CONVERGENCE21 is a "convergence Prophetic conference" at Holy Trinity Church Leicester, where attendees can and have their ears tickled by NAR "warrior prophets" Simon Braker, Emma Stark, Larry Sparks, Preethy Kurian and Rebecca King for the sum of £60. (Matthew 10:8; 2 Timothy 4:3-4).
"CONVERGENCE21 A time to gather encounter God and be inspired and equipped to jump into the new." {1}The subject of eschatology (the last things)
The bible is 100% accurate about past events concerning the birth of Jesus, the nation of Israel etc. As such we can be 100% sure that the bible is accurate about the second coming of Jesus and the literal fulfilment of the last things. In stark contrast, New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) prophets are unreliable and inaccurate. They were wrong about the re-election of Trump, they were wrong about COVID, and they are in error in many other ways. They quote scriptures out of context and their declaring and decreeing is a sham. Even in the face of glaring contradictions, these false prophets fulfil the scriptures and go from bad to worse. (2 Timothy 3:13). The unmistakable New Testament mandate for true followers of Jesus Christ is to avoid those who teach things contrary to the scriptures. (Romans 16:17 cf. 1 John 4:1; Acts 17:11).
If these NAR "prophets" were truly the mouthpiece of God as they claim to be, they would be accurate. What they teach about the last days is diametrically opposed to the scriptures. The scriptures warn many times about terrible end time events. (Matthew 24:3-23; 2 Timothy 3:1 cf. 1 Timothy 4:1-3; Jude 1:18)). Far from having "dominion" over the earth, Christians will see persecution; far from "revival" there will be a falling away (apostasy); far from true prophets there will be false prophets who will rise up from within the church. Those who declare themselves to be "apostles and prophets" are operating under a spirit of error and leading many professing Christians astray. (1 John 4:6 cf. 2 Corinthians 11:13). We have heard the imminent "revival" mantra ad nauseam from charismatics and NAR prophets, but where, or rather, in whom should we put our trust?
I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. (Acts 20:29-30).The destiny of false prophets and their followers
These are hidden reefs at your love feasts, as they feast with you without fear, shepherds feeding themselves; waterless clouds, swept along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, uprooted; wild waves of the sea, casting up the foam of their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved forever. (Jude 1:12-13).Many church leaders in Leicester have departed from the sound teaching of Jesus Christ and have gone after idols in the shape of their own agendas. (Philippians 2:21). If these leaders do not repent a terrible judgement awaits them! (Revelation 21:8 cf. Revelation 2:16-17).

Holly Pivec ~ In 2017, Holly Pivec was invited to speak about the New Apostolic Reformation to reporters from the nation’s top media outlets. She warned the media about the dangers of this movement. The two panelists defending it were NAR prophet James Goll and NAR apostle/President Trump’s pastor, Paula White.

A good, concise rundown of this horribly deluded movement, the outgrowth of the false, restorationist Pentecostal error. The Irvingites in England of the 1830's restored apostles and prophets, as did the grossly heretical Mormon Church. Once extra-biblical revelation is accepted and promoted, there is no end to the satanic delusiins which follow. These deceived leaders are deceiving multitudes. The NAR is reportedly the fastest-growing segment of professing, apostate Christianity. Your articles exposing the blasphemous heresies of mystic Emma Stark are spot-on. I fear those of her ilk are beyond correction and utterly possessed by their vain delusions.
ReplyDeleteDo you know how many have attended this CONvergence of CON-artists and frauds? Is a portion of the Anglican Church in sympathy with it?
These surely are perilous times for believers who are not discerning and grounded in the Word of God. My best to you, Mike
Thank you Mike. I am trying to warn people ahead of time.. this CONvergence will happen on the 18th - 20th November. There came a point when the Lord said to Jeremiah "As for you, do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer for them, and do not intercede with me, for I will not hear you."(Jeremiah 7:16). I hope the leaders in Leicester (and beyond) will repent and turn to God before it is too late. I am praying for people to come out of this movement.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Thank you for this, Treena. I suppose some of us tend to think of the NAR as being ‘over there’, but of course it’s over here too.
ReplyDeleteAs for the Anglican Church - I went to a local-ish one a few years ago. The vicar produced a tube of oil which had been ‘blessed’ by the dreaded Todd Bentley, and invited people to be anointed so they could share in the ‘impartation’. That was the last time I went there!
I pray that God will confound their plans and reveal His truth to all involved.
And thank you Treena for bringing this to our attention, so we can pray with insight.
Many blessings
John
Thank you John your prayers are much appreciated. I would run a mile from any oil "blessed" by Todd Bentley!
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
