TRINITY LIFE CHURCH LEICESTER: THE DIFFERENT MASKS OF DAVID HIND

CURIOUSER AND CURIOUSER!
The latest contradiction is that David Hind, the pastor of Trinity Life Church says on their website that “.....He (Jesus) is the only way to be saved.” http://www.trinitylifechurch.org.uk/davids-letter/2760/
How odd that Hind was happy to “network” with apostate ecumenical leaders through Churches Together Breakfast on the 10th of May - he even instigated that meeting.
Churches Together – Furthering Ecumenical Co-operation within Leicester and Leicestershire” http://www.churchestogetherinleicestershire.org/index.php?module=pagesmith&uop=view_page&id=136
Perhaps Hind would like to qualify exactly which “Jesus” he means since his new friends at Churches Together seem to have differing views. Below are just two examples of the position taken by the so called “church leaders” who attended that event at St Martins House in Leicester with David Hind.
Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. (1 John 2/22-23)
"They say, ‘God has begotten a son.’ God forbid! Self-sufficient is He. His is all that the heavens and the earth contain. Surely for this you have no sanction. Would you say of God what you know not?!   - Qur'an 1:68
The Jews regard Jesus as a false messiah.  The Jerusalem Talmud (Ta'anit 2:1) states explicitly: "if a man claims to be God, he is a liar."
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8/31-32)
The biblical doctrine of separation is diametrically opposed to ecumenism. There is only ONE way that unity is achieved, that is by contending for the faith and sound doctrine i.e. the apostles teaching - it is not through ecumenism.
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. (Ephesians 4/11-16)
And Elijah came near to all the people and said, “How long will you go limping between two different opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him.” (1 Kings 18/21)
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. (James 1/8)
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. (James 4/8)
