revelation tv - dr richard kent: how to get out of debt the "christian" way! not!!!

How Dr Richard Kent got "provision from the Lord" the "Christian" way by setting up a charity.
http://www.revelationtv.com/programmes/episode/to-the-point496496
About 22:30 minutes in.

How very sad that the apostate church has come to this (Philippians 3:19). To his shame, Dr Richard Kent has repeated his "testimony" about how he found himself in debt to the tune of £260,000 after his illness at 50 years old in 1997. He claims that in today's money this sum is about £50M which is roughly correct using a historical inflation calculator. He was forced to retire as a GP due to ill heath and was facing the repossession of his house because his small pension had reduced his income by 80%. "The Lord" told Kent to set up a charity and to travel all over the world and voilĂ  -- nine months later the debt was completely cleared and the Kents' income started going up again due to some large cheques: "All because we set up a charity and started putting God first. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness."

One might reasonably ask Dr Kent how he managed to get himself into so much debt in the first place! It appears that his home had been in his family for two generations, so one would have thought it would be mortgage free. It seems he was quite well enough to travel the world, but he tells RTV viewers that he was not well enough to continue working! I understand that an NHS pension would be very good for a GP retiring at fifty years old due to ill health. As usual the RTV "stories" simply do not add up!  I wonder if the contributors to Kent's charity would have given if they had realised that it was actually set up to get him out of debt! The scandal of charity CEO's greed is well reported, but apparently the questionable ethics of the world are easily transferable to the apostate church who twist the scriptures to suit their own agendas!

The fallacy that material wealth equals the blessing of God is widespread amongst the apostates who should perhaps read about the self delusion of Laodicea. The words wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked come to mind (Revelation 3:17-18)! What a shame that the persecuted church across the world does not receive such "provision" from the Lord!!!

Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift at sea; on frequent journeys, in danger from rivers, danger from robbers, danger from my own people, danger from Gentiles, danger in the city, danger in the wilderness, danger at sea, danger from false brothers; in toil and hardship, through many a sleepless night, in hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and exposure. And, apart from other things, there is the daily pressure on me of my anxiety for all the churches. Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to fall, and I am not indignant? (2 Corinthians 11:25-29)

Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues with injustice (without right).
(Proverbs 16:8)

The name of the Kents' charity is The Final Frontier Charitable Trust, UK Charity No 1106663.{1}

  1. Hmmmm. There is ...666. in the charity number!

"1106663 - THE FINAL FRONTIER CHARITABLE TRUST."
If you have a look at his name in the list of trustees it says "There are no other charities to display for DR RICHARD V KENT"

But we all know about his involvement with another infamous (sorry, I mean famous, LOL!) charity:
    "1100573 - REVELATION FOUNDATION."
If you have a look at his name in the list of trustees it says "There are no other charities to display for DR RICHARD KENT"

  2. Can you imagine when he hears the words' Depart from me, I never knew you.' ??

  3. I think a little more work needs to be done on this Anonymous. God bless

  4. It would seem that Hugh Jackman is leaving Rev TV. I suspect he wants to
get out before the CC report is published, so avoiding the inevitable flak.
He is claiming it's because the Lord is moving him in that direction. I'm
afraid I just see a very good liar. His interview is available on Twitter.

  5. Not wishing to defend Dr Kent, but I believe when he retired in 1997 was before MD's got on to the really big money? Nevertheless they were never ever paid peanuts and the fact that he is a professing (and educated) Christian who inherited his property does make the story very bizarre, talk about stewardship! Is that figure above really £50 MILLION?
When these sort of characters get to manage their own charities, they really think the donations belong to them-we don't get a salary-only expenses!!!
I never took to Kent-his personality (and his 'free' teachings warped by Dispensationalism and much else-thank God!), but at least he is entitled to call himself Dr, unlike 'Dr' Jackman, albeit not a Doctor of Divinity! Strange world?
This "Lord told me so" bunch really get me at it-this is what believing in on-going revelation does; they can twist any and everything.

  6. Hi Colin - The actual figure is 440,429.86 http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/bills/article-1633409/Historic-inflation-calculator-value-money-changed-1900. - not too far short of half a million. Within just nine months Dr Kent had cleared his huge debts and his income had gone up!!! This puts him at the very top end of CEO's salary - the "charity" was registered in 2005. We talk about the scandal of CEO's being greedy on six figure salaries NOW!!! Kent does a lot of talk about near death experiences.

"Doctor" Hugh Jackman is not a Doctor of anything apart from the honorary one bestowed upon him by his friends..at Excel University in November 2014. http://bewareofthewolves.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/howard-conder-revelation-tv-apology-for.html

Apparently Jackman's imagined "assignment" has changed and leads him elsewhere...

  7. Maybe Kent got rooked by Gordon Pettie when he was working as a financial adviser!

  9. Richard Kent on Revelation TV With Ian McCormack Trailer.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjW5ZWZLoG4

    BEWARE OF IAN MCCORMACK

McCormack claims to have open access to the third heaven - the Shekinah i.e. the dwelling or setting of the divine presence of God.

McCormack endorses John and Carol Arnott, the false pastors of Catch The Fire Toronto (formerly Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship). The Arnotts along with Kenneth Copeland and James Robison are amongst the traitors of Jesus Christ who met Pope Francis last year. Bill Johnson is another false teacher/prophet who gets Ian McCormacks endorsement along with Heidi Baker, John Wimber and convicted fraudster David Yonggi Cho.

  10. It seems everything connected to Revelation TV is dubious at best, corrupt at worst, and now they have jumped into bed with Andrew Wommack, who will undoubtedly be lining the pockets of Conder et al for the airtime, so they can continue to live the high life in sunny Spain.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Yes Will - they glory in their shame. (Philippians 3:19) It appears that money is their "god"... quite disgusting. God bless you.

  12. Treena,

Sorry to post off topic but the real wolf in sheep's clothing of the moment is your old friend Neville Stephens.

Some of the stuff he's posting at the moment just isn't right, and you and Rob Thomas haven't been spared either. He's no more a watcher on the walls than our dog.

    Bless you,

    James Pollard

  13. I think it's best just to ignore Mr Stephens, he has become increasingly aggressive, provocative and bizarre. His astonishing volte face in respect of Conder at Revelation TV just reinforces the view that nothing he has to say is worth listening to.

    ReplyDelete
  14. None of us are incapable of making the odd stupid/inappropriate comment/statement, but Neville has completely lost the plot (if he ever had it in the first place?), just a cursory look on his blog will confirm this fact to any God fearing person.

By unrestrained wickedness (Jude 4/2 Peter 2.1) men deny Christ and His Father; "They profess that they know God; but IN WORKS they deny him." Titus 1.16. Paul is here talking about professing believers!

The best thing Neville can do (for his own well being) is close his blog down.

  15. This is the most recent retort from "Nev" to another apparent odball who goes by the name of Ichabod.

I just LOVE "annoying you immensely" Oh Smelly Sickabod!!

But as I keep warning you, STOP SENDING ME YOUR GARBAGE or you must expect much of the same!!!!

You are a false worker of Satan.

There will be no end. No let and no mercy"!!!!!!!!!

    YOUR BIG MATE NEV!!

It's breathtaking, childlike nonsense, and Colin, I agree, he should close down his blog.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I completely agree with both of you.

    James Pollard

    ReplyDelete
  17. Nev has quite a few links to his site-Alan Franklin, Arno Frutchenbaum and some others. I can't believe that they would want a link to such God dishonouring mockery?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Whatever one may think of Andrew Kelly, leave that aside for a moment, would any disagree with his diagnosis, charging Nev with being insane, as he did today?

    ReplyDelete
  19. He should definitely close it down. I've never commented on his blog, only here, and yet I'm now quoted on there??? The guy is completely false and deluded.

Sorry to have to go off topic Treena, but now flabbergasted by this.

    James Pollard

Sorry James I somehow lost your comment when in Norfolk... I have re-written it here word perfect I think? God bless Treena

    ReplyDelete
  20. I have just had a look at Nev's comments after returning home from Norfolk today. He accuses me of posting several comments on his blog within a few days, whereas actually I posted ONE comment which he has repeated three or four times. I would agree that there is definitely something very very wrong here. I have prayed on an off about Nev's antics for some time. I believe my first inclination was correct, i.e. to completely ignore him rather than rise to the bait by reacting to his endless provocations which is exactly what he wants.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Nev's blogs (does he need so many? Surely only ONE would do-less confusion?) remind me most heavily of Monty Pythons Fling Circus! All the caricatures and associated comments that accompany them would have done the old Python team proud!
This brings me to thinking that Nev may well have the spirit of python?
He certainly has become a very dark character lately.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Thank you Treena spot on. Why anyone would want to fabricate a comment and claim it was from me leaves me speechless.

I think the poor guy is doing more harm than good.

    James Pollard

    ReplyDelete
  23. I agree in some part that things have taken an odd turn with Andrew Kelly but let's not forget
Nevs excellent articles over the last few years regarding Richard Taylor and Victory Church.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I think Dr Kent might be well pleased that Nev has hijacked this posting!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Anonymous excellent articles maybe 2 years ago but the guy is so deluded now that not only is he attacking Rob & Treena he is boasting he single handedly finished the Welsh outpouring, exposed Taylor and forced him to move to America!

Anyone know how to get comments you never made removed off his site?

    James Pollard

    ReplyDelete
  26. Well, what exactly does Nev want? Did he expect you and Rob to support him by immersing your respective blogs in constant vile gutter language and continuing everlastingly in a slagging off match?
Apart from Christendom in general, you and Rob have friends and family, what ever would they have thought of your Christian 'witness'?

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think you and Rob have been very dignified in all of this, and have kept a wise counsel with regard to the aftermath of the Taylor affair and the Welsh outpouring. Sort of let spiritual sleeping dogs lie so to speak.

No vindictiveness, no I told you so and you definitely haven't made it an obsession. A that was then this is now attitude.

On the other hand, over at Ziontalywain.......

  28. Nev has lifted my comment and posted it on his blog! The man is very blinkered, doesn't he realise that AK,RT,AP,VC,VOUK etc have a less than minuscule impact on S.Wales? There is much bigger fish to fry out there-Islam, Buddhism, Shintism, JW's, C of LDS, Humanism, Atheism, Roman Catholicism? The list is endless!
Apparently there was a revival in Wales over 100 years ago, the place has had MUCH Christian witness before this day, Paul said in Romans 15.20 that he would NOT preach the gospel where Christ was already named! Should we take note of his words? The Welsh, just like the rest of UK is a post Christian country-sadly. Furthermore we know well "perilous times" were foretold and that people in these days have "itching ears" to listen to false teachers, as Nev does himself! Rev 22.11-let the evil doer still do evil.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I would agree that the whole of the UK is now neo-pagan post Christian Anonymous. It is so very sad that people have turned to "doctrines of demons" rather than putting their hope in the living God (1 Timothy 4:10). RTV, much like the other so-called "Christian" TV stations has absolutely nothing to offer true believers. Money is their "god" as Dr Richard Kent has quite aptly demonstrated! God bless

    ReplyDelete
  30. Neville Stephens has left a comment here today, but I have not published it because yet again it is very abusive. I do not want to get involved in a slanging match and turn this into the same circus that Nev's blog has become. Can we now drop the subject of Nev please? I really think that any more responses would feed the fleshly/demonic? activity behind his facade of "righteousness". One thing that I do want to clarify is that I have never called myself a "watcher on the wall" as Nev keeps repeating. The Lord has never told me to use any kind of label. God bless all.

    ReplyDelete
  31. "Neo-pagan post Christian" would have saved me a sentence!
As for Kent, sorry, RTV, is this Charity commission investigation still going on?

    ReplyDelete
  32. I believe that the investigation has been completed, though the CC have not yet released their findings... God bless Anonymous

    ReplyDelete
  33. I remember when God TV was starting and how all the Pastors and elders at church were telling us what a fantastic thing Christian TV was going to be. They were endorsing satellite boxes that weren't Sky for us to buy to watch it. A sort of God box. How this was all going to radically improve our spiritual life.

In reality, only people's lives it improved was the Copelands, Du Plantis and the likes of Benny Hinn. Now we're spoilt for choice with several channels to view our favourite apostates, oh and lets not forget the catholic channel as well. Seems like Dr Kent has had some milage out of things as well.

How much must the Lord weep over all of this?

  34. Hi,

Revelation TV viewers heard on Friday 3rd June that the interim manager has not submitted his report to the Charity Commission yet:
(By my reckoning, this report is now AT LEAST 6 months late!)

    http://www.revelationtv.com/programmes/episode/r-mornings913418
    Please listen from 31:45.

There is a Revelation TV viewer called Barry Sutton who wants to get his MP to intervene in the Charity Commission investigation. Unfortunately, Barry thinks that RTV is innocent. If only he knew...

I am still working in the background to bring these people to justice even if I end up having to go to a different jurisdiction!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Re: Anonymous (7/6/16): The great majority of Revelation TV viewers believe that "RTV is innocent". This is sad, but nevertheless true. I know, as I used to be one of their deceived viewers! (May the Lord be pleased to reveal the truth to Barry Sutton?). RTV is an ecumenical organisation, in order for any 'Christian' broadcaster to be successful, it HAS by definition to have an ecumenical spirit, otherwise it couldn't work-remember Antichrist comes first! Ecumenism is the height of wickedness, many simply cannot understand this truth; but ecumenism leads to the broad way, NOT the narrow way of the cross.
James Pollard's last comment is very pertinent.
    God bless you.
