GEORGE O WOOD: ASSEMBLIES OF GOD ECUMENICAL CORRUPTION NOW REACHING CRITICALITY!!!

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ (Matthew 7:21-23)

Dr. George O Wood, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God (AG) Pentecostal denomination is said to be as important to the AOG as the Pope is to Roman Catholicism. The Assemblies of God was formed out of the Pentecostal revival of the early 20th century, and was characterised by supposed manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Many people may have come to genuine saving faith through the Assemblies of God churches since its formation. However, there have been major problems associated with a number of AG "ministries" and their dubious practices. The AG have spawned many false prophets and questionable TV evangelists, including Benny Hinn, Morris Cerullo, Jim Bakker, Paul Crouch and Jimmy Swaggart to name but a few. Derek Prince who played a major role in the disastrous Shepherding Movement and taught the false doctrine that Christians are subject to generational curses was AG.{1} The infamous Hillsong is affiliated with Australian Christian Churches (AG in Australia). The counterfeit Toronto Blessing (Laughing Revival) at Toronto Airport Vineyard was a direct result of John Arnott's visit to Argentina in November 1993 where Claudio Freidzon, an Assemblies of God evangelist, prayed the "anointing" over him. The Toronto movement was also heavily infuenced by Benny Hinn. The counterfeit Brownsville Revival was the long running "outpouring" at Brownsville Assemblies of God in Pensacola, Florida. Both these so called "revivals" were blighted by a wide range of unscriptural practices. The progressive corruption of the AG plainly indicates that true revival will not come from that quarter.

The AG has grown to over 67 million members worldwide and is the largest Pentecostal Fellowship in the world.{2} That is 67 million souls who are at direct risk of spiritual deception through the ecumenical spirit of Antichrist! George O Wood showed his true ecumenical colours in July of last year when he attended Together 2016, an event endorsed by the Pope in Washington DCThis event was specifically engineered to unite Roman Catholics and various so called "Christian" denominations. Together 2016 formed part of the false unity amongst ecumenicals "Great Awakening", a phrase stolen from the series of revivals among Protestants in the American colonies during the 1700's. The ecumenical counterfeit "awakening" puts darkness for light and evil for good. (Isaiah 5:20). Speakers and performers included Francis Chan, Ravi Zacharias, Lou Engle, Christine Caine, Southern Baptist Convention President Ronnie Floyd, Michael W. Smith, Hillsong United, Lecrae, Jeremy Camp, Lauren Daigle, Casting Crowns and Kirk Franklin, amongst others.{3} Wood's promotion of contemplative New Age guru Ruth Haley Barton raised a red flag in 2013.{4}

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is the largest Lutheran denomination in the US. The Reformation was of course a single and divisive historical event based on scriptural principles. The ELCA have been progressively hurtling towards spiritual disaster for a number of years. The Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification was agreed and hailed as a “breakthrough” between the Roman Catholics and the Lutheran Church in 1999. The process of betraying the gospel of Jesus Christ and undoing everything that Luther and the Reformers achieved is now reaching its final stage, the Reformation having been watered down to "a 500 year shared journey".{5} The Lutheran World Federation and The Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity have released a joint document titled “From Conflict to Communion" in order to facilitate the Lutheran-Catholic Common Commemoration of the Reformation.{6}

"NEW ORLEANS (Aug.10, 2016) – The 2016 Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) Churchwide Assembly took several significant steps Wednesday moving forward the mission of this church as a church for the sake of the world."   (emphasis mine-John 18:36!!!)
"By a vote of 931 to 9, the assembly overwhelmingly accepted the "Declaration on the Way," a unique ecumenical document that marks a path toward greater unity between Catholics and Lutherans. Following the vote, an emotional assembly stood to applaud the momentous decision. At the heart of the document are 32 "Statements of Agreement" that state where Lutherans and Catholics do not have church-dividing differences on topics about church, ministry and the Eucharist. More tentatively, the document also explores differences that remain."
{7}

What has been achieved by the Reformation and the blood of the martyrs is being destroyed by worthless leaders, hirelings who do not care for the flock (John 10:13). Luther would be horrified by these ecumenical developments! Wood now seems set to steer the AG onto an irreversible course towards criticality. He is scheduled to join an international gathering of Christian leaders at The Wittenberg Summit in Germany in October/November this year, Luther 2017, the event that celebrates the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther nailing his 95 Theses to the door of All Saints Church.{8} Wood will be sharing a platform with co-host Leonard Sweet. Sweet is a significant player in the emerging church/New Spirituality movement and is a New Age sympathiser. Social gospel promoter, Dr. Jo Anne Lyon, General Superintendent of the Wesleyan Church will also be attending the event. In 2015 Lyon was appointed by Barack Obama to serve on the President’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.{9} "She also has signed many documents with the usual suspects and their names on it – Rick Warren, Bill and Lynn Hybels, Tony Campolo, Jim Wallis, Ron Sider, and the like."{10}

The Roman Catholic Church maintains that the Council of Trent still remains authoritative, binding dogma, and thus their position remains exactly the same as it always has i.e. faith obtained through the sacraments and not the biblical principles upheld by Luther:
  • Sola Fide, by faith alone.
  • Sola Scriptura, by Scripture alone.
  • Solus Christus, through Christ alone.
  • Sola Gratia, by grace alone.
  • Soli Deo Gloria, glory to God alone.
In complete contradiction to the scriptures, the Roman Catholic Church violates and comes between true faith and Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man. (1 Timothy 2:5).

The Council of Trent Is The Roman Catholic Catechism
The General Council of Trent (1545 -1563) is said to be the embodiment of the Counter Reformation: The Council of Trent made pronouncements on justification, the seven sacraments, the Catholic Eucharist, the nature of the Latin Mass, Transubstantiation, the sacraments of Catholic Penance, Extreme Unction, Marriage and Holy Orders, and numerous other topics of doctrine and discipline.

Canon IX: If anyone says that the ungodly is justified by faith alone in such a way that he understands that nothing else is required which cooperates toward obtaining the grace of justification . . . let him be condemned.
Canon XII: If anyone says that justifying faith is nothing else than trust in divine mercy, which remits sin for Christ’s sake, or that it is this trust alone by which we are justified, let him be condemned.
Canon XIV: If anyone says that a man is absolved and justified because . . . he confidently believes that he is absolved and justified . . . and that through this faith alone absolution and justification is effected, let him be condemned.

George O Wood "Shares his (worthless) thoughts" in a short video made in 2012:
https://player.vimeo.com/video/64909891
*Wood trots out the lie that six different groups calling themselves "Christian" are all true representations of Christianity: ".....The Greek Orthodox, the Roman Catholics, the Assyrian, the Coptic, the Ethiopian and the Armenian, and they cannot agree amongst themselves....." Whilst it is possible that there may be some true born again believers amongst these denominations, the denominations themselves do not represent the truth as found in the scriptures. Wood therefore bases his whole argument on a false premise!
*Wood quotes an Orthodox Jew who observed: "You Christians cannot get your message across because you have so many differences. Your Jesus is the only one who has said 'Love your enemies' , but you don't follow your Jesus....."  Scripturally those who do not follow Jesus are not his disciples: Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple. (Luke 14:27).
*Wood condemns divisions in the church, but the scriptures say that there must be divisions:
.....for there must be factions among you in order that those who are genuine among you may be recognised. (1 Corinthians 11:19).
*Wood comes against free expression on the Internet, the minority who "air their views" in opposition to the course that he and other ecumenicals have determined. In other words, he seeks to diminish the credibility of those who maintain the scriptural position. Wood exalts himself above those who speak the Word of God.. there is nothing new under the sun. (Matthew 23:8-12; Ecclesiastes 1:9)
*Wood continues in his folly and trots out a scripture out of context:  By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:35). The inclusivism that Wood talks about is not found in the scriptures. The differences between true believers and the Roman Catholic Church and other false denominations are core differences and anything but minor as Wood would have us believe! To embrace the Roman Catholic Church is to deny the gospel of Jesus Christ - it is that serious:  .....what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14).
*Wood "forgets" to remind us of some critical truths about "vicious wolves":
I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. (Acts 20:29-30)
*Wood also "forgets" to point out that love and truth are inseparable. (2 John 1:1; John 8:32). Unity depends upon truth... without truth there is no real love, just wishy washy emotional doctrineless ecumenism.

We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ..... (2 Corinthians 10:5)

To summarise, George O Wood makes a very pretty sounding little speech, but it is devoid of spiritual wisdom.

By engaging in spiritual formation, Wood goes specifically against the AOG Statement of Faith:

".....salvation is received through repentance towards God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ."  {11}

"The scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)." {11}

Pope Francis assures atheists: "You don’t have to believe in God to go to heaven." {12}

The Roman Catholic Church gives authority to the scriptures, the pope, the church, and certain traditions of the church: "Both Scripture and Tradition must be accepted and honoured with equal sentiments of devotion and reverence."{13}

Although the AG pose as an authentic "Christian" denomination, it is extremely doubtful whether the birth of Pentecostalism and the Charismatic Movement resulted from a genuine move of the Holy Spirit. The Church of God in Christ, The Assemblies of God, The United Pentecostal Church (UPCI) and The Pentecostal Church of God all have their roots in the problematic Azusa Street Revival:

"There is no question, Azusa street meetings had spiritualist mediums, hypnotists, and others who were interested in the occult.  It was known that Parham who taught Seymour rejected several of the central tenets of the Christian faith." {14}

I am convinced that the AG is completely riddled with leaven. (Galatians 5:9). The very heart of the Reformation has received a blow from which it is unlikely to recover. The vital teachings of Jesus Christ have been set aside and biblical faith is crumbling before our very eyes. George O Wood is the man who will be held responsible by God for the Pentecostal betrayal. (2 Peter 2:1-3).

My local AG branch, Trinity Life Church Leicester UK, operates under the ungodly stranglehold of Hind family and their sycophants who care nothing for the scriptures. (Galatians 1:10; 1 Thessalonians 2:4). Trinity Life Church is a striking example of how not to oversee a church.{15} Already suffering from spiritual blindness due to a progression of serious departures from the scriptures, incredibly, TLC have now gone one better; they blatantly display the number of the beast 666! (John 3:20){16} You could not make this stuff up!

Jesus' warning continues to ring out against Babylon the Great, the woman dressed in purple and scarlet. (Revelation 17:4):

“Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues;
for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.
Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay her double for her deeds;
mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed.
As she glorified herself and lived in luxury so give her a like measure of torment and mourning,
since in her heart she says,‘I sit as a queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see.’
For this reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine,
and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who has judged her.”

(Revelation 18:4-8)

  1. Hi Treena,

    What is it about this Pope compared to his predecessors that attracts Pentecostals to him?

    Also, I was always led to believe the false Toronto blessing was at the Toronto Airport Vineyard rather than an AoG church.

    Bless,

    James Pollard

  2. You are right James... The Toronto "blessing" was at Toronto Airport Vineyard.. I will make the correction. Thank you for pointing out my error.
    Your other question is difficult to answer. I don't know what is going on behind the scenes and what offers are being made to Pentecostal leaders by the Vatican. I am convinced that some pressure is being brought to bear, either by way of temptation or perhaps fear is a factor. I understand that there are many closet Jesuits in the churches, so perhaps that explains it to some degree. The timing is critical due to the convergence of many world events. The one world religion is being brought into being at precisely the right time for the arrival of the Antichrist?? What do you think?
    God bless

  3. Hi,

    The Pentecostal churches I attended in my young adulthood used to teach the Pope was the anti-christ.
    Maybe it's starting to become a bit clearer as he's getting into bed, so to speak with the false WOF pastors like Copeland et al.

    Bless,

    James Pollard

  4. The Reformers identified the Pope as the Antichrist in no uncertain terms. The only thing that has changed is the capitulation of the denominations coming out of Protestantism, including, in recent times the Evangelicals/Pentecostals/Charismatics. The RC position remains unchanged. Innevitably there has to be a separation for those who believe the scriptures.

    Smalcald Articles, Article four (1537) in the Triglot translation of the Book of Concord:

    ...the Pope is the very Antichrist, who has exalted himself above, and opposed himself against Christ because he will not permit Christians to be saved without his power, which, nevertheless, is nothing, and is neither ordained nor commanded by God. This is, properly speaking to exalt himself above all that is called God as Paul says, 2 Thess. 2, 4. Even the Turks or the Tartars, great enemies of Christians as they are, do not do this, but they allow whoever wishes to believe in Christ, and take bodily tribute and obedience from Christians... Therefore, just as little as we can worship the devil himself as Lord and God, we can endure his apostle, the Pope, or Antichrist, in his rule as head or lord. For to lie and to kill, and to destroy body and soul eternally, that is wherein his papal government really consists... The Pope, however, prohibits this faith, saying that to be saved a person must obey him. This we are unwilling to do, even though on this account we must die in God's name. This all proceeds from the fact that the Pope has wished to be called the supreme head of the Christian Church by divine right. Accordingly he had to make himself equal and superior to Christ, and had to cause himself to be proclaimed the head and then the lord of the Church, and finally of the whole world, and simply God on earth, until he has dared to issue commands even to the angels in heaven...

  5. Yes, indeed many believed the Pope was the Antichrist; that in and of itself created a new problem. For if the Pope were THE Antichrist, then there would have been no hope, ever for Luther, Calvin, Knox etc, for Revelation 14.9-11 tells us that such as "worship the beast" will forever be "tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb..." And of course they DID previously worship the Pope!

    The Westminster Confession, however, correctly described the Pope as "that Antichrist, that man of sin, and son of perdition, that exalts himself IN THE CHURCH, against Christ and all that is called God." WCF 25.6. There were some pre-millennial believers back then!

    I have NEVER considered Pentecostalism to be a branch of the Reformed Calvinist Protestant Church, as it was an entirely new organisation born in Azusa Street in 1907, with its roots in the Arminian Wesleyan Holiness movement. Having said this, that is not to say that many within Pentecostalism didn't identify with much of Reformed Protestant theology. But, today it isn't just Pentecostals that have totally lost the plot, Reformed Churches have also!

    When you think of the utter garbage that daily falls from the mouth of Pope Francis, you really do wonder how the "WOF pastors like Copeland et'al", as James refers to them, can be taken in? My theory is that the WOF crowd are only friends with the Pope, just so that they can expose their books and wares to an exponentially larger marketplace! Just think of it- the Pentecostal market place is absolutely massive, yet it is totally dwarfed by the Roman Catholic Church market place! Copeland & Co, not satisfied with their Learjets, might yet have their designs on Boeing Dreamliners!!!

    God bless.

  6. Although it came into being in Azusa Street as you say Colin, I believe that Pentecostalism, or for that matter all the denominations, would not have come into being without the the Reformation. The Reformation was the catalyst, if you like, that broke the stranglehold of the RC Church - would you agree? That stranglehold is now being put back into position in readiness for the coming dark times of THE final Antichrist.
    There are many Antichrists plural (1 John 2:18). Would you agree that the Reformers appear to have identified the Papacy in general as the Antichrist?
    As for Copeland et al, I am sure they do have financial gain in their minds. I also have the thought that a motivating factor is that their power, as they perceive it, depends upon their assimilation with the RC Church. Copeland is being directed by the Spirit of Antichrist and is in the process of aligning himself with the strong delusion coming upon the world because "they refused to love the truth." (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12). Even in my naive charismatic days as a new Christian, I had a very bad reaction against Copeland.
    God bless.

  7. Of course, you are very correct in asserting that "..all denominations, would not have come into being without the Reformation." Indeed, "the Reformation was the catalyst..." but something really weird (and big!) as it were happened in 1907, completely detached from established sound doctrine. As in a similar vein, we could say around 1830ish regards the pre-trib rapture? Something happened, from small origins that would in time shake the world-wide foundations of the orthodox Faith? That is the way I see it! But I stand corrected!

    As you say; "there are many Antichrist's", and through the years the "leader of the pack" has been, without question, the Papacy. Nevertheless, THE Antichrist will be a man (2 Thess 2.3), Popery is a system, Antichrist's will be a secular power; Popery is an ecclesiastical. Antichrist will be of Greek origin; Popery is of Latin or Roman. Antichrist's will be a commercial system, Popery is a religious one. Antichrist will rule over ten kingdoms; Popery has not over five. All in the ten kingdoms will worship Antichrist, apart from those in "the Lamb's book of life".

    Popery/Roman Catholicism is from the pits of hell, and all who form liaisons of any kind with it are on VERY shaky ground, possibly even leading to their eternal damnation.

    God bless.

  8. You make a valid point about the Azusa Street Revival Colin:
    "There is no question, Azusa Street meetings had spiritualist mediums, hypnotists, and others who were interested in the occult. It was known that Parham who taught Seymour rejected several of the central tenets of the Christian faith."
    http://letusreason.org/Pent57.htm
    Four organisations were the result of the subsequent Azusa Street split, one of which was The Assemblies of God according to the above article!!!
    The scriptures speak of two beasts, the Antichrist and the False Prophet. I think that the False Prophet will more than likely be the Pope, and as you say the Antichrist will be political/commercial.
    Roman Catholicism is satanic to the core.. those attending the AG and other denominations are in very great peril through the actions their false leaders.
    God bless

  9. The Pentecostal Error.

    Can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Matthew 7.18?

    Modern Pentecostalism was born in Azusa Street. And you would think in these days when you can find ALL the information you need with a few clicks on your key-pad, that any believer would show Pentecostalism a clean pear of heels?

    Take for example Stroud Green Christian Assembly in London. On the surface they appear to be very sound, sober and orthodox. They have an excellent website, and I am sure that I would agree with many of their teachings should I want to listen to their on-line sermons.

    But wait for the sucker punch! On their "History" page, I quote verbatim:

    "...The Pentecostal Evangelist Smith Wigglesworth who had a remarkable and renowned ministry was apparently involved in the founding of the Assembly..."

    Something to be proud of???

    God bless.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I wrote a post about Smith Wigglesworth in 2014. I wrote it because the former pastor of Trinity Life Church was a big fan of his. I didn't question it at the time, but after I left that church I started researching Wigglesworth and I was horrified! The man was a monster!!! A little excerpt:
    "Many sick people were afraid to go forward for prayer at his meetings because of his violent and bullying behaviour! His methods involved hitting, slapping or punching the afflicted part of the body. Proven false prophet Lester Sumrall was responsible for circulating many of the stories of the so called feats of Wigglesworth.."
    http://bewareofthewolves.blogspot.co.uk/2014/10/trinity-life-church-leicester-great-end.html
    I know nothing about Stroud Green Christian Assembly, but they should not be proud of such roots, rather they should be ashamed and embarassed! We need to be so very careful about what we get involved in and not just fall for the glossy outer appearance. (1 Samuel 16:7).
    The AG Statement of Faith looks good on paper, but George O Wood makes it a farce since he is blatantly going against AG core doctrines!!!
    Thank you Colin.
    God bless.

  11. I have been following your blog for a little while now,it seems that you are very critical about every Christian ministry and organisation under the sun.
    I am not condemning you for this, as I believe the vast majority of 'Christian' churches, and ministries are apostate, ecumenical and money grabbing!

    Can I ask you WHO I SHOULD give some financial support to? WHO do you recommend?
    Be positive, rather than negative, for once?
    Maybe there are none-any ideas?
    Blessings.

  12. I'm sorry if you think I am too critical Anonymous. We are in a very dire situation however wouldn't you agree? These are perilous times 2 Timothy 3:1.
    I do like Joe Schimmel of Good Fight Ministries - He is post-trib and sees the timing of the rapture a little differently to me, but I do not consider this to be a major issue.
    I like Richard Bennet of The Berean Beacon who came out of the RC Church after many years as a RC priest - though I do not agree with his teaching on the Antichrist.
    I have recently been listening to Steve Quayle who has some interesting information about Antarctica and the Nephilim etc.
    I like to listen to John Haller's weekly prophecy updates.
    I sometimes like to listen to Charles Lawson who has some interesting things to say about CERN amongst other things.
    I don't know of anyone in the UK unfortunately. I used to like Jacob Prasch, but not since I debunked his intra-seal theory.
    Anyway I hope that is not too negative for you?
    God bless

  13. That would be joining the Kingdom of Darkness Leila - it is witchcraft. You need to repent and be saved.

  14. That's the most bizarre example of spam I've ever seen. Leila does need to repent and may I suggest you delete the post in case anyone uses the email or phone number. Very strange.

    As for Anonymous, you have faith, the bible and prayer. God will guide you if you want to fund ministries. Personally I think buying bibles and clear gospel tracts and getting them to the unsaved might be a better use of your resources, however, I am not the Holy Spirit and it his His guidance you need. Remember He takes from what is Christ's and give it to His children.

    Treena is a writer and researcher who specializes in defending the faith, exposing wolves who attack us etc. Naturally she is focused on these troubling subjects but this is 100% positive as we are called on to do this in scripture.

  15. Thank you Monopode.. This particular post and the one I have written about Trinity Life Church in Leicester have evoked some responses that I have chosen not to publish. I posted this particular comment from Leila in order to let her know that she needed to repent. I will remove it at a later date as I do not think it is helpful as you say. So many churches and "church leaders" completely ignore the scriptures, so being "negative" is inevitable - sadly it goes with the territory. Thank you for your encouragement. God bless

  16. A most excellent response from Monopode.

    I clicked on to this blog earlier today, and I DID see that "bizarre example of spam". I didn't click onto it, for I am constantly under attack by my own personal spam e-mails, and SKYPE, around the clock!
    However, I NEVER open or engage in conversation unless I KNOW who the communicator is.
    Tragically there are many vulnerable and lonely people out there who are very likely to fall prey to the venomous wolves out there, baying for their blood.

    As Monopode so rightly and perceptively says "buying Bibles and clear Gospel tracts, and getting them to the unsaved might be a better use of your resources".
    I was thinking earlier, "where are the true Christian charities out there, are there any, Anywhere?" Yes there are some, but sadly in these evil days, they are VERY thin on the ground.

    I can, at least, HIGHLY recommend one charity to those who visit here: THE BIBLE SPREADING UNION (registered charity No 280847) Their slogan; "To unite in giving away the Word of God". They are very open in their accounting, with an independent examiner. Chairman Mr D J Butler, Secretary Mr S A Toms 1 Donald Way Chelmsford Essex CM2 9JB Tel 01245 268815. 17. Treena, I know this is an older post, but I am saddened at the reputation the AG has in your mind. Unfortunately, just as in the 1st century church (a.k.a. foolish Galatians...how soon have you departed...) there have been many false doctrines taught and unscriptural practices demonstrated within the AG over the years, as well as all other denominations. As an AG minister, my faith has never been authored by George Wood or any other person. I hope you will meet many authentic Christians that are members of AG churches in the future, but I do not believe the issue is with denominations. I believe the issues are the same as they have been since the church began (let's say Acts 2 or close by). People are people, and many get caught up in sin, false doctrine, follow false teachers, sensuous practices, pride, envy, and the like. To live a life of holiness and commitment to God is waging a war against darkness. The best we can do is live right, preach the gospel, and never give up. Many will fall, but there will likely not be a "right" denomination or movement. However, I do believe the real members of the body of Christ will find each other as times grow darker, no matter what our affiliation is.

    As for the Pentecostal movement, many are quick to discount the Baptism of the Holy Spirit altogether simply because of excesses and abuses, as well as false doctrine and evil spiritual manifestations. Also, many are upset with God that they have not spoken in tongues since they have believed. All I can say is that we live in a world that has undeniable demonic power manifesting daily in people. Anyone who wants to have an impact in a supernatural way must have the power of the Holy Spirit. There are particular ways in the Bible God delivers people from illnesses, demonic power, bad lifestyles, etc. and they all are touched by the power of God through the working of the Holy Spirit in believers. I encourage you to still believe that God can do all things, even though you may not like the manifestation of tongues. Tongues is the tip of the iceberg. Rolling around barking like a dog is not part of the iceberg.

  18. The reputation of the AG (in my mind) is based on personal experience John. I attended the AG in Leicester prior to David Hind's appointment as pastor. I left shortly after his appointment as he clearly was not biblical in many respects. Since leaving TLC I have been horrified by their behaviour.. even to the point of flouting 666 and other demonic symbols.
    I can only assume that they are involved with the occult..

    How they explain these things to their congregation I do not know.

    I am aware that individual AG churches are autonomous, and I do not doubt that there are pockets of the AG that are sound. I know nothing of your church so I cannot comment.
    Apostasy and ecumenism are rife in all the major denominations. I do not single out the AG as you will note from my other articles.

    God bless you.

    Treena Gisborn I very much appreciate your blog and agree with it. Our church, unfortunately, is using one of his books to study in our Sunday morning bible study. I've alerted several but they just disregard my concerns.
    Of the most serious and one extra atrocities of DP I need your input.
    I am looking for documented proof of his plagiarism of Kenneth Hagen and any other documented proof so that I can hand it to our paster.

  20. I will look into it but I can't promise a result 2seagulls.. I doubt if you will get anywhere with your church whatever you can prove. Unfortunately, many churches are either blind or willfully ignorant. God bless.

  21. Having done a quick search I have found the following link 2 seagulls:
    https://wfshendun-com.ngontinh24.com/article/derek-prince-false-teacher-wolf-in-sheep-s-clothing

    "Derek Prince now went all out to inflict more human traditions wholesale onto the body of Christ (Mark 7:8) via his extra biblical teachings on “curses and blessings".His misapplication of the curses of Deuteronomy 28 onto believers is lethal. This teaching is also related to the teaching that Christians can be indwelt by the Holy Spirit and a demonic spirit simultaneously. Much of what is written in Derek Prince’s book 'Curses and Blessing' is simply a regurgitation of false teacher/prophet Kenneth Hagin’s teachings. As a result of these false teachings Derek Prince screwed up many more Christians lives with his faulty theology. His teachings remain a great threat to many believers to this day."

    To do a thorough check you would have to go through the books with a fine toothcomb I think. Certainly, their teachings were very similar. God bless.
