Paula White (City Destiny Church) and various other false NAR teachers have taken a lot of criticism over their failed Trump prophesies.. and rightly so!
Paula White denies being a prosperity preacher, a heretic or a cult leader, rather she defines herself as a "Charismatic Pentecostal" which is nothing to boast about and summarizes all of the above!
White is outraged and laments that it was "the church" that called her out rather than the atheists. If she read her bible she would know that it is the church, I mean the real church, that has the responsibility for calling out false teachers!
Paula White: "If your name’s not God, your opinion doesn’t matter and your acceptance is not needed. If your name is not God, Jehovah, Yahweh, El Shaddai, Jesus Christ then your opinion doesn’t matter and your acceptance is not needed.”
Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. (Matthew 7:15).
Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. (Acts 17:11).
I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. (Romans 16:17).
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1).
This is what the LORD of Hosts says: "Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They are filling you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD. (Jeremiah 23:16).
There are many more examples in the scriptures emphasizing the necessity of testing prophesies, rightly dividing the word of truth and calling out those who deviate from it. (2 Timothy 2:15; 1 Corinthians 14:29; 1 Thessalonians 5:21). We need not rely on "opinion" in cases of false prophesy, the scriptures are explicit! (Ezekiel 13:1-22). It most certainly is the responsibility of "the church" to discern false teaching.. what does the world know about it? These false prophets/teachers bring the gospel into disrepute and should be silenced.. although it appears that Paula White will not be quiet any time soon! (2 Peter 2:2; Titus 1:11).
This is obviously damage control by Paula White (Cain-an appropriate new surname) and a tactic used by other false teachers, such as Todd White and Kenneth Copeland. The latter indicated-without naming him- that the death of Walter Martin was due to his criticism of Copeland's teaching and prophecies.
ReplyDeleteI recall Kenneth Hagin stating that 'Christ' told him directly that people who were critical of his ministry would be struck down in the pulpit. (Interestingly, one of the respected intercessors in Hagin's circle died in a pulpit not long after I finished wasting two years of my life at Rhema in Tulsa)
No one's personal opinion matters if it is out of step with the full counsel of God, including the arrogant claims of these heretics, who are fulfilling the description of their ilk in Jude. Genuine Bereans are not intimidated by these words but those under the influence of these frauds who may be starting to question their validity can be affected by them.
The evangelical leaders who supported White in order to gain invitations to the White House and the associated prestige and praise of men (eg. Franklin Graham) have been conspicuously silent regarding the bizarre and now self-pitying public behaviour of Paula.
She is a walking sermon on "I suffer not that a woman should teach and usurp authority over the man".After her spectacular failure to prophesy and pray (with African angels on call) Trump into a second term, it is amazing to me that she maintains ANY kind of audience
My best to you, Mike
There is absolutely no sign that the false Trump prophets will repent Mike. Paula White knows nothing of the scriptures and continues to put her own slant on things. Their pitiful circus continues, but hopefully many will avoid them in the future.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
You can fool some of the people all of the time, as Abraham Lincoln said. It is satanic that a single person still takes any notice of what Copeland and his demonic cohort say. Copeland destroyed coronavirus in March last year. At Bethel a woman(!) acted like Gandalf and told the virus No further! And as Mike said, Paula White summoned angels from Africa. Must have got held up at immigration... if anyone doubts the existence of the devil, seeing these lying prophets and their blind followers is proof enough.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have to repeat that I got a lot of my information from atheist sites! As did Justin Peters in his four hour video. As far as I can see there are very very few Christian sites who have done as comprehensive a job as the atheist ones. The latest is that Kat Kerr, who is as bonkers as they come, still says that Trump is president - in heaven! It would be funny if it wasn’t so serious, and some people actually believe these lies.
I watched Justin Peters John, and although I do not agree with Calvinism there was some very good information on his video. How do you top the Gandalf stunt? One wonders what they will do next!
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Minor correction . I believe the pathetic and obviously occultic Gandolf-staff routine (done with Che Ahn, the virtual head of the NAR with thousands of churches globally under his 'Apostolic authority') was directed against the 'spirit of racism' in the church, NOT Covid. It was equally as useless and heretical.
ReplyDeleteThese frauds posing as Christians should be ashamed to use fantasy books/films as the basis of their spiritual doctrines and practices. It is a clear give away that they are not of Christ but are in fact wizards and witches themselves.
My best, Mike
Thank you Mike.
