SPENCER SMITH'S UNGODLY RANTS ARE A DISGRACE

TikTok Is A Weapon of Mass Destruction! - YouTube

Missionary Spencer Smith (Lighthouse Baptist Church Shepherdsville Kentucky)

For me, the above video was the final straw with Spencer Smith. Smith's idea of fun is watching men beating each other to a pulp on the football pitch or in the boxing ring. If Smith really wants to beat his chest and act like Tarzan, then I suggest that he relocates to the jungle and finds another platform. Smith's ungodly rants are becoming more and more frequent and they are not suitable for a Christian audience. He does have some sound doctrine, but all too often his approach is brutish and unchristian. I hope that he doesn't have sons who do not live up to his manly standards. Men like this can make their sons lives a misery if they don't live up to their idea of "manliness".

Spencer Smith's rant: "The reason I want to watch football is that I want to see grown barbarian 300 pound men who are giants. I want to see those men kill each other in Jesus name. That's the only reason that I watch football..  they are making football so soft that you can't hit anybody any more.. The only reason I used to watch football is because men were manly and men would just kill each other. That's what I want to watch.. Football was a bunch of grown highly skilled highly athletic men tearing each other to shreds for my entertainment.. it was awesome, it was glorious, I loved it. God forgive me it this is carnal.. (yes it is carnal)  That is just being a man.. we enjoy watching that stuff..  We want to watch manliness.. we want to watch dudes killing each other..

Smith seems to think that modern football in America is a symptom of "divine feminism". Having watched part of a match, I do not think that the players look effeminate: Top 10 Games of the 2020 NFL Season - YouTube

Quora:"You have never been hit by a 300+ pound behemoth that can run the 40m at damn near Olympic level sprinting velocities.
If American football was 'so soft' the NFL wouldn't have changed rules due to a large number of men suffering CTE. Unfortunately, brain injuries are pretty common in professional football in the US."

Spencer Smith on Gog/Magog

Gog and Magog, ISRAEL ISRAEL ISRAEL, What Can We Do?!?!?! - YouTube

On this video Smith lunges into the Russian/Ukraine problem with gusto. Anyone who admits to having to look up the meaning of "capitulation" in the dictionary really should not be promoting themselves as some kind of prophecy or political expert. {2}

Smith spends endless time on his videos incessantly promoting himself, his channel, his wares, touting for subscriptions and donations, offering rewards for watching his videos, competitions and giveaways. He tells viewers to "smite thine like button". He periodically gives thumbs up and counts his viewers. This is the behaviour of a narcissist!

Smith would do better to spend his time studying the scriptures regarding the timing of the rapture instead of relying on his equally ignorant mentor "prophecy expert" Charles Hiltibidal. Smith will not be "raptured out of here" any time soon, so the jungle may be the best place for him.

The Cult of Essential Oils, Dead To Sin, Giveaways!!! - YouTube

During the first nine minutes of the above video Smith preaches on "effinatsy", he means "effeminacy", and "hulkomania".  He preaches against Winnie the Pooh as a "weirdo" and Piglet as "effeminate". I have never seen anything quite like it!

Smith's brutish behavior puts him firmly in the category of a hillbilly to use an American term. In England we would call him a clodhopper. This man has some very serious problems and his behaviour does not meet the balanced criteria required of a Christian leader.

For an overseer, as God’s steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it. (Titus 1:7-9).

..the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; (Galatians 5:22-23).

  1. He's got to be a Calvinist.

    1. He's not. He's independent fundamentalist and Armenian. Calvinists would disagree with much of his theology

  2. I am fairly sure he is not a Calvinist Anonymous.
    God bless.

    1. I’m pretty sure he’s not identifying himself as a calvinist but sees nothing wrong with their views and even promotes them.

    2. Thank you Anonymous. Calvinism is a false gospel. God bless.

  3. I agree. I once listened to him as he seemed to expose error well. However the endless ads and self-promotion and products for sale became too much for me.
I think the temptation to arrogance and pride are always on hand when one gains a following and becomes any kind of celebrity. The football quotes are horrendous, even if said in jest.
I think one of your followers seems convinced that anyone in error must be a Calvinist! Satan has a rich smorgasbord of false teaching and Calvinism is only one popular item on the menu!
    My best to you, Mike

    1. Couldn't agree more.
It seems Spencer is on a downward spiral lately.
He started off pretty ok but has turned into a slanderer and railer of late.

The Word says, "God does not delight in the destruction of the wicked" yet Spencer seems to relish in it, using his youtube "ministry" as a means to satisfy his inner gladiator!

I have tried to get him to see reason with his hypocrisy selling MERCHANDISE too.
Jesus said, "Freely you have received, freely give."
Is Spencer making MERCHANDISE out of God's Word?... shudder...

  4. I have listened to him for a while and as you say he does call out error.. BUT his rants, his self promotion and his arrogance have really come to the fore lately. I don't think his football quotes were said in jest.. he has a video about "the divine feminine" but it is unbalanced.
    God bless you Mike

  5. He seems to think anything feminine is wicked. Even The Statue of Liberty. I really feel sorry for his daughters.
