ARE CIRCLING.

Amanda Grace: The Word of the Lord for Daystar

This is exactly what I feared for Jonathan and Suzy Lamb. No doubt various "prophecies" and "words from the Lord" are coming in thick and fast and I hope they will be very discerning about who they listen to.

Amanda "Grace" is the founder of Ark of Grace Ministries (AGM) in New York. She claims to be a "Prophetic Ambassador" and an "Apostle" and speaks to nations -- right! AGM: "She empowers believers to discover and walk in their divine destinies. Her dedication transforms lives and makes her a respected leader in the prophetic community." 1 This is classic New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) language. No person living today can meet the biblical qualifications for holding the office of an apostle. See my previous posts debunking the role of modern-day "Apostles". Amanda Grace is an alias. Her other names are Amanda Carbone and Amanda Wagner. There are various exposés of Amanda's false prophecies on YouTube (see the links).

Unfortunately, Canadian broadcaster Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson has bought into this woman's false ministry hook, line, and sinker. The lack of discernment among previous Daystar affiliates is extremely concerning. False prophets are very convincing and speak many things that sound biblical until you dig deeper. Amanda has a strong personality and commanding communication skills. She often relies on notes and reads out her alleged "prophecies". I urge Laura-Lynn and others to test the spirits before they endorse anyone as a "prophet". (1 John 4:1). I am not a cessationist. However, when self-appointed "Apostles" and "Prophets" constantly proclaim "Thus saith the Lord" with grandiose sounding "prophecies" be very wary. Marcus Rogers is another "prophet" who repeatedly claims that the Lord has spoken to him directly.2 Thank God this man's puffed-up foolishness has been universally rejected. (2 Corinthians 11:13; Matthew 7:15). Many more wolves are disguising themselves as apostles and prophets in these perilous times. (2 Timothy 3:1-9; 2 Peter 2:1).

Amanda Grace: "I the Lord have seen these things and it grieves me says the Lord. It grieves me that what was created to be a cloud by day has now become a stench publicly. It grieves me says the Lord that what was supposed to be a cloud by day that began in all wholesomeness has become a den of thieves and quarreling and jocking for position and trying to save what hands have made. It grieves me says the Lord to know that this is the state of what the church has become." (December 11th 2024).

Can we honestly say that Daystar was "created (by God) to be a cloud by day" and started out right as Amanda Grace claims? Daystar has never been an authentic Christian ministry (in my opinion). In 1996, the Lambs received a large contribution from arch-deceiver Kenneth Copeland. This enabled them to purchase a station in Colorado, officially turning their television ministry into a network. In August 1997, the staff moved into a 32,000-square-foot (3,000 m2) facility that included production studios and Daystar was officially launched on New Year's Eve 1997.3  Daystar hosts a proliferation of false prosperity teachers. No authentic Christian ministry would give a platform to teachers like Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, Jesse Duplantis, Sid Roth, Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, and all the other wolves. Apart from that huge red flag, on November 30th, 2010 Marcus Lamb publicly confessed to having had a seven-year extramarital affair. Can any true believer continue in "ministry" during a seven-year-long extramarital affair? Biblically, this appalling sin should have disqualified him from having any leadership role within an authentic church. (1 Timothy 3:1-7). This alleged "ministry" was an abomination from its inception and continues to propagate false teachers to the present day.

Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who create divisions and obstacles that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Turn away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive. (Romans 16:17-18).

FURTHER EXPOSURE OF DAYSTAR WICKEDNESS

The above clip from a video by Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson with her guest former Daystar employee Morgan Farris is a powerful example of the spiritual abuse practiced by Daystar and other wolves involved in teaching the "prosperity gospel".

This heresy is promoted by many false Charismatic/Pentecostal/NAR teachers under the Word-Faith label. The "prosperity gospel"  has its roots in the occult "New Thought movement” and is a form of witchcraft wrapped up in Christianese.

The despicable predatory conduct of greedy televangelists who appeal for repeated gifts from people in financial distress or personal crises has long been denounced by orthodox teachers. Those who buy into this teaching are given false hope that giving a gift or "sowing a seed" will reap financial benefits, in this case, ten times the amount donated. When the alleged prosperity fails to materialize, victims are spiritually abused and condemned because they "lack faith". This wicked teaching is extremely dangerous and leads to spiritual ruin. Mark and avoid the wolves who promote this heresy. (Isaiah 56:11).

I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive. (Romans 16:17-18).

Caveat: I do not agree with everything in this video. For instance:
Robert Morris (Gateway Church) was not only a child abuser he was a prosperity teacher obsessed with tithing:
I regard Rodney Howard-Browne aka "the Holy Ghost Bartender" as a dangerous false teacher:
Women pastors/elders are not biblical:

In my view, there is much more false teaching that needs to be rectified by those coming out of Daystar. Having said that, they have made a good start and I am praying that God will lead them into all truth. (John 16:13).

THE DEMONIC SUBMISSION DOCTRINE OF JONI LAMB DAYSTAR

The Heretical Submission Doctrine of Jimmy Evans & Joni Lamb | The Roys Report

This podcast by Julie Roys and Lance Ford uncovers the horror of the demonic "submission doctrine" operating within Daystar. This unbiblical doctrine is not limited to Daystar, it causes widespread damage to believers within many churches and is most prevalent within NAR and Charismatic churches. (1 Timothy 4:1). The above analysis of the spiritual abuse meted out by Joni Lamb and Jimmy Evans to Joni's son, Jonathan, and his wife Suzy is very eye-opening. Hopefully, it will help many Christians to discern the true nature of submission and authority within the church.

..and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (John 8:32).

JONI LAMB DAYSTAR: SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED!

The Roys Report: Full Audio of Daystar Meeting

Roys Report: "During their time at Daystar TV Network, former Vice President Jonathan Lamb and his wife, Suzy Lamb, say they were spiritually abused by Jonathan’s mother, Daystar President Joni Lamb, and her close ally, Jimmy Evans. In this special edition of The Roys Report, we’re releasing full audio of Joni and Jimmy Evans’ meeting with Jonathan and Suzy Lamb in which Evans claims Joni is 'the voice of God' to Jonathan and Suzy..  What you are about to hear is one of the most stunning examples of spiritual abuse that I've ever witnessed.. "

The above meeting was between Jony Lamb, her close ally and "spiritual adviser" Jimmy Evans, and Jonathan and Suzy Lamb. Evans is the founder and president of XO Marriage and Tipping Point Ministries. He is a pre-trib rapture teacher and touts himself as an end-time prophecy expert. His theology raises several red flags biblically, and his behaviour during this meeting did nothing to ease my doubts regarding his suitability as a prophecy expert, a marriage counselor, or a spiritual adviser. I have added a link below that biblically debunks the pre-trib rapture. (1 John 4:1).

The main topic of the discussion centred around the marriage between Joni Lamb and Doug Weiss. Doug Weiss divorced his wife Lisa of thirty years in 2021 just two months after the death of Joni's husband Marcus Lamb. Joni claims to have begun dating Weiss in August 2022 and they married in June 2023. She paid for the $100,000 honeymoon in two installments with the Daystar credit card.1 From a biblical perspective, marriage to a divorced person in these circumstances is unsanctioned. No legitimate pastor could have endorsed this marriage. Nevertheless, Jimmy Evans gave it his full approval and officiated. Apart from the scriptural perspective, the speed of events leading up to the marriage is very odd given Joni's recent bereavement.

To add to the strangeness, Weiss previously held out his first marriage as a beacon and an example that enhanced his reputation as "a renowned expert in the field of relationships and sexuality". Even after his divorce, Weiss kept up the illusion that he was married.

Nex News: "Dr. Doug Weiss and his wife, Lisa Weiss, have forged a strong partnership built on love, understanding, and shared values. Their journey as a couple has been marked by mutual respect and support, which has contributed to their enduring bond. As Dr. Weiss empowers others to enhance their relationships, his own marriage serves as a testament to the principles he advocates."3

According to Evans: "Doug Weiss was justified in divorcing his wife because he was emotionally abused."  This statement is at variance with Weiss's previous declaration of "happiness" with his first wife.
Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart. (Psalm 51:6).

Biblical divorce and remarriage - it's an open and shut case!

You do not have to be a rocket scientist to understand that there is only one circumstance in which a man or woman can divorce and remarry. However, "biblical expert" Jimmy Evans has contrived additional nonbiblical categories and has put many at risk of committing adultery. He has added "abuse, addiction, and abandonment" to adultery as valid reasons to divorce and remarry. Joni Lamb and Doug Weiss have applied Evans' nonbiblical category of "emotional abuse" to their adulterous marriage and Joni has insisted that it is accepted as valid within the cultish community of Daystar. (Proverbs 30:6; Deuteronomy 12:32; 2 Corinthians 10:5).

Now I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.” (Matthew 19:9 cf. Mark 10:11-12; Luke 16:18).

"It was also said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery. (Matthew 5:31-32).

To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife. (1 Corinthians 7:10-11).

For the man who does not love his wife but divorces her, says the LORD, the God of Israel, covers his garment with violence, says the LORD of hosts. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and do not be faithless.” (Malachi 2:16).

Jonathan and Suzy's qualms about the legitimacy of Joni's marriage were completely justified. To have given way to this level of ungodly coercion would have violated their consciences and would have been sinful. Joni and Jimmy Evans' maltreatment of them culminated with the reprehensible ultimatum "Submit or leave".

Jimmy Evans to Jonathan and Suzy Lamb: "So do you feel that she (Joni) is in an adulterous relationship?"
Suzy Lamb "No. that's not why we didn't do that."
Evans repeated the question
Jonathan Lamb: "Well I think God is the judge of that, I can't really say for sure."
Evans: "Well you're judging".
Suzy: That's not because of that though.. That's a boundary, that's her marriage, it's different from ministry. Ministry.. we are here to talk about God and we're here to do that.  Her marriage is out of Daystar, we have no relationship with him (Dough Weiss). He has not talked to us once and we.. I will never be fake on TV.."

I appreciate that Jonathan and Suzy were in a difficult position and that their relationship with Joni and their jobs were at stake. However, I think they would have done better to voice their objections to the marriage upfront. I am reminded of John the Baptist's bold rebuke against Herod regarding his illegitimate marriage to Herodias. (Matthew 14:4). Not everyone is that bold, but the issue of Joni's adulterous marriage to Doug Weiss is a deal-breaker as far as Christian witness and ministry is concerned. Jonathan and Suzy could not have endorsed the marriage without participating in Joni's spiritual defilement. (Matthew 15:19; Proverbs 1:1,10; 1 Corinthians 13:6).

But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one. (1 Corinthians 5:11).

Joni is desperate to gain approval for her adulterous marriage, in fact, she demands it. She is willing to put this marriage above her alleged faith and her family. I refer to it as "alleged faith" because Daystar is an ungodly channel that gives a platform to many false teachers. As the meeting progressed, the spiritual abuse and persecution against Jonathan and Suzy was difficult to listen to. The scripture twisting, and the false accusations of rebellion and witchcraft were nothing less than demonic. Between them, Joni Lamb and Jimmy Evans did a thorough job of calling evil good and good evil. (Isaiah 5:20). These tactics have nothing to do with biblical Christianity.

Evans: "Joni is the voice of God to you". Anyone who insists on submission to unbiblical precepts in the name of God is operating in the spirit of deception. (1 John 4:6). No one can take the place of God in another person's life in any circumstances. Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour. (1 John 2:18). "Antichrist" is translated from the combination of two Greek words ἀντί + Χριστός (anti + Christos). In Greek, Χριστός means "anointed one" and the word Christ derives from it. "Ἀντί" means not only anti in the sense of "against" and "opposite of", but also "in place of". (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).2

Joni Lamb's dodgy counselors

Joni's counselors have been very willing to flout the scriptures to accommodate her adulterous marriage. (Psalm 107:11).

When Jonathan pressed Joni for the name of the pastor who advised her about her marriage she refused to name him. All we know is that he is "a pastor of thirty-five years". This argument of "experience" and length of time in so-called "ministry" is a red herring.  The fact that he gave this appalling advice demonstrates that he is unqualified. ( 2 Timothy 2:15).

Joni named Shawn Bolz as one of her "prophetic advisors". Shawn (Smart Phone) Bolz is a deceiver who is known for his "iPhone prophecies" i.e. he uses the internet to obtain information about people in his audience to give them "words of knowledge". Bolz was caught out when he mixed up two people with the same name in one of his meetings and it backfired on him. Tom Lennie: "This single incident confirms beyond reasonable doubt what I and many other Bolz sceptics have strongly suspected for years – Shawn Bolz uses the internet to obtain the information for his ‘words of knowledge’."4

Joni Lamb: "Shortly after some people learned that Doug and I were seeing each other, Shawn Bolz told me the Lord showed him there would be many significant marriages in 2023 and that God was bringing couples together in unusual pairings."5

Joni's "spiritual adviser" Jimmy Evans: "Jimmy himself knew that he was accountable to God for what he taught and how he counseled. He later confided in me, 'Joni, when you came to me and began to talk to me about Doug, I was concerned as your older brother in Christ. My concern was, I don’t want anything for you that God won’t bless. If I felt like this guy was a bad guy, someone that had divorced without a cause or whatever, I’d chase him off. I don’t care what you say; I’d chase him off! I seriously prayed about it because I knew I needed the discernment of the Lord..' I brought Jimmy in at the start of my relationship with Doug, and he immediately called and talked to Doug extensively. Not only did Jimmy and Doug talk, but they also went through several intensive sessions together so Jimmy could determine the biblical credibility of Doug’s divorce and whether I could confidently pursue a marriage relationship with God’s blessing.5

Joni: "The other day we had Barry Segal on. Well, Suzy and Rebecca they just like and love Derek Prince right, love him. So his first wife died. Did you know his second wife was divorced for abandonment, there was no adultery. Barry Segal same thing, married to Batya. Guess what? She was married before; abandonment, no adultery. So you can say all you want that he (Doug) doesn't have a biblical reason, but he does, he does have a biblical reason." (45:00 mark)

Firstly, I regard Derek Prince as one of the most dangerous false teachers ever to have deceived the church. This praise of Derek Prince demonstrates the unspeakable level of delusion within the professing church. I have added a link to Prince's lethal false teachings. Putting my loathing for Prince's teaching aside, perhaps Joni was mistaken, or, given her questionable relationship with truth, perhaps she was lying when she said there was no adultery in Ruth Bakers' first marriage! In his own words, Derek Prince describes his marriage to Ruth Baker..

Derek Prince: "I fully satisfied myself that Ruth’s first husband had been manifestly unfaithful and that was the basis of the divorce. On that basis I felt that Ruth was scripturally free to marry me without any stigma of inferiority or guilt."6

I know nothing about the circumstances of Barry and Batya Segals marriage and I am unable to validate Joni's claim that there was no adultery. If this is true, it is obvious that believers should never follow the bad example of others, we should always follow the scriptures! (3 John 1:11).

This horrible situation is not only about Joni Lamb and what she wants. Joni has publicly dishonoured God, she has hurt her family, she has damaged the wider Christian community and she has brought the gospel into disrepute. (2 Peter 2:2; Romans 1:32). The murky world of Daystar is something to be avoided at all costs!

And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them. Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. By smooth talk and glowing words they deceive innocent people. (Romans 16:17-18).

Disclaimer: The views expressed in this post are my opinions and personal interpretations of the scriptures.

I have added this disclaimer because Daystar Television Network has employed the law firm Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP to send requests for “correction and retraction of statements" to various discernment ministries with the threat of defamation lawsuits levied against them if they don’t remove the so-called “defamatory statements”. Yet again we see this heretical network throwing its weight around and flouting the scriptures! (1 Corinthians 6:1-8).

THE DAYSTAR SCANDAL: FALSE TEACHERS WILL REAP GOD'S JUDGEMENT!

Daystar is right up there with TBN as the second biggest apostate TV "ministry" in the world. Daystar was launched in 1997 by Marcus and Joni Lamb. Since then Daystar has given a platform to numerous false Word-Faith/NAR teachers including Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, Joyce Meyer, Paula White, Mike Murdoch, Robert Morris, Rod Parsley, etc.

The vicious and very public battle between Daystar and Joni Lamb's son Jonathan and daughter-in-law Suzy is reaching epic proportions. I will not repeat the accusations about their daughter's alleged sex abuse cover-up here - I have provided a link to the Roys Report which gives all the disturbing details.

Understandably, much sympathy is being generated towards Jonathan and Suzy Lamb. However, no one is mentioning the elephant in the room. Prior to this horrible situation, Jonathan and Suzy reaped considerable benefits from Daystar's illegitimate ministry in their high-profile roles. Jonathan was the heir apparent, briefly becoming Vice President following his father's death until he was demoted and ultimately fired on November 16th, 2024. Doesn't their heavy involvement in, and leadership of, this aberrant form of Christianity raise concerns about their beliefs? Nothing is being said about this by those supporting the couple, but it is important. Do Jonathan and Suzy understand the theological compromise of Daystar, and have they repented? The core of the false Word-Faith prosperity "gospel" is selfishness and self-preservation. Orthodoxy defines orthopraxy. In other words, what we believe determines what we practice. It is hardly surprising that Joni Lamb and her cohorts have acted in ways that reflect their distorted theology.

Paul instructed Timothy: Keep a close watch on yourself (your life) and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers. (1 Timothy 4:16 cf. Titus 3:8).

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. But avoid irreverent babble, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness, and their talk will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have swerved from the truth, saying that the resurrection has already happened. They are upsetting the faith of some. But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.” (2 Timothy 2:15-19).

Daystar and Joni Lamb's financial abuses

The unholy antics of the Daystar dynasty are too numerous to mention, but two recent examples are noteworthy.

*The Christian Post: "Since October 2022, Daystar Television Network’s ministry jet has made 24 round-trip flights from Fort Worth to Colorado Springs and 13 round-trip flights from Fort Worth to Destin at an estimated cost of $769,220.
The purpose of the Colorado Springs flights were a mystery until Daystar President Joni Lamb announced her engagement to Colorado Springs psychologist and author Doug Weiss in March 2023.
The following screenshot shows Daystar’s jet flying to Colorado Springs and returning to Texas two days after Lamb’s surprise engagement announcement. Is it appropriate for a church leader to use the ministry jet to visit a fiancé?
If the couple used commercial aircraft rather than the ministry jet for personal flights, they could have saved more than $700,000 on travel expenses.."1

*Candy Chand recently reported in an article on X that Joni Lamb billed the Daystar ministry $100,000 for her honeymoon!

Susan Puzio of Prophetic News Radio has made some very insightful comments about this disgusting abuse. Puzio: "You sacrifice, they party on your money!"

@candychand11

Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. (Isaiah 56:11).

Puzio: "If you could lie on Jesus you can lie on anybody, and that's what's been happening at Daystar for years. You could buy a blessing, you could buy household salvation, you could buy miracles to get your children off drugs, you could buy healings, you could buy prosperity, 'Just give $1000 here, sow a seed and watch what God will do'."2
