John McGinley Holy Trinity Church Leicester: Destination Babylon Full Steam Ahead!!!

It is utterly heartbreaking to read John McGinley's news on Twitter that he attended Bill Johnson's European Leaders Advance 2015.  https://twitter.com/johnmcginleyhtl

I have written previously about Bill Johnson and Bethel Church in Redding, California. Bill Johnson is one of the most dangerous false teachers of our time. This is not my opinion alone, but many others are warning about him. I am utterly shocked and horrified that John McGinley should entertain such a person, and in turn infect others with the lies of Satan. As I write this post I am wondering whether McGinley knows exactly what he is doing (2 Corinthians 11:13-15), or whether he has gone that far into error that the Lord has given him over to a depraved mind (Romans 1:28). Whatever the case, McGinley is playing with fire and he is putting the precious souls in his congregation in great danger of hell. I have previously written that Holy Trinity plays host to a whole plethora of false teachings:

http://bewareofthewolves.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/bill-johnsons-sozo-poison-occult.html

An important question to ask is: Why does the Bible warn us repeatedly about false teachers and false prophets if they are not a real and present danger to our faith and salvation? (Matthew 7:15; 24:3-12; 2 Corinthians 11:13; 1 Timothy 4:1; 2 Peter 2:1-3; Jude 1:4 etc.)

I will go over some of the material I have covered in the past for the sake of the people who attend Holy Trinity in the hope that the Lord will help any that are truly seeking the truth, and that they will find a way of escape from the lies of Satan (1 Corinthians 10:1-22).

Firstly, it is imperative to understand that the scriptures are God's inerrant Word, they are God breathed and inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:19-21; John 17:17; Psalm 19:7). Jesus Christ is the Word (John 1:14). The pure teaching of Jesus Christ and the apostles has come to us at great cost, beginning with the Lord Himself, then the apostles and also martyrs like William Tyndale who gave their lives to make it possible for us to receive the gospel. The scriptures make it very clear that nothing should be added or taken away from the word of God (Deuteronomy 4:2; 12:32; Joshua 1:7; Proverbs 30:6; Matthew 28:20 Revelation 22:18-19). It is very simple - the scriptures are our point of reference, they are the test for whatever teaching comes to us, so that we can discern true or false doctrines (1 John 4:1). Once we have this settled, then with the help of the Holy Spirit, things become much clearer and easier to discern.

If we reject the authority of the scriptures then everything is lost - we are either relying on human opinion (Proverbs 18:2; 28:26; Jeremiah 14:14; 23:9-40) or doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4:1).

Jesus answer to Satan when he misrepresented God's word: "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4)

Those who reject the scriptures as the inerrant word of God are actually rejecting Jesus Christ! God warns us that in the time just prior to His return there will be an end time rebellion (apostasia) and that he will send a deluding influence upon those who refuse to love the truth so that they will believe what is false. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12)  Much of Christendom has now departed from the truth and is in open rebellion against God. This warning therefore applies to what we know as "the church" just as much as to false religions and unbelievers.

As I have pointed out before, Bill Johnson utterly fails the test of scripture. Johnson claims to be an "apostle" with greater revelation than that of the original twelve apostles of Jesus Christ.  As I have demonstrated above, the scriptures are a closed cannon, they cannot be "updated"; nothing can be added to taken away from them. The teachings and the "manifestations" coming from Johnson and Bethel Church are completely demonic in many cases and an abomination to God, for instance their practice of Gravesucking (witchcraft and necromancy), open heaven experiences, manifestations such as gold flakes, glory clouds, angel feathers, angel orbs, and much, much more. Please read my previous posts about Bethel Church and Johnson:

http://bewareofthewolves.blogspot.co.uk/2015/04/grave-sucker-bill-johnson-to-join.html http://bewareofthewolves.blogspot.co.uk/2015/04/abominations-in-temple-new-apostolic.html

Three Questions are asked of Johnson in the above Video:
Does God ever cause sickness?
Does God ever choose not to heal?
What was Paul's thorn in the flesh?

Johnson: "You can only give away what you have. Can God give away sickness? No - He is not sick."

GOD IS SOVEREIGN!!!

The hand of the LORD was heavy against the people of Ashdod, and he terrified and afflicted them with tumors, both Ashdod and its territory. (1 Samuel 5:6)

Behold, I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works.....  (Revelation 2:22)

Though the Lord can and does heal, it is pure presumption to assume that He always heals his people as Johnson asserts:

Erastus remained at Corinth, and I left Trophimus, who was ill, at Miletus. (2 Timothy 4:20)

No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments. 2 Timothy 4:20)

I am not disputing that Bill Johnson is a very clever man. These lies slip off his tongue so easily, but he cannot back them up with the scriptures!

Experience should never trump doctrine. Let your faith be based in the scriptures, not on subjective manifestations. No matter how profound, supernatural, or popular any ministry claims to be, measure everything against the written Word of God.

See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. (Colossians 2:8)

the saul syndrome: howard conder's wilful rebellion against god - revelation tv

The incredible delusion of Howard Conder still does not fail to astonish me. Actually I have come to believe that it is far worse than delusion, Conder is in wilful rebellion against God.

Watch The Late Show Tuesday the 23rd of June 2015 from about 5:30 minutes in - Conder's remarks last for about three and a half minutes (thankfully not too long to endure).
http://www.revelationtv.com/programmes/episode/the-late-show407359

The Saul Syndrome

It is significant that Howard Conder's behaviour mirrors that of King Saul (1 Samuel 15:1-34). Saul disobeyed God's command to ".....go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them....." (1 Samuel 15:3). He was confronted by Samuel after he had spared King Agag and all he considered "good" (1 Samuel 15:1-9,13). Saul's reaction - he made excuses and insisted that he had performed the commandment of the Lord (1 Samuel 15:20). King Saul had an “above the law” (lawless) mentality, and when challenged by God's prophet, his attitude was that of denial and self-justification rather than repentance. Samuel's response: “What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears and the lowing of the oxen that I hear?” (1 Samuel 15:14) We might rephrase Samuel's question and ask Howard Conder: What is this bleating of false teachers in my ears and the lies that I hear?

We might also repeat Samuel's further questions and ask Howard Conder:

Why then did you not obey the voice of the Lord
Why did you pounce on the spoil and do what was evil in the sight of the Lord?
(1 Samuel 15:19)

The commandment of God:

For an overseer, as God’s steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it. (Titus 1:7-9) Conder actually promotes false doctrines!

See also Romans 16:17; 2 Peter 2:1-3; 1 John 4:1-3; Matthew 7:15-20; 1 Timothy 1:3, 10; 1; 4:1-5, 6:3, 20-21; 2 Timothy 4:3; Titus 2:1; 3:10 etc. etc.

Conder has flagrantly ignored clear and repeated scriptural warnings about the false teachers/doctrines that he promotes. This is nothing short of outright rebellion against God, and yet he continues to air these false teachers, even admitting that they are "iffy" (1 Samuel 15:23). Just like King Saul, Conder continues to persist in his arrogant rebellion, insisting that he does follow the Lord, despite all the evidence to the contrary.

Now the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and a harmful spirit from the LORD tormented him. (1 Samuel 16:14)

After the Lord had abandoned him, Saul degenerated into a cluster of abnormal behaviours - mood swings, anxiety, paranoia, depression, outbursts of anger, obsession (he saw traitors everywhere), false accusations, threats etc. Conder suffers from a similar cluster of abnormal behaviours doesn't he? He openly admits suffering from mood swings, depression and suicidal thoughts; he is well known for his unfortunate outbursts of anger, and he is not averse to making false accusations and issuing vile personal threats against his critics. Through his sinful behaviour, Conder has created his own false reality in order to control others for personal gain through lies, manipulation, and sympathy through outward displays of self-created suffering, hardship and victimhood.  http://bewareofthewolves.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/revelation-tv-howard-conder-breathes.html

Today we would probably label Saul's condition unipolar depression or bipolar affective disorder. There is also a condition called cognitive dissonance, a condition of conflict or anxiety resulting from inconsistency between one’s beliefs and one’s actions. However, Saul did not have a medical condition, the Bible tells us specifically that he was tormented by an evil spirit from God. Saul ended very badly in out and out witchcraft at En-dor (1 Samuel 28:7), and he ended his own life by by suicide (1 Samuel 31:1-7). Conder also seeks out mediums and false prophets, though he does it under the guise of Christianity.

So Saul died for his breach of faith. He broke faith with the LORD in that he did not keep the command of the LORD, and also consulted a medium, seeking guidance. (1 Chronicles 10:13)

FALSE VALIDATION

It was false prophet Jonathan David who first implanted the delusional idea into Conder's mind that he was going to be a modern day “Elijah” in 1994. I have already discussed Jonathan David's "Elijah Prophecy" over Conder in a separate post: http://bewareofthewolves.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/revelation-tv-howard-conders-delusional.html

Now apparently we have another false prophet "encouraging" Conder's self-delusion and rebellion:

Conder:  "A dear man of God who calls me quite regularly, and he did again today, because I had a terrible day yesterday. I mean you don't know this, but actually behind the scenes, the mask and everything, I was at pretty much at walking away point. I get there often but don't worry. God has allowed me to go through these times..... and I am really in a terrific mood today. Yesterday the enemy was whispering in my ear 'take your life', how stupid can you get..... Today the other..... my God is whispering in my ear and He (God) has also reminded me of what He spoke through this man of God who spoke to me today and actually just gives me such encouragement and I want to thank that man of God. He wrote on Wednesday the 9th of July at 9:30am 2008, he actually spoke to me on the phone, but he wrote it down."

"Howard I saw a dark cloudy sky, but in the distance was a shaft of bright sunshine..... The Lord would say to you; 'I have given you over to Satan to test you and to try you, even though when you look at the circumstances, it will look terrible. Do not fret for I have given my angels to watch over you. I am calling you to set your face towards the light, and you will reach that light. You have called out saying "Why me Lord I am old and tired and when can I relax?"' The Lord would say to you Howard that - 'There will be plenty of time to relax, but now I have a job for you to do, and very few people with the right heart to do my calling. I have called you for this special purpose at this special time and I will give you the tools you need, and the finances you require. The enemy has set his face against you, and he has set his face against my people, Israel. You will win and you must set your face and your mind and your heart towards me. Whatever happens, don't look back or sideways, for if you do you will miss my best. Howard, you know I have had my hand on you from the beginning, even though you thought you could do it your way, you have discovered it is better to walk in my ways. I will watch over your family and I have set a fence around them, so have no fear for I have a plan and a purpose that I am working out. Be willing to allow me to direct your path; it is what you wanted so don't be surprised and I have much more in store for you to accomplish and a shaft of light that you will receive when you come out from under the clouds. Be at peace and watch me work.'"

Indeed there are very few people who have the right heart to do God's calling, and Howard Conder cannot possibly be one of them. Conder thinks he has a calling for a "special purpose" from the Lord - this smacks of  narcissism! A person with a genuine calling from God does not find it necessary to repeatedly justify their ministry in order to convince others as Conder frequently does. Anyone with God's calling on their life will walk in the light as he is in the light (1 John 1:7). Genuine ministers of the Lord hold on to sound doctrine as a priority, despite having personal faults and weaknesses (Titus 1:9). Like Saul, Conder has disqualified himself from the ministry because he has rejected the word of the Lord (1 Samuel 15:26). Jacob Prasch makes an interesting point in the video below: Once leaders depart from the truth and are unable to validate themselves biblically, they have to seek other ways to validate themselves. They do not hear from the Lord any more, and so they have to find other ways to convince people that they are who they claim to be. This is precisely what Conder does - he attempts to justify his "ministry" by citing spurious sources in order to achieve validation. To fail the test of scripture concerning faithfulness to the teaching of Christ and the apostles is to fail at the first hurdle, and to attempt to back it up with questionable false prophecies is abominable. Conder originally claimed validation from Jonathan David's false "prophecy", given in 1994. Now he has cited this 2008 "prophecy" from an unnamed source which is equally ridiculous. If someone has the audacity to speak in the first person of the Lord, then my advice is to be very, very wary. I do not say that from a cessationist point of view by the way.

NARCISSISM:

"A preoccupation with fantasies of unlimited success. True narcissists are not interested in truth or reality — or you. They concoct a vision of success that becomes their obsession. These fantasies are often bred by the vain promises of church growth gurus and images presented by megachurches and television ministries. In the mean time, present reality is usually overstated. When contradictory facts and figures are submitted it makes them angry, and the messenger is denounced as negative."
http://enrichmentjournal.ag.org/200704/200704_000_saul_syndrome.cfm

It is my opinion that God Himself has set his face against Howard Conder. He is not being tested/tried by Satan as this so called "man of God" claims. Why would God allow Satan to test someone who has already failed the test of faith and compromised the gospel? God allows Satan to test the blameless, not the unfaithful (Job 1:8; Matthew 4:1; Revelation 2:9-10).

Conder: "......I do get those dark moments and the enemy wants to destroy not only me but Revelation TV. It's not my vision, its God's... so he or she who comes against this vision, woe betide you because its not me that you are putting down, but God has a will and purpose, even though I am absolute rubbish, a sinner I fail miserably etc. etc.

Conder is presumptuous enough even to think that he can issue threats on God's behalf! When these false teachers can't answer scripturally, they resort to pathetic fear tactics and threats. False prophet Benny Hinn places curses all who dare to speak a word against his ministry: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wAQ5ftiEqE

Each of us will give an account of ourselves to God on the day of judgement (Matthew 12:36). I would not like to be in Conder's shoes on that day.

A WARNING

Talking of woes, perhaps Conder should consider the far reaching consequences of Saul's rebellion beyond his own death. There were disastrous consequences for his family, his associates and his followers (1 Chronicles 10:6; 1 Samuel 31:6; 2 Samuel 21:1-14); it even brought a famine on the land (2 Samuel 21:1). There is indeed a famine in the land in our time - a famine of hearing the word of of the Lord (Amos 8:11). In contradiction to the false prophecy promising a "fence" around Conder's family, I believe that there will be devastating consequences for his rebellion, not only for himself, but for his family, his associates and his followers. God is not mocked (Galatians 6:7).

Some say that we continue to struggle with the consequences of Saul's disobedience even to this day. Haman the Agagite was considered to be an Amalekite (Esther 3:1).We cannot know who the descendants of Amalek are today, but some link them with the present day enemies of the Jews. I (God) shall surely erase the memory of Amalek from under the heavens...God maintains a war against Amalek from generation to generation." (Exodus 17:14-16)

People like Conder who promote doctrines of demons are God's enemies - they leave a terrible legacy. They facilitate Satan's agenda to deceive and destroy (Daniel 8:25). Those who fail to uphold sound doctrine are like Saul, they compromise the Lord's work and become his enemies.

In my view, the likelihood of people like Conder being open to help is negligible. When confronted by their sinful behaviour, people like Saul and Conder usually become harder and harder - they refuse to take the right way out which is repentance. Though I do hope that Conder does repent, my concern lies primarily with the people that he is deceiving.

For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said,

“I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
Therefore go out from their midst,
and be separate from them, says the Lord,
and touch no unclean thing;
then I will welcome you,
and I will be a father to you,
and you shall be sons and daughters to me,
says the Lord Almighty.”
(2 Corinthians 6:14-18)

Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; (Revelation 18:4. See also Jeremiah 51:45)

REVELATION TV: HOWARD CONDER SAYS CHARITY COMMISSION ARE "DESPICABLE" AND "DUH - THICK" - INTERIM MANAGER TO BE APPOINTED!!!

The Charity Commission is to appoint an Interim Manager to act in the administration of the Revelation Foundation. This very serious step was downplayed by Conder, Pettie and Tun on air last night who completely misrepresented the true picture. The Charity Commission HAVE NOT stated that there is "loss or misappropriation of charitable funds" at all!!! The Commissions wording is actually: "potential significant loss of chariticable funds....."  The word twisting and the suggestion that the Commission's "silence" means that there is no case to answer is typical of RTV's underhand tactics of distorting the facts.

http://www.revelationtv.com/programmes/episode/the-late-show872866
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-charity-investigation-revelation-foundation
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/interim-manager-appointed-to-revelation-foundation

RTV's statement below is dishonest and misleading. Feeding misinformation to the public to their own advantage is to pre-empt the outcome of the investigation. This is completely unacceptable. RTV should be made to retract their deceptive statement: ".....the Charity Commission has identified no loss or misappropriation of charitable funds by the trustees”.

"A spokeswoman from the Commission told Civil Society News that this part of the statement was completely untrue."

http://www.civilsociety.co.uk/governance/news/content/19866/charity_commission_appoint_interim_manager_to_christian_charity_after_investigation

Statement from Revelation TV 16th June 2015

"After a thorough investigation of Revelation Foundation over nine months the Charity Commission has identified no loss or misappropriation of charitable funds by the trustees. (!!!) The day to day operations of Revelation Foundation have continued throughout, without interference from the Charity Commission and no criticism has been made of programme content or production. The Charity Commission has noted the legal and accounting complexities of Revelation Foundation’s activities in the UK and Spain and has appointed an accountant to act as an interim manager to work with the trustees to resolve issues relating to the legal and accounting procedures of Revelation Foundation and its associated Spanish companies. The trustees have nothing to hide and welcome this appointment and will draw upon the expertise of the accountant and his team to ensure the public have full assurance as to the work of the trust."
http://www.revelationtv.com/rnews/entry/charity-commission-finds-no-loss-of-charitable-funds

The Charity Commission can take the very serious step of appointing an Interim Manager to act in the administration of a charity after opening a statutory inquiry if it considers that:
  • there has been misconduct or mismanagement in the administration of a charity or
  • it is necessary or desirable to protect the charity’s property
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/how-the-charity-commission-appoints-interim-managers

Conder's manners do not improve. His verbal abuse now extends to the Charity Commission as well as to his critics.  He called the Charity Commission "despicable" and at one point at about 50 minutes in he said "duh - how thick can you get." I am sure he will continue to endear himself to the Commission in the future!

No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who utters lies shall continue before my eyes. (Psalm 101:7)

SATANIC ATTACK OR STUPIDITY?

RTV take the deluded view that the investigation by the Charity Commission is the work of Satan and they frequently bemoan this so called "fact".

"We do believe that we are in a spiritual battle. Certainly the enemy is using the investigation to cause us to have a great deal of time taken away from ‘Kingdom business.’"
http://www.revelationtv.com/rnews/entry/charity-commission-update

It is very unwise of RTV to publish such statements, but we should not be surprised. Such remarks are likely to alienate both the nonchristian general public and the Charity Commission. They do nothing to promote the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ!

What RTV calls "Kingdom business" is rank apostasy. I am positive that Satan is very happy to let RTV continue airing their false teachings without interference. Even if this investigation were the work of Satan (and it is not) then RTV should be rejoicing. The apostle Paul's view of hardship and persecution stands in stark contrast to the beligerant attitude of RTV (Philippians 3:8-10..... See also Romans 10:1, 12:12; 1 Corinthians 11:24; 2 Timothy 3:12; James 1:2-4; 1 Peter 2:23).

REVELATION TV: DIRTY MONEY AND THE DELUSIONAL WORLD OF HOWARD CONDER!

While we wait for Charity Commissions inquiry into the Revelation Foundation to come to a conclusion, several things are now coming to light which should horrify any discerning viewer of Revelation TV (RTV).

HOWIES BAR

Conder and his wife have denied any involvement with, or knowledge of, "Howies" bar/club in La Cala. THEY LIED!!! There is unequivocal evidence which shows their involvement:

The Registrant Organisation for HOWIESCLUB.COM is 21st Century Television Ltd
Registrant Name: Howard Conder:
http://whois.domaintools.com/howiesclub.com
http://www.theolivepress.es/spain-news/2014/04/03/singing-for-your-supper-in-mijas/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmadpn5Hh5s&feature=youtu.be

It would appear that Howard Conder invested the "dirty money" he made from false bible teachers into Howies bar/club and also a luxury yacht whilst at the same time claiming on Building the Foundation that RTV is run on a shoestring and can hardly make ends meet. Many viewers responded generously to Conder and Pettie's frequent appeals for funds, and gave out of their poverty sacrificially because of the sincerity of their commitment to Christ. This is deception of a terrible kind and I hope the findings of Charity Commission will go some way towards ex-contributors being empowered to legally claim their money back.

Please read Sarah Acotts post for more unsavoury details about Howies bar/club:
https://godvschristianity.wordpress.com/2015/06/04/howies-bar-and-questionable-behaviour-from-revelation-tv-staff/

The Conder children have also raised some eyebrows, given the fact that they have all been employed by RTV at one time or another. Luke Conder's involvement in Playboy parties called “Snogg and Sintillate” (sin til late) for example:

https://twitter.com/Luke_Conder

Howard Conder's Delusional Behaviour

Howard Conder's delusional/irrational behaviour has caused consternation in several quarters and it has been very damaging to a number of people. He has accused, threatened, vilified and lied about others unremittingly, even calling his critics "demons bullies and creeps". Self control and discipline are essential qualifications for those in Christian leadership (1 Timothy 3:2; Titus 1:5-9). Sadly the essential qualities necessary for a credible Christian witness (2 Peter 1:5-11; 2 Timothy 1:7) are demonstrably lacking in Conder, whose repeated outbursts, both verbal and written, have been truly shocking.

http://bewareofthewolves.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/revelation-tv-howard-conder-twisted.html

Arbitration

Unsurprisingly, given Conder's temperament, plans for an arbitration meeting with Sarah Acott and Sheila xxxxxx have turned into a complete fiasco. Sarah Acott has reported these details on on her blog: https://godvschristianity.wordpress.com/2015/06/06/apologies-and-a-call-for-arbitration-conder-digs-a-bigger-hole/

Talking about Qualifications

It is a fallacy that anyone who uses the prefix title “doctor” before their name has successfully completed the appropriate academic course study, and has been awarded a doctorate degree by an accredited university.

A growing problem is the huge number of Mickey Mouse honorary doctorate degrees that have been given to financial patrons of universities as well as those that have been granted by non-accredited colleges. Many who receive these honorary “degrees” immediately append the “doctor” title to their names, and they do so with no disclosure about their lack of appropriate educational achievement. In my view this is unethical.

RTV presenter "Dr Hugh" aka "Pastor" Hugh Jackman is one such person who has availed himself of an Honorary Doctorate in Ministry (Dmin), awarded by Excel University in November 2014.

"Rev. Dr" Felicity Corbin-Wheeler appears in Get Well Stay Well on RTV. Corbin-Wheeler is NOT a medical doctor, she is an honorary Doctor of Divinity (DD). This would be an impressive qualification if gained in the UK, however in the US it is an honorary degree.

"Dr" Grady McMurtry - DD, School of Theology, Columbus, Georgia - 1996. McMurtry describes himself as a "Biblical Scientific Creationist Apologist" and is a regular guest on RTV. http://www.creationworldview.org/aboutus.asp

There are no details to be found anywhere about the "doctorate" of cult leader and proven false prophet "Dr" Jonathan David (who prophesied the ludicrous "Elijah prophecy" over Conder).
http://bewareofthewolves.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/revelation-tv-howard-conders-delusional.html

In fact, the majority of TV evangelists, some of whom appear on RTV, have honorary "doctorates":

John Hagee, Jesse Duplantis, Joyce Meyer, Creflo Dollar, Frederick K.C. Price, Mike Murdock, Perry Stone, Jack Van Impe, Rod Parsley, Rodney Howard-Browne, Kenneth Copeland, Norvel Hayes, Kevin McNulty, Benny Hinn. Fred Price, TD Jakes, Randy White, Marilyn Hickey, Paul (David) Yonggi Cho..... the list is endless.

Does it matter? Yes actually it does. Those who hold worthless honorary doctorates in theology with no sound theological training are all too often the ones teaching false doctrines. In order to compensate for their lack of gifting and calling, these wolves in sheep's clothing attempt to validate their “ministries” with honorary doctorates which in no way, shape, or form are comparable to a real PhD. In other words, their fake gospel and their fake degrees go hand in hand.

What does this tell us? They love their titles to be seen before men - they seek worldly honour:

They do all their deeds to be seen by others.(Matthew 23:5-12)

Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. (Philippians 2:3)

Those who have graduated with an authentic PhD in Theology from an accredited institution have studied for several years, learning how to translate the scriptures from the original languages, biblical backgrounds, in-depth studies of each book of the Bible and the doctrinal errors of cults etc. I am not saying that an authentic qualification is a necessary requirement for someone to teach the Bible effectively. Many well-known pastors and teachers with no theological qualifications are called and gifted by God. Nevertheless, serious study of some form is required, whether at a reputable institution or privately, not for the sake of a title or a qualification, but to show oneself approved.

Paul's instruction to Timothy: Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. (2 Tim. 2:15)

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge..... (2 Peter 1:5)

HOWARD CONDER REVELATION TV: APOLOGY FOR FALSE ACCUSATIONS BUT WHAT ABOUT THE GOSPEL?

Howard Conder via Facebook:

"In and around December 2014 and or January 2015, I published certain names on my own Facebook of those whom I thought had complained to the Charity Commission about members of the Revelation Foundation and included myself and members of my own family.

From memory, I named persons such as Sarah nee J., Chris F. and Sheila P. whom I believed had conspired to bring Revelation TV down and or malign members of the Revelation Tv team including members of the Conder Family. Now if this was not the case that these persons in particular did not themselves bring their individual gripes and assumptions nor did they conspire between themselves or others to defame or misrepresent the truth, then I sincerely apologise to one and all.

I personally have come to the position that I place my trust in the living God to bring to a conclusion what I call is at the very least, misunderstandings between some members of the body of Christ and the workings of our ministry within the various organisations associated to the running of Revelation TV.

With the time that is left in my life I would rather not try and defend every tounge that rises up against us,therefore I place myself under the judgement of Christ otherwise we all would be forever spending time on protecting our reputations and lose our focus and precious time in trying to bring others into the Kingdom of God.

Once again, if I have hurt anyone in any way when I tried in the past to defend myself and my family, then I am truly sorry.

My prayer and hope is that one day we can all fulfil this scripture: “Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity… Psalm 133 verse 1
Amen."

LET US ANALYSE CONDER'S TOKEN APOLOGY

Howard Conder published the names of certain people he thought had complained to the Charity Commission! We can all think a lot of unfounded accusatory things, but to put them into the public domain is unscriptural. The Bible tells us that every matter MUST be established by two or three witnesses (2 Corinthians 13:1) Conder did not even have ONE witness! Conder has realised his mistake in this respect which is something, but it does beg the question about the wisdom of such an action. Even by worldly standards this was very foolish. Conder seems to be under the delusion that he should be the judge of whether it was right or wrong for people to report the Revelation Foundation to the Charity Commission. The Bible says that the authorities are God's servants to carry out God's wrath on the wrongdoer (Romans 13:4). If those reporting the Revelation Foundation to the Charity Commission had a genuine case that the law was broken, then they were absolutely within their legal rights in doing so! Conder's opinion about this is irrelevant. Conder believed that there was a conspiracy to bring down RTV and to malign members of his family. Who is Conder to dictate who can and who cannot have conversations with one another about RTV, and what evidence does he have that this was a conspiracy to defame or misrepresent the truth? I find Conder's twisted logic and arrogance quite disgusting, especially considering that he himself has publicly defamed Sarah Acott and others without reason. Ironically, RTV themselves are past masters at misrepresenting financial information and maligning the truth!

I also know that Gordon Pettie (aka Ian Gordon Pettie?) has threatened legal action against believers who have personal grievances against RTV in order to intimidate them into silence. To issue such a threat is despicable. The apostle Paul was appalled because believers were taking legal action against one another in courts before unbelievers. He calls this action shameful - he wrote to the Corinthians church, rather let yourself be wronged, or let yourself be defrauded before doing such a wicked thing:

When one of you has a grievance against another, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints? Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases? Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this life! So if you have such cases, why do you lay them before those who have no standing in the church? I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to settle a dispute between the brothers, but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers? To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? But you yourselves wrong and defraud—even your own brothers! (1 Corinthians 6:1-8)

Conder refers to the damage of gross financial deception and slander caused by himself and his associates  "misunderstandings" !!!  The weightiness of what RTV have done is far more serious than misunderstandings - they have brought the way of truth into disrepute (2 Peter 2:2)!

Conder cannot defend the indefensible and he claims to have placed himself under the judgement of Christ so that he can focus his precious time in trying to bring others into the Kingdom of God! How does Conder imagine that the false teachers he airs will bring anyone into the Kingdom of God?  Faithful Christians have been hurt terribly in the process of Conder's ambition and empire building at whatever cost. The real cost has tragically been the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Conder will indeed face the judgement of Christ unless he repents. The only thing that Conder has repented of (in writing anyway) is making very serious false accusations against those who were concerned to uphold integrity at RTV. What about gross nepotism, lack of wisdom, threats, outbursts of anger, financial deception and slander? What about airing false teachers with a false gospel and putting the love of money ahead of the Gospel? RTV are STILL airing false teachers for money! What does all this say about Conder's character and his ability to run a so called Christian TV station? The best thing he could do is to shut down Revelation TV completely and stick to running secular clubs, bars and other ungodly pursuits.

Conder's parting shot is for unity Psalm 133:1. Jesus Christ's prayer for unity is dependant upon keeping his word (John 17:6,8) God's word is TRUTH (John 17:17, 19). Truth is something very sadly lacking in both the false teachers that RTV airs and the behaviour of its founder and staff.

JOHN 17

When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.

“I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.

I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.”

UPDATE

Howard Conder via Facebook:

".....Disappointingly, it has since been reported to me that some of those same
folk have chosen to use this Facebook page to promote further dissention
rather than seek a peaceful solution. For this reason, since the apology is
clearly not received and the matter still unresolved, this Facebook page will
be closed whilst I seek Pastoral advice for the purpose of allowing an
arbitration to take place where my accusers can put their cases foward to a
panel of Pastors in the body of Christ that are well respected and are full of
wisdom in order to judge me and my accusers.
I will stand or fall according to their judgement for I fear not what my
accusers say.
Meanwhile let us not forget the declaration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to
a fallen world.
I hope to start the ball rolling next week so that we can once and for all sort
this situation out.
I think this is scriptural for it is written that those in the Body of Christ have
the responsibility to judge between the brethren as they are soon to judge
the Angels."

COMMENTS

Howard Conder has once again used his Facebook page to vilify others and to claim that those with genuine concerns about his behaviour are promoting dissension. Indeed this matter is still unresolved - but why? How long did Sarah Acott and others seek a "peaceful solution" How many complaints from viewers have RTV completely ignored, going back not days, not months, but years in time?  I believe that the time frame for arbitration has long since past. Why does Conder suddenly want to break the mould and do things biblically at this point in time, and what does he hope to achieve by seeking arbitration apart from saving face? If arbitration does go ahead, I will be very interested to see which "pastors" he uses. We can discount Hugh Jackman, whose Mickey Mouse honorary "doctorate" is consistent with his obvious lack of biblical knowledge - such a man is unqualified to call himself a "pastor": http://bewareofthewolves.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/revelation-tv-howard-conder-twisted.html

I sincerely doubt if Conder knows any pastors in the Body of Christ who are well respected and full of wisdom. Those men who are qualified for such a task, like Jacob Prasch and Bob Mitchell, shunned Conder long ago. Maybe Conder can get some of his apostate cronies from God TV like Joyce Meyer to arbitrate, or alternatively perhaps one of his Seventh Day Adventist buddies will do the job!

Conder: "Let us not forget the gospel of Jesus Christ to a fallen world...."  Is he having a laugh!!!

Howard Conder continues to support a FALSE GOSPEL by giving false teachers a platform for money, he should take his own advice!!!

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. (Galatians 1:8)

New Wine Deception: Holy Trinity Church Leicester and Leicester City Vineyard Church

What Is New Wine And What Is Its History?

New Wine is a very dangerous movement of churches in the UK which was originally established in 1989 as a Christian festival under the leadership of Anglican vicar David Pytches of St. Andrew's Church in Chorleywood. The story of New Wine begins with false teacher/prophet, the late John Wimber, who had a considerable influence upon Pytches.

During the 1980s, Pytches hosted number of hyped up meetings at the Docklands Arena together with John Wimber and the Kansas City (false) Prophets (KCP) including Paul Cain and Mike Bickle. In 1990 Pytches wrote bestseller "Some Said It Thundered" which gave credence to the false teachings and bizarre manifestations associated with the KCP. St Andrew's Chorleywood also spawned false prophet/teacher Mark Stibbe, Pytches successor. Both Stibbe and Pytches were fervent supporters of the Toronto deception fronted by John and Carol Arnott. Wimber, Pytches and the KCP were determined to have a "revival" one way or the other, but it soon became clear that they were false prophets, puffed up with their own delusional unbiblical ideas rather than the true wisdom that comes from God. (1 Corinthians 1:25). Toronto was followed by the Brownsville Revival aka the Pensacola Outpouring (John Kilpatrick), and the Lakeland Revival in 2008, headed up by "Mr Bam" himself, Todd Bentley.

In February 1990, Paul Cain, falsely predicted a supernatural revival which would start in Britain and spread into Germany in October of that year. Mike Bickle claimed to have had five separate confirmations of this false prophecy, but it failed to materialise.

Paul Cain: “Thus saith the Lord: Revival will be released in England in October of 1990....."

John Wimber: "In February of 1990 at the 'Holiness' conference in Anaheim over 9,000 people from all over the world heard Paul Cain prophesy that revival would begin in England. He said, “The first shot [of revival] is going to be fired when John [Wimber] comes to England the next time.” He was referring to our scheduled October meetings."
http://holyworldwide.com/dustinhedrick/?page_id=1835

These "prophets" even denied the clear teaching in God's Word and reinterpreted the demonic horde of locusts in Joel’s apocalyptic vision "prophetically" as Joel's Army i.e. themselves and their deluded followers. (Joel 2:4; Revelation 9:1-11)

"This army is also in the New Testament. It's referred to as the MANCHILD. I know some of you are going to disagree with this. Don't you even stop to disagree. Revelation 12:25...if you disagree, just file it in miscellaneous and check it out. And don't bother with it. When we get to heaven we'll check it out and you'll find out I'm right....."  (Paul Cain, Joel's Army, Kansas City Fellowship Southside Meeting).

The only problem with not bothering to check out Paul Cain's insane rantings is that when we get to heaven it will be too late. Christians are warned to test the spirits here and now (1 John 4:1) The male child in Revelation 12:25 is of course Jesus Christ!

The Docklands fiasco has left a terrible legacy and we are now witnessing an unprecidented progression of occult practices and manifestations in many churches, such as impartation, grave sucking, the glory cloud, birthing, the inner room experience, spiritual levels, the overcomers, Joshua generation, Joel's Army, Saul and David, Ishmael and Isaac, the Jezebel spirit, school of the prophets, tabernacle of David, city church and much more. These occult deceptions are taking over entire regions, both here in the UK and worldwide.

John Wimber's Apostate Legacy - The Apostolic Reformation (NAR)

These days New Wine is associated with a much wider apostate movement known as the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) also known as Dominionism, Third Wave, Latter Rain, Kingdom Now, Joel’s Army, Manifest Sons of God, Charismatic Renewal etc.

The NAR leaders claim falsely that God is restoring the offices of Prophet and Apostle as a model for church governance in the end times. Wimber held the delusional belief that he was a latter-day apostle to all the churches. In fact many of todays so called "prophets and apostles" hold celebrity status; they are completely delusional and are answerable to no one! Wimber's disciple C Peter Wagner claims apostolic authority for himself as the "Presiding Apostle" over an organisation called International Coalition of Apostles (ICA). He claims that he was "commissioned by God" as the "apostle" of the "second apostolic age." According to the false gospel of Wagner, “The second apostolic age began in the year 2001 when the lost offices of prophet and apostle were restored." Sounds very grand doesn't it! Others who claim the title of "apostle" for themselves are Rick Joyner, Mike Bickle (now leader of the spiritually corrupt International House of Prayer {IHOP}). Cindy Jacobs (Generals International), Bill Johnson (Bethel Church Redding), Che Ahn (HRock Church Pasadena) etc. ALL these apostates are proven false prophets, they do not qualify in any way to lead the true church; their prophecies are false, their teaching is aberant and in many cases their lifestyles are unbiblical, Paul Cain being the most blatant example. These modern day "apostles and prophets" claim a unique position of authority, even putting themselves above the original apostles of Jesus Christ. They say that God is giving them new revelations apart from the Bible while proclaiming that experience takes precedence over the teaching of Jesus Christ and the apostles.Their stated aim is for the church to literally take over society prior to the return of Christ in a similar manner to that of the Popes during the Dark Ages. This global church is to be led by an exclusive group of apostles and prophets, i.e. themselves! In fact the Bible teaches the polar opposite. Revelation 19:11-21 makes it clear that JESUS CHRIST (NOT THE CHURCH) will achieve dominion on the earth (Revelation 22:19).

The false prophets associated with New Wine and the NAR claim that prophecy is "conditional" in the New Testament i.e. there is provision for a margin of error in prophecy - this is their get out clause when their prophecies fail!!! However, the Bible does not make a distinction between Old and New Testament prophets or prophecy. The Bible calls false prophets presumptuous: But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die. (Deuteronomy 18:20, see also Deuteronomy 13:1-5; 17:12; 18:21-22; 1 Kings 18:40; Jeremiah 14:14; 23:30; 26:11; Zechariah 13:3). Jesus Christ warned that in the end times many false prophets will arise and lead many astray (Matthew 24:11). In fact the New Testament warns us repeatedly to be on our guard against spiritual deception: Matthew 7:15; 24:5; 24:24; 1 John 4:1; 2 Peter 2:1.

Additionally, the NAR promotes strategic-level spiritual warfare in contradiction to Daniel 10 and Jude 9 which assigns spiritual warfare against territorial spirits to Michael and the angels not to human beings.

These pretenders continue to infiltrate and deceive large portions of the church worldwide.

Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing! (Ezekiel 13:13)

Let these false prophets tell their dreams, but let my true messengers faithfully proclaim my every word. There is a difference between straw and grain! (Jeremiah 23:28; 1 Corinthians 3:12)

Holy Trinity Church Leicester

Why would anyone with even the smallest amount of spiritual discernment be involved with New Wine when its roots and practices are so obviously bad (Matthew 7:17-18)? Nevertheless, the hirelings at Holy Trinity Church Leicester are backing New Wine to the hilt!

John McGinley, vicar of Holy Trinity Leicester is the Regional Director for the Midlands and East branch of New Wine. Inevitably therefore Holy Trinity Church is heavily involved with New Wine. In fact Holy Trinity are promoting New Wine Discipleship Year 2014-15 which is aimed at 18-24 year olds. "Discipleship Year is to equip, encourage and empower you with solid foundations for life as a follower of Jesus." http://www.holytrinityleicester.org/newwine.html I would point out that John McGinley's definition of "solid foundations" is not biblical! Holy Trinity are involved with a whole plethora of false teachings, including Sozo (Bill Johnson), Monasticism and 3DM (Mike Breen), Breathe (eastern mysticism), Ecumenism, Mission Shaped Communities (Mark Stibbe) and who knows what other doctrines of demons. In fact John McGinley seems determined to promote anything and everything apart from the teaching of Jesus Christ and his apostles (Acts 2:42)!

Leicester City Vineyard Church:

John Wimber's false teachings continue to deceive many people through the Vineyard Movement, a network of charismatic churches founded by Wimber in 1982. John Wimber is virtually idolised on the website of Leicester City Vineyard Church:

"It became clear that the church’s emphasis on the experience of the Holy Spirit was not shared by some leaders in the Calvary Chapel movement. In 1982, John’s church left Calvary Chapel and joined a small group of Vineyard churches. Vineyard was a name chosen by Kenn Gulliksen, a prolific church planter affiliated with Calvary Chapel, for a church he planted in Los Angeles in 1974. Pastors and leaders from the handful of Vineyard churches began looking to John for direction. And the Vineyard movement was born."
http://www.leicestercityvineyard.org.uk/about/

Wimber's split with Calvary Chapel involved an acrimonious dispute which focused on the authority of Scripture as it relates to the display of signs and wonders in the church. Wimber was actually forced to leave!

Vineyard's friendly coffee and doughnuts approach masks Wimber's dangerous unbiblical teachings.

It should be noted that both Holy Trinity Church and Leicester City Vineyard Church are following an ecumenical agenda which fits in with Wimber's false beliefs i.e. a de-emphasization of doctrine for the sake of bringing all Christian denominations together under one tent. Both John McGinley of Holy Trinity and Steve Barber, the leader of Leicester City Vineyard Church attended ecumenical Churches Together Breakfast on 10th of May last year, said to be "inspired" by David Hind, the leader of Trinity Life Church. Beware of ecumenism!

More Background About John Wimber
One man, with little or no Biblical discernment, was almost single handedly responsible for the spread of one of the most dangerous movements in the church today... The Latter Rain. This small movement that began in Canada, eventually became the cornerstone for various offshoots, the most prominent of which are (or were) Joel’s Army, First-Fruits, Identity, Manifest Sons of God, Restoration, Reconstruction, Kingdom Message, Elijah Company, Overcomers, etc.

John Wimber (1934-1997) built what is known as "power evangelism" on the teachings of theologian George Eldon Ladd which led him to the opinion that miracles such as healings, words of knowledge and speaking in tongues play an essential role in bringing people to faith in Christ. Wimber: "I felt that God wanted me to concentrate on the relationship of supernatural signs and wonders to church growth during the decade." I personally do believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and I am not writing this post from a cessationist point of view. I believe the problem with Wimber's theology is that it over emphasises the miraculous at the expense of the Gospel. In other words, Wimber subverted the biblical teaching that faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17) and replaced it with the diametric opposite, pragmatism - if it works I will accept it and believe it. The great commission is very simple: Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation (Mark 16:15). Paul tells us that the gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). Wimber ventured into excessive experientialism and a dangerous mixture of truth and error which he later distanced himself from. The Bible tells us that an evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign (Matthew 12:39; 16:4; Luke 11:29). Wimber's mantra: "God is bigger than his written Word."  This arrogant statement is an outright denial of the sufficiency of the scriptures which are divinely inspired and give us EVERYTHING needed to live the Christian life. Christians are specifically warned not to go beyond what is written (1 Corinthians 4:6):

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (1 Timothy 3:16-17)

Forever, O LORD, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens. (Psalm 119:89)

Jesus Christ IS the WORD!!!!

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)
