JESUS ARMY REPORT: DISGRACEFUL COVER UP OF ABUSE BY CHURCH LEADERS

Jesus Army abuse 'covered-up by church leaders', report claims

  1. Those rumours have been around almost as long as the organisation itself. I was once firmly reprimanded by the leader of the fellowship I was at for voicing what I’d heard. I was told that he had been to Bugbrooke and it was a fine place. As Esther Ransom said about Jimmy Savile, people aren’t abused by monsters, but by nice people. Or in the Christian world, fine upstanding spiritual people who speak the words of God, so don’t you dare disobey! This is, sadly, just the latest example, and equally sadly, it won’t be the last.
Parts of the evangelical world are quick to condemn abusive Roman Catholic priests, but sometimes we need to look closer to home.

  2. It is all too easy for cults to dismiss and "reprimand" an individual John. They are very brave when they are in positions of power! These wicked men cannot now deny the abuse that happened at Jesus Army ~ thank God they are shamefully exposed.

“See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 18:10).

    God bless.
