beware of charismania: the leicester outpouring in october with peter gammons!

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognise them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.Thus you will recognise them by their fruits..... (Matthew 7:15-20)

Peter Gammons is the Host/Organiser of Midlands Outpouring Leicester Weekend which is being held at  the University of Leicester, Stamford Court, Manor Road, Oadby, Leicester on the 7th and 8th of October.

Gammons is the founder of Peter Gammons Ministries International (PGMI). Apparently the event in Leicester is being supported by local churches which is very concerning.

Gammons makes great boasts of miracles, healings and supernatural experiences etc. Huge numbers attend his meetings internationally where thousands are supposedly healed. He is also a prolific writer; his twelve book series "Power in Your Pocket" which cost £30 or $40 includes: 200 Secrets of Financial Blessing and Twenty Keys To Your Financial Breakthrough.{1} Gammons theology is all about what we can get from God, aka the prosperity gospel, the health and wealth gospel, or the gospel of success. In other words Gammons "gospel" flies in the face of the true teachings of Jesus Christ (Matthew 10:38; 2 Corinthians 2:17, 4:2). Clearly Gammons "ministry" is very lucrative, for him at least!

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ (Matthew 7:21-23)

I put Gammons on a similar level to Benny Hinn who also visited Leicester in 2014 with the "blessing" of Trinity Life Church (AOG). Hinn cannot prove any of his miracles, and I believe his ministry to be a huge scam.{2} Whether Gammon's miracles are fake I am not entirely sure, but even if they are "real", they are satanic, because he does not teach the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Signs and wonders are definitely not proof of genuine Christianity.. in fact false signs and wonders will play a major role in the satanic deception coming upon the earth during the final few years of history:

The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)

In 2003 Archbishop Paulk and Bishop Kirby Clemments ordained Gammons as Bishop of the International Communion of Charismatic Churches (ICCC), an organisation representing over 6000 ministries and over 10 million of members worldwide, including many of the world’s largest Mega-churches, with some congregations alone having in excess of 50,000 members.{3}

The ICCC is partners with the Roman Catholic Church. This is all part of the Counter-Reformation which is rapidly taking shape before our eyes. Partnership with the Roman Catholic Church is to accept another gospel (Galatians 1:6). For instance, the declarations of the Council of Trent (1545-1563) which are still in force, formally condemn the biblical doctrine of faith alone and grace alone:

“If anyone says that justifying faith is nothing else than confidence in divine mercy, which remits sins for Christ's sake, or that it is this confidence alone that justifies us, LET HIM BE ANATHEMA” (Sixth Session, Canons Concerning Justification, Canon 12).

“If anyone says that the justice received is not preserved and also not increased before God through good works, but that those works are merely the fruits and signs of justification obtained, but not the cause of its increase, LET HIM BE ANATHEMA” (Sixth Session, Canons Concerning Justification, Canon 24).

The Roman Catholic Church teaches baptismal regeneration and sacramentalism i.e. justifying grace is "infused" upon baptism and is maintained via the sacraments:

Catechism 1212 "The sacraments of Christian initiation - Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist - lay the foundations of every Christian life. "The sharing in the divine nature given to men through the grace of Christ bears a certain likeness to the origin, development, and nourishing of natural life. The faithful are born anew by Baptism, strengthened by the sacrament of Confirmation, and receive in the Eucharist the food of eternal life. By means of these sacraments of Christian initiation, they thus receive in increasing measure the treasures of the divine life and advance toward the perfection of charity." {4}

The Pentecostal and charismatic churches are now well on their way to Rome, as we have observed with the treachery of Kenneth Copeland, James Robison, John Arnott and other false teachers. In direct contradiction to the Bible, Pope Francis, states that all, regardless of their religious profession, are children of God.

.....for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptised into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.  (Galatians 3:26-28)

–  'Many think differently, feel differently, seeking God or meeting God in different ways. In this crowd, in this range of religions, there is only one certainty that we have for all: we are all children of God,' Pope Francis said in his message, released Jan. 6, the feast of the Epiphany." {5}

“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”And when Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, for he was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes. (Matthew 7:24-29)

Anyone who becomes involved in the ecumenical movement is putting themselves at great risk of spiritual deception.

Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues....." (Revelation 18:4)

  3. Hi Again Treena,

    Here is a "comment" from an acquaintance of mine who posts regularly on my blog. His name is Jonathan Thomas.

    He has posted this under your article on my blog, and I think it is quite appropriate for your piece? I send it to you for you to either post or ignore - I will leave that up to you.

    Blessings,
    Nev.

    It reads:

    "Nev,

    Will you please stop spoiling peoples encounter with god.
    They have set up the mood lighting.
    They have spent so much time selecting the best hypnotic song lyrics.
    The band, ooops sorry worship leaders are on fire.
    And your host is ready, he worked out which buttons to press.
    Nothing too deep, best to keep superficial and emotional.
    All we need is some gullible saps!
    All we need is a large crowd, oops sorry congregation which will provide a sense of expectation. A wow I feel such a presence of god here tonight guys….
    Get a enough people and bingo we can call it revival, which will bring more saps.
    People will travel for miles and miles… Don’t forget if a ‘church’ is alive it’s worth the drive folks.

    However, some charismatic’s are 100% committed to God.
    These are part of his true church within this movement, a movement which has brought very little or nothing in the way of theology to the Christian Faith, nothing solid.

    Yes, I am a bit of a hypocrite because I lean towards cessationism on certain things, and I attend an Elim Church. I know, I know how does that work then? – very well thanks for asking.

    We all, both Cessationist’s and Charismatic’s seek and long the presence of God, and would love God to move in revival across our land again.

    BUT ARE WE NOT BOTH FED UP WITH THE CONMEN IN OUR CHURCH..

    Stop criticising they say…
    Sorry NO WE CAN’T..
    Why?

    BECAUSE WE ARE ALL CHURCH MILITANT.
    We are engaged in holy warfare.
    We are duty bound to carry on an incessant warfare against the hostile world in every form. Outside the Church and Inside the Church, against all the spiritual forces of darkness.

    God Bless

    Jonathan".

  4. I should sue you for the lies and libel you have printed. I would not consider such action against a fellow believer but assume from the fact you freely publish things that are untrue that you are not a real Christian. Willing to discuss this before taking further action. Dr Peter Gammons (ps comments as anonymous as your web site does not appear to work when I typed name and url)

  5. As a true believer in Jesus Christ, I would never sue a fellow believer Peter Gammons. (1 Corinthians 6:1-7). As long as you do not attempt to shut me up illegally as TLC tried to do in 2014, then by all means do as you please. In any even, it would be rather counterproductive to sue someone who has nothing in worldly terms. If you are ecumenical as it appears, then you are putting yourself and your followers at great risk. The bible teaches faith alone, through Christ alone by grace alone... unlike the RC Church that add to God's word. I know that financial blessing (the prosperity gospel) is unbiblical. You need to repent. If I can help you in any way in this area then please contact me on Messenger. It is some time since this post was published - I wonder why you have waited so long? What precisely is untrue?

  6. Geoffrey Grider will try to tell you that you are lax or lazy on studying scripture if you state that you believe in a pre trib rapture.
    He question why you don’t ask him questions.

    When you ask a man questions about scripture you get a man’s interpretation of scripture. The only one you should ask for knowledge and understanding is God
