As suspected, John Haller's relationship with the truth has been proved to be extremely wanting. Haller's animosity towards Tim Wirth is unmissable below, and his comment about Tim's "bad research" is totally false. Those associated with Fellowship Bible Chapel should be aware that Haller deals in half truths and is merely a spin doctor for false teacher and fake Jew Jacob Prasch (Moriel Ministries).

It was also brought to our attention that John Haller attempted to defend Joe’s appearance on the show by explaining that we were ignorant of what network the interviews were going to be aired on. While we understand why John might come to this conclusion (considering it took almost 3 years to make Joe’s interviews available, while all the other speaker’s interviews showed up much, much sooner), that was only partially correct. John wasn’t being dishonest, but he simply didn’t have all of the facts. The temporary studio was put together at the conference in order to interview all of the participants. Joe was not very familiar with GodTV at the time, having never seen it and was not aware of the host’s associations (specifically, Rick Joyner). {2}

Notice on this video about David Lister https://youtu.be/rsl–c0bifM (this link no longer works as the video was removed shortly after this was posted) where Lister states that he was a minister and after already being on the radio and taking on Brownsville/Toronto whenever he then met Jimmy Prasch. Well, take note that Lister, later on, states that Prasch helped him out of being addicted to heroin. What?? So, was Lister a minister who was addicted to heroin? In my last conversation with David Lister, he stated to me that he would “Do whatever it takes to  protect this ministry”. Lister is the guy behind the scenes that goes around sweeping up after Prasch has made a mess of things. Lister also isolates Prasch from most of the negative things that come into Moriel. Listers nickname is “The Politician”. And he is a pathological liar. David Lister in 2017 made 87,100 based on a 35-hour workweek. And that does not include his housing allowance and all travel and food paid for. So that’s a pretty sweet deal. It’s a real shame that Jackie Alnor was sworn to silence about David Lister’s fellowship shutting down because Lister plagiarized Warren Wiersbe and others. If that’s not cult-like what is? Plagiarism is no big deal to Moriel anyway seeing that Prasch makes no citations whatsoever in books allowing him to make things up or borrow from others. Lister continues to bear false witness against me to my friends and tries to drive wedges, but Haller has done this as well so …That’s what cults do. I am speaking up now not to address the lies that have been stated publicly about me by guys like Josh Chav but I just got tired of the spiritual bullying. Will this change the minds of most of the people following Moriel? Probably not because they have chosen to believe lies. A very scary place to be in the end times indeed. I hope to help people sitting on the fence. Just a side note. Prasch has spread it all around that Lister worked for Elvis… Funny thing because my mentor and friend the late great Hal Blaine used to play the drums for Elvis and he never heard of Lister. Did Lister have a different name at that time? I have no idea. So, I watched the Memphis mob documentary on Elvis’s small circle on the inside. And there was actually a guy who kinda looked like Lister. It was not Lister but I can see where the strange mind of Prasch may have constructed his story from. These guys need prayer folks lets never forget that. But the spiritual bullying and the abuse that Moriel does to the Body of Christ needs to stop. If Jackie Alnor refuses to step up that’s her privilege. But I cannot be silent anymore for the sake of others.

JOHN HALLER AND JACOB PRASCH: THE RAPTURE QUESTION

Two prewrath rapture teachers will be speaking at the 2019 Columbus Bible Prophecy Conference hosted by Fellowship Bible Chapel between the 11-13th of October. Alan Kurschner (Eschatos Ministries), and Charles Cooper (founder and director of the Prewrath Resource Institute of Orlando). {1} This is (hopefully?) a definite step in the right direction for John Haller (pastor/elder of FBC), who has been very thick with Jacob Prasch (Moriel Ministries) in the past. Does this latest development signify cooling off in the relationship between Haller and Prasch, or will there be a further attempt to promote Prasch's rapture theory as a plausible variation of prewrath just prior to the Columbus Conference? Prasch was a speaker at FBC as recently as March of this year, and Haller will be a speaker at Moriel's Canadian Conference on the 4th and 5th of October.

The prewrath rapture position was developed by Robert Van Kampen during the 1970's. I am at a loss to understand why Jacob Prasch is in denial about this fact. Prasch gives all the credit for prewrath to those who cannot legitimately take the credit for it i.e. Tregelles (misspelled "Tregellas/Tregallis") and CS Lovett. {2} In fact, Tregelles was post-tribulational and had nothing whatsoever to do with the development of prewrath. Lovett's version of prewrath differs significantly from the prewrath position as we know it today. Lovett extended the tribulation to the entirety of the 70th week of Daniel and put the rapture at the end of this period. According to Lovett, the wrath of God is poured out after the 70th week. The church therefore escapes the wrath, but goes through a supposed seven year tribulation. As I have previously stated, the pioneer of the prewrath rapture view as we know it today was undoubtedly Robert Van Kampen who was later supported by Marvin Rosenthall. The fact that Prasch disputes these simple facts is a testimony to his duplicitous character.

Jacob Prasch has hatched his own very own rapture theory that he has designated "intra-seal" in a conceited attempt to get it recognised as a credible thesis. In reality, Prasch's muddled theory is a corruption of the prewrath position. Prasch is an opportunist whose theory is an unoriginal mishmash between prewrath and pre-trib. He has taken the timing of the rapture from the prewrath camp, hence his attempt to pass off prewrath and intra seal as two variations of the same fundamental position. {3} This claim is an insult to prewrath scholarship. I haven't noticed any prewrath scholars rushing to agree with Prasch about the alleged similarities between prewrath and intra-seal. Ironically, in an attempt to promote his own gibberish, Prasch has the audacity to point out where prewrath scholars supposedly "get it wrong"! Today's prewrath scholars are, in my view, very careful in their exegesis, and unlike Prasch, they can back up their assertions with the scriptures. 

*Prasch's pneumatology is copied from cult leader John Nelson Darby, who was the first person to claim that the Restrainer of 2 Thessalonians is the Holy Spirit. Prewrath teachers generally maintain that the Archangel Michael is the Restrainer, and although they are not dogmatic, there is scriptural evidence to support their view.

*Prasch oscillates confusingly between a supposed seven year tribulation (pre-trib), and a three and a half year tribulation (prewrath). {4}

*Prasch differs with prewrath position regarding the timing of the two witnesses in Revelation 11 despite demonstrable proof that the two witnesses will be in Jerusalem during the second half of the 70th week of Daniel. {5}

The danger of Prasch's intra seal theory is that it adds to the general confusion surrounding the 70th week of Daniel. Intra-seal may actually work against the purposes of God and have the effect of strengthening the false pre-tribulation rapture theory which has such a stronghold on the Western church. Prasch has done no-one any favours with his wacky theory. Furthermore, no one, even within Moriel, with the exception of Prasch himself, appears to understand intra-seal. Like Darby's pre-trib rapture deception, intra-seal is nothing more than an exercise in pseudo academic vainglory and should be treated as such. I regard this whole sorry theory as a presumptuous misrepresentation of the Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 11:4).

Prasch: "Pentecost is reversed... the same as Jesus went and sent the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit goes and sends Jesus. In that interim period you have a powerless church that cannot fulfil its mission any more... The Holy Spirit will not be taken from the hearts of true believers but He will be taken from the world (Gen 6:3; 2 Th 2:6). God will, as it were, return to an Old Covenant dealing with man.." {6} None of these statements can be validated by the scriptures. (1 John 4:1).

Another one of Prasch's dubious claims is his insistence that he had sorted out the timing of the rapture before anyone else!

Prach: "LONG BEFORE the term 'pre-wrath' was crystallised... I and others like me.. BEFORE pre-wrath came into vogue, BEFORE the term was coined, I believed that the rapture was between the sixth and seventh seal.. I and others have ALWAYS believed that the rapture will not take place until the faithful church knows who the Antichrist is .. I believed it BEFORE pre-wrath was even termed 'pre wrath' and believed it BEFORE those books that launched pre-wrath were written." {7}

My response:

"Let us do a little calculation shall we? Jacob Prasch claims that he became a Christian in February of 1972 through The Children of God cult. After leaving The Children of God, he admits to getting caught up in various false teachings during the following five years.{1} That brings us to 1977. Robert Van Kampen taught and developed what is known today as the 'pre-wrath' rapture during the 1970s, and Marvin Rosenthal eventually published his book The Pre-Wrath Rapture of the Church in 1990.{2} Is JP seriously expecting us to believe that he had his eschatology all sorted out during the 1970's prior to Van Kampen and Rosenthall? There were two views of the rapture prior the 1970's: The classic post-tribulational view, and Darby's false pre-tribulational view which became popular after the 1830s. Dispensationalist Robert Gundry also modified the post-trib position to take account of the 7th seal. I am not aware of anyone preaching a rapture in between the 6th and 7th seal of Revelation pre-dating Gundry, Van Kampen and Rosenthall, and yet JP says that he and some mysterious 'others' believed this view. It does not add up does it? Perhaps this is JP's nod to his Irish descent since it is clearly a bit of Irish blarney! I do not like to call anyone an outright liar, but I do not know what else to call this piece of fiction!" {8}

Speculation about Prasch's claimed "Jewish descent" has also come into question recently. {9} It appears that Prasch not only has a fake Jewish identity, he has a fake rapture theory to match!

John Haller and other Prasch supporters have been very remiss in not presenting ALL the facts about Jacob Prasch in their attempted defamation of David Nathan. (Proverbs 20:10,23; 11:1). As an attorney, Haller should know the value of presenting ALL the evidence in any given dispute. Unfortunately he has been one of Prasch's shills for some considerable time, along with Amos Farrell, Joshua Chavez (or whatever he calls himself), Marco Quintana, Ian Huxham and Bill Randles. Incidentally Bill Randles now says: "I deeply regret much of my involvement with Jacob". {11}

Hopefully the 2019 Columbus Bible Prophecy Conference will redress Prasch's false teaching and bring some sanity to the rapture question.

BILL RANDLES CONTINUED VILIFICATION OF DAVID NATHAN!

My problem is that David has never explained why he said such an outrageous thing in the first place, and I have never heard him once specifically repudiate it. "In my view, the original issue which triggered all of this boils down to two statements of David Nathan’s;

“ The blood of Jesus will not profit anyone anything in the Millennium” and the twin statement in which Nathan strongly asserts that the blood sacrifices offered in the Millennium are in no way memorial. In other words, they do not point back to the cross of Jesus, as the Lord’s Supper does.
” God the Father did not Create anything”...

Lets go over the facts again shall we?

David Nathan has explained that his statement about the Blood of Jesus was badly expressed and that he was not succinct etc.

David Nathan: "The statement which I should not have made but rather should have sought to express myself very differently and that folk have objected to is, “The Blood of Jesus will not profit anyone, anything in the Millennium.” In using this phrase, which I regret, I was not stating that the Blood of Jesus does not cleanse in all ages as this would be a clear violation of scripture. His blood alone can take away sin and every sacrifice from Genesis 3:21, when the Lord clothed Adam and Eve in tunics of skin to the sacrifices of the Millennium all point to Jesus. In the teaching I kept using the word atone to describe the purpose of the millennial sacrifices in the sense that they do not remove sin but cover sin. I reiterate again that I do not teach nor believe that the sin of an animal or animals can ever remove sin. Not under the Old Testament, not now nor in the age to come. Only the Blood of Jesus can remove sin both now and forever, including the millennium. This is and has always been what I have believed though I did not express it succinctly in the series on Eschatology."

The irony is that in October 2016 both Jacob Prasch and David Nathan mis-taught the millennium at Community Church Devore in Southern California. At this meeting, Jacob Prasch, David Nathan and Marco Quintana were all in complete agreement: After the rapture of the church, the age of grace comes to an end.

Why has David Nathan been singled out as a "heretic" by Bill Randles, and why has Jacob Prasch, who has also mis-taught the millennium, been excluded from his remarks? (Proverbs 28:21). In the meantime, although he had a complete month to do so, Bill Randles said he "hadn't had time" to examine Prasch's dubious intra-seal teachings including "Counting the Omer", and statements like "the Holy Spirit will not be in the world during the 70th week of Daniel", "Pentecost is reversed", etc. It would take perhaps an hour at the most for an experienced bible scholar/teacher to examine intra-seal and to find that it is utterly false. So what is the agenda?

Braker is referring to Brexit, the supposed dissolution of Europe, and a "great storm" that is allegedly about to hit the earth. I would caution believers that it is necessity to test any prophecy given by an individual against the scriptures. (1 John 4:1). People would do much better to give their attention to biblical prophecy, rather than to the dreams and visions of dubious NAR "prophet" Simon Braker and his ilk. There are a number of false teachings associated with the NAR. One major problem is false eschatology i.e. their emphasis on postmillennial dominion theology (Christian reconstructionism), which denies the millennial reign of Jesus Christ. Dominionism stands in direct contradiction to Revelation 20:4: And they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. A false prophet is a person who falsely claims the gift of prophecy or divine inspiration. The penalty for a false prophet in the Old Testament was death: But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has taught rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, to make you leave the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from your midst. Deuteronomy 13:5. This was the case even if the prophecy came to pass; the true test is identified as sound teaching! (Matthew 24:24; 2 Thessalonians 2:9). We don't put false prophets to death these days. However the New Testament takes the subject no less seriously - the fate of false teachers/prophets will be swift destruction (2 Peter 2:1-3; Matthew 7:15; Acts 20:30; 1 Corinthians 13:5; 2 Corinthians 11:13; Titus 1:6;2; 1 John 4:1-3), Romans 16:17; Titus 3:10. 2 John 1:10).

As a response to Braker's prophecy, I have given a brief outline of the scriptural account of final world events based on bible prophecy and possible corroborating world politics as I understand them. I write from a futurist premillennial perspective.

Given the lateness of the hour, I do not think that the dissolution of the EU is likely. I base my views primarily on the "ten kings" prophecy in the books of Daniel and Revelation, and secondarily on the globalist plan for a New World Order.

The Book of Daniel was written in the sixth century BC and is a major apocalyptic book of the Old Testament. The prophecies came in the form of dreams, initially Nebuchadnezzar's dreams (Daniel 2:1), followed by various dreams given to Daniel's himself. Unlike many modern day "prophets", the book of Daniel has scriptural authenticity: "The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure." (Daniel 2:45). History precisely corroborates the earlier prophesies of the book of Daniel; as such we can fully expect its future prophesies to be precisely fulfilled.

Daniel interpreted King Nebuchadnezzar's dream of a great statue as God's prediction of the rise and fall of four world powers (Daniel 2:31-43). Most bible scholars agree with the traditional view that we are living in the fourth beast kingdom at the present time i.e. Rome (initially the Roman Empire - morphing into Roman Catholicism at the end of the fourth century).





After this, as I watched in my vision in the night, suddenly a fourth beast appeared, and it was terrifying—dreadful and extremely strong—with large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed; then it trampled underfoot whatever was left. It was different from all the beasts before it, and it had ten horns. While I was contemplating the horns, suddenly another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. This horn had eyes like those of a man and a mouth that spoke words of arrogance. (Daniel 7:7-8).

The ten horns correspond to the ten toes of the image of Daniel 2 (Revelation 12:3; 13:1; 17:3; Daniel 2:41-42; Daniel 7:23). The ten toes represent a confederacy of ten kingdoms, some strong and some fragile, emerging from Rome.

And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. (Daniel 2:42 KJV). "..they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men" is an unusual phrase that has led to various theories elaborating on the theme that "the seed of men" indicates that "they" cannot be human. (Genesis 6:2).

Finally God will establish an everlasting kingdom that will utterly destroy all the previous kingdoms.

As you looked, a stone was cut out by no human hand, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, all together were broken in pieces, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. (Daniel 2:34-35 cf. 44-45).

Satan is described in Revelation 12:3 as a huge red dragon with seven heads, ten horns, and seven royal crowns on his heads. This description identifies Satan with the final beast kingdom more closely than any of the previous kingdoms. A difference occurs in the text however; Satan has seven crowns upon his heads, whereas the beast out of the sea, the final beast kingdom has ten crowns on its horns:

And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems. (Revelation 12:3).
And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. (Revelation 13:1).

Revelation 17:1 describes a prostitute sitting on the scarlet beast with seven heads and ten horns. The prostitute (the false church) therefore sits upon Satan himself. 

The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality. And on her forehead was written a name of mystery: “Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth’s abominations.” And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. (Revelation 17:4-6). 

Not without good reason, the woman/prostitute described above is identified as the Roman Catholic Church in many commentaries. There is no other church, religion or institution that has such a "bloody" history as of the Papal Church of Rome. {2} The Latin phrase "Sancta Mater Ecclesia" (Holy Mother Church), is sometimes employed to describe the Roman Catholic Church. The ecumenical agenda of many apostate denominations, including the NAR, is the vehicle through which Rome's "daughters", whom they refer to as "separated brethren", are being sucked into the vortex of spiritual prostitution and ultimate destruction. (Revelation 18:4).

This calls for a mind with wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated; they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while. (Revelation 17:9-10). The phrase: Here is a call for wisdom (Revelation 13:8), seems related to the number of the beast, 666.

Seven heads can be accounted for as follows: John wrote Revelation in approximately 95 AD. At that particular time, five world empires had fallen, Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece. The one in existence in John's time was Rome, "one is", and the other not yet come will be the Antichrist kingdom. {3}

..the ten horns are ten kings who will rise from this kingdom. After them another king, different from the earlier ones, will rise and subdue three kings. (Daniel 7:24).

And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings for one hour, together with the beast. These are of one mind, and they hand over their power and authority to the beast.(Revelation 17:12-13).The ten kings of Revelation 17 have not yet risen to power, but they will each attain a kingdom in the future, for one hour.. i.e. a short space of time (Revelation 17:10). The ten kings will form a confederacy and rule together with the beast until they hand over their power and authority to him.

Many scholars refer to the European Union as the key to end time prophecy. I think that this is correct since "revived Rome" dominates end time prophecy. The historical position of the church is that the Antichrist will arise out of a revived Roman Empire. However, since the ten kings rule over the earth (Revelation 17:1-2), there appears to be a wider application than the EU. We see that the woman (revived Rome) rules over the ten kings: And the woman that you saw is the great city that has dominion over the kings of the earth.” (Revelation 17:18). The woman will have temporary control over the ten kings, but in reality they hate her and they will ultimately turn on her and destroy her. (Revelation 17:1,16-17).

Daniel 7:7-8 refers to "a little horn" with human like traits:

It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots. And behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things. (Daniel 7:7-8,11, 20; Revelation 13:5). The eighth king is the person/entity that needs our attention: As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction. (Revelation 17:11).

The scriptures refer to the Antichrist as the first of two beasts. The fist beast arises from the sea, representing peoples and multitudes and nations and languages. (Revelation 17:15). The beast rising out of the earth is identified as "the false prophet" (Revelation 19:20), suggesting a "religious" aspect, as against the political aspect of the first beast. (Revelation 13:1, 11). The beast from the abyss (Revelation 11:7) is essentially identical to the beast from the sea (Revelation 13:7). This gives rise to the question: Is the Antichrist actually fully human? Just as Jesus Christ is 100% man and 100% God, so the Antichrist may be 100% man and 100% demonic. The Antichrist will emerge as the man of lawlessness (the son of perdition). (Daniel 11:36, 37; 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4). The dragon (Satan) will give him his authority. (Revelation 13:4 cf. Luke 4:6).

The Club of Rome was created in 1968 and consists of current and former heads of state, UN bureaucrats, high-level politicians and government officials, diplomats, scientists, economists, and business leaders from around the globe. In 1973 the Club of Rome published a report entitled “Regionalized and Adaptive Model of the Global World System”, stating its intention to divide the world into ten economic/political regions. Significantly, the United Nations and the Club of Rome have identified ten regions as ten “kingdoms”.

The Ten Kingdoms of the New World Government:

Kingdom 1: Canada and the United States of America

Kingdom 2: European Union - Western Europe.

Kingdom 3: Japan

Kingdom 4: Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Israel and Pacific Islands

Kingdom 5: Eastern Europe

Kingdom 7: North Africa and the Middle East (Muslims)

Kingdom 8: Central Africa

Kingdom 9: South and Southeast Asia

Kingdom 10: Central Asia

SPECIAL REPORT: Jesus Army workers facing large pensions gap because church did not pay their National Insurance

 to be paid back to former Jesus Army members.

Dozens of former Jesus Army (JA) residents who toiled day and night to look after one of the organisation’s many communal houses are facing having to take reduced pensions – as their elders chose not to pay their National Insurance.

In May, the Christian sect formed in Bugbrooke announced plans to disband following a wave of abuse allegations – exclusively revealed to be more than 100-strong by this newspaper back in 2017.

                       Preacher Noel Stanton set up the religious sect throughout the 1970s.

A group of ex-members known as the Jesus Fellowship Survivors Association are leading an effort to see those abused sexually, physically, financially and spiritually compensated by the church.

But among those making claims against the church are people who looked after the communal Jesus Army houses around the country – many of which were in Northampton.

The church made part of its revenue through a number of business ventures – such as a large potato farm in Nether Heyford and a building services contractor. Several ex-members who worked on the farm as children have described the work as ‘slave labour’ as they did not actually receive a wage, it was ploughed into the common purse.

The so-called employees had their National Insurance contributions paid by the church elders.

But the Chronicle & Echo has now learned that dozens of members who maintained the church’s many communal houses did not have those contributions paid for a number of years – as they were not originally classed as having a job.

Often their daily life involved long, strenuous hours catering for up to 30 housemates at a time. In the 1980s it was agreed that they should, in fact, be classed as workers.

But for many there had already been a significant gap in their National Insurance contributions.

Ian Johnson founded the JA’s Goodness Foods bakery in Daventry only to leave during the 1980s out of principle. His wife Jeannie was among those affected.

                             The entire Jesus Army estate is said to be worth close to 60 million.

“For people, we know this has had a dramatic effect,” he said.

“One person I know is 70 and has had to get an extra job because of the shortage in their pension. My wife should have been paid another five years’ worth of contributions. That would have been at about £1,000 a year. That’s a lot of money.

“I know of at least four people this is affecting and there could be dozens more.”

Mr Johnson, 70, who now runs a successful lettings business on Crete, has urged the Jesus Army to fill in the National Insurance payment gaps for the communal house workers.

“People that lived in the communes were basically being looked after as if they lived in a hotel.”

These workers should have been classed as employees.”

Mr Johnson is calling on the Jesus Army to make up the pension shortfall as part of the ongoing redress scheme but he says the organisation is yet to give him firm answers on whether this will be the case.

There are currently more than 100 claims being made against the religious sect – papers seen by the Chronicle and Echo show its asset value to be about £58 million.

The Jesus Army still owns 55 properties, according to the leaked papers. Many of the properties are communal houses – though there are currently only 200 people believed to still be living in them.

The Jesus Army Battlecentre in London is listed as being worth £13 million ‘dependant on planning caveats’.

Mr Johnson believes the Jesus Army – a registered charity aimed at helping the needy – has a moral duty to compensate the commune workers.

“People who lived in the communes were basically being looked after as if they lived in a hotel,” he said. “These workers should have been classed as employees.”

A spokesman for the Jesus Army said the redress scheme would “soon be open to sympathetically deal with the claims of people who consider that they had a bad experience in connection with the church.”

He said that extended to “people with money concerns” such as those whose National Insurance contributions were not paid.

The Jesus Fellowship Survivors Association is working with the church to compensate victims of abuse. A spokeswoman said: “We have heard, and are still hearing, many stories like Ian’s.

"We are pushing hard for restitution of financial harm to be included alongside a redress scheme being set up in conjunction with the JFCT (Jesus Fellowship Community Trust).

"As part of this involvement, we are putting pressure on the JFCT to do the right thing, morally, regarding financial redress for adults.

“Whilst working with the redress scheme we are also working with solicitors to bring group civil actions.”

PRE-TRIB RAPTURE CONCERNS: JAN MARKELL AND FRIENDS

A survey conducted by LifeWay Research in 2016, revealed that 36% of Protestant pastors in the US believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. {1} The pre-tribulation rapture theory is also popular in the UK and is a dominant belief amongst Pentecostal and Charismatic groups. Some teachers insist that differences about the timing of the rapture are not a reason for Christians to separate. In one respect I agree. Those Christians who believe that the post trib/pre wrath rapture is the biblical model should do everything possible not to alienate those who have been indoctrinated by the pre-trib error. My problem is not with the rank and file, but rather with those teachers who aggressively promote the pre-trib rapture knowing its inherent weaknesses. While these teachers keep banging on about the pre-trib rapture and abusing those of us who believe differently, I feel that the subject will necessarily be a cause of division.

The pre-tribulation rapture theory is so deeply flawed and dangerous that it absolutely necessitates a strong challenge. (Jeremiah 23:16; Proverbs 13:12). The history of pre-trib stands on very shaky ground. (Matthew 7:26-27). The theory was popularised by false teacher and cult leader John Nelson Darby in the 19th century. Prior to Darby, the pre-trib rapture view was completely unknown, although I have heard its proponents falsely claim otherwise. The men who further popularised the pre-trib rapture in the late 1990's, were to put it mildly, of very dubious character. Tim LaHaye (Left Behind), Chuck Missler, Jerry Falwell, Paul Crouch, etc. were staunch supporters of cult leader Sun Myung Moon (Moonies) and were financially/politically compromised.{2}

Broadcaster Jan Markell (Olive Tree Ministries) aggressively promotes the pre-tribulation rapture. Jan refers to those of us who reject this view in favour of the pre-wrath or the post-tribulation rapture "naysayers". {3} I fear for people like Jan. (Matthew 12:36). Many who reject the pre-wrath/post tribulation rapture have not studied the scriptures objectively to see if these things are so. (Acts 17:11; 1 John 4:1). I do appeal to Jan and friends to revisit this subject and to reconsider their position.

The Old Testament "prophets of doom" were also categorised in equivalent terms as "naysayers". They spoke the truth, although they met a great deal of derision and persecution. Those who tickle itching ears give the people what they want to hear rather than what they need to hear. (2 Timothy 4:3; Isaiah 30:10).

Hananiah the false prophet is a striking case in point:

In that same year, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fifth month of the fourth year, Hananiah the son of Azzur, the prophet from Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of the Lord, in the presence of the priests and all the people, saying, “Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. Within two years I will bring back to this place all the vessels of the Lord’s house, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried to Babylon. I will also bring back to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the exiles from Judah who went to Babylon, declares the Lord, for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.” (Jeremiah 28:1-4).

Hananiah's prophecy was appealing, even to Jeremiah in some sense. However, in reality it was nothing more than a pipe dream:

Jeremiah: "Amen! May the Lord do so; may the Lord make the words that you have prophesied come true. Yet hear now this word that I speak in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people. The prophets who preceded you and me from ancient times prophesied war, famine, and pestilence against many countries and great kingdoms. As for the prophet who prophesies peace, when the word of that prophet comes to pass, then it will be known that the Lord has truly sent the prophet.” (Jeremiah 28:6-9)

Problematically, the test of whether a prophecy comes to pass (or not) will come too late for those who have been deceived by the pre-trib error. The consequences of false pre-trib rapture expectations will be enormous! The great tribulation will begin suddenly at the mid point of the 70th week of Daniel, when the Antichrist takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. (2 Thessalonians 2:4). At this late stage, it appears that many will have put all their hope in escaping persecution and will fall away. Many Christians will not be sufficiently "rooted in Him" to understand or endure the unparalleled persecution of the Antichrist. (Matthew 24:21; Colossians 2:6-7; Revelation 14:12).

Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, since they had no depth of soil, but when the sun rose they were scorched. And since they had no root, they withered away. (Matthew 13:5-6). 

As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away. (Matthew 13:20-21).

And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. (Matthew 24:10).



The Generation That Will Not Pass Away – JD Farag, Amir Tsarfati, Jack Hibbs, Billy Crone and Eric Barger - 5th July 2019.

In the above video below, Jan has compiled excerpts from longer interviews during her Understanding the Times Conference 2018. I have picked up on a couple of points as follows:

JD Farag's Poor Theology. (11:00) - The pre-tribulation rapture permeates the entire teaching of Jan and her friends, and in the process it distorts the teaching of Jesus Christ. (Galatians 5:9). Both Jan and JD equate the pre-trib rapture with the "blessed hope". The context of Titus 2:13 describes the blessed hope as "the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ." The blessed hope is intimately bound up with the glorious appearing i.e. the second coming of the Lord, when he will slay the lawless one with the breath of his mouth. (2 Thessalonians 2:8). To add further confusion, Jan and JD dismiss the biblical distinction between tribulation (thlipsis) and wrath (orge) and treat them as synonyms. In doing so, they continue to advance the seven year tribulation fallacy and the pre-trib rapture. These persistent errors have been corrected many times by competent bible scholars over the years. Wilful ignorance and poor theology are inexcusable in those who presume to hold positions of authority within the church. 

But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine. (Titus 2:1).

Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. (James 3:1).

Jack Hibbs' Dishonesty. (29:00) - Both Jan Markell and Jack Hibbs claim that those who are premillennial and post-trib have a "problem" with Israel. Hibbs: "I can tell you right now without meeting them, they have an issue with Israel.." This piece of misinformation is easily debunked. There are a number of significant premillennialists who teach that God will work simultaneously with Israel and the church during the 70th week of Daniel. Two examples are cited below:

As a pastor, Jack Hibbs should know the importance of telling the truth. (Ephesians 4:25; Proverbs 12:17). The integrity of a teacher comes into serious question when he is blatantly dishonest with the facts.

Going back to JD Farag. In a previous video with Jan Markell in 2017 "What on Earth is Happening? - he made the insane accusation that anyone who attacks the pre-trib rapture is "satanic". (7:00).

Whether deliberately or not I cannot say, but JD uses the Nazi technique adopted by Adolph Hitler: "..people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it." {4}

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who turn darkness to light and light to darkness, who replace bitter with sweet and sweet with bitter. (Isaiah 5:20).

..while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. (2 Timothy 3:13).

That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:
Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. (Isaiah 30:9-11,15).
