THE MARK OF THE BEAST: THE THREEE ANGELS PROCLAMATIONS

This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666. (Revelation 13:18).

Many Christians are expecting the mark of the beast to occupy a major part of the great tribulation. The teaching that the image and mark of the beast comes into effect at the same time, or shortly after the Antichrist proclaims himself to be God at the mid-point of the 70th week of Daniel is widespread. (2 Thessalonians 2:2-4). However, the scriptures suggest a late implementation of the mark of the beast that challenge the widely accepted mid-point position. This information does not affect the timing of the rapture or the persecution of Christians during the great tribulation, but only the time that the mark of the beast is implemented. 

The mark of the beast is found in the following verses of scripture: Revelation 13:15-18, 14:9, 11, 15:2, 16:2, 19:20 and 20:4. The fact that the mark is not mentioned at all in the first twelve chapters of the Book of Revelation is perhaps worth noting.

Nebuchadnezzar’s golden image foreshadows the image of the beast: King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its breadth six cubits. Six musical instruments summoned the people to worship the image. (Daniel 3:1-7). Antiochus IV Epiphanes (c.215-164 BC), partially fulfilled Daniel's prophecy when he erected the statue of Zeus Olympios in the temple. Antiochus holds an important key to the final abomination of desolation.

The Antichrist is "revealed" at the mid point of the 70th week of Daniel:

Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 cf. Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:15).

The covenant the Antichrist makes with many at the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel will be broken at the half way point. This event coincides with his self proclamation of deity. 

And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.” (Daniel 9:27).

Certain things will happen after the Antichrist is revealed at the mid point of the week and before the mark of the beast becomes compulsory as a condition of buying and selling. As such we can safely rule out an immediate implementation of the mark at the mid point. Firstly, the second beast, the false prophet, deceives those who dwell on the earth by performing great signs. After the people are deceived by the signs, the false prophet instructs them to make an image for the beast. Those who refuse to worship the image are martyred. The third element, the mark i.e. the name of the beast or the number of its name, seems to coincide with the image of the beast. The following is a synopsis of these events rather than a specific timeline:

11Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon. 12It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed. 13It performs great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in front of people, 14and by the signs that it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast it deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. 16Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666. (Revelation 13:11-18).

Various scriptures seem to contradict the implementation of the mark of the beast at or around the mid point of the 70th week.

And from the time that the regular burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days. Blessed is he who waits and arrives at the 1,335 days. (Daniel 12:11-12).

The length of the tribulation is 3.5 prophetic years or 1260 days (cut short). Various theories exist regarding the 1290 and the 1335 days. We know that Daniel 12 refers to the time of the end, rather than to Antiochus Epiphanes. Jesus referred to the "abomination that makes desolate" (abomination of desolation), in Matthew 24:15: “So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand).. In this verse, Jesus referred to and validated Daniel 9:27. If the "abomination of desolation" is the Antichrist as the scriptures suggest, then the later implementation of the image/mark of the beast is excluded from the stated timeline. (Matthew 24:15; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4).

The pre-wrath view places the three angels proclamations before the great tribulation is cut short, when God's wrath upon unbelievers becomes imminent. (Revelation 14:6-14). The reason for this view is that the rapture (the harvest of the earth) Revelation 14:14-16, presumes that Revelation 14:6-16 is chronological. However since Revelation 14 is parenthetical, I am unsure of the exact timing of the angels proclamations.

The first angel (Revelation 14:7) proclaims the everlasting gospel and warns of the impending wrath: the hour of his judgement has come. The second angel (Revelation 14:8) proclaims in the prophetic aorist that Babylon the great is fallen. The people of the earth are given one last opportunity to make the critical decision to turn from their sin and trust in Christ to receive His gift of everlasting life. Revelation 14:6 refers to every nation, tribe, language and people. (Matthew 24:14).  In particular, the third angel warns people of the consequences of worshipping the beast and its image and taking the mark. It is unlikely that the angels would proclaim the gospel worldwide and give such dire warnings about the mark ex post facto. It seems reasonable to assume that if the mark was compulsory prior to this proclamation, the majority would have taken it rather than face the prospect of starvation. (Revelation 13:17). In other words, if the mark had been compulsory prior to the third angels proclamation, then the warning would be superfluous.

6Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people. 7And he said with a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.”

8Another angel, a second, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who made all nations drink the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality.”

9And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10he also will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.” (Revelation 14:6-9).

Following the proclamations of the three angels there is a call for the endurance of the saints. (Revelation 14:12). This indicates a relatively short period of time before the tribulation is cut short and the wrath of God is implemented. Some will die in the Lord during this unknown, but brief period of time. (Revelation 14:13). These particular believers who die in the Lord appear to be the fifth seal martyrs. The fifth seal is a critical marker that refers to the fifth seal martyrs: 

9When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne. 10They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been. (Revelation 6:9-11).

Those who take the mark of the beast will not be saved. (Revelation 14:10-11 cf. Daniel 7:9-10, Daniel 7:14, Daniel 7:26-27; Revelation 11:15). The eternal gospel proclaimed by the first angel in Revelation 14:6 is the final appeal to unbelievers before the wrath of God is executed on the beast and on those who worship him. The scriptures are unequivocal.. this particular group of people have utterly rejected the eternal unalterable truth of the gospel, and their opportunity to receive eternal salvation has come to an end. This is further confirmed in Revelation 16. Revelation 16:2 is the first instance that refers to those who have taken the mark. The first bowl describes a specific judgement upon the people who have taken the mark after the seventh seal is broken. This does not begin until after the mark of the beast is enacted.

So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and harmful and painful sores came upon the people who bore the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. (Revelation 16:2).

The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory. (Revelation 16:8-9).

The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguish and cursed the God of heaven for their pain and sores. They did not repent of their deeds. (Revelation 16:10-11).

The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts. (Revelation 9:20-21).

"The rest of mankind", seems to be an inclusive statement that does not allow for exceptions.

Jesus and the Apostles ministries were restricted

The book Harpazo by Jacob Prasch

In trying to unravel and understand the teaching of Jacob Prasch in his book Harpazo, one must read and re-read sections of his book. Most of which are extortionary in contradictions, missteps, and double speak, while attempting to teach and explain his coined term/doctrine “the reversal of Pentecost”. As he continually moves the goal posts i.e. the timing of when the Holy Spirit/Restrainer takes on the role of restrainer and loses His role of empowering the body of Christ; along with no longer convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgement.   Also, once the Holy Spirit stops restraining, according to Jacob, the Holy Spirit becomes restricted in His role, function, and work that he had been poured out onto the body of Christ on the Day of Pentecost, thereby the body of Christ becomes powerless. Jacob also says this powerlessness and inability to minister is the same thing that happened to Jesus did before His crucifixion and the Apostles in the book of Acts chapter 5. This is important to remember as we go through this. Jacob states that the Holy Spirit changes His role, character and function from being outpoured onto the church (body of Christ) on the Day of Pentecost (which most will agree is called the birth of the church) so the question must be asked, how can one un-birth the church?

In addition to the Holy Spirit taking on the role of restraining “evil” Jacob sights 2Th.2:7 which is in error because what the “restrainer” is holding back is not “evil” but the revealing of who the antichrist is, so he is already off in his identification of what the “Restrainer” actually does. Please read 2 Th. 2:6-8

2Th 2:6  And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

2Th 2:7  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

2Th 2:8  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

This will be addressed in much more detail in another article but needed to be touched on somewhat to give a better understanding of what he says concerning the Holy Spirit no longer operating as he had since the outpouring on the Day of Pentecost, leaving a powerless church, during the first half of the 70^th week of Daniel; because according to Jacob, the Holy Spirit has been restricted/reversed in His power, role and function once He ceases to restrain and how that also played out with Christ being restricted in His ministry and the Apostles in theirs. Of which he presents NO scripture for or at least any that supports his claims.

Additionally, I would like to add a short clip of Jacob speaking about the Holy Spirit as the restrainer and how he says that Jesus’s description of the working of the Holy Spirit was wrong.

6:15 mark: “The Holy Spirit will not restrain, he will not operate the way Jesus predicted he would in John’s gospel, convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgement.”

I’ve added this clip where Jacob literally says that Jesus got it wrong or at best didn’t fully understand the complete function and working of the Holy Spirit and or forgot to mention that the Holy Spirit given to us from the Father would be limited and restricted, leaving the body of Christ powerless during the first half of the 70^th week of Daniel. This video titled “On The Mark: A Word To John MacArthur part 1” came out in June of 2014 and his book “Harpazo” in September of 2014. What he is saying and implying about Jesus here is very serious and no, he doesn’t get a pass at misspeaking, he needs to be held accountable for it and give an explanation of why he said it. In essence he is saying that Jesus got it wrong and he knows the correct answer to how the Holy Spirit will function during the 70^th week of Daniel. Note also that in his book Harpazo he uses the very verse that he mentions in the video of Jesus getting it wrong in John’s gospel; of the Holy Spirit convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgement. Now he takes the verse and twists it to mean the Holy Spirit is “restraining” by convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgement. Again, which is it Jacob, is Jesus right or are you? It can’t be both ways.

Here on Page 128 Jacob says:

“We must note, however, that in Acts 5, a point was reached where the Apostles could no longer preach prior to the arrest and rescue. The same will happen to the Church once the Restrainer (2Th. 2:6-7) no longer restrains and we are given over wholesale to persecution.

What happened to the Apostles at this point, replays what happened to Jesus in Gethsemane. (Mt. 26:36-56; Mk. 14:32-52; Lk. 22:39-53. Up to a certain point, although opposed, He was still able to continue in His ministry. But a time came when this was no longer to be the case. That time will once again come for the Church, and as with Jesus, there will be a betrayal from within our own ranks.”

Now the first thing I did when I read this, was, I noticed that he references Acts chapter 5 but does not reference any verse in particular, so perhaps the entire chapter speaks on how the Apostles ministry was restricted to the point to where “the Apostles could no longer preach”.

We will break this into two parts because of the seriousness of what is being said here in reference to Christ and His ministry. First concerning the Apostles; nowhere in chapter 5 of Acts does it say that the Apostles could no longer preach, in fact, if you look at verses 12-16 the opposite is true:

“And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people.  And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch.  Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly.  And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them.  Also, a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing the sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all headed.”

The last two verses of Act 5 states:

“Act 5:41 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. 

Act 5:42  And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.”

Both before their imprisonment and after we see there is no restriction whatsoever, but the opposite, believers were increasingly added to the Lord and in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as Christ (vs. 14,42).  Not only that but an angel broke them out of prison (Acts 5:19)! Yes, the church will be persecuted but that doesn’t restrict the Holy Spirit nor does the Holy Spirit just reside within the believer and not continue to fulfill all that Jesus said concerning the functions of Holy Spirit.

I encourage everyone who reads this to please read Acts chapter 5, it’s not that long.

Now the second part pertaining to Christ and His ministry:

What happened to the Apostles at this point replays what happened to Jesus in Gethsemane. (Mt. 26:36-56; Mk. 14:32-52; Lk. 22:39-53.  Up to a certain point, although opposed, He was still able to continue in His ministry. But a time came when this was no longer to be the case. That time will once again come for the Church, and as with Jesus, there will be a betrayal from within our own ranks.” – Prasch (pg128)

While one can run a comparison with the Apostles being imprisoned and beaten and Christ being persecuted. What is most important in this paragraph is what he says concerning Christ’s ministry:

“Up to a certain point, although opposed, He was still able to continue in His ministry. But a time came when this was no longer to be the case. That time will once again come for the Church, and as with Jesus, there will be a betrayal from within our own ranks.”

Jacob references scripture supposedly showing where Jesus’s ministry was hindered to the point he could no longer minister.  Mt. 26, Mk. 14 or Lk. 22 Christ was fulfilling prophesy AND HIS MINISTRY, and in Lk. 22:43 it says that Jesus was even strengthened by an angel.

Luk 22:43  And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

He says that Christ couldn’t continue His ministry because he was opposed. Really? The Cross was His ministry!! Where was Christ powerless?

Mat 26:53  Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

Mat 26:54  But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

Mat 26:55  In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.

Mat 26:56  But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

Mar 14:49  I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.

Luk 22:69  Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

Also see: John 10:17-18 Jesus didn’t just die; he died with power and authority. His life wasn’t taken from him; he laid it down willingly to die for our sins. 

Joh 10:17  Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

Joh 10:18  No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Heb 12:2  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 

The question is, why would Jacob diminish the work and power of not only the Holy Spirit and the Apostles but Jesus Christ Himself? It’s impossible to wrap one’s mind around. According to Jacob what believers have to look forward to during the 70^th week of Daniel, before the rapture is a diminished spiritual life that holds no power or at best very restricted power since the Holy Spirit only resides within the hearts of the believer as He did in the Old Testament; all the while the believers will be enduring a level of persecution that has never been before on the earth.
What does that do to the Cross? It null and voids Christ’s ministry completely. What does it say about the blood of Christ shed for us if the Holy Spirit reverts to dealing with believers as in the Old Testament?

“There was a gap when Jesus was raptured and sent the Holy Spirit, there will likewise be a gap when the Holy Spirit operates again in an Old Testament character and, as it were, this causes the Father to send back Jesus to harpazo His people. It was during this period, between the haprazo of Jesus and the Ascension and the coming of the Holy Spirit that the Apostles were caught in a limbo-like vacuum where the Church did not per se exist and the Holy Spirit had not as yet been outpoured, but Christ had left.” – Prasch

The Holy Spirit will dwell in the hearts of faithful believers as individuals only as He did in the time between John 20-22 and the Day of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit will no longer be uniting or empowering the church.

Joh 20:22  And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

However I would like to add John 20-23

“John 20:23  Whose so ever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose so ever sins ye retain, they are retained.”

So, as we try to understand correctly, Jacob’s “reversal of Pentecost” we find believers will be trapped in this gap period between Christ’s ascension and the sending the Holy Spirit, it is only logical to conclude that Christ will have to return in order for the Holy Spirit to stop operating at full capacity, as He has been since His outpouring on the Day of Pentecost. Christ’s ascension was also part and parcel of fulfilling His ministry and fulfilling prophecy. They Holy Spirit has already been poured out on the Day of Pentecost, for Him to return to dealing with man as in the Old Testament and or “the gap” period Christ has to return/ descend from the Fathers right hand. The church did exist, Prasch himself says this in another video.

Joh 16:7  Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

John 14:16
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever—

John 14:26
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you.

Eph 1:19  And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 

Eph 1:20  Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Eph 1:21  Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

Eph 1:22  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 

Heb 1:3  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Heb 10:12  But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;

It is troubling to conceive the eschatological events as Jacob Prasch perceives them.

§  His arguments are faulty as he moves the goal post on timing issues concerning the restrainer.

§  He provides no biblical proof that the Holy Spirit is the restrainer outside of John 16:8.

His presuppositions that the “convicting” of the Holy Spirit is synonymous with “restraining” is completely inconclusive providing a weak argument as the two are not the same.

§  He diminishes the final work of Christ on the Cross and his provision to the Church in giving the Holy Spirit as a continued companion and power in the believer’s life. (See also Mark 13:10-11; Luke 21:12-15) as both show the believer empowered to witness during the Great Tribulation period.

§  He diminishes the work and power of the Holy Spirit during the 70^th week of Daniel with no biblical evidence whatsoever. In fact, Acts 2:14-21 demonstrates that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and empowering of the Body of Christ to witness will continue up to the sign given by Joel which ends the Great Tribulation with the return of Christ to rapture the church and initiate the Day of the Lord. – Joel 2:28-31 (cf. Matt. 24:29)

§  His reversal of Pentecost is unsubstantiated and cannot be exegetically demonstrated. Again, another presupposition on Jacob’s part.

§  He spiritualizes Scripture (which he calls midrash interpretation) to fit is subjective theory of the reversal of Pentecost and the role of the Holy Spirit during the 70^th week of Daniel.

MORIEL'S CREATURES IDENTIFIED!

I have written something to the church, but Diotrephes, who likes to put himself first, does not acknowledge our authority. So if I come, I will bring up what he is doing, talking wicked nonsense against us. And not content with that, he refuses to welcome the brothers, and also stops those who want to and puts them out of the church. (3 John 1:9-10).

Jacob Prasch's Creatures Identified:

*Joshua Chavez (aka Servus Christi) likes to secretly record his victims in order to entrap them. Chavez is a man who always answers a question with a question. He has managed to alienate himself even from many within the Moriel camp!

*Amos Farrell (Genesis Christian Radio) is another dirty tricks merchant.

Farrell was a bit too dismissive when I questioned the true identity of John Cambridge on Bill Randles FB page. In my view The John Cambridge episode was a complete sham.

One comment on Bill Randles FB page was very insightful:

"I was re-reading Paul’s epistles recently. One detail that struck me was how important authentication was to Paul when writing to people. He would take a few verses introducing people like Timothy, Titus, Tychicus, etc. as legitimate ministers, etc. In particular in 2 Thessalonians it looks as if Paul had to write the letter to dispel false teaching, false teachers, and possibly even forged epistles, e.g. 2 Thessalonians 2:2 '..that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come,' and 2 Thessalonians 3:17 where he basically has to affirm that he’s writing the letter and what his handwriting looks like so they could tell a forgery. Dave Borlase "That, for me creates two major issues. 1) Jacob hadn’t read in full or investigated the source before putting it out on the Moriel TV page and encouraging me to read it. It seems anything from anyone will do, as long as it fits the narrative he is presenting. 2) In his testimonial of these people, he gives them a glowing report, but as the blog post shows, he knows a lot more about them than he tells me. I can only consider that, at best misleading and could well be considered a deliberate attempt to deceive." {1}

*Bill Randles put up a token fight at first, but he turned out to be weak. Randles friendship with Prasch has taken precedence over any attempt he made at godly discipline. (James 3:17). I am still waiting for Bill Randles assessment of Prasch's intra-seal theory. Perhaps when he is not too busy being manipulated by Prasch, he will have time to give his attention to these false teachings.

Moriel TV have opted to hide all comments and have blocked any discussion from taking place on their FB page. It seems that open discussion about these matters is not on Diotrephes' agenda!

It's been a very close run thing, but my vote for Prasch's number one creature goes to Joshua Chavez, with Amos Farrell coming up a very close second.. but perhaps you have another candidate in mind?

Below is a video where David Nathan address all the issues he is accused of by Jacob Prasch and his henchmen who are determined to discredit David Nathan and villainize him as a heretic. It serves as an example of what is known in a religious system as “the good boy network,” where a leader is placed on such a high pedestal that they themselves are beyond correction and criticism, who themselves are unaccountable to anyone for their actions and behavior. Where those who follow do so with complete blindness. Its a matter of conformation bias which is the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms one’s own beliefs or hypotheses, while giving disproportionately less consideration to alternative possibilities. It is a type of cognitive bias and a systematic error of inductive reasoning. In attempting to debate supposed accusations the leadership of Moriel and its affiliates have made themselves look very foolish by stroking Jacob Prasch’s agenda against David Nathan and refusing to investigate the matter fully and address Prasch’s unbibical behavior and refusal to meet and resolve said issues.

Men such as John Haller, Bill Randles, Ian Huxham & Amos Farrell cozy up to Prasch and are enablers to his hot style, aggressive, unethical, and unbiblical behavior all while David Nathan has pleaded for reconciliation. Prasch on the other lies and manipulates the facts. In fact, he is guilty of far worse that what he has accused David Nathan of. He diminishes the role and ministry of the Holy Spirit in his faulty eschatology, reverses Pentecost without any biblical evidence and distorts Jesus’ teachings concerning the Holy Spirit role in the world. Take a stand, its time people stand up to bullies such as Prasch, who abuse their power over others and ostracize without any real biblical grievances. Who himself is disobedient to our Lord’s teaching on church discipline as taught in the beatitude and outlined in Matthew 18.

The accusation in this video is that David Nathan has still not cleared up the question of blood sacrifices during the millennium. This accusation is patently untrue as demonstrated by David Nathan's response to Bill Randles dated 15th October 2018:

"The statement which I should not have made but rather should have sought to express myself very differently and that folk have objected to is, “The Blood of Jesus will not profit anyone, anything in the Millennium.”  In using this phrase, which I regret, I was not stating that the Blood of Jesus does not cleanse in all ages as this would be a clear violation of scripture. His blood alone can take away sin and every sacrifice from Genesis 3:21, when the Lord clothed Adam and Eve in tunics of skin to the sacrifices of the Millennium all point to Jesus. In the teaching I kept using the word atone to describe the purpose of the millennial sacrifices in the sense that they do not remove sin but cover sin. I reiterate again that I do not teach nor believe that the sin of an animal or animals can ever remove sin. Not under the Old Testament, not now nor in the age to come. Only the Blood of Jesus can remove sin both now and forever, including the millennium. Incredibly at the end of their accusatory video against David Nathan, Amos Farrell urges "brothers and sisters - Stop this -this is totally ?? it is not edifying the church or any individual.."  I think that many people are wondering why Moriel's stooges do not "stop this" in light of David Nathan's clear refutation back in October, and his further video Addressing BOLM in Regards to Jacob Prasch:

Recently, it was brought to my attention that Jacob Prasch of Moriel Ministries has been under somewhat of an investigation by an organization called Catalyst. Following is the video hosted by Mr. Graham Baldwin explaining the nature of the investigation involving Mr. Prash’s actions and behavior with an invite for others to come forward.

Moriel Ministries, a 501(c)(3) non profit corporation in the USA is run by 3 trustees – James (Jacob) Prasch, David Lister and Marco Quintana. Moriel Missions – a UK registered charity is run by Prasch and Lister. Their media man calling himself Josh Chav has uploaded a number of defamatory videos to the Moriel YouTube channel on their behalf and has published Moriel messages on their Facebook – neither of which allows free comments or right of reply. Having made a number of false and extremely defamatory accusations against certain Christians and their ministries, Graham Baldwin of Catalyst Counselling (www.catalystcounselling.net) challenges Moriel and their supporters to examine the evidence for themselves.

Following a copy of the e-mail I sent to Mr. Baldwin in response to his video. For those of you who are reading this and are unaware of previous experience with Moriel, you will find a link to a previous post in the body of the letter, along with the mention of others who were also involved at that time.

Dear Mr. Baldwin,
I am contacting you regarding the behavior and treatment that I and others have experienced at the hand of Jacob Prasch, a man upheld by many as a man of God. I am the blogger, M’Kayla Kelly at M’Kaylas Korner, and the unnamed friend mentioned to you in the letter from Mike and Pat Rogers. I will assure you the events that Mike brought to your attention during the summer of 2016 regarding our experiences with Moriel via Tim Wirth are correct.

After watching your video and discussing recent events with my friends, I cannot stay silent. I have a blog that exposes false teaching of the International Association of Healing Rooms, the false healing movement, and the false prophetic, of which the Lord delivered me in 2008. It was during my research that I came upon Moriel and Jacob where I received help with some of the things I needed to understand. I believed him to be true to scripture, and even purchased a couple of his books, which unfortunately I found to be not so helpful.

I had been on first named basis with Tim Wirth and considered him a brother in the Lord and friend by way of internet contact though we had never personally met. Through personal messages through Facebook I asked Tim the question regarding women teachers, specifically if Jacob is against women teaching then what is his stance on women who expose false teachers on a public blog such as mine. This began a very long diatribe between us and one that Tim would not settle as he continued a banter with me for a good amount of time. I should still have these conversations in my archive.

What did come out of it is just as Mike described to you, even after I posed my question directly to the Moriel website, it went unanswered, and instead, I and my friend were compared to the likes of Joyce Myers and called names. We were horrified, and yet now understand this behavior is normal to the way Jacob operates.

I went public on my blog to expose this work, and shortly thereafter was contacted by numerous people, one of which was Deborah Menelaws. I remember our communication went on for several hours that day well into the night and for sometime after that. I had also been contacted via e-mail by a woman who had serious experiences with Jacob many years ago, a description  of events so serious that she stated nearly destroyed her personally as well as her ministry.

Since that time I have had numerous conversations with others regarding Jacob as many are either put off by his brash behavior and angry rants, or who tell similar stories of personal encounters with him. Despite the public exposure regarding my experiences I still see people endorse and follow him and have read comments from women who seem to fawn over him, nearly in a state of worship.

I am often accused of being the one who is in wrong, that I am interfering with the work of God in belittling my work in comparison to his, or that I should have done more to connect to Jacob on a personal level. No matter the excuse, people still refuse to see the truth.

It is distressing that others who are considered leaders know of his behavior yet continue to work with him side by side as in acceptance and agreement with his inexcusable behavior.

And just as he is doing with David Nathan, as with others, he needs to be held accountable for his own false teaching that he is so quick to deliver including the videos posted to our blogs, edited by Tim Wirth.

I would like to remind my readers who may be in dissent. If James Jacob Prasch would stick to the word of God and actually obey the teachings regarding how believers are to talk to and treat each other, we would be in a much better place. We can disagree but we are called to do so in love and to bring scripture as proof. All of his arrogant ugliness does nothing but bring division, despair, and destroys the work of believers in bringing opportunities for salvation and discipling others.  It must stop and we all need to speak up.

Louis Erasmus speaks out about Jacob Prasch's scandalous lack of accountability. I am posting this in support of Louis, who is yet another example of a brother who has been badly maligned and abused by Prasch's infamous judgements upon others. My only reservation is that I cannot agree with Louis' assessment about the timing of the rapture and his hurtful remark about Joe Schimmel of Good Fight Ministries. I regard Joe Schimmel as an excellent teacher of God's Word.
