REVELATION TV

Jesus Christ warned that in the end times certain things will happen prior to his returning to the earth.

Matthew 24:

There will be deceivers who will attempt to lead people astray.
There will be wars and rumours of wars.
There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
True believers will be handed over to be tortured and put to death - 'you will be hated by all nations because of my name' - it is after this chronologically that 'many will fall away' or 'stumble' - they will betray one another and hate one another.
Many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.
There will be an increase in lawlessness and the love of many will grow cold.
The kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world.

Note that among the above signs, deception is spoken of the most and the phrase 'lead many astray' is repeated by Jesus three times: verses 4, 5 and 11. This then is very significant I believe for our times.

There are of course many false teachers and prophets in our time, but of significant interest to me at the present time is false teacher Jesse Duplantis who has caused something of a furore amongst the Christians who watch and support Revelation TV. Howard Conder has decided to air this teacher despite protests from viewers and also at least two significant teachers who appear on Revelation TV, Jacob Prasch of Moriel Ministries and Bob Mitchell of Shofar Ministries. These two faithful teachers have withdrawn from appearing on Revelation TV because of this problem with Jesse Duplantis and I must say that I support their decision wholeheartedly.

What then is the problem with the teaching of Jesse Duplantis? Watch him for yourself on YouTube on The Nature of Adam i.e. God did not know what the animals were when he created them - and that's just for starters.

Well done Jacob Prasch and Bob Mitchell for disassociating from Revelation TV.

  5. Jesse Duplantis was just was kidding around when he said God didn't know what they were, he just meant that Adam was created before the animals and he was asked to name them, which had to be a tremendous job, which was given to him by the Holy Spirit. God gives us some things to accomplish and gives us the authority to do them by His Holy Spirit. It seems you are targeting everyone who speaks in tongues, which is a gift that God has given. We are not perfect and make mistakes but it does not negate God's gifts that He gave for us to use to confirm to others what He has already spoken to them. We can only live His ways by His Holy Spirit - if we say we have not sinned, we are lying, but we can live, not as sinners, but believers who used to be sinners (continually sinning) but not completely sinless, (only He could do that) but striving to be. I understand that you want to not live in error, but we can't do that except by the Holy Spirit and study. I have been hurt and confused by some teaching, but I continue to make sure I seek God, as my husband and I are evangelists and we don't want to be judged either but are doing our best to keep to His ways. Being in ministry, everyone sees your mistakes and usually dwell on those instead of what good you have done. If we are wrong, we confess and repent to God and just because someone might see a fault or sin
doesn't mean our whole ministry is no good. It's just that we are on display, as are all ministers. God bless

  6. Jesse Duplantis is irreverent and also a false teacher. I appeal to you to test his ministry from an unbiased biblical perspective. (1 John 4:1).
BTW I am not a cessationist.
    God bless.
