"Complaint against the Police & Crime Commissioner for Northamptonshire

I am writing to advise you that the Northamptonshire Police & Crime Panel’s Complaints
Sub Committee has completed its consideration of your complaint concerning the conduct
of Mr Adam Simmonds, the Police & Crime Commissioner for Northamptonshire.

Your complaint contended that Mr Simmonds had used his position as Police & Crime
Commissioner to get Google to remove posts from your blog that were critical of the Trinity
Life Church in Leicester, of which Mr Simmonds is a director and trustee.

The Sub Committee considered the information that you provided to it in support of the
complaint and information received from Mr Simmonds in response to it. The information
received from Mr Simmonds indicated to the satisfaction of the Sub Committee that he had
complained to Google in a private capacity and had made no reference to his public role
when doing so. The Sub Committee was also satisfied that Mr Simmonds made the
complaint to Google outside of working hours using personal, not official, IT equipment.
The Sub Committee therefore resolved that it needed to take no further action in relation to
this complaint.

In accordance with the Panel’s Informal Resolution Protocol you have the opportunity now
to comment, if you wish to do so, on the proposed publication of the record of this
complaint. Please could I ask that any comments that you wish to make on this matter are
returned to me as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely,

James Edmunds
Democratic Services Assistant Manager
Secretariat to the Northamptonshire Police & Crime Panel"

"Dear James Edmunds

Frankly I do not believe Adam Simmonds denial.

All Simmonds had to do was deny it! Do you suppose that this settles the matter? No.... it certainly does not and I shall be publishing much more on this subject.

No effort was made by the Northamptonshire Police & Crime Panel Complaints Sub Committee to prove this matter either way. Why weren't the communications of Adam Simmonds considered? I must say that I have no confidence in the PCP to investigate the PCC since they obviously are not prepared to ascertain the facts. This is a very serious allegation of a potentially illegal action by Simmonds and it has not been dealt with adequately. I feel that I have been dealt with very shabbily and that I am dealing with the old boys network! All that was considered by the PCP was:

'The Sub Committee will consider your original complaint and the supplementary information you also provided; the response to your complaint from the Police & Crime Commissioner; and some further information clarifying points made in the Commissioner’s response that the Sub Committee requested from him.'

When a crime is committed is this the way it is usually investigated? Aren't the law enforcers supposed to unearth all the facts in order to get to the truth, or are the PCP impotent as law enforcers?

My FOI request concerning the emails will hopefully show up something. I am also waiting for Google to provide information and I shall be pressing them again for this information.

It really is very odd isn't it that Google are quite reluctant to remove posts usually! I myself tried to have something removed some time ago when someone was writing offensive things about me, but I was unsuccessful in having it removed. Perhaps that is because I do not have weighty title of PCC!

I have to also point out that the time frame is quite astounding. Google say that they like to thoroughly consider complaints before making any decision to remove a blog or a post. The complaint was made by Simmonds on the 16th of February and the posts were immediately removed!!!

I am very very unhappy about all of this - I expected much more.

Further email sent to James Edmunds 30/06/2014:

"..... and a further comment from a friend of mine:

Is Simmonds prepared to provide documentary evidence that he had my posts removed under his own name and in his own time? In the absence of such evidence there is still doubt in minds..."

Further email sent to James Edmunds 02/07/2014:

"Another question: Can I ask who sat on the Northamptonshire Police & Crime Panel Complaints Sub Committee? With such criticism going around about Simmonds cronyism, it would be nice to know."

Sunday, 22 June 2014

This post is republished with the proviso that this is a Biblical critique of Trinity Life Church (an Assemblies of God Pentecostal denomination) in Leicester. This post was previously ? illegally removed by Adam Simmonds Northamptonshire PCC and Director of TLC. This is of course indicative of the fact that TLC are averse to opposing views and Bible based criticism. The matter of whether Simmonds used his position as PCC to remove two of my posts has recently come under consideration by the Northamptonshire Police & Crime Panel’s Complaints Sub Committee. The following is a faithful reproduction of the original post dated the 8th of February 2014:
An important question to ask about “Christian” churches and charities is: Do they honour Jesus Christ above everything else? Are their teachings and actions Biblical? Are they concerned about doctrine? What are their ethics? What are their associations? etc. When we look at Trinity Life Church (TLC) who claim to be "evangelical", we find multiple problems, not least their pursuit and acceptance of “lucky” crossed fingers 666 lottery funding. The conditions TLC have been obliged to meet in securing evil 666 lottery funding is an insult Jesus Christ and holds Him up to contempt.

For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. (2 Peter 2/20)

For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt. For land that has drunk the rain that often falls on it, and produces a crop useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God. But if it bears thorns and thistles, it is worthless and near to being cursed, and its end is to be burned. (Hebrews 6/4-8)

There is much more that can be said as we shall see.

DAVID HIND – THE BIG PICTURE 2014 – 02/02/2014

Here we have yet another self-congratulatory presentation! God help you all at TLC. David Hind's pseudo spiritual presentation with the odd reference to “Jesus” is astonishing in its arrogance. It is all about how well TLC are doing in their own eyes rather than based on right judgement.

“Through our compassion charity Open Hands we are privileged to show the love and compassion of Jesus to some of the most vulnerable people in our city.” http://www.trinitylifechurch.org.uk/

Beware of self-promoters who parade their good deeds publicly:

Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips. (Proverbs 27/2)

Beware of practising your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.
(Matthew 6/1)

Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil. (Proverbs 3/7)

Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgement. (John 7/24)

To judge (Greek κρίνω krinó) i. e. to distinguish right or wrong accurately based on God's word. It is essential for Christians to judge in this sense in order to avoid being deceived.

The leadership of TLC have proved in many ways that they do not care about the flock that God has entrusted to them (which should be their first priority [John 21/16-19;1 Peter 5/2]). This being the case, they cannot possibly really care about the vulnerable? If they really cared about the vulnerable then they would preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them – their greatest need! If they really cared about the vulnerable, they would reject the restrictions of secular equality values imposed by Big Lottery and the money that goes with it. If anyone wants to run a charity and abide by secular equality values, then fine, but it is a lie to pretend to do it in the name of Jesus Christ – it is to hold Jesus Christ in contempt. I believe that God is very angry.

TLC are running a couple of businesses in the name of "Jesus". They are getting all the benefits of charity status, grants, donations and all the advantages of tax exemptions etc. in the process, but they do not honour and obey the Lord. This may fool some people, but it does not fool God!

No matter how many affirmative “words” and “pictures” Hind gets from his cronies, if his actions do not agree with THE WORD then these other “words” are false. You conceive chaff, you give birth to straw..... (Isaiah 33/11).

Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you? (Luke 6/46)

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'” (Matthew 7/22-23)

Just because David Hind keeps ramping it up and prophesying: Enlarge the place of your tent..... (Isaiah 52) and suchlike does not make anything he says valid.

Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be dispersed over the face of the whole earth.” (Genesis 11/4)

The right examples to follow:

Jesus Christ made himself of no reputation. (Philippians 2/70)

John the Baptist said that Christ must increase and that he (John) must decrease - that is, in fame, credit, and reputation among men (John 3/30). As TLC increases in the flesh, Christ decreases among them - He withdraws and abandons them.

Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin. (James 4/15-17) It is definitely not God's will to show the love and compassion of Jesus to the vulnerable in a void of secularity on evil lottery money. God's commission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and make disciples first and foremost (Matthew 28/19).

Laodicea means people’s opinions (laos = laity dice = opinions). It is to judge and decide matters to the exclusion of Christ’s rule within His Church - this is an apt description of TLC. Laodicea makes the deadly error of putting their own opinions before right judgement. They talk themselves up and no doubt believe their own publicity, but the reality is that they are wilfully blind to their true condition of spiritual wretchedness:

For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realising that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. (Revelation 3/17-19)

…..each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. (1 Corinthians 3/13)

Beware of church leaders who respond to “awkward questions” by reiterating the party line more loudly and forcefully than before in an attempt to divert attention away from their unbiblical actions. They are a “rebellious house” (Ezekiel 2/6-7; 3/27; 12/3; 44/6). Unlike the apostle Paul who boldly faced his critics head on, TLC are dismissive of “criticism” as they define it. Why could Paul answer his critics boldly, and why won't TLC? If TLC could answer, they would easily be able to demolish the points against them biblically, but they will not answer because they cannot answer. TLC continue to pat themselves on the back and ignore the undeniable facts when they should repent.

Six days before the Passover, Jesus therefore came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. So they gave a dinner for him there. Martha served, and Lazarus was one of those reclining with him at table. Mary therefore took a pound of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (he who was about to betray him), said, “Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?” He said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief, and having charge of the moneybag he used to help himself to what was put into it. Jesus said, “Leave her alone, so that she may keep it or the day of my burial. For the poor you always have with you, but you do not always have me.” (John 12/1-6)

Judas Iscariot is a major type of the Antichrist, being the only other person to share the title “Son of Perdition” with the final Antichrist. One thing we learn about him is that his outrage about the expensive ointment and his interest in the poor was a deception. Sinful motives often hide themselves under the mask of reverence for another virtue, and in Judas' case it was a powerful deception. Matthew tells us that all the disciples became indignant after Judas' false protestation (Matthew 26/8). Notice that the person who was really serving Jesus Christ, Mary, came under fierce criticism from this pretender who in turn influenced others against her. There are many antichrists (1 John 2/18). An important lesson from this is that antichrist deceivers are plausible; they can lead many Christians astray and cause them to prioritise other things over and above honouring the Lord Jesus Christ. Even now many professing Christians have been deceived by the spirit of antichrist and have accepted a counterfeit social gospel which deceptively supplants the teachings of the Jesus Christ.

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds. (2 Corinthians 11/13-15)

David Hind says that he wants to work with other so called “churches” and charities locally. This may sound like a good idea to the uninformed, but yet again Hind is operating in the flesh - this is not God's will.

One of the churches that Hind is known to be involved with is Holy Trinity Church in Leicester (CofE) which purports to be “evangelical”. The problems of association with the CofE are multiple; they have recently embraced paganism in order to boost their numbers; they have caved in on same sex marriage; they ordain homosexuals; they are ecumenical and interfaith; they practice infant christening........... the list just goes on and on. These are all doctrines of demons. The Church of England is in spiritual darkness; it is a member of the World Council of Churches (WCC) which is part of the harlot church system and is on its way to Babylon. The WCC is in turn involved with Roman Catholicism, ecumenism and pagan religions. I don't see John McGinley complaining about any of this and standing firm in the faith (Ephesians 6/10-20).

John McGinley has endorsed Benny Hinn on his Twitter page. He embraces eastern mysticism with “Breathe” and monasticism, both of which are demonic. He implemented false teacher Mark Stibbe's Mission Shaped Communities in 2011. During my time at Holy Trinity, McGinley appointed a known Freemason onto the prayer team and then failed to comprehend the gravity of my complaint! I find it difficult to believe that church leaders really are that naïve. https://twitter.com/johnmcginleyhtl

The lines have been blurred because of association and participation - the Bible calls this spiritual adultery. What agreement has the temple of God with idols? (2 Corinthians 6/16) The leadership of TLC have abandoned the Word of God and are putting the body of Christ at TLC at great risk.

Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel..... (Philippians 1/27).

The Bible says that true Christians should have nothing to do with deeds of darkness (Ephesians 5/11; 2 Corinthians 6/14-16; see also Acts 17/11)

I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. Shall we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he? (1 Corinthians 10/20-22)

Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, nor take part in the sins of others; keep yourself pure. (2 Timothy 5/22)

Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons..... (1 Timothy 4/1)

Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” (1 Corinthians 15/33)

My son, fear the LORD and the king, and do not join with those who do otherwise..... (Proverbs 24/21)

David Hind's desire to work with secular charities is equally ill conceived. Secular organisations have an entirely different motivation from Bible believing Christians because they have the perspective of the world. The Bible describes unbelievers as God's enemies (Colossians 1/21). Churches (at least true ones) cannot be yoked together with secular organisations; we are in the world but not of the world (John 15/19). The Christian priority is to glorify Jesus Christ as against any so called “good” secular agenda. Worldly Influences are destructive to the church - the merging of Christianity with the world is precisely what God warns Christians against.

Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. (Romans 8/8)

And it is impossible to please God without faith. (Hebrews 11/6)

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6/14)

What kind of example is this? Really I should rest my case here. This terrible witness should be enough to put any true believer to flight. Hinn is entirely demonic and communes with evil spirits. You might as well go to a spiritualist meeting as attend one of Hinn's meetings.

Below is a comment received from a reader of my previous post:

David Hind was: “front row on the left of the stage, he had to move his chair when the 'ministry' time started at the end. Slouched and chewed gum through the whole time!? On stage sitting near choir were Ian Rossol, a 'Bishop' Lupiya and an Asian businessman who co-ordinated event, sorry don't know name, worship lead by mixed choir and worship leader from All Nations.”
So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” (1 Peter 5/1-5)

From a biblical standpoint David Hind is a false leader, purely from the evidence and not from any biased viewpoint of mine. He says some things which sound convincing and seem “godly”, but he mixes truth with error which makes him sound credible to those who are spiritually naive. Jesus Christ said “by their fruits you will know them.” (Matthew 7/16) I would not call anyone out as a false leader lightly, but there is no other possible conclusion. A true shepherd would not do the things that David Hind does. Hind has orchestrated the systematic erosion of everything biblical at TLC; everything sound has been decimated piecemeal - and now the icing on the cake, evil 666 Lottery money in the name of doing God's will – it is unconscionable!

Sadly there are people around David Hind who, for whatever reason (and they will have to give an answer for it), have backed him up and given a foothold to the enemy. I really do fear for the people involved with TLC – they are in extreme spiritual danger.

And must my sheep eat what you have trodden with your feet, and drink what you have muddied with your feet? (Ezekiel 34/19)

Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues.....” (Revelation 18/4)

Did Adam Simmonds use his positiion as PCC Northamptonshire to have my posts removed from Blogger?

A simple question with a simple answer – you really would think so wouldn't you?

Armed with the information that Simmonds did definitely have two of my posts removed by Google, you would think that this would be straightforward, but unfortunately not! The Northamptonshire Crime Panel was not given access to records to see if I am named in any of Simmonds communications.

After asking the question: Will there be full disclosure whether Simmonds has used my name in any communications and what exactly those communications were?

The response from James Edmunds, Democratic Services Assistant Manager and Statutory Scrutiny Officer,
Northamptonshire County Council was:

“This is not information that will be available to the Complaints Sub Committee when it meets on Friday to consider your complaint.”

Further question: “Can you tell me what information will be available to the Panel?”

James Edmunds Response: “The Sub Committee will consider your original complaint and the supplementary information you also provided; the response to your complaint from the Police & Crime Commissioner; and some further information clarifying points made in the Commissioner’s response that the Sub Committee requested from him.”

After making a Freedom of Information Request to ascertain whether my name appeared in emails Simmonds sent/received; this is the response I received from Colin Brown C1199 | Data Protection/FOI Officer :

“Disclosure of information under the Freedom of Information Act is disclosure to the world at large, not just to an individual. Even if you are the person directly involved, any disclosure under the Act would be a breach of data protection for the individual concerned.

If you want copies of your own information, you need to apply under the Subject Access Provisions of the Data Protection Act using the form on our website, see the following link;

I am attaching a form should you require a hard copy.

You are required to provide proof of ID and make a payment of £10.”

In other words, for the privilege of accessing personal information relating to an injustice I believe was committed against me by Simmonds, I am obliged to pay the Northamptonshire PCC £10! I have made the request and paid the £10, but I must say that I find it quite ludicrous that I should have to make out a cheque for £10 to the very person who has removed my posts!

Northamptonshire Police & Crime Panel’s Complaints Sub Committee met for the second time yesterday 20th June 2014 to consider my complaint. However, the very evidence that would probably settle the matter was not made available to them! Simmonds must be splitting his sides....

I am waiting with bated breath for their findings!

The Open Hands Trust was granted £446,626 last year after receiving support from Voluntary Action Leicestershire (VAL) with their bid for Big Lottery Reaching Communities funding. http://www.valonline.org.uk Release date 12th of November 2013. Open Hands Trust is a project founded by Trinity Life Church (TLC) in Leicester which is part of the Assemblies of God (AOG) Pentecostal denomination in the UK. Very disturbingly, over the past 15 years, Lottery distributors have awarded at least 139 grants worth more than £3.1m to evangelical, Pentecostal and conservative Christian groups. http://www.theguardian.com

This is a very critical debate which I believe is significant in our time when we are experiencing what the Bible calls the apostasia i.e. the falling away (2 Thessalonians 2/3). We may rightly pose the question: Should those who claim to be Bible believing fundamental Christians pursue secular funding for church projects? Lottery money in particular has extremely negative associations with gambling, and so we can legitimately say that from a biblical perspective it comes from an “unclean” source and that it is money tainted by sin.
An inevitable consequence is that the church loses its right to speak against the evils of gambling if it is advertising, benefiting from and accepting the proceeds of gambling. The social evil of gambling is rooted in greed and idolatry; its addictive nature and the misery that it causes to some people in society is very well known. For the Church to raise money from this source is pure hypocrisy. Critics say that the lottery exploits the poor and gives them false hope; it is said to be a tax on the poor, and those with little cash to spare are more likely to buy a £2 ticket than high earners. Is it right that those who call themselves Bible believing Christians should benefit from such wickedness? Biblically money obtained through the sinfulness of gambling is an abomination; it will not bring the blessing of God but rather His curse. The ethical question of how money is obtained is a critical one because we cannot honour God with our substance unless it has been honourably and honestly acquired.
You shall not bring the fee of a prostitute or the wages of a dog into the house of the LORD your God in payment for any vow, for both of these are an abomination to the LORD your God. (Deuteronomy 23:18)
In the Old Testament, nothing unclean was ever allowed into the temple because the Glory of Yahweh dwelt there. God is holy and He cannot dwell in a defiled temple.
What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people." (2 Corinthians 6/16)
The lambs and other animals offered as sacrifices in the Old Testament were to be without blemish (Exodus 12/5; Leviticus 22/19-21).
Do not bring anything with a defect, because it will not be accepted on your behalf. (Leviticus 22/20)
Good works done with unclean lottery money in God's name are indeed defective offerings.
Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you..... (2 Corinthians 6/17; Isaiah 52/11 )
The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. (1 Timothy 1/5)
A great deal of casuistry has to be applied to justify the pursuit of unrighteous lottery funding: TLC: “We are privileged to show the love and compassion of Christ to some of the most vulnerable people in our city with Isaiah ch58 vs6-12 very much being our heartbeat.”  http://www.trinitylifechurch.org.uk In context, Isaiah Chapter 58 addresses the internal sins of the house of Jacob and calls for their repentance (Isaiah 58). For instance, the Israelites were unjust and oppressed all their workers (58/3). This is not to say that Christians should not help the poor and needy, but it should not be done with money gained by wickedness. Whatever happened to trusting God for provision?
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4/19)
The underlying issue is whether such schemes, programmes and building works are really in the will of the Lord. Are these plans and activities really in the will of God or are TLC empire building in the flesh? How many hoops have TLC had to jump through in order to receive this money? Lottery funding comes at a terrible cost: THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.
“Lottery distributors' rules make a distinction between religious activities and the community projects churches run. They say: "The project outcomes are key, rather than the non-project activities and ethos of the organisation. Crucially, the activities undertaken with lottery money cannot promote religion or belief." http://www.biglotteryfund.org.uk/
TLC: Compassion is at the very heart of God and the very heart of TLC. The challenge of Isaiah 58 and Matthew 28. Through our compassion charity Open Hands we are privileged to show the love and compassion of Jesus to some of the most vulnerable people in our city. http://www.trinitylifechurch.org.uk/compassion/
And Jesus came and said to them,“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28/18-20)
Here we have a dilemma: Either TLC together with Open Hands are promoting Jesus Christ or they are not. The above statement by them seems to indicate that they are, albeit in a very clandestine way. Here we have a double compromise; firstly the compromise of selling the gospel down the river; secondly the compromise of applying for lottery funding under false pretences. You cannot please two masters (Matthew 6/24) Critically, the Bible puts preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ as the first priority as against good works and helping the poor. According to Lottery rules, TLC are not allowed to preach the gospel to those it helps.
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. (Romans 10/14-17)
If TLC think that they can somehow win people to Jesus Christ without preaching the gospel, they are not only breaking Lottery rules, they are deceiving themselves and more importantly they are dishonouring the Lord. TLC have in effect yoked themselves together with unbelievers and are prevented from doing the very thing that Christ told Christians to do i.e. engage in The Great Commission, that is to boldly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28/19). That of course brings a price which these days few are prepared to pay.
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6/14) .....and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak. (Ephesians 6/19-20)
…..preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. (2 Timothy 4/2) woe to me if I do not preach the gospel..... (1 Corinthians 9/16)
An insipid message has come from the Evangelical Alliance on this subject - we should not be surprised: "A spokeswoman for the Evangelical Alliance – condemning the lottery as ‘a thinly disguised and unjust tax’ – says, ‘there is no biblical basis for relying on chance for income, either through gambling or applying to an unjust structure for monies.’ She echoes the view that funding streams have shifted to the lottery, and says the alliance does not advocate a hard line on lottery applications for social projects." http://www.lottery-monitor.com

“.....it is equally important that when applying for lottery funding, such groups believe and abide by equality values." http://www.theguardian.com
Do TLC believe and abide by equality values? For instance, one of the criteria for equality is: Promoting inclusive communities such as other religions.
Do TLC believe that other religions are equal to Christianity? It appears that they do not since they promote the exclusivity of Jesus Christ above other religions. http://www.trinitylifechurch.org.uk/messages/
Another equality value is: Reducing disadvantage and exclusion. Disadvantaged groups may include lesbian, gay and bisexual people.
Would TLC say that LGBT people are in God's will? Would they appoint them in key positions of leadership? Do TLC agree with same sex marriage etc? If TLC do believe and abide by secular equality values then they have betrayed the Jesus Christ. If however TLC do not believe and abide by secular equality values then they have obtained lottery funding by deception and they have also betrayed Jesus Christ. Either way they are not in God's will!
I inadvertently attended an Open Hands presentation by Sue Smout, Senior Manager of the Open Hands Trust at Knighton Evangelical Free Church last year. It was a typical worldly TLC presentation - I might just as well have been at a slick business promotional meeting. How they love to peddle their own ideas and promote themselves above the Word of God at the expense of true worship – it was a very painful and grievous experience. We are indeed experiencing the end time apostasia prophesied by the Apostle Paul.
It is amazing how God uses His enemies to accomplish his work and discipline his people if they stubbornly persist in wickedness. The Lord employed the wicked nations of Babylon and Assyria to punish apostate Israel (2 Kings 15/29; 16/7-9; 18/9-12). It appears that God is using the Pink activists of all people to put a stop to the hypocrisy of the church! The LGBT community object strongly to fundamentalist churches receiving lottery funds, and rightly so. Their arguments are absolutely correct in that the church cannot expect to get the benefits of the world if they are not willing to play the world's game. What an indictment on the church that this should be the case. I pray that these Pink activists are successful if it will bring TLC and other worldly churches like them to their senses. Some excerpts from Peter Tatchell and the Pink Activists:
  • “The government and national lottery need to establish tighter controls on grants, to ensure that homophobic and other hate-mongering organisations do not get funding.”  http://www.pinknews.co.uk/
  • LGBT rights campaigner Peter Tatchell: "No lottery money should be given, directly or indirectly, to organisations that promote prejudice and discriminatory values."  http://www.gaystarnews.com
  • Labour MP Chris Bryant: "I don't object to religious charities being supported by the lottery, as many churches and religions do a great deal for society. But most people would be scandalized to hear that lottery money is being used by groups that peddle fundamentalist prejudice and bigotry.” http://www.gaystarnews.com
  • "In a free society, extremist churches are entitled to believe that homosexuality is wrong, but they should not receive money that comes from the public and is intended to support good causes." http://protectthepope.com/?p=7285
When and not if the challenge comes, how will TLC respond when their charity status is threatened if they don’t comply to Caesar’s demand that we worship him? Will they try to wriggle around the issues and make their tenuous position before God even worse, or will they repent? There are some ingenious worldly ideas within the Assemblies of God if they need any help in taking their apostasy further forward: "While Christianity has traditionally forbidden sodomy, believing it to be parallel to homosexuality, it's been discovered in the Hebrew text and history that the word sodomy literally means "male temple prostitute", and not a translation for homosexual. Thus, homosexuality is not thought of as an act of sin in a growing population of churches today, namely the religion of Christianity." Assemblies of God USA
The whole world lies under the dominion of the evil one, Satan, the prince of this world. (1 John 5/19; John 12/31; Luke 4/6).

Hidden in plain sight, Satanic numbers and symbols are commonly used in corporate logos e.g. Cadbury, Coca Cola and Cern amongst many others. I have demonstrated this in my Hubpages article referenced below. By using the number 666 in some form, disguised or otherwise, Satan is marking his territory. The Lottery logo is no exception and contains a very thinly disguised 666 – any organisation receiving lottery money is to be literally saturated with the signature of Satan! Below is an excerpt from the Big Lottery Fund Website:
CROSSED FINGERS! The Big Lottery logo is not only a thinly disguised 666, it is the image of crossed fingers, an image which has its history in witchcraft and superstition. By crossing fingers we are engaging in making a spell, albeit inadvertently. As far as the lottery goes, crossed fingers depicts “good luck”, supposedly as an aid to winning. Other meanings of crossed fingers include protection from harm e.g. when walking under a ladder. When people cross fingers behind their backs it has negative connotations with lies. The symbol of crossed fingers is the antithesis of biblical Christianity and yet TLC are obliged to have this logo plastered all over their Open Hands material.

"Questions about using BIG’s logo  Do I have to use the logo? Yes - by accepting your award you have made a commitment to using our logo to acknowledge your grant publicly. This is a requirement of your grant contract. Acknowledging your grant is part of your contract with us, and not acknowledging is a breach of that contract. We monitor projects closely for acknowledgement, and contact all projects that don’t meet these guidelines. Where should I use the logo? All grant recipients should acknowledge the support of BIG when producing any form of promotional or publicity material, including your website, press releases, leaflets, posters, brochures, annual reports and stationery, such as letterheads. When advertising a job funded by us, our logo should feature in the advert. If you have a building, especially if it was funded by the Big Lottery Fund, a plaque should be installed on completion. Site hoarding stickers must be installed while work is in progress." http://www.biglotteryfund.org.uk

Victory Outreach in Arnhem has testimonies and a reputation for all kinds of abuse and financial misconduct. Thankfully Victory Outreach in Arnhem Netherlands which was run by 'Pastor' Wilfred Dijksteel has now closed. The building, Spijkerstraat 125 Arnhem is currently up for rent: http://www.fundainbusiness.nl/bedrijfshal/arnhem/object-48086529-spijkerstraat-125/

The work of Victory Outreach began in the Netherlands in 1985 when a team from the US was sent to start a church in Amsterdam. From there new churches were founded in cities like Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, Arnhem, Alkmaar, Almere and Heerlen. A total of 3,300 people in the Netherlands joined the church.

Below is a further testimony from Rene Van Beek:

"De Victory Outreach in Arnhem was finally cancelled because of so called scams homies (residents). Dat are the groups who come for help, but meanwhile bedrogen (cheated). De VO Arnhem never paid including health insurance, which resulted in skyrocketing medical bills from the homie itself must betalen (pay).Er applications were made with fake signatures, such as benefit instanties. De home / Victory Outreach put that money in their own pockets and let the homies get burned because they have to pay it all back which never! they receive Same with psychological assistance grant ... they never got because one must pray and read the Bible as it was with something. Victory Outreach Arnhem put homies practically naked on the street if they even made the smallest (in their eyes) mistake. Their properties were given as half and the rest was gone / sold! Victory Outreach (Arnhem) has nothing good with people in mind! Everything's own interest as owning four houses and a church, three cars, long-distance travel to so called conferences, charities, etc. .. etc. .. etc!! Victory Outreach CHURCH IS A SECT but those people with addiction problems confronted by terrible with them in their churches debt / mistakes / errors etc lets say for microphones . One is ashamed blankly and does not hold because everyone is in their inner your curse / blame / disapprove!! No sign of sympathy or help you, get absolutely nothing! The homies are REQUIRED to take to the streets around doors, markets, supermarkets, plazas with flyers and speak that Jesus is there and that they MUST come to their services to EVERYONE for the punishment of God come out differently over them!! And that MUST homie say! ! The homie is just one day in the home and be there for them when confronted his breath still smells of alcohol, his eyes in every direction and tolls only on the legs can stand! Contact with family?? NO WAY WHICH ARE PAGAN ... THERE YOU SHOULD REMAIN AWAY!! If there are collected in the church is small and you get money out of your pockets then get there snarled the pastor crackling EURO NOTES TO HEAR .... NO MONEY FOR YOU? THEN YOU MUST SIGN AN AUTHORIZATION WHERE THE VICTORY OUTREACH TO THEM HOME TIPP-EX WITH YOUR RATE OF CHANGE IN 5 EURO 25 EURO!! Since it does not come back because bank records are held back or thrown away!!  THAT IS THE VICTORY OUTREACH!!! NOT CHURCH BUT A SECT AS WOLVES IN SHEEP CLOTHES LIFE ...."

"Also the VO Cult no longer exists in Arnhem and everyone has left the cult. They have not paid their rent and as a result they were kicked out of their VO home and have fled to Germany. The pastor is suffering from a psychiatric condition and he is suffering from mental torture, but physically there is nothing that can be discovered. He is suffering great pain. Their children have gone off the rails. One works in a coffee shop and is stoned and drunk, the other was placed in a psychiatric institution."

I have now also received the testimony of Dennis Willekes, another ex resident of Victory Outreach Arnhem as follows:

"In 2009 I came in the Foundation “the Home Arnhem”, belonging to the Victory Outreach. Our payment went to the bank account of “the Home Arnhem". From that payment, they held 450,- Euro for accommodation etc. They should pay from the payment every month the Health Insurance, but they never did that! They kept that money for themselves. That went on for about 18 months. When I asked for an explain I never got a clear answer. I got more then 2000,- Euro of debt. I got 3000,- Euro back from the Tax Authorities and The Home Arnhem promised to pay my fines that I have. But after a few months the police told me that they never were paid! They promised also to pay 700,- Euro for the Health Insurance from that tax money I got back, but again it disappeared in their own wallets!!  I know that there worked a woman at the office of the Home who told me that she must often fill in reports that where not true and transactions that were wrong!! The Foundation the Home Arnhem declared the money from me at the (tax) authorities which they had already in their wallets again, so now I have to pay that too!"

Dear Reader – Do you have questions about Jesus Christ and how to be truly saved? If so, then please read my post: GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION THROUGH JESUS CHRIST

I have decided to re-publish the comments that were removed by Adam Simmonds PCC Northamptonshire back in February in a most underhand and ? illegal way in his attempt to suppress free expression and exposure of TLC’s unbiblical agenda. The only proviso I would add to the original post is that the comments below are people’s experiences and views about Trinity Life Church as they relate to Biblical Christianity. I do exhort people to test TLC by the biblical criteria they profess (1 John 4/1).

The comments I received back in January and February concerned the apostasy taking place at Trinity Life Church in Leicester, not least their “lucky” 666 lottery funding with its conditions to submit to secular equality values as detailed in my original post:

Benny Hinn’s visit to Leicester was validated by David Hind. Hinn is a proven necromancer, a proven false prophet and a well known wolf in sheep’s clothing. I have already written an in-depth post about Hinn:

Treena – You raise some serious questions yet I doubt you will get positive answers from the church leaders there. Like you say questioning their theocracy leads only one direction. May I read from this that you are no longer at TLC? And what of the senior elders above this local leadership team, do AOG church officials condone these actions? Have they nothing to say regarding this effort to acquire funding?
From my own experience of this model for church it only leads into ‘cultism’ and the heavy shepherding of the flock by leaders who view dissenting and correcting voices as threats to their ‘authority. Yet even Peter was publicly rebuked by Paul (over compromising with the Jews)and later he wrote that though what Paul said was difficult to receive it was nevertheless true. This situation in present church leadership reminds me so much of the prophets who tickled each others ears with supposed prophecy whilst the leader Hananiah(?) dramatical grabbed the horns of the altar declaring victory. When Jeremiah spoke the true word from the Lord he earned a swift rebuke and slap on the face from the ‘prophet’ who claimed he had more of the anointing and the spirit of God than Jeremiah. They put Jeremiah down and put him out, but his true prophecy stood time and testing. I remember well watching the leaders of All Nations dancing on stage in Lakeland, Florida with Todd Bentley a few years ago, yet not one of these apostles or prophets seemed to know or care of Bentleys failings and less than a month later Todd was exposed. Didn’t these prophets perceive it? King David couldn’t hide from the word of God as he was exposed over Bathsheba by Nathan. Perhaps this city will have other voices who continue standing by the roadside and calling out? They went for ‘catching the anointing by association, receiving an impartation of the glory’ quote from Ian Rossel before he flew. How have All Nations, TLC prospered since?

As I read the Gospels I am constantly challenged on my personal walk of faith and being willing to allow God to address issues in my life. Working out your salvation with fear and trembling is hard because we get offended when Jesus puts His finger on something and we don’t want to give it up or allow God to change us. The rich young man went away very sad of course, and when Jesus spoke of eating His flesh and drinking his blood, many turned away offended at his teaching. The disciples had to come to the decision to follow Jesus because, “you have the Words of Eternal Life, where else do we go?”… back into the world perhaps with the comfort of soothing hyper-worship, non-threatening seeker friendly sermons, paying tithes to buy another week of blessings?

Narrow is the way Treena and few there are that find it but I am glad that you constantly signpost the way for people to follow. Blessings, Andy T

Dear Andy T. Thank you for your comment. I left TLC some years ago, not long after David Hind was appointed for obvious reasons. Many wise people have left TLC. I once respected the previous pastor Brian Niblock, but he is up to his neck in it with them. I moved on to Holy Trinity which was a terrible mistake but I have learned a lot. Thank you very much for your encouragement – I do believe that it is right to bring these things out into the light and hopefully others will take heed. God bless you

Treena, again I have to agree with much of what you say. I had the dubious honour of meeting David Hind a couple of times as a fellow pastor and found him to be a dangerous and quite frankly cultish leader.

I could see where he was heading a number years ago and the way he was appointed is quite frankly wrong on so many levels.

I worry for TLC and the many hundreds who are being led astray by these leadership team, dont even get me started on the whole area of employing family etc.

Your anonymous pastor friend.

Thank you my “anonymous pastor friend”. I am praying for the Christians of Leicester that the Lord will open their eyes. TLC is one of the worst churches here, but they are all in a terrible place with the Lord – and so arrogant. The leaders won’t repent even if proven to be unbiblical! TLC used to be a good church years ago – it is such a shame.

heard that at the recent Benny Hinn meeting at Athena, Leicester, Benny pointed him out and scolded him for slouching while the word was being preached and not being respectful of the things of God. Ironic?..kingdom divided against itself..?

Seriously if he was that is a major concern.

yes he was, front row on the left of the stage, he had to move his chair when the ‘ministry’ time started at the end. Slouched and chewed gum through the whole time!? On stage sitting near choir were Ian Rossol, a ‘Bishop’ Lupiya and an asian businessman who co-ordinated event, sorry don’t know name, worship lead by mixed choir and worship leader from All Nations.

the event was a near washout, Benny was late having driven up from London, the worship was constantly interrupted by Hinn associate pleading for people to fill out some donation card or to give updates on whereabouts of Benny. Why was he not already in Leicester? I sat upstairs behind group of young teen girls who bounced up and down one minute and then rolled around the floor growling the next? No ministry came to them, some woman just patted one girl on the back and left them to it?

Hinn spoke on the Holy Spirit, some dubious comments from my view…certainly the disciples needed the power of the Holy Spirit to stand and be a witness for Jesus hence pentecost but some of the other stuff about Jesus lacking power, people not believing and the gospel not affecting people prior to the Acts 2 made me uncomfortable. A call to receive the baptism or a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit followed. The prayer for healing was a general thing and certain people went on stage to say they had been healed of bad legs? pain in stomach and one woman seemed to be manifesting demonically but no one knew who she was or if she came with any church and in my opinion it looked like an act of desperation from a clearly troubled person.

Still lots of smiling faces exited anticipating the promised return of Benny Hinn in the future…, the £10 I paid for the ticket provided me an opportunity to see in the flesh what I see on the TV but I came away thinking it so much hype and the ‘miracles’ left for another time…count me out.

David Hind and Ian Rossol…no surprise there. They have both departed from truth a long time ago.

Also had an entertaining time with Ian Rossol once and couldn’t believe that anyone couldn’t see straight through him.

This is a follow up to my previous posts about 3DM. It has been written following concerning reports recently brought to my attention from within the UK which I hope to expand upon at a later date.

For the record, Mike Breen has re-named his infamous “huddles” - they are now called “Missional Communities.” http://missionalcommunitiesblog.com/ The 3DM website has also changed: http://3dmovements.com/

3DM and The Order of Mission (TOM) were developed by Breen on the back of the nefarious Nine O Clock Service in Sheffield. TOM is based upon Roman Catholic monasticism, a dubious movement which came out of the Dark Ages, having influences from Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. It is very telling that so many church leaders find it useful to go back to the Dark Ages rather than to the apostolic period and the early church. How perverse to put geometric shapes (lifeshapes) combined with Roman Catholic monasticism ahead of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as if these things can somehow improve on God's word.

The Church of England endorse 3DM. Perhaps the uninformed are impressed by this endorsement, but what credibility does the CofE have? They are apostates, blighted by false doctrines and tainted by ecumenism and compromise through and through. They are blind guides who are leading their followers to Babylon.

Breen describes “huddles” AKA “Missional Communities” as a discipleship vehicles, the aim being accountability.

“…..accountability is so crucial if we ever hope to make disciples.” http://weare3dm.com/mikebreen/we-are-3dm/discipleship-without-accountability/

For all of his rhetoric about accountability, this is something that seems to be distinctly wanting in Breen's own life. His so called “apostolic” position as “Senior Guardian” of TOM has continued for a period of eleven years since April 6th 2003, and not the six years specified on the Order of Mission website. Breen claims to be accountable to the Visitors of the Order, the Council (the Guardians of the Order) and the Chapter itself, but the anomoly is that he says that he also seeks to be accountable to a monk at a local Benedictine Abbey!

Apostles do not exist in the church in the sense of the New Testament apostles.  The New Testament refers to the "apostles teaching" (Acts 2/42);  in other words THE original apostles had the authority to define doctrine. No one can put themselves in that position in the church since doctrine has already been defined.  "Apostles" exist in a lesser role as church planters, but they should always be accountable.  Breen says that he is at the top of the “totem pole” and that he has no peers! Totem poles are associated with Shamanism and the occult – this is certainly not an expression one would associate with a Christian ministry!  In any event to describe oneself as an APOSTLE and put oneself at the top of anything as a disciple of Jesus Christ is pure arrogance. Jesus Christ made himself nothing; Paul said he was the least of the apostles etc. (Philippians 2/7; 1 Corinthians 15/9)

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. (2 Peter 2/1)

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. (2 Corinthians 11/13)

I have to say that although I view Mike Breen as an out and out wolf in sheep's clothing, the blame for the devastation experienced by the churches who have incorporated 3DM must lie to a significant extent with the so called ministers (hirelings) who give a platform to false teachings. Without the hirelings, people like Mike Breen would not be able to peddle their teachings.

The terms false prophets and false teachers are interchangeable in the New Testament (2 Timothy 3/1-5). Jeremiah 23 is a polemic against the false prophets of his time. God holds the shepherds (pastors) responsible for giving a platform to false teachers/prophets:

An appalling and horrible thing has happened in the land:
the prophets prophesy falsely,

and the priests rule at their direction;
my people love to have it so,
but what will you do when the end comes?
(Jeremiah 5/30-31)

“Woe to the shepherds (pastors) who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!” declares the LORD. Therefore thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the shepherds who care for my people: “You have scattered my flock and have driven them away, and you have not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for your evil deeds, declares the LORD. (Jeremiah 23/1-2)

The role of a shepherd is to feed the flock of God with the Word of God and to protect them from the wolves. As in Jeremiah's time, these days many “pastors” do the diametric opposite and feed the sheep to the wolves!

The secrecy surrounding the implementation of 3DM within many churches is very ominous. 3DM is often introduced insidiously via “Leader Huddles” often with little or no reference to church members, so that secret elitist groups come to exist, often leaving bewildered congregations feeling excluded and betrayed. So much for Breen's accountability!  http://www.schooleyfiles.com/2013/11/mike-breen-and-building-discipling.html

One thing we can be sure of, Jesus Christ did not do anything in a corner. (Acts 26/26)

3DM exclusive “huddles/Missional Communities” make a complete mockery of Jesus Christ's high priestly prayer: Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. (John 17/22)

The very unity of the spirit that Jesus Christ prayed about in John 17 is negated by 3DM which creates “huddles” by invitation only for so called “people of peace” thus creating cliches of spiritually superior people. 3DM becomes the raison d’être and replaces the gospel of Jesus Christ. The thing that replaces the word is rooted in the spirit of antichrist, it is a pseudologon.

There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— (Ephesians 4/4)

The tabernacle was built according to the pattern that God gave to Moses (Exodus 25/9,40; 26/30 etc.) Similarly the church is built upon Jesus Christ and the apostles i.e. the God given pattern - not the pattern of any man. When God gives the pattern, it is pure arrogance if any man thinks that he can do any better.

Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example (the pattern) you have in us. (Philippians 3/17)

“Moving towards discipleship community with 3DM's process begins with the senior pastor picking up to a dozen 'persons of peace' and inviting them into a regular huddle. Persons of peace are people whose hearts have been prepared by the Spirit to hear the invitation and challenge to deeper personal discipleship.” http://godsfaintpath.com/3dm-taster

“The 'person of peace' is someone who is open to spiritual conversations and going deeper spiritually.”

“The 'person of peace' is the one who God has prepared in advance for you to advance the Kingdom.”

“If someone is not a 'person of peace,' then we entrust them to God and (move?) to someone else so that we can invest in the one(s) God has prepared for us.” The assumption is that God prepares people for us! –---- God prepares people for himself surely?

The implication of the above is that if you are not open to 3DM then you are spiritually defective; God is not working in your life and that you are not worth bothering with.

3DM is a highly manipulative appeal to pride as a tool to ensnare people into believing that they are spiritually superior to the other sad specimens in the church. They are in effect saying: “We are ready to progress to a higher level because we are the special ones God has chosen to prepare and are worthy to have the sought after designation of 'a person of peace' and to be part of 3DM.”  Others are denigraded as “not yet ready” and “not a person of peace”. This kind of inverted snobbery comes straight from the pit of hell.

Jesus Sends Out the Twelve Apostles

These twelve Jesus sent out, instructing them, “Go nowhere among the Gentiles and enter no town of the Samaritans, but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And proclaim (Greek κηρύσσετε) as you go, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay. Acquire no gold or silver or copper for your belts, no bag for your journey, or two tunicsd or sandals or a staff, for the laborer deserves his food. And whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy in it and stay there until you depart. As you enter the house, greet it. And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town. Truly, I say to you, it will be more bearable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town. (Matthew 10/5-15; Luke 10/9)

The twelve were to go to the Jews only i.e. “the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Their greeting (accompanied by signs) was the same message preached by John the Baptist and Jesus Christ: Repent for the the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Matthew 3/2; 4/17)

In Luke 10//1-12 the seventy two were instructed to first salute the inhabitants with the colloquial form of greeting “Peace be to this house” (1 Samuel 25/6). Notice also that it was directed towards households.

This was a proclamation directing the Jewish people to repent - it was not an invitation!

The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands (Greek παραγγέλλει all people everywhere to repent.....(Acts 17/30)  κηρύσσω and ἀπαγγέλλω are much stronger words than invite. The ESV translates παραγγέλλει "command" – it is to proclaim declare announce direct.  παραγγέλλει is also used in Mark 8/6: And he directed the crowd to sit down.  By using this passage Breen has twisted and demeaned the message of repentance and the nearness of the Kingdom to a pathetic invitation to join an unholy “huddle”. 3DM is not directed towards those outside the Kingdom who need to hear the message of repentance. 3DM is "an invitation to a deeper personal discipleship” directed towards scripturally ignorant Christians with the aim of interpreting the Bible through the prism of geometric shapes whilst incorporating unbiblical oaths and vows!  This has absolutely nothing in common with sending out the twelve/seventy two!  Breen is an eisegate.

Breen:... "A Kairos moment is one in which the Spirit brings something into our consciousness."  http://godsfaintpath.com/learning-circle

"God presents us all with kairos moments of our own."

There are 86 occurrences of kairos in the New Testament, none of which are connected to subjective personal revelation relevant only to the individual. Breen has over-spirituaized kairos and tagged on the word “moment” hence:

“What is God saying to me? (What is the learning situation aka 'kairos moment')” http://rediscoveringdiscipleship.com/2013/11/13/learning-to-discern/

Instead of kairos being objective it becomes a personal “learning situation” based on subjective experiential revelation which is then transposed into the “kairos learning circle”.

Breen's kairos becomes experiential revelation at an isolated moment in time relating personally to the individual. Biblical kairos is multi faceted and refers to an event or period of time accompanied by other events or signs within a certain context pointing to objective truth and relevant to many. This is not to say that the Holy Spirit does not reveal things to individuals, it is to dispute the validity of reducing the use of kairos with moment tagged on as a formulaic tool for individual repentance and faith.

For instance:

And behold, they cried out, “What have you to do with us, O Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?” (Matthew 8/29) This refers to the future time of judgement.

At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; (Matthew 11/25)
For the full context one has to read the chapter from verse 20– it refers to the unrepentant cities and the revelation of Jesus Christ as the Messiah to babes (νηπίοις).

STRONGS NT 2540: καιρός

a. universally, a fixed and definite time
b. opportune or seasonable time
c. the right time
d. a (limited) period of time
e. as often in Greek writings, and like the Latintempus, καιρός; is equivalent to what time brings, the state of the times, the things and events of time:

The Bible tells us: “.....be eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” (Ephesians 4/3)

How ironic that 3DM uses peace in order to bring the very opposite of what Christ intended i.e. disunity and division!

But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ. (2 Corinthians 11/3)

.....my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. (1 Corinthians 2:1-4-5)

Apart from being very badly written and dislocated, the article below contains some very questionable values and statements which are attached to 3DM.

“Invite into your huddle the persons of peace in your life and those who are willing to do what you ask them to do.” Those who are willing to do what YOU ask them to do!!!

“The written Word helps us understand the living Word.” The written word (scripture) IS the living Word!!!

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4/12)

“Discipleship creates mission. Mission creates discipleship.”  Without love for one another Christians cannot hope to be a witness to the outside world. The creation of exclusive "huddles" inevitably involves the rejection of others - this is not love!!!

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

“And all ye are brethren. (Matthew 23/8) The kindliness and mutual helpfulness of brotherhood are not prominent in our Lord's mind at this time. He was rather thinking of the equality of the brothers in one family. All are sons. No one of them is any more than a son. No one of them has any rights over his brother. The variety of gifts, talents, and dispositions in no way affects the equal rights of the brotherhood. All who push themselves into chief places, bid for special greetings, or claim to be masters - if they presume to call themselves Christ's disciples - sin against the equality of the Christian brotherhood.” http://biblehub.com/sermons/auth/tuck/the_equality_of_believers.htm

I would suggest that Mike Breen himself is not “a person of peace” as the phrase is biblically defined!  I would also suggest that we re-focus Breen's rejection of others back onto to himself and brush the dust off our feet. i.e. reject 3DM for the spiritual claptrap that it is and move forward with Jesus Christ as a true disciple of His.

Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. (Ephesians 5/11)

Anyone truly following Christ cannot submit to false teaching and sooner or later they have no choice but to separate.

Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues;" (Revelation 18/4)
